Leave it to CNN of all outlets to put out a full feature film documentary project as a hit piece against Christianity, basically blaming Christian nationalism and the evil associated with it on Charlie Kirk. No, I'm not making this up.

which basically means our media is persecuting Christians in our own country that was founded on Christian values. But what else is new? Watch this.
Documentary Narrator
Well, for the past several months I've been working on a special project examining the growing influence of Christian nationalism in America. If you're not familiar, Christian nationalism is an ideology rooted in the belief that our country was founded as a Christian nation and that our laws and institutions should reflect Christian values.
Conservative Commentator
Christian nationalism is the belief that America was founded on Christianity and that our laws and beliefs should be founded on Christian values. Yes, America was founded to be a Christian country and our laws and beliefs are already founded and based in Christian values.

What is going on in the lead up to my hour long documentary this weekend, we're going to bring you a preview of what you'll see starting off with the assassination of Charlie Kirk last year. Experts say it was a pivotal moment for the movement and an occasion where the tragedy of his loss unified Christian nationalists and the Trump administration as they honored him. September 21, 2025.

America is a nation in grief, a nation in shock and a nation in mourning. Charles James Kirk was heinously murdered.

memorial service was one of the most potent examples of this shift in our culture that we're experiencing right now where a large segment of American Christians are being activated by, by these ideas, radicalized by these ideas that say that they are the persecuted ones and that they need to stand up for Christians rights.
Conservative Commentator
Yes, there is a shift happening in our culture. Can you imagine just living this far up your own butt all the time working for an outlet like cnn, genuinely thinking that you are doing some real hard hitting journalism here? Attacking Christians in the wake of one of the most well known, well respected prominent Christian public figures being viol assassinated on a college campus. That's bad actually. If you celebrate this person's life, if you forgive murderers publicly in front of the entire world, that's bad actually. That's, that's evil and bigoted for society. It's bad when the President of the United States or the Secretary of War is encouraging people to give their life to Jesus Christ and to pray for a better society. That's evil I guess. I mean at least that's how they're framing it. That's the only logical way I can interpret this commercial, this preview for an act hour long documentary on this crap. Real hard hitting stuff, cnn. I kind of want to watch this thing and do like a viewing party for how bad inevitably I'm sure it's going to be. Maybe we will this weekend. Culture is changing because we're realizing that we were made in the divine holy image of God and on the note of substantial cultural change. One thing we're seeing mass support for is the understanding that men are men and women are women. Largely thanks to organizations like XXXY and their courageous founder, my friend Jen Se, who we had on the pod just a couple of weeks ago to talk about why she created XXXY Athletics as the only athletic wear brand ever in existence that overtly is supporting women's only sports and spaces. There are so many big brands out there that are pretending to take a stand for women and support women's empowerment, but they don't. And they are silent on the issue of men competing in women's sports. Not Jen and not XXXY Athletics. We have fought too hard and too long to go backwards, regressing out of women's true equality in society. Women deserve safety, privacy and fairness. Even though Valentine's Day has passed, it's not too late to show a little bit of extra love to this incredible organization or someone in your life by supporting their amazing athletic wear and buying a couple pieces for yourself or someone else. Stop buying frivolous things from brands that sell women out. Buy instead from XXXY Athletics, the only brand taking a stand to save women's sports. And we're so excited to share their new ad featuring Riley Gaines, my beautiful friend and the incredible athlete and mom who has been leading this movement from four years.

She's brave. She's famous for complaining, famous for fighting for women, famous for her hate. She stands up for what's right.

Only one opinion matters to me. Hers. You guys can visit the truthfits.com and use code ISABELLE for 20% off your purchase with XXXY. But let's just rewind for a second and remind ourselves this is not for no reason. They are not putting out content like this for no reason whatsoever under the sun. This is putting a target on the backs of generally pro American Christians very intentionally. In fact, one of the people that they featured in that video was one of my dear friends whose husb I used to work with at tpusa. They showed her crying in the crowd at Charlie's memorial, which was a very difficult day. I was actually standing right next to her at that event. And mere weeks ago she and her husband attending a TPUSA faith event in California were accosted by extreme protesters advocating for violence against their two beautiful children. That child, both of your kids.

Conservative Commentator
Their newborn son. You don't think documentaries featuring that family in the crosshairs is going to continue putting a target on people's backs? Of course Christianity is becoming increasingly persecuted in the west and hard hitting journalism. CNN will tell you that that's a load of crap. But riddle me this then why are Christians being taken off of street corners in places like London being told it is a hate crime crime for them to sing Christian gospel music in public because it might offend some people but the Islamic call to prayer is just allowed to be broadcasted everywhere. It is beyond insane to me that in less than 250 years as a country we went from our foundation as a Christian nation to now gaslighting anyone who objectively has studied history and realizes that fact as psychotic or evil or bigoted or racist or whatever the point of this is CNN documentary is going to be. Again, I reiterate, Christians are being persecuted in our own country that was founded on Christianity and ironically no one understood that concept better than Charlie Kirk himself.
Critic/Commentator
I was articulated yesterday by a couple of my friends that our country was not founded on Christian principles. So I want to see how like an argument that you guys can give me to combat that because the declaration only refers to God four times and the Constitution doesn't refer to God at all and it only articulates the structure of government. Is common law Christian in nature or is it not?
Historian/Legal Expert
Remember that we were a collection of states and colonies and you need to read the state constitutions before anything else. Nine out of 13 of the original states required you to be a Bible believing Christian to serve in government at the time of the founding. You could Even in actually 13 out of 13 required a declaration of faith. Nine out of 13 required you to be a Protestant except Maryland which was Catholic, which still required a declaration of faith in almost every single one of the original state constitutions, Pennsylvania included. They had I profess Lord and Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in the original state constitutions. So you remember we're a collection of states before that. Secondly, 55 out of 56 of the original signers of the declaration were Bible believing church attending Christians. You asked about common law. So common law is inherited from Blackstone who was Christian. A common law is an outgrowth of the Scriptures. So let's go to three principles of common law. Due process and jury of your peers. Wrapped into the ultimate biblical principle that you shall not favor justice if you are richer or poor. Which is in Leviticus 19 right before most famous part of Leviticus 19, which is that you should love your neighbor as yourself. But before that is that in the administration of justice you shall not favor the rich or the poor, which is the idea of blind justice we get.
Conservative Commentator
Sounds familiar. CNN might be worth picking up a history book before you produce an hour long document about how America was clearly not founded on Christian principles. And if you say so, you are basically Hitler. I mean for goodness sakes, the book of Deuteronomy is more quoted. It is the most quoted piece of literature in all of America's founding documents. More than John Locke, more than the Magna Carta, more than any other piece of literature out there. We rely on the book of Deuteronomy to set up America's legal system and our founding documents. Interestingly, I'm annoyed that they're putting out this documentary, but I'm also filled with a whole lot of hope, because if CNN feels the need to put a hit piece out on American Christians and the concept of Christianity itself, that tells me everything I need to know about the fact that the Holy Spirit is moving through young Americans at an unprecedented rate, more than anyone saw coming. I don't find it coincidental that the number one app in the App Store today right now, downloaded more than ChatGPT this week, is Hallow, a Catholic prayer app leading millions of people in prayer and centering our lives around Jesus Christ. More than anything else, Gen Z is the first generation in American history that is attending church more regularly than our grandparents are. Bible sales are at record highs across the country. Mass baptisms are happening on college campuses. Rcia, ocia. I'll always dead name RCIA can never make the transition. OCIA programs across the country have record enrollment to baptize people into the Catholic Church this Easter. And young people everywhere from across the political spectrum are realizing that in all of our searching for meaning and purpose and fulfillment in every every secular avenue possible, nothing compares to rooting our identity in Christ Himself. I kind of changed my mind. I'm here for this. Maybe we should watch this documentary because they wouldn't be producing this if they were not terrified of the difference Christianity is making in the next generation in America.
Podcast: The Isabel Brown Show
Host: The Daily Wire
Date: February 19, 2026
In this episode, Isabel Brown critiques CNN’s new documentary on Christian nationalism, arguing that the film is not genuine journalism but a targeted attack on Christianity and its proponents in America. Drawing on recent events, including the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Isabel challenges the mainstream narrative of Christian nationalism as a threat and reframes it as a revival of faith that is uniting and inspiring new generations. The conversation encompasses issues of faith, politics, cultural change, and media bias, weaving in notable stories around women’s sports, historical context, and modern-day persecution of Christians.
This episode of The Isabel Brown Show provides a critical response to CNN’s documentary on Christian nationalism, framing it as both a misrepresentation and a sign of Christianity’s renewal in America. Combining pointed critique, historical analysis, and personal anecdotes, Isabel argues for Christianity’s positive role in shaping society and expresses optimism about its resurgence among young Americans. The conversation moves at a brisk, bold pace—anchored by a sense of urgency around cultural change and a belief that faith-driven revival is underway.
