Content. Today is the State of the Union time. Is it?
Ben Shapiro
I don't even.
Isabel Brown
It's time for me go get a cigar. But it's quarter of midnight. He mentions the leering center. I think the world would go a little crazy.
Ben Shapiro
My great friend Charlie Kirk. Great guy, great.
Michael Knowles
We ran into one of my favorite people here at the Speaker's office. I'm ready to mog you with my politics maxing. We'll see you on the other side. Today is the State of the Union which I'm psyched about. When I was a kid, my mom used to force us every day, every single year to sit down and watch the State of the Union every year as a child and watch the whole thing. And then we had to tell her afterwards what is going on in the country and explain where we were at as a nation. It was awful. But then over time I learned how to appreciate it for what it was. And now I look forward to the State of the Union as my super bowl every year. If you guys been watching my content for a couple of years, you will know every year I tend to live stream the State of the Union and we live react to it, give you our thoughts. This year is extra special because I have been invited to go to the State of the Union so I will actually be there. Fortunately you are not allowed to bring any cameras, phones, any sort of electronic device into the House of Representatives chamber. So I can't vlog the entire experience. But I am going to bring you through the day leading up to it and after the fact. And hopefully you may be able to spot myself and Mr. Michael Knowles on C span when you're watching TV tonight. First stop, hair and makeup, because Lord knows I need it. My daughter went to bed at one o' clock in the morning last night, refused to go to sleep. I put her to sleep at 9. Actually it was 8:30.
Isabel Brown
Yeah.
Michael Knowles
So that's where we're at. God bless hair and makeup for making life if possible. First things first, this morning I sat down for an interview with Tommy Robinson that you guys can see on Friday. And then I went through the schedule for the day which is absolutely freaking bonkers. They say I'm going to be on the daily wire stream at 10. I think it's going to be closer to 1am it is a crazy beautiful day here on Capitol Hill. I am taking a quick walk over to Butterworth's, the favorite restaurant establishment of the MAGA world right now to meet up with my pal, the one, the only, Michael Knowles. He's the goat, isn't he? Don't tell him I said that. But we are gonna go place our predictions for what we can expect for tonight's State of the Union speech. Unfortunately, it just dawned on me that my outfit plan for tonight was indeed to wear a white pantsuit. And I'm 99% sure that's probably going to be the outfit of choice for the Democrat women because they've done that the last few years, haven't they? Although it was pink one year, wasn't it? But it sounds like white pantsuits might be the thing as like the statement of solidarity from the left. I don't care. I'm gonna take it back. Republican women can wear white too.
Ben Shapiro
A of couple.
Michael Knowles
Okay, now to absolutely politics MOG Michael Knowles as we make our predictions for tonight's State of the Union.
Isabel Brown
We're here in the Imperial Swamp, the nation's capital, at Butterworth's, one of the secret right wing hangouts at the Capitol. We have to make predictions.
Michael Knowles
Yes, here we go.
Isabel Brown
Length of speech over under 1 hour, 20 minutes. Which is the recent answer for sure. Is that from when he begins speaking or when he enters the chamber?
Michael Knowles
From when he begins speaking. Over an hour and 20 minutes for sure.
Isabel Brown
Yeah, yeah, it will be over. What will the opening topic be?
Michael Knowles
Oh, I'm between two. You go first.
Isabel Brown
I think the opening topic. Look, he's gonna probably hit a few right off the bat just to warm up the crowd But I think the opening topic is going to be the greatest economy ever.
Michael Knowles
Yeah, I was going to say affordability or immigration.
Isabel Brown
Will someone be escorted out?
Michael Knowles
Undoubtedly, yes.
Isabel Brown
Will President Trump say China?
Michael Knowles
China. Yeah, obviously, for sure. At some point. If you want to watch that full video, it is also on my channel. It's a good one. Just got home. We filmed an interview for Friday's episode that you guys are going to see with the one and only Tommy Robinson, who is in the United States right now on a trip from the UK for several weeks. Probably escaping some of the insanity. Of course, I'm still breastfeeding my daughter 10 months in, which is very exciting. So had to come pump a little bit before we make it to the State of the Union tonight. Don't come at me for the microplastics. The manual pump is the best we can do on shorten our list. Okay. We had like 15 minutes. Had to do what I had to do. I'm still waffling on the white. I like the idea of the white pantsuit, but I'm just really afraid. What if I'm standing next to AOC and I look like I'm twinning with her on purpose? Not a good look. I don't know. Also not sure if you guys have tried the new Shirley Temple Ollipop. I'm an Ollipop fiend. My personal favorites being root beer, strawberry, vanilla and Dr. Goodwin, their version of Dr. Pepper, which was my kryptonite soda once upon a time. I don't drink soda anymore because I can feel the film on my teeth, which is disappointing. Disgusting. These things get the job done. And this one is shockingly good actually. So we're home for a couple hours. I'm hanging out with Isla before she stays here with her nanny tonight because my husband is also having to work the entirety of the State of the Union. Obviously he has a big night ahead of him and they are expecting to work until like 2, 3 in the morning, which is gonna be crazy. They're currently booking cabinet secretaries on TV hits for like 1 2am he just called to tell me. So we're kind of gonna be ships passing in the night tonight, but I will briefly get to give him a hug. The speaker of the House is office. Once I get through these couple of hours of editing some videos, answering calls, sending emails, I am headed to dinner where I will have a sit down meal with Congressman Riley Moore from West Virginia who invited me to the State of the Union. He is absolutely incredible. I just had him on the show a Couple of weeks ago and is truly one of the good ones. If you're looking for some guidance on who in Congress is actually a good person or not, he's a good one. And I'm very honored to be his guest tonight, truly. So thank you again, Congressman Moore. I'm so excited for dinner. And then from there, the Congressman and his staff will be taking me over to a party, little reception thing that I actually went to last year. A little cocktail party put on by Speaker Johnson. We'll get to see all of the President's guests that he has invited to the State of the Union there, which includes our beautiful friend Erica Kirk and the USA Olympic hockey team. The question is, will I get to meet Jack Hughes? I'm just wondering. I would really like to meet him. Brock wants me to recreate the miracle sound on TikTok where the coach is saying, I want you to be a hockey player. We'll see if we get the opportunity. We'll meet back up with Michael at that party as well and then we will go in to the speech. And as I told you earlier, I am not allowed under any circumstances to bring a camera, a phone, a pen, like anything into the actual State of the Union in the House chambers. So you'll just have to see me on C Span, I guess. And I hate that I won't be able to like explain everything to you. Maybe we'll do some voiceover over some C Span footage tonight. My room is a disaster. So I'm getting ready my daughters room while she does a dance party with me. And also I really need to like triple check my outfit plan for tonight. So I got the white pants on top I picked for the suit. Not working. So the question is, do we wear the white jacket with a different undershirt and the white pants or do we do a little mix and match action? I wore this suit the other day to the Trump accounts event. I don't know. I think we have the fit Dada. How about Magma? Do you see this? Back to our State of the Union vlog in just a second. But first, I honestly don't know how most of these members of Congress sleep at night, to be honest with you, sitting in the gallery watching grown adults and elected representatives of our country behave like they had uncontrollable Tourette's syndrome. Screaming at the President of the United States. Wild. Mind boggling. But I slept pretty good last night despite the fact that it was only three hours before catching a flight to Nashville to do some filming here and all of that is thanks to my Helix mattress. Finding the right mattress for you does not have to be complicated. Our friends at Helix make it incredibly straightforward with their Sleep quiz which matches you to the perfect mattress based on your specific preferences and sleep needs. They are not just another random mattress company out there either. Helix is the most awarded mattress brand out there, which is with tons of glowing reviews from major publications like Forbes and Wired. And I promise it is not just marketing hype. A recent study they conducted found that 82% of participants actually saw an increase in their deep sleep cycle when they were sleeping on a Helix mattress, which is honestly incredibly impressive when you think about how crucial quality sleep is for everything else in life. My husband and I ended up making the switch to a Helix mattress when my daughter was, I don't know, three or four months old. And almost immediately we saw a massive change in the quality of sleep that we were getting, even if the hours weren't very long. New parents, you get it. As we're getting ready to put my daughter Isla in her own floor bed because she refuses to sleep in her crib. We're even going to get her her own kids Helix mattress too because it has made such a world of difference for my husband and I. Helix makes it so easy for you guys to make the switch as well by offering free shipping straight to your door, a 120 night sleep trial so that you can actually test it out in your own home. And returns and exchanges are totally seamless if it's not quite right. Plus they back everything up with a limited lifetime. Warran birds even want to sleep on a Helix mattress. Start sleeping right tonight and order a Helix mattress today. Okay, back to SOTU after a beautiful dinner with Congressman Riley Moore. He took me through the tunnels underneath all of the Congressional offices so that we could walk over to the main Capitol building. It has been years since I've been in here, since I was an intern and it' fun to just see the inner workings of the House of Representatives. And so we wandered our way through all of this before eventually we ended up in Speaker Mike Johnson's office for a little cocktail party soiree with lots of familiar faces. The USA Hockey team, Nick Shirley, our friend Chloe Cole, members of Congress, the admin folks, everybody, some of whom were dying to be in today's vlog. As you guys know, I am here as a guest this evening of Congressman Riley Moore, who is an absolutely incredible fighter for freedom, fight for faith and for truth here on Capitol Hill. We are in a very loud party right now.
Isabel Brown
Yeah, it is very loud. We're in the Speaker's office, actually, and the men's hockey team, the champions of America, just walked by behind us.
Michael Knowles
Literally right behind us. I kind of want to see if we can poke our heads back there. Congressman, what are you looking forward to for tonight, and what do you think our priority should be for the rest of 2026 here on the Hill and beyond?
Isabel Brown
Well, I always look forward to any speech that that's given by President Trump, and I think this one's going to be a real long one. So I'm really looking forward to it. I want to hear what his policy is going to be on Iran. Want to hear what he has to say about terrorists, particularly with the Supreme Court sitting there. That'll be interesting. And I'm sure there will be a lot of weaving. That's kind of his style. So I'm looking forward to that. But, yeah, I mean, look, I think here in the House, we just need to keep our foot on the gas. We don't need to back off because we're in an election cycle. The way we won is the way we campaigned, and that's the way we need to govern if we're going to win in 26.
Michael Knowles
Amen. I have always loved that about you. If you're going to go out that way, you might as well go out. Thank you so much for having me tonight and for making this dream come true. It's so exciting.
Isabel Brown
No? Very excited, but. And you got your buddy over here
Michael Knowles
next to you, Rachel Maddow. What are you doing here?
Isabel Brown
Should we go meet the men's hockey team?
Michael Knowles
I want to go so bad. Maybe you can go charm somebody so we can't see the ran into to an old friend here behind the scenes at the Speaker's party before the State of the Union. Okay. The big theme today is what are our predictions for the speech? What do you think is the topic he's gonna start with? Oh, gosh, he better start with how the Americans won gold. Amen. Right. Maybe we'll play freebird in the. I mean, I. I am fully expecting an eagle to fly through the chamber. I want, like, a crazy guy in a white tank top with an American flag and cut off jeans running through the chamber. Like, I Want? Amen. Apparently, the hockey team is somewhere right behind us. All right, we have a very special surprise appearance. Nick, Shirley, do you think there will be a mention of the leering center tonight during the state of New York?
Isabel Brown
He mentions the leering center. I think the world would go a little crazy.
Michael Knowles
It'd be exciting, though.
Isabel Brown
It would be.
Michael Knowles
My producer immediately bought one of the Lyring center sweatshirts, and he says it's the best sweatshirt he owns.
Isabel Brown
Very cozy. They are very cozy. I mean, if he says the word layering, it might just get put in the dictionary.
Michael Knowles
Maybe.
Isabel Brown
We're gonna have to call Webster after.
Michael Knowles
What's your next project? I'm dying to know.
Isabel Brown
Working on a lot of fraud. There's a lot of fraud in California, so we could spend a whole entire year there if we wanted to. We'll go all across the world exposing the fraud.
Michael Knowles
We may have to jump in. They're telling me that they got Somalian fraud. Are you serious? All right, well, we may have to jump in your road trip for some of these legs, because we're all about it. We ran into one of my favorite people here at the store speaker's office before heading into the chambers for the State of the Union, Chloe Cole, who has a big announcement about the Chloe Cole act that was just announced today. You guys want to tell us about it? Yes. Thank you so much for having me. It's good to see you again. It's good to see you all again. I am the guest of Representative Bob Ander tonight at the State of the Union, and he has actually drafted the Chloe Cole act of 2026 that will protect all children, not just a select few children in the United States, but every single child in the US from transgender procedures under the age of 18. And allow those children who've already been harmed to seek legal recourse and get the justice they deserve. Queen Gloria tells me it's time to hand in all the devices. It has been so fun being here. We've run into so many friends. You guys will just have to see what happens next on C Span. But Congresswoman Kamek did say she would take a picture of me because she could have her phone. So you never know. We'll see you on the other side. I hate that I could not show you guys the journey to get to my seat because it was the coolest thing ever. I was nerding out the entire time. But also, I'm glad I didn't have my phone because I was so present in all of the chaos. For one of the coolest nights of my life. I was sitting behind the President, But I loved looking at the faces of the members of Congress because the drama, oh, look, that's me. You can see my white pants and my blue jacket. I was applauding Jesus. So kind of ridiculous that no one else was. But from my vantage point, there were several standout moments throughout the night that the left just lives in an alternate reality than we do.
Ben Shapiro
I'm proud to say that during my time in office, both the first four years and in particular this last year, there has been a tremendous renewal in religion, faith, Christianity, and belief in God. This is especially true among young people. And a big part of that had to do with my great friend Charlie Kirk. Great guy, great man. So last year, Charlie was violently murdered by an assassin and martyred, really martyred for his beliefs. His wonderful wife Erica is with us tonight. Erica, please stand. Thank you, Erica. Been through a lot in Charlie's memory. We must all come together to reaffirm that America is one nation under God. And we must totally reject political violence of any kind of.
Michael Knowles
Okay, it's hard to tell here, but actually, like, half of the Democrats refused to stand up for that. The camera doesn't show that. But half of the Democrats refused to stand up to call for an end to political violence, referencing Charlie Kirk's assassination. That is insane. But there were a few moments of unity there last night as well.
Ben Shapiro
Here with us tonight is a group of winners who just made the entire nation proud. The men's gold medal Olympic hockey team.
Isabel Brown
Come on in.
Michael Knowles
So I'm sitting just off to the left of the hockey players in that aisle. And truly, the moment in the room was electric, minus the negativity from the press there. They're always going to be horrible people that live in a rotten hole. But even almost every single Democrat politician was standing up and chanting, usa. Usa. Usa. Clapping their hands, which five minutes ago, you would have been criticized for being a racist or an extremist for saying that. But at the very least, we're celebrating American exceptionalism again, which was the theme of the end of the speech, my favorite part.
Ben Shapiro
Americans ventured out across the daunting and dangerous continent. We carved paths through an unforgiving wilderness, settled a boundless frontier, and tamed the beautiful but very, very dangerous Wild West. From empty marshes and wide open plains, we raised up the world's greatest cities. Together we mastered the world's greatest mightiest industries and shattered histories, monstrous tyrannies. And we liberated millions from the chains of fascism, communism, oppression, and Terror. Americans lifted humanity into the skies on the wings of aluminum and steel. And then we launched mankind into the stars on rockets. Powered by sheer American will and unyielding American pride. We wired the globe with our ingenuity. We captivated the planet with American culture. And now we are pioneering the next great American breakthroughs that will change the entire world. All of this and so much more is the enduring legacy and unmatched glory of the hardworking patriots who built and defended this country and who still carry the hopes and freedoms on all of humanity's backs. For years they were forgotten, betrayed and cast aside. But that great betrayal is over and they will never be forgotten again. Because when the world needs courage, daring, vision and inspiration, it is still turning to America. And when God needs a nation to work his miracles, he knows exactly who to ask. There is no challenge Americans cannot overcome. No frontier too vast for us to conquer. No dream too bold for us to chase. No horizon too distant for us to claim. For our destiny is written by the hand of Providence. And these first 250 years were just the beginning. From the rugged border towns of Texas, to the heartland villages of Michigan, from the sun kissed shores of Florida to the endless fields of the Dakotas, and from the historic streets of Philadelphia to right here in our Nation's capital, Washington D.C. the Golden Age of America is upon us. The revolution that began in 1776 has not end, still continues. Because the flame of liberty and independence still burns in the heart of every American patriot. And our future will be bigger, better, brighter, bolder and more glorious than ever before. Thank you, God bless you and God bless America.
Michael Knowles
Okay, I'm like running through the Capitol building because I have to make a live stream and we don't know where to go. So this is fun.
Isabel Brown
I want to make content.
Michael Knowles
Content. Found our way. Michael and I hopped on friendly fire in a beautiful setup we had in the back corner of the speaker's office to round out the night.
Isabel Brown
I want to give you the. Isabelle, I want to give you the last word here because I'll be honest
Ben Shapiro
with you, it's been a really, really
Isabel Brown
long night and I would really, really like to go to sleep now. So you get the last word and then we can all go to bed.
Michael Knowles
You know, I think it's obvious, Ben, more than ever before, that for many in our country, we have been living in two different Americas. Clearly in what we applaud for and what we fight for and against, but also in just our most basic values as Americans. What I saw tonight, sitting in the gallery of the U.S. house of Representatives with half the Supreme Court, the Joint Chiefs, the entire Presidential cabinet, the President and Vice President of the United States, certainly almost every member of Congress, and the most influential Americans from across multiple walks of life, was a clear dichotomy between the United States of America as we have known and loved it for the last 250 years. The greatest society the world has ever known built upon the foundation of our identity as one nation under God and complete Marxist. Total chaos. Anarchy in society that rewards criminals over our citizens, that champions open borders, that refuses to prosecute those who are killing our citizens day in and day out, who champions political violence for your enemies rather than trying to come over our differences to be united in the concept of e pluribus unum. Again, this is not sustainable. As Abraham Lincoln is famous for saying, a house divided cannot stand. But I am hopeful that what we're seeing inside of Washington with this concept of the unity Party is beginning to extend to the rest of the country as well. Most of these issues we talked about this evening were not the economy. Shockingly, they were social issues like transing our kids and some of these conversations we've been having for many years in the E space, but very few people here in Washington have been having. I think that was intentional because these are 9010 issues. These are American issues versus chaos and Marxist issues. And voters have a very clear image moving forward into midterms in 2028 and beyond, what kind of a country we have the chance to save versus the one that's going to come into fruition if we fail to act courageously today. Okay, we're done. It's. What time is it?
Isabel Brown
Time for me to go get a cigar. But it's quarter midnight.
Michael Knowles
Great. So fun. Just wrapped up our Daily Wire livestream and I have a 7am flight to Nashville, so pray for your girl. I also won't be up all night with my daughter. Exciting stuff. All right, go smoke your cigars.
Isabel Brown
I'm going. I'm gonna make content.
Michael Knowles
This was one of the craziest days I've had since moving to D.C. but truly a dream come true and I can't wait for next year.
