No, I don't think you understand. The Democrat Party of jfk, of even Obama or Joe Biden is dying rapidly. Like put him on life support. It's over. Pull the plug. Forget it. Shut it down. Because there has been a movement sweeping over the political left in America for the past decade that now is gaining massive traction for new seats in Congress. The Democratic Socialists of America. Don't ask them to define what a Democratic Socialist actually is, because most of them can't. But despite their confusion around the reality of socialism, the movement itself has a very clear agenda to completely remake the United States of America from the inside out. Right now you hear DSA in America and you think Zoran Mamdani, rightfully so. He's probably the most articulate, media savvy and well known socialist politician on the face of the planet right now, let alone in America. And hot take. I don't think the right is remotely prepared for the impact he's about to have on American politics. Thank God this guy cannot run for President of the United States because if he ran tomorrow he'd probably win. But that's not stopping him from endorsing a whole generation of new politicians running openly as socialists for candidacies in the Democrat Party, namely for positions in Congress. And there are a bunch of Zoran Mamdani associated names that you're probably not familiar with yet, but oh boy, you will be. Take Melot Kiros for example, who just won a very competitive primary in my home state of Colorado beating out a 15 year congressional incumbent, Diana get. And who has previously blamed 911 on America, suggesting we deserved it.
B
Do you believe that the 911 terrorist attacks on America were the inevitable consequence of American foreign policy?
C
Inevitable in the sense that we destabilized a lot of the Middle east that forced people to believe that another act of violence was the only response.
A
Yikes. But who recently shared her ultimate goal in gaining political prowess in America is to keep electing people from the global South, AKA not America, and probably intentionally not white people, in order to build a new world order.
C
I think it's particularly important not just for our community in Tigray, but communities
A
of the Global South.
C
Period.
A
Right.
C
There's a certain reckoning that we are going to have to have with the global world order as it exists today and the way that it fundamentally will have to shift going forward.
D
Right.
C
The responsibility that we have as Americans, the recognition that is going to be required of us of the exploitative and extractive nature that we play on the global scale and the global Stage is only going to be challenged if we are getting represented by people who understand that on a fundamental level from Colorado.
A
And she's not alone. Look at Avila Chevalier, who is a Zoran Mamdani endorsed candidate running for Congress out of New York and who has said it is her hope as a member of Congress to reflect Islam in the halls of Congress.
E
I know that we all deserve a representative who isn't bought by aipac. I'm also the only Muslim in my family. I reverted three years ago actually. The friend who pushed me to do it asked me why have you fasted for four years and yet you haven't? Take your Shahada. She's here today. And when she asked me that I thought that is a great question. And I thought for myself why I hadn't taken the step yet. But it was seeing how all of my friends who were showing up to organizing, who are Muslim, were showing up in the space and the grace and love and passion that they had in these spaces of social justice that really pushed me to join the faith and wanting to make sure that we are reflecting that, that I'm reflecting that in every space that I'm in and that you know, inshallah, if we make it to Congress, that we're reflecting that in the halls of power.
A
Or Claire Valdez, also backed by Zoran Mamdani running for Congress out of New York, whose entire platform is basically a bunch of really catchy slogans that sound really good on an Instagram post but in reality would be detrimental to the country. So are we ready to free Palestine? Are we ready to abolish ice? Are we ready to win Medicare for all, housing for all and unions for all.
E
I know that's right.
A
Is it right though? And you may be thinking to yourself, sure, that sounds really fascinating on paper, but that's just three candidates running for office. There's no way that a movement could ever actually accomplish that in America. Oh boy. Is that just the tip of the iceberg though. When you start poking around on DSA's actual website and find yourself confronting what their true openly stated platform is for remaking our society. Actually let's be honest, burning it down, down from the inside out just because and what they plan to put in place. I'll tell you what, as a parent, one of my biggest concerns is the government completely taking over our healthcare industry because we all know how well that's gone in places like Canada and the uk. And as parents trying to prioritize our kids health, we do everything we can to stay ahead of the problems our kids may face. We buckle car seats correctly, we schedule checkups, we read food labels. We do all of these little things because we would rather catch something early on than have to deal with a huge problem later. And one area that honestly wasn't on my health radar for my kids at all until recently has been airway health and proper jaw development while my baby is still a baby. I bet you didn't know that things like mouth breathing, snoring, speech delays, crooked teeth, teeth grinding, which I still have a problem with as an adult, recurring ear infections, and even some other symptoms that sometimes just get chalked up to poor sleep or ADHD can all be connected to how your child's jaw is developing while they're still little. And that's exactly why Toothpillow caught my attention, why I'm so excited to tell you about it today. ToothPillow is a two year guided airway and jaw development program for kids age 3 through 12 and the first step could not be easier. They offer parents a free virtual assessment for your kids that leads to a free clinical report from one of Toothpillow's dentists. No pressure to buy anything, just information about what's going well or maybe could be going better. I love companies that are empowering parents to take on more of an active role in their kids health instead of just expecting them to figure out everything on their own or spend a gazillion dollars in products they don't really need. So if you've ever wondered as a parent whether your child's sleep, breathing or dental development is on the right track, Toothpillow is a really easy place to start. You guys can check them out by going to toothpillow.com and using promo code Isabelle Trut receive a free video assessment upgrade. The truth is, the Democratic Socialists of America aren't really just about holding hands around the campfire and singing Kumbaya and helping to make everybody rich and take down the billionaires. What they're really about, ironically, while attacking conservatives for destroying democracy, is to dismantle the very foundation of the most effective democratic republic in the history of humankind, the United States. To centralize power into the hands of a very, very few wealthy elite people and ultimately REM America into the closest thing to the Soviet Union or Cuba or North Korea as they possibly can. The official DSA platform includes promoting no more financial bills for anyone. How? I don't know. Nothing costs anything I guess anymore. Creating government run food, housing, medicine, transportation industries and nationalizing all other large corporations and essential industries, AKA the government runs all the means of production which is AKA Communism. The last few times that's been tried in world history has not worked out very well at all. They want to draft a new Constitution for the United States. Can't imagine what could possibly be put in that completely defund the Department of War, provide slavery reparations, offer unlimited free abortion and unlimited gender affirming care for anyone, including minors. Have taxpayers pay off everyone's existing student debt and fund unlimited free higher education for all. Take steps to fully abolish the prison system and systems of policing everywhere nationwide and all deportations 100% of deportations by providing amnesty for all illegal immigrants and allowing for unlimited migration into the United States, effectively saying we don't really have a country or citizenship. And get this. Abolish. Abolish outright the presidency, the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Senate and instead take all of those checks and balances that were brilliantly invented by our founding Fathers and shove them under the United States House of Representatives, which they plan to make a whole lot bigger and give 100% of the control to. Because that will go over incredibly well again, ironically from the same people screaming at you about how you are the one attacking democracy. Of course they also want to abolish the electoral college and replace the two party system with a whole bunch of other parties. End all sanctions to Cuba and Venezuela and Iran, naturally abolish ICE and you know, a whole lot of other things, but basically all coming down to the ultimate foundation of destroying everything that makes the United States of America unique and rebuilding our systems of industry to most closely align with that of the former Soviet Union, Cuba or North Korea, which throughout history have been responsible for an unbelievable number of tragedies on the human race. The USSR was directly responsible for the death of 100 million plus people at the hands of Soviet Communism. In Cuba, still to this day you'll be thrown in prison for freely speaking against the government. And in North Korea, they'll just kill you if you try to escape. Ask my friend Yeonmi park, who did successfully successfully escaped and still watches over her shoulder every day. All these other nutty ideas like unlimited abortion and unlimited free gender transition for kids, unlimited free higher education, abolishing police and prison systems. No country on the face of the planet has ever even attempted, let alone succeeded at any of these things. And yet that doesn't stop the democratic socialists of America from doing everything they can to turn our country into a 20th century Marxist state something that they're bragging about, by the way, not shying away from DSA love child Hasan Piker, who is now one of the most sought after endorsements from these young leftists running for office. You know, the guy who has said, let's let America's streets run red with capitalist blood and called for even more political violence against conservatives in the era of. Charlie Kirk's assassination just recently went incredibly viral for praising Mao Zedong, of all people, as one of the greatest leaders in the history of the world, someone we should emulate.
B
I got stopped by a cop who thought I was like making fun of Mao Zedong, which I never would and never will. Mao Zedong is a. Is a one of the great leaders of this world. Ok? A man who changed the entire universe, the entire planet. For real? For real. Yes. I mean, there was a lot of excesses. Let's be real. But the People's Republic of China would not exist without Mao Zedong.
A
Well, that part is true. But to call one person who is responsible directly for at least 40 million deaths one of the great leaders of this world is an interesting choice, and I'm not making that up. By the way, Mao Zedong was so desperately directly responsible for so many deaths in China that you can actually see it on a chart of global life expectancy. Look at this. As global life expectancy has improved since the early 1900s, there is a noticeable dip right around the 1960 mark. That's directly from communism killing people. But progress, DSA, burn it all down, right? There have been a few people who've been paying attention to the rise of socialism with young people for much longer than the political world has. Heck, I've been working on this alongside people like Charlie Kirk on college campuses for upwards of a decade now. And it's on college campuses that these psycho people are learning these psycho ideas. Which makes it really difficult to figure out if you're looking at where to pursue your higher education, where is even still worth going that you won't be programmed into the next generation of socialists? And that's why I'm so proud to be supported by our friends at Grand Canyon University in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. GCU firmly believes that education is about so much more than just pursuing a piece of paper or a credential. It should be about helping students to discover their purpose, to develop real skills for the workplace and prepare to lead our culture with confidence and character rooted in love of God. Whether you're just starting your college journey, you're finishing your degree degree, or you're preparing for your next chapter after graduation. GCU is so focused on helping you move forward into your next phase of life with purpose, and they're providing a high quality education that's still financially accessible without mandating that the government make it free. GCU has kept their tuition the exact same rate on their traditional campus for the past 17 years, unheard of in higher ed, and in 2025 awarded more than $400 million in institutional scholarships to their students. You can find your purpose at Grand Canyon University, Private Christian affordable nonprofit. Head to GCU Edu to learn more. David Hogg, who you may remember in the wake of the Parkland shooting in Florida skyrocketed into political success and notoriety in the wake of that, and is now the Vice Chair of the dnc. Why, I don't really know, recently led a rally for the DNC and you can hear the response from those in the crowd of the Democrat Party of old, the Obamas and Joe Bidens of the world versus this new class of Democrat Socialists taking over the American left. And hear for yourself the change in response.
F
Do we want do we want a party that is old, rich and out of touch, or do we want a party led by young people like Melot and Zoran? Do we want a party that's led by cowards or a party that's led by truly courageous leaders who, when they are voting, ask themselves, well, which special interest is this going to piss off? Because I really don't want AIPAC to spend a million dollars against me in my primary or for Lockheed Martin to not give me my $5,000 corporate pack check, but instead ask themselves, what is the right thing to do?
A
The irony of claiming that you, as a Democratic Socialist, are free from special interests when it's right in line with the World Economic Forums, you will own nothing and be happy vision board for 2030 and beyond. But I digress. And the craziest part about all of this is that even though these goals are incredibly public, you can look them up for yourself. It's not a secret what the Democratic Socialists of America are actually attempting to do, which is destroy the United States of America and rebuild a Communist Marxist, Leninist state in its place, they're still intentionally misrepresenting what they want to accomplish in the first place, making it sound really fun and exciting and something anyone would want to get on board with. Right? Here's one DSA leader, when asked during a Mandate on the street interview, giving his elevator pitch for why everyone should be a socialist.
D
I know I Saw statistic. Amazing for you guys. More than half of young Americans now prefer socialism over capitalism. So if you can look into the camera and give a 30 second elevator pitch on why socialism is better than capitalism. Community. Are you tired of sitting alone and being by yourself and having no one to talk to? Being socialist. It's all about community. It's about literally sitting down and having coffee with random stranger and talking to them, talking about the game. Hell, I have hugged more strangers than this past summer because of the Knicks game, because of the World cup, because socialism works. It's the watch parties that Zoran hosted. It's about the, the parties that we allow. We don't have cops hogging every single site and saying, oh, you can't be here because there's too many people. Instead of allowing people just being in their nature, a natural element of talking to each other to bond over things we love and share. So that was. Socialism is, and it ain't a scary word. It ain't me taking your house. It's about me making sure your house remains in your hands and some million doesn't take it from you. That's it.
A
World cup watch parties and hugging strangers at Knicks games and just talking to people and sharing joy with people. That's the definition of socialism. The amazing part is you'd think that this was like a comedy bit or something on snl, but this is the actual pitch for socialism that a real DSA leader has been selling to young people door to door to door for the last several years. When it's really just the definition of socializing. Not socialism. Literally just said it's about having someone to talk to, partying and hugging a stranger and bonding over sports. Sports, which by the way, are only competitive if you have an actual free market to allow for competitive sports in the first place. I was today years old when I learned it's actually impossible to have kindness shared between you and a stranger or a hug over your favorite sports team unless you allow the government to seize the means of production for every single industry known to man. News to me, I guess.
F
Yes.
A
So they lie. But why do they lie? Because who in their right mind would here abolish the presidency, Supreme Court and the United States Senate and think that's protecting democracy? Who in their right mind owning a small business would hear, oh, the government needs to provide all of the food, housing, medicine and transportation for our country because they run things so well. I love when I go to the DMV and think that's going to protect my small business. And my ability to provide for my family. Who in their right mind would hear abolish the prison and police systems and think, wow, that's going to take more pedophiles out of my children's community. That's going to protect vulnerable women from being raped in dark alleys in the middle of the night in New York and San Francisco. That sounds like a safe utopian society I desperately want to live in. No one so they're honest on their website, but how they get you to vote for them is to intentionally misrepresent what socialism is in the first place and say it's just about hanging out in community. These people are capitalizing, literally, by the way, ironically, on you being uninformed, uneducated and stupid, motivated by the lowest hanging fruit possible. That sounds really good and super fun and like everyone wants to participate, but in reality will destroy your way of life as you know it. The second that they seize enough political power to do so, do not let them bully you into the bigotry of low expectations, because you're a lot smarter than that. And most of all, please, I beg of you, do not underestimate the ideology, the impact and the communication savvy of someone like Zoran Mamdani. Make no mistake about it, this guy is the new face of the Democrat.

Host: Isabel Brown (The Daily Wire)
Isabel Brown dedicates this episode to examining the rise of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and what she sees as their explicit plan to fundamentally transform—if not dismantle—the United States. Brown analyzes recent political shifts, highlights emerging socialist leaders, critiques the DSA platform, and issues a strong warning to listeners about the scale and impact of this movement, particularly among young Americans.
[00:00 – 01:30]
"The Democrat Party of JFK, even Obama or Joe Biden is dying rapidly... Because there has been a movement sweeping over the political left... the Democratic Socialists of America." – Isabel Brown (00:00)
[01:30 – 05:00]
"Inevitable in the sense that we destabilized a lot of the Middle East that forced people to believe that another act of violence was the only response." – Melot Kiros (01:43)
"There's a certain reckoning that we are going to have to have with the global world order as it exists today... only going to be challenged if we are getting represented by people who understand that on a fundamental level." – Melot Kiros (02:19)
"I know that we all deserve a representative who isn't bought by AIPAC... and that we're reflecting [Islam] in the halls of power." – Avila Chevalier (03:03)
[05:00 – 09:45]
Brown dives into DSA's “openly stated platform,” which she summarizes as:
"Centralize power into the hands of a very, very few wealthy elite people and ultimately REM America into the closest thing to the Soviet Union or Cuba or North Korea as they possibly can." – Isabel Brown (06:30)
Brown expresses alarm at these proposals, repeatedly drawing historical analogies to Cuba, North Korea, and the USSR:
"The USSR was directly responsible for the death of 100 million plus people at the hands of Soviet Communism." (08:45)
[09:45 – 11:20]
Isabel criticizes influencers like Hasan Piker for “bragging about” socialist goals and for making incendiary statements (e.g., praising Mao Zedong).
"Let’s let America's streets run red with capitalist blood ... praising Mao Zedong, of all people, as one of the greatest leaders..." (09:45) "Mao Zedong is a one of the great leaders of this world... There was a lot of excesses, let’s be real. But the People's Republic of China would not exist without Mao Zedong." – Hasan Piker (10:55)
Isabel provides historical context—emphasizing the tens of millions who died under Mao—and presents this as a cautionary lesson.
[11:20 – 16:50]
Brown underscores socialism’s popularity on college campuses; fears they serve as “programming” grounds for socialist ideology.
David Hogg, former Parkland activist and now DNC Vice Chair, is cited as emblematic of this generational shift.
"Do we want a party led by young people like Melot and Zoran?... truly courageous leaders." – David Hogg (13:49)
Isabel argues Democratic Socialists market themselves as “free from special interests,” while aligning with World Economic Forum ideals.
[15:15 – 17:10]
Brown features a DSA leader’s lighthearted “elevator pitch” for socialism:
"It's about literally sitting down and having coffee with random stranger... I have hugged more strangers than this past summer because of the Knicks game... That's it." – DSA Leader (15:45)
Isabel ridicules this, claiming it deliberately misleads voters:
"The actual pitch for socialism... is literally just the definition of socializing. Not socialism." (16:14)
Brown sees this as strategic deception to attract unengaged or uninformed young voters.
[17:10 – End]
On Democratic Party Shift:
“Put him on life support. It’s over. Pull the plug. Forget it. Shut it down.” – Isabel Brown (00:01)
On Zoran Mamdani’s Influence:
“If he ran tomorrow, he'd probably win.” – Isabel Brown (00:35)
On the DSA platform:
"The official DSA platform includes promoting no more financial bills for anyone. How? I don't know. Nothing costs anything I guess anymore." – Isabel Brown (06:10)
On Socialist Pitch:
"It's about me making sure your house remains in your hands and some million doesn't take it from you." – DSA Leader (15:57)
On World Historical Lessons:
"In Cuba, still to this day you’ll be thrown in prison for freely speaking against the government. In North Korea, they’ll just kill you if you try to escape." – Isabel Brown (08:55)
Tone & Style:
Isabel Brown is assertive, direct, and combative in her tone, blending alarm, sarcasm, and urgency throughout. The episode is constructed as a warning, using examples, quotes, and platforms from real candidates to bolster Brown’s points about the scope and speed of socialist influence in contemporary American politics.
Value for Listeners:
For those who have not listened, this episode provides a pointed overview of why Brown believes the DSA represents a existential threat to American democratic and economic institutions, illustrating her argument with recent political developments, direct quotations, historical analogies, and an impassioned call for vigilance and critical thinking.
