Okay. Hey, guys, just want to let you know this. We're on. It's game on. No, King is on. I'm in D.C. walking downstream street right now. D.C. police fabric. And we can see right now he's going to pepe with the crowd. And this is a march that is taking place down 14th Street. It's going to head down towards the Capitol. That's where everybody's gonna be gathering. It's sort of third in Pennsylvania, if you guys are familiar with BC Sort of down, by gosh, the Canadian Embassy, National Gallery, Walton crayon still trying to get down there. That's about where the big crowd is going to be. But it's already getting lively out here. And I just want to warn everybody, you know, this is going to be one of those days where, I think, you know, the police, the authorities are going to be out in the Hill. And I was thinking about this this morning, that they've been itching for a spark. They've been itching for a confrontation. And so if you're explaining that to a process either in D.C. or anywhere around the country, remember, peaceful nonviolence protesting is something that the powers that be have always just, like, through the year. And so my strong recommendation is to employ that strategy throughout no Kings Day, wherever you're going to be across the country. Just to give you a little flavor of what we're hearing in the crowd so far. We're on substack, and you're used to my show and my salty language from time to time. We've already heard Fuck Stephen Miller. That is already a chant we've heard so far from the crowd. But this is basically the march to the no Kings protest, the march to the no Kings rally that's going to be taking place down in the National Mall. But you can see it's already getting started. Folks across the country, people are showing up in force to say they're not going to take this anymore. They're not going to take the President of the United States acting like a dictator, deploying ice into places like Chicago, roughing up migrants, roughing up U.S. citizens, abusing their authority and so on. And so, you know, we're going to be out here with the crowds all day long today. And just a programming note, don't want to forget this. I buried the lead a little bit. But in about a half hour, 45 minutes from now, we're going to be live On My Substack, YouTube, Don Lemons Substack and YouTube, all his channels, and Joy Reid's going to be live on all of her channels as well. We're going to do a combined coverage like we did last time around for no Kings. And you can see the people here, D.C. are applauding as the protest, as the march is heading down 14th Street. So, yeah, so I'm going to hop off of this in just a little bit, but I want to make sure everybody is, you know, ready to go. If you're, if you're not into a march, if you're not into examination or even if you are, put us on, click the subscribe buttons and like, buttons and so on. And then head, head out the door, you can just leave the laptop on or the phone on and head down to your local march or protest. But in the meantime, I mean, this is, this is what America is all about. It's all about people power. It's all about rising up against oppression. And that's what we're seeing right now. You can see the signs. Some of them, you know, are pretty, you know, pretty straightforward. Some of them say fuck Trump. This one says impeach Trump right here. And lots, of course, no King signs in the crowd. Freedom not fascism and so on. But this is going to be. And there's a big, big sign in the back of the march here that says, we the people. Nice. With a sign that says, I am not a domestic terrorist. You heard, you know, Mike Johnson saying this is a hate America rally. I mean, first of all, shame on Mike Johnson. This is not a Hate America rally. This is a Love America rallies. And hey, there's, there's jolly right there. Jolly. What's up, buddy? The Costa. What's up, brother? How you doing? Here we are, man. You're going to be all over this, huh? Good. All right, sounds good. See you down there. All right. There's jolly. So you can see all the, all the players are getting on the field right now. And this is kind of the pregame. Just wanted to give everybody a warm up. I'm warming up my, my one liners, you know, I can't use them all at once. We're on the lookout for any frogs, any unicorns, you know, that kind of thing. Hopefully somebody suggested to me I should drop a dress up as a frog or uniform. I don't do costumes, folks. I don't do costumes. Not until Halloween. But listen, the spirit. And getting back to the Mike Johnson paid America bill, I mean, the spirit of this rally, the spirit of low Kings, is how much we love our country. We don't want to see it descend into A dictatorship or a monarchy. And I think Donald Trump is on to. I think Donald Trump is on to, you know, that he's got a political problem here. He left D.C. went down to Mar a Lago. The king went down to his throne in Mar a Lago, and he didn't want to hear all of this stuff. When I was covering him the first time around, I can tell you point blank, the thing that he hated the most was that there were protests right after he got inaugurated on January 20, back in 2017. And so this is the kind of stuff that really gets under his skin. And that's part of what needs to happen here. People need to be loud, they need to be boisterous, will need to be peaceful, need to be non violent. And don't give them any excuse. Don't give them that spark. They're itching for a spark. Don't give it to them. This is the thing that irritates them the most. Disdain, Resolve. Peaceful, nonviolent protesting. What America is all about, loving your country is all about. And it's what no Kings is all about. So, guys, I'll see you in just a little bit. I'm gonna head down to the mall and we're gonna continue to follow this crowd. If anything happens, we'll jump back in. But again, our combined live coverage. John Lemon, Joy Reed, myself, past of thousands, we're all gonna be getting together very soon. Go to all of our channels, whether it's on substacks or UK or wherever. You. You watch their stuff. We'll be there very shortly. For the next several hours, we'll be down here in D.C. all over the country for no kings part two. All right, I'll see you guys soon. And then we just hit end it.
