When the story is too big for one voice, they assemble. This is a special report.
B
That's right, assemble. Hello, guys. Welcome to another edition. I'm calling it the the Crew, but we can workshop this. It's not a. It's not a done deal.
A
I was thinking, I called it the Foursome.
C
It's a conscious quadrupling.
B
It is. We could do that.
D
I got nothing.
B
You got. I was. I was thinking about doing it in my Baba Wawa voice. I call it the Quu, Something like that, you know, Baba Wawa. And when she did that, I call it the View. But anyway, great to see Katie Fang. Watch out. Ali and Joy Reed all joining us. We're combined our forces here to unleash our fury on the American public and anybody else watching around the world who are just as disgusted as we are with what's happening in D.C. these days. But, I mean, where do we start, guys? I mean, I kind of feel like the judge blocking the weaponization fund. We got Pam Bondi throwing Todd Blanche under the bus during this hearing earlier today. Joy, I'll just go counterclockwise here. Your thoughts? I mean, the judge blocking the fund is kind of a huge deal. Temporarily, I guess.
D
Well, you know, as somebody that recently just launched a site called Run me my Slush money dot com. Because I figure if they're giving out reparations. Hello, I'm black. And also everybody else who's been attacked by the federal government. Hello, Jim Acosta. And also Katie Fang. I think you've got a lawsuit going. I. Look, I'm like, we've all been harmed by the federal government at this point. I think they should just share it out among us all. Everybody except insurrectionists. I think we need to have an Article 3 14th Amendment moment. Everybody gets reparations. Unless you are an insurrectionist, and then you get nothing. You get zero zip. That should be the rule. But good. God bless this judge who has at least halted and paused this payout that they very cynically labeled 1776, $1,776,000,000. Because the implication is, if you sacked the Capitol and took a dump in our nation's capital and shattered the windows and stole stuff from Nancy Pelosi's office, clearly you are a patriot because you did it for Trump. And I don't know which is worse between that the Scott Besant the simp who is literally begging Congress to let them break the law and put Donald Trump's ugly face on a $250 bill, which is illegal because he's not Dead. Unless, of course, you know, and I do call him the Make a Wish president. Did he already pass into the hereafter? Because only a dead person of merit can be on the money. But they're saying we can make an exception. It's Trump, guys. So between that, the giant arch that would actually obscure the view of our nation's war dead, if this monstrosity built in the Capitol, we're turning into North Korea, and nobody actually even got a vote in the new nomenclature for America. So I don't know where to begin. Jim, those are great places to one of the horrors.
B
Yeah. Katie, are you seeking $8.647 million in your can I. Can I use those numbers? Is that allowed?
C
You are allowed to use those numbers, and I would be happy to seek that. First of all, when Jim sent that image of Scott Besant in our chat, I thought that was AI because I was like, there's no way that that is how Scott Besant would contort his ugly face to be able to do it. And yet it's not. That is real people. That is not artificial intelligence. I will say this. Order. First of all, the judge is a badass. She's 81 years old. She's a Clinton appointee, and she was like, peace out. This ish is not happening on my watch. And what she's done, which I think is great, is she's actually said to the Trump administration, not only can you not disperse the funds, but you have to stop any operation creation, consideration of funds, any submission of claims, any transfer, and any disbursement. So she shut it all down every step of the way in this process, which is great because it should have been done. And look, this is not the only litigation that is going against this, what I call theft of American taxpayer money. There's also the motion that got filed yesterday in the IRS lawsuit that was the genesis of this bullshit settlement by those 35 former federal judges that are bipartisan, Republican and Democratic appointees. And they're telling that judge, hey, Kathleen Williams, you can reopen this case and you can investigate whether fraud was perpetrated on the court to create this slush fund. And so there's a world of hurt that is happening right now when it comes to the slush fund.
B
Yeah. And watch. Have you. Have you put in your claim yet? Is that. Is that happening yet? You could use another Millennium Falcon behind you.
A
I. I just want $2 and 50 cents. Forget the 250 bill. If someone could just give me $2.50 so I can buy Half an ice cream for my child. Because even the ice cream man, due to inflation, can't sell ice cream for less than five bucks. But hello, ethnic Brady Bunch. Hopefully we'll get together for Sunday.
C
That's who we are.
A
We're the ebb.
C
We're the good one.
A
Yeah. But I do want to say, I want to, because I know that we live in the seventh circle of hell and there's so much terrible news. I want to just give a few examples of good news because we have to take the small victories. So the first one is where this judge is, slaps down this egregious terrorist slush fund. I think we should call for what is. It's a terrorist slush fund. $1.8 billion of our taxpayer dollars for Donald Trump to dole out to his friends and these violent insurrectionist people who, some of them have violent criminal records. I'm talking about child molesters, I'm talking about neo Nazis. I'm talking about some people who came with the intention of killing Mike Pence. So if you're sitting right now and you're like, I'm white, I'm Republican, I'm a rich person of color, I nothing will happen to me. You ain't Mike Pence. No. Ain't no one more conservative, white and right wing than Mike Pence. And even Mike Pence was running for his life. So that's number one. And the fact that many Republican. Jim balked at this. This was so egregious that many Republicans made their displeasure well known publicly. So that's one loss. Another loss. This came out a, about an hour ago. I think we have to mention it because we have to take the wins. An ICE agent was finally charged in a Minnesota shooting. He is arrested in Texas. Finally. So that happened an hour ago. The New York Times, just for which one?
C
Because there's two of them. Two of them got charged?
A
Yeah, I think not the one who pulled out his gun. This is Christian Castro, who had been charged with assault.
C
He's the one who shot through the door. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
So there's, yeah, there's two people who have been charged. One of them who literally put out his gun and said, move out of the road. And the lady, the guy's like, oh, my God. I just, you know, I, I just cut you off because you were going slow. That person's charged. This person just got arrested. South Carolina Republicans are like, Donald Trump, you're racist as hell. Gerrymandered maps. Nah. And then finally, I will say the I mean, we know the Supreme Court's going to come in and bum rush this racist as hell Alabama map. But as for now, the federal courts have said Alabama, this is so egregiously racist that, no, you can't go along with those maps. And finally, just to finish off with the 5, the poll numbers have come out. I don't know if you've seen the poll numbers. Donald Trump has lost 66 points with young men under 30. Jim. Wow, 66 points.
B
Yeah, well, and I will tell you, and just so to button up what wa was saying, this New York Times story that just came out, we should note that this is not an arrest in either the killings of Renee Good or Alex Preddy. And they are still trying to evade any kind of justice in that regard or accountability. And it's absolutely outrageous. But no, I mean, to your point on the poll numbers, I will say it's a perfect segue to the fact that all of these artists are dropping out of the 250th birthday of the United States of America. I don't know. Do we have. I think they, they've got a late addition to the lineup. I'm just kidding. This is a meme. But we can show it. Apparently, Marco Rubio has been. He is now part of the lineup for the 250th anniversary. Guys, if we can show that it's. I, I believe he's going to be performing under the name Vanilla Rubio. There he is right there.
D
He should be Vanilli because, like, Milli Vanilli, one of them, unfortunately passed away many, many years ago. And so there's just like the Millie. They need a Vanilli. I feel like he could be Vanilli
B
and then he's impersonating a secretary of state, so that's absolutely appropriate.
D
And he has all the jobs, like, added to his work list. Like, he should perform. I mean, first of all, it is hilarious. Bret Michaels, I think, has already dropped out.
B
He's dropped out.
D
Was like, not for me, dog. No, but it's like, did you notice the lineup were all like early 90s or late 80s adjacent? I'm like, they had no one pass Vanilla Ice at this point. And it's so embarrassing. And some of these are great. I mean, the Commodores, but like, not the original Commodore. It's like the reboot of the Commodores. They couldn't. So the, the list was already interesting. But you know what? Y' all enjoy Vanilla Ice out there. You know, that's. Who's gonna. He's gonna sing the one song. He's got the one song.
B
That's it. That's Ice Ice, baby. And. But Flo Rida, Come on. I mean,
C
Vanilla Ice for the Ice part of it.
A
Oh,
B
Ice out, baby.
C
Oh, it's an homage to Ice and cbp. Is that what you're saying?
A
You know what, though? I do think we should not underestimate the power of Flow Rider and Apple Bottom Jeans. So as long as he doesn't sing low because this. Told you. I knew it. Because Katie, like, my wife's a Florida girl.
B
Look at them.
A
Like, Jim, you just saw that in real time. No matter what, if there's a Florida girl in the 40s.
C
Wait, we just honored Flo Rider? The. I want to be clear, the Florida Dems, we just honored him like a couple of months ago. So I don't understand what is going on. I want my award back from Flo Rider if he's going to be doing this shit, because this is. We don't play both sides of that.
B
Yeah, I'm not happy with flow right now, but I, I am proud of all the other artists who have dropped out. And it just goes to show you. And, and this plays off what you were saying earlier about all of the young guys under, under, what is it, age 30 or who are bolting from Donald Trump. I mean, I wonder if they're even going to fill this cage match arena that they're building on the south lawn of the White House. I mean, that thing is a monstrosity, Katie. I, you know, I, I covered this place for almost eight years. And, you know, I remember walking through the gates when I would go to work and thinking, wow, I'm going to work in the West Wing, like the TV show with Martin Sheen, everything. And now it is just like the Beverly Hillbillies. I mean, people have been posting memes of like the, you know, the, the, the beast, the presidential limo up on cinder blocks. I mean, that's basically what the White House is being turned into right now.
C
Yeah. You know, the other one I really like is when my, my daughter, who's now 11, had that plate mat where like you lie down and it had like the arches, like going over with like the different models and stuff like that were, that were hanging down. Here's the thing. This is not a knock on ufc. And listen, and I, and, and I don't want anybody to think that's the case, but UFC has no business being at the White House, end of story.
A
Right? That's right.
C
It's. I would say the same thing about wwe. What? Like, you know, it's like, why don't you slap a nascar, like, lap, you know, in front of the White House? Like, it doesn't have to be there. It can be anywhere, right? It doesn't have to be there. And I think it just underscores how absolutely trashy Trump is. I mean, he's gaudy, he has horrible taste, and yet he wants to force this on Americans. And the thing is, it's not going to appeal to all. It's literally just what he wants to be able to do there. But it fits, right with his destruction of the integrity and the tradition of the White House. You know, I mean, look at a roller coaster in front of the White House, and he's destroying everything to make this billion dollar ballroom bunker so that he can park his ass there and not leave, like, a panic room when he loses. He will not leave in January of 2029. I mean, it is so obvious he's only doing this for himself. And then, Waj, you just told us before we went live, he bought Stock in what?
A
UFC. According to the Huffington Post, about 10 minutes ago, Trump bought stock. I'll read it right now. The headline, trump bought stock in UFC's company. As he promoted the White House fight. The president purchased as much as $50,000 of TKO Group holdings, even as he heavily promotes a UFC event for his 80th birthday.
B
And he's been doing this over and over again. He buys these stocks and then he pumps them up later. It is Joy. This is just outright corruption. I mean, yes, it does look like the Magic kingdom on Crystal Mass in the backyard of the White House. There's. But, I mean, there's a serious side to this, which is he. It's just out in the open, totally crazy corruption right before our eyes. Oh, we lost. Joy.
C
I can't hear you, Joy.
A
Oh, it's a conspiracy.
D
There you go. I got to make the technology work. No, the. The thing that's about Donald Trump that I think, and the reason I do call him the Make a Wish President, is that he's using the presidency to achieve all of the dreams he could not achieve based on merit, based on the career he actually chose being a real estate developer. So now that he has the presidency behind him, he can become a billionaire, which he has done six times over. He can make his children into multi, multi hundred millionaires, which they never would have been able to do on their own steam because Uday and Kusay are morons, and they marry a billionaire like the two daughters could. And he's able to, you know, give his wife a, a gift of a 40 million dollar documentary no one would have ever, ever greenlit if it weren't, you know, that she wasn't married to him and buy off her silence as well. So we never get to find out how well she may have known Jeffrey Epstein or not. And now what he's doing is he's constructing a North Korea style monument to himself that he intends to be permanent. You've got the big signs of Donald Trump glowering at you if you go down to D.C. where they're everywhere like he's Kim Jong Un. And then you've got the giant monument, you've got his, his image on the currency. You've got a gold coin he wants to mint for himself. That Scott Best is like, yesa, I'll do it. Whatever you need, sir, I got you. He's like an old slave from a movie and, you know, house servant only because of course, right. And, and, and literally he's causing the entire birthday of the United States, the 250th anniversary he intends to be an homage to Donald Trump. And the irony of it is Scott Besson and other people who definitely know better are allowing Donald Trump to turn the birthday and the anniversary of the United States leaving the United Kingdom the King of England and using that occasion to turn Donald Trump into an American version of a monarch. This is old European monarch shit. And the fact that he's reconstructed all of D.C. he means for when you drive through D.C. 20 years from now, all you will think about is Donald Trump. All you will see are the things Donald Trump made. You will not see Jackie Kennedy's garden. You will not see the East Wing as we all knew it. All you'll see are the gaudy, tacky monuments to Donald Trump himself. And that's what he intends. He wants the whole country to essentially be the United States of Trump.
C
Tear it down. Berlin Wall. Tear it down.
B
All that coming down.
D
Blow it up.
A
We will bring it down. And can I say one more thing? Going back, not just to the Kings. If you look at that ufc, and if we can bring up that photo for one more second, if I can spend just 30 seconds on it, why it's even more disturbing. In addition to desecration, in addition to the self dealing, in addition to the fact that UFC is an in kind donation to the, to the Trump administration, always has been, is this is what the Roman emperors used to do with the gladiators. This is the Coliseum and so now you have these young men. You know, I was talking to Danielle about this. You've talked to young people. What do young people say? I'm going to make my money being an influencer. How about college? Why would I go to college? I'm going to make my money selling Pokemon cards. I'm going to make that money. I'll be that one person who makes money on DraftKings. I'll be the one person who goes to UFC and trains and fights. Everyone's a Slumdog millionaire. Here's the modern coliseum right now, the UFC ring. Literally on the front lawn of our people's house. Our house. Our taxpayer dollars being spent for a spectacle for the entertainment of a decaying 80 year old vulgarian. Who realizes that this is my base. My base likes blood. My base likes it when the, the I unleash the tigers and the tigers eat the warriors. Fantastic. And I'm sure he'll just sit there and if he can still lift up his hand and thumb, well, it's all modeled and bruised. Maybe two years from now, he'll just do this. He goes, and then he'll throw Republicans in. There he goes. Thomas Massie, fight Mike Pence. Here's a lion, here's some alligators. Good luck. Let's put it on pay per view. Make money off it.
D
Don't give him any ideas. Watch. He would totally do that. I mean, he really would. And if the next, the next Democratic presidential nominee does not promise to deconstruct all of this, to literally stick a, put a stick of dynamite under everything he's built and bring it all to the ground, it all has to be leveled and restored to what Washington was. And if I will not vote for a Democratic candidate who does not promise
B
to do that, well, maybe they can call these cage matches the pet Olympic Games. Because, you know, Katie, there was a little hearing up on Capitol Hill today, or Pam Bondi, I guess was. She was speaking to some lawmakers behind closed doors. I mean, this is an administration that has been covering up for pedophiles, shielding pedophiles from prosecution. Pam. Bonnie, the former Attorney General was part of that. Now Todd Blanche is part of it. Do we know what happened at this. It sounds as though she kind of threw her successor under the bus. Is that sort of what happened there?
C
Yeah. So here's the ridiculousness about what's going on right now up in front of House Oversight. None of us know what's happening other than the people in House Oversight, because it's happening behind Closed doors. So instead of having it be public to the American people so they can gauge her credibility with the way that she evades answering questions, we. We don't get to see any of it. And this is because of James Comer and James Comer only. He's letting her show up for something called a transcribed interview. She was subpoenaed for a deposition which is under oath, and it's sworn testimony. And you can only object on very limited grounds. A transcribed interview is a whole other ball game. In a transcribed interview, it's not under oath. Comer said he's not allowing it to be videotaped, so none of us will be able to see. See it. He'll release a transcription later. But because it's not a deposition, she can also decide, I don't feel like answering that question. And there's no enforceability behind making her do it versus a deposition. So all of this is performative. There is nothing of value. And the reason why we know she's throwing Blanche under the bus is because she released a opening statement. Statement publicly. But here's the thing. I found out that she did not release it in a way that the House oversight Democrats were able to read it. So she gave it to mainstream media. She made sure the Republicans had it, but she didn't let the Dems get it. And here's the thing. In her opening statement, she said, quote, to the best of my knowledge, the department produced everything required under the Epstein Files Transparency act. As the head of a large department with broad responsibilities, I did not lead every aspect of this effort or conduct or conduct that document review myself. I delegated oversight over this process to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch.
B
Oh, boy.
A
There it is. I love it.
C
You hear it? The beep, beep, beep. That's the sound of the big dump truck going backwards and running over his ass.
D
Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it.
C
Wheels on the bus go round and forward and backwards. What is that? Road. What's that? Road bump. What's that? Speed bump. And so what we're gonna get. Oh, and then Harmeet Dylan, the acting assistant acting Attorney General for civil rights girl, her ass has rolled up as her lawyer, which violates DOJ policy and all sorts of. Oh, yeah. Joy Harmeet is not contented just, you know, disenfranchising all. All the communities of color and just helping the white folk. She's decided that she's got to help her buddy Pam Bonnie, who doesn't even work for the Department of Justice anymore. It's this type of shit that drives me nuts as a lawyer because there's a process here where you force Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton to appear for a sworn Depot videotape under oath. But when it comes to Pam Bondi, who knows where the bodies are buried.
A
Yes. Yeah, sh.
C
She doesn't have to actually do the same. She doesn't have to jump through the same hoops. It's this just double standard that we need to get rid of, which is why we have to win in November and we have to be in the majority so that our version of oversight reveals all of this and then some because people like James Comer need to be dog walked about this type of shit 100%.
A
Can I just. This came out two hours ago on the artist formerly known as Ms. NBC as Joy calls it. Ms. Now, a former DOJ official, Anthony Coley said that Pam Bondi held a meeting inside the White House situation room, the White House situation room to pressure Republican lawmakers against supporting the Epstein files discharge petition. I just want to mention that because as she's throwing Blanche under the bus, according to this former DOJ official, Anthony Coley, he said that his name is behind it, that. No, no, no. She brought us in the Situation room, which is, you know, I don't know where you decide life and death issues War. Right. She says, oh, this is a situation where we have to protect our potentially alleged pedophile president who's mentioned more in the Epstein files than even Jeffrey Epstein. And she pressured them to protect and engage in the COVID up. So this is why I just want to drag Pam Bondi. She's throwing Todd Blanche under the bus, but we got to throw her under the cement mixer as well.
D
Joy, can I just say that I think it gets lost and I don't know if mainstream media has even used these words, but Donald Trump was accused by a woman who says at 13 or 14 years old she was sexually abused by him.
A
Yeah.
D
And she was interviewed by the FBI not once, not twice, but four times. That is unusual. I'm not a law enforcement officer. Katie is the lawyer here. But it seems unusual. If there's nothing to it, I go back to 2010 when Jeffrey Epstein gave a deposition. This is before Donald Trump was in politics. And he was asked point blank, have you ever been in the same room with Donald Trump and underaged girls? And he took the fifth. He would not answer that question. This was not about the president of the United States or even a presidential candidate. Donald Trump was just a guy on TV and He still wouldn't answer that question. There are open questions about Donald Trump and underaged girls and Jeffrey Epstein, which we don't know the answers to. And the person who was in the best position to find that out not once but twice was Pamela Joe Bondi, because she was the Attorney General of the state of Florida where Donald Trump resides and where Jeffrey Epstein resided. And she was then the, the head of the Department of Justice, alleged leader of the Department of Justice and said she had the files on her desk and then all of a sudden she didn't.
B
Yeah. And Katie go. I mean Katie, you've been filing, I mean you filed a lawsuit in this, you filed legal action in this to get to the bottom of this. And we all applaud Katie for that. But I mean, you make a great point about Joy. Made great points. Watched it too. But I mean, Bill and Hillary Clinton are hauled in to testify, but not Donald and Melania Trump. I mean, I'm sorry, but like when the Democrats take over oversight, that needs to be the first thing that gets, you know, sent over to the White House by the House Oversight Committee, I guess, under Robert Garcia's leadership.
C
So, Joy, may I, may I address your issue that you just raised, please, ma'?
D
Am?
C
Well, I'm going to Refer to page 27 of my 37 page motion for preliminary injunction that I just filed today in my lawsuit against Todd Blanche. And number three of the five areas that I am asking the federal judge in my lawsuit, I'm asking them to hurry up. I'm psych. Hurry up. This is my preliminary injunction. There are five areas that are egregious on their face, blatant violations of the Epstein files Transparency act. And time is of the essence to fix these things. I don't want to wait till the end result of my case. I'm allowed to come early. And so the judge has breaking news entered an order setting for hearing on June 16, my motion for preliminary injunction. They are saying the DOJ must respond by June 5th. 5th. Which is next week, Friday.
A
Great.
C
And then we can reply to what they say by June 8th for this hearing on June 16th. But Joy, number three of my preliminary injunction motion blanch has violated the act by improperly withholding materials implicating Donald Trump. And it references the four FBI interviews that were done of the victim of Donald Trump who is alleged that she was sexually assaulted and physically abused by him when she was 13 years old. And those 302s as they are called, those FBI interviews of the four different times they spoke with this girl. Those were eventually released. One came out in December of 2025. The other three only came out after there was a big fuss by media saying where are they? But what we have noticed is the federal government turned over the interview notes by the FBI to Ghislaine Maxwell's defense team back in 2021. And yet where is it in the Epstein files? Why aren't you turning over those interview notes to the American people? Why aren't you turning them over to Katie Fang so I can find out more information? So that's one of the five areas that I have told this judge. Please, sir, I'd like to be able to get this information sooner than later. And that will be a part of what is heard on June 16th in my preliminary injunction motion.
D
Can I just say really quickly before I throw it back to y' all and the question I would add to that and congratulations and kudos to our wonderful Katie Fang, who was taking aggressive individual action to try to force this. Some clarity for these victims. But what would be so dangerous that Pam Bondi would feel she needed to be in the room in which we plan wars? What is so dangerous in those files to Donald Trump or to the presidency that it had to be suppressed? And I think we have to think about it. Knowing Jeffrey Epstein is something we've all known about for a long time. The fact that Donald Trump was friends with Jeffrey Epstein, that doesn't seem like it's egregious enough. The fact that he's mentioned more times than Jesus was in the Bible. It's bad. But is that so dangerous? And the only things that one could think about that could really endanger Trump is that either he or people close to him or others in the administration actually engaged in the kind of conduct Jeffrey Epstein did. That's the only thing I could think of that Pam Bondi thinking like a Pam Bondi would find so dangerous if it became public and if it became known to the public. And she, because she was acting as sort of as his campaign surrogate, was trying to derail something bad, like something really bad. And you know what's really bad? Sexually abusing a 13 year old child. And if that happened, the American people have a right to know that that is what their president engaged in.
A
Well, Jim, can I really quickly say why this is so important? And I'm glad we're. Because people forget. But I've said this and it's no longer just me saying it. Ro Khanna admitted it. Hillary Clinton said it. You had Democrats say it this is the biggest political cover up in modern history.
D
Yes.
A
And the person behind this cover up was the former Attorney General, Pam Bondi. Because I want to remind people, last year, last April, Pam Bondi, according to the Wall Street Journal, told Donald Trump that his name was all over the Epstein files. Donald Trump then lied to the American public. He was asked, I believe by a CBS reporter, is your name in the. He goes, no, the name's not there. I'm perfectly fine, I'm cleared. And then we also found out that Pam Bondi instructed FBI agents to work 48 hour shifts to, oh, I don't know, not investigate, not find out who's part of this Epstein class, but to stay pretty much locked up, holed up in a room where they combed the Epstein files. And they had one job is to remove Donald Trump's name from the Epstein files. Then we saw Todd Blanche, folks, just, I tried to bring the receipts. Maureen Comey is the prosecutor. Maureen Comey should go and talk to Glenn Maxwell. What happened? Maureen Comey gets fired. A week later, Todd Blanche, as Assistant attorney general leaves D.C. the assistant attorney general never leaves D.C. goes to Florida, talks to Glenn Maxwell for two days. Less than a week later, Glenn Maxwell gets a once in a lifetime transfer that nobody with her felony ever gets. And now she's in Club Fed, as we say in Texas, getting pampered. And who's the person who directed the head of Bureau of Prisons to give her a once in a lifetime of remarkable magical transfer? Ghislaine Maxwell. And both times Donald Trump has been asked on camera, do you, are you going to pardon Glenn Maxwell? He hasn't said no. And then most recently, I think was last month, you heard House Republicans say, you know, we might be open to pardoning Glenn Maxwell if she could provide us information. Jim. Katie Joy, this is a cover up and she's behind it and she cannot run away from it. I will not let her. I will not let, I will let Pam Bondi throw Todd Blanchard on the bus and then I'm going to push her into the cement mixer myself. Figuratively.
B
Well, I'm starting to think that's why Trump wanted the Qatari plane so much as a getaway car for when he leaves office. It might not be parked at the museum and library. It might be flown to another country.
D
Think about it. The national security implications of black mailable information that foreign governments could use against Donald Trump, knowing that Israel likely did use blackmail information against Bill Clinton, attempting to coerce him to conduct warlike policies that they wanted they didn't. And also to get a spy who had helped Israel get nuclear information that was not. That they were not entitled to. They wanted him released. Jonathan Pollard, who's now running for the Knesset, I believe in Israel. And so you, you know that this is something they do. And we also know Jeffrey Epstein had national security ties. Apparently there was this language of he belongs to national security. And so the question becomes, as we are in a war with Iran that no previous president was willing to do, but that Bibi Netanyahu has been goading presidents to do for 30 years. We need to know if the President of the United States is blackmailable by a foreign government that wants us to use our troops, our munitions, waste our precious lives and our precious money and our munitions in a war with Iran that they want and we don't want, and it is not in our interest. We need to know if Donald Trump is blackmailable. It's important.
C
Wait.
B
Yeah.
C
And I would like to know, Joy, did you. You must have been writing my preliminary injunction motion. The fourth area of the five is the fact that Todd Blanche refused to translate documents in foreign languages. He claimed that it was not practicable to do so. And as a result, we've never seen any documents that were in foreign languages and they have not been released. But we know that Epstein ran an international sex trafficking ring. And compromise is by definition a foreign word. But compromat is not just in English. Compromat compromised could be in any language. So why in the actual hell are we hiding that information from the American people as well? And shielding co conspirators and other perpetrators of horrific sex crimes against children? Why? Because maybe if they're exposed, they can drop a dime on people like Trump and others. So it's all part and parcel of what WAG speaks of. And somebody. Jim, refresh my recollection here, but situation room, you can't bring in electronic devices, right? You can't bring in stuff that could transfer classified or other national security information that could be poached by people that could spy and all this other stuff, right?
B
Well, yeah, in theory, yes, but I mean, they have proven that anything goes with this administration. So I mean, they could be, you know, just recording on their iPhones in their, for all we know right now and having it, you know, transcribed by ChatGPT. But I think this is signal chats and so on. Exactly. This is a big reason why Donald Trump and his people are so deathly afraid of these midterms. This just came out that Louisiana Republicans have approved a New congressional map eliminating one of the state's two majority black districts and drawing an additional Republican leaning district in its place. Joy, this has been nonstop. This has been going on non stop for months now. They are so petrified of what's going to happen in these upcoming midterms that they will do anything by hook or by crook to avoid Donald Trump getting his comeuppance with the Democrats taking over in the Congress.
D
Yeah, and their default is always to go after black people and black people's rights to vote. Their default. They're racist pieces of shit. But, but just before I pivot to that real quick, I just want to say one last thing about this Epstein thing and the use of the situation to the point you were just making, Jim. Remember, Donald Trump brought Lauren Boebert and I believe, Marjorie Taylor Greene into the Situation Room to try to pressure them to vote against the Thomas Massey Ro Khanna discharge petition. So again, they're treating the Epstein files as a national security threat and he ordered MAGA base to stop talking about it or they couldn't be his supporters anymore. And now you're starting to see MAGA people say they don't care if Donald Trump is even a pedophile. You've heard people say it out of their mouths. They do not care even if it turns out he's a pedophile. So that's worked with them. But just keep in mind that they see the Epstein files as a national security threat to Trump. And it's curious why. But on the point you were making, Jim, be careful what you wish for Republicans, because I can tell you, if I was in the Kamala Harris campaign, one of the questions I'd be asking if I did a real autopsy, not that stupid phony one they did where they didn't really say anything and, and forgot to mention that, oh, I don't know, we shouldn't hire these same bad white consultants who get all this money and get rich while the candidates lose. Okay, that one, that's my autopsy. You don't even have to pay me for it. But what?
B
They're real csi.
D
Yeah, Listen, they have solved a problem that the Democratic Party has been ignoring for at least a decade. And really, since Barack Obama had this record turnout of African American voters, that turnout has been sliding. Democrats still get the same number, the same percentage, but they haven't been able to get the volume they did for Biden. Biden got actually the highest volume of black turnout really in US History because people wanted Trump gone. Then Kamala Harris comes around and it really slid down, especially with black men. Guess what has reignited the black vote? Republicans trying to take away black power in the South. You've now roused the place where 52% of African American voters live to the point where even Florida voters, black voters who are unrousable since Obama, are getting real mad. And so what you've done is you've now triggered a potential boycott of these, the SEC colleges. They would starve the entire South's economy if suddenly black athletes stopped going to SEC colleges, which they should stop. They should not go to any schools in Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Florida, South Carolina. Boycott all those schools because they want black bodies on the field. They essentially want a slavery system where black athletes enrich the coaches, the schools, the campuses and the state, but cannot exercise power and cannot choose their own representation. They want every black elected official to be a Byron Donald's sellout. Byron Donald is just Clarence Thomas, but running for office. And that's the only kind of black, a black Congress person that they feel should exist in this country. Good luck with that. African Americans are not down with the cause. We're not down with the program. We do not want a bunch of Byron Donalds is running around supposedly representing us. And we will choose our own leadership. Thank you. So you want to rouse the black vote. You just done it. And that's why South Carolina Republicans were too scared to do it, because they're like, we need our SEC schools. We're going to die economically.
B
So that's right. No, and, and that's why they're calling this dummy mandering. Because in a lot of these cases, you have safe districts being turned into competitive districts.
D
Correct.
B
And now those competitive districts may produce Democratic candidates that, that could win these elections. So, you know, way to go, way to go, guys.
A
In Texas, in Texas especially, you know, Mike Madrid, who's been a former Republican who's been following Latino voters for 30 years, he told me last year, he said, listen, this gerrymandering in Texas especially might turn into a dummy mander, because what Republicans are counting on is that the same people who voted for them in 2024 will come back. And folks, we already talked about how he has lost 66 points with young men under 30, a 66 point turnaround. So the youth vote collapsed. What's another vote that's collapsed? Latino voters. Latino voters are at historic low when it comes to Republicans. That means they're going back to even like beyond 2018 midterms. So these people are thinking, oh, these Latinos who we were Able to con and say, hey, look at the transgender. And. And, hey, look, I'll be better for you on inflation. And, hey, you can kind of come to the barbecue as long as you stand outside. Those Latinos are like, you were supposed to make my life better F you. They're all not voting for Democrats, so that gerrymander in Texas might be a dummy mander. And, folks, that third group, Independence. He is at a historic low with independence. We've never seen these numbers. Oh, it's brutal. It's brutal. 22%. I act like I'm like, what? 22%. So what that means, folks, is, yes, Maga's a cult, and yes, these reeks are doing what their master and their daddy wants them to do because they're basically the gimp from Pulp Fiction. I'm not gonna mock their fetish. They're, you know, they're subs. They like a dom to whip them. It's okay. You know, they have the red apple in their mouth. I'm not judging you. Do you? I've never seen more submissive men than MAGA men. Like, all fours. Paddle me harder. Uh, father. That's what they say.
B
Sort of like Scott Besson with the 250 bill. I mean, I'm just gonna.
A
God bestons.
C
Like, I like that, though. Jim. That's his jam, you know, he's like,
A
thank me, daddy, Lindsey Graham, and go, this is a religion. Whatever daddy wants. I'm gonna go to Disneyland. But, sorry.
C
Look at Jim.
A
But if I may real quick. They're doing this, but there's a. There's a fire rising. That's what I want to say. There is a fire. Fire rising. And I know we're dealing with so much. They're so egregious in their corruption. They're so egregious in their racism. They're so egregious in their hatred. Right? The hoods have been replaced by MAGA hats, but the people are waking up. They have taken their own base for granted. Young people for granted, black people for granted, Muslims for granted. And we're saying enough is enough. And he betrayed three promises. Jim. I think if you've seen the past two and a half months, what's really radicalized people who are not radicalized. The first promise to his own base was out alone. Bring down the prices of everything. And now he's like, I don't care. Not one bit about finance.
B
Doesn't care.
C
He said he didn't care. He said, I don't care.
A
I don't care about the midterm again, I don't care. Number two, he promised to release the Epstein files, but like we mentioned, he's all up into Epstein files. And if I may real quick, Don Jr. Do you know he married over the weekend, Bettina Anderson, Epstein's personal banker's daughter. That's who Don really married. What?
C
Yeah, her dad, HBOY Anderson Jr. Was the president of Palm Beach Trust. And he vouched for Epstein to be able to enter the U. S. Virgin Islands, to bring his largest business at the time to the U.S. virgin Islands.
D
And that's so really, Jeffrey Epstein is the President of the United States. Like basically this is just the Epstein administration.
A
The ghost of Epstein it is.
D
Real quick.
A
And the third one, the third one is he promised no more forever wars and he got dragged into this.
C
Here we are.
A
As a result of the war, gas prices are going to stay high till 2027. Food shortages, energy crisis. So now we're seeing in real time, the fire is rising. And my question is there's a wide open lane, Jim, Joy and Kate and I want the democr wide open lane. Are you against forever wars? Do you want to stop a genocide? Do you want to tax the billionaires? Are you against AI data centers? If you take these issues, you will slam dunk victory. But we still haven't seen it.
B
No, it's so true. And if only we had a corporate media that was up to the task of covering what's taking place right now. But over at CBS at 60 minutes and this is something we've got to get into, they fired two terrific correspondents over there, two people I've known for many years, Cecilia Vega and Sharon Alfonsi. And you know, I, you know, I, I hope, I hope both of them sue Barry Weiss and Sue Ellison's. But to your point, watch about billionaires and oligarchs in this country. Let's just tax the out of them. I'm so pissed off right now about what Barry Weiss is doing to 60 Minutes. And when, as I say, when 60 Minutes is in trouble, we're all in trouble. But, but this is, this is how it happens. This is how a free press dies. This is how it's, it's rolled back or rolled into the sewer as in the case that we're seeing right now, Joy and you and I, I mean we've, we've all in some way shape or form had some experience in the corporate media landscape. But this is seismic. When 60 Minutes is screwed with to this extent, it is it people I don't think people recognize or can get their arms around how big of a deal this is.
D
Yeah, I mean, they, they claim that this is meritocracy at work. It's mediocracy at work. This is taking the most mediocre failures and elevating them to positions of power where they can destroy the good things that they're in charge of. Barry Weiss was booted out of the New York Times or slunk away because nobody liked her over there. And suddenly she created a sub stack that basically was just a giant whingy wine of MAGA right wingers who felt like, why can't we be cool? And of course we're like, perfect. Let's put her in charge of the Tiffany network. She's destroyed CBS News, Evening News. Tony De Coppel, nice guy, great journalist. Now is he credible? Is he Walter Cronkite? Like, not even close. She's now destroying 60 Minutes. She's going task, task by task destroying everything that was built at CBS News in 60 Minutes is her chief target because it's the investigative hub of CBS News.
B
Correct.
D
Cecilia Vega, I believe, was their only Latina on air correspondent. So of course to them that means they're getting rid of dei. All they're doing is replacing DEI with, with completely incompetent idiots who they know for sure will never make Trump sad. And that is the only purpose of that network now. It is North Korea tv. Don't make Trump sad. Make Trump happy. Don't do investigations of when he kidnaps Americans and sends them to third party countries. Don't do investigations of the Epstein files, for God's sakes. Don't say anything about his corruption, putting his money on the money, which is illegal. Just do things that make Trump happy. Make happy TV from the 80s so that Donald Trump can feel comfortable because again, he's a make a wish kid. You got to take good care of him because his ankles are swelling, are going to explode. And you never know when he's, you know, his, he's maybe in his last years. And so we want to make them comfortable and happy. It's pathetic. Barry Weiss is pathetic. I hope she gets sued by every single person that is leaving. Anderson Cooper was even like, peace out. I don't want to be a part of this anymore. No one credible wants to be a part of CBS News anymore.
B
No, that's right. And, and somebody just mentioned in the comments that CBS Radio has been killed off. I mean, the, the, the origin story of Edward R. Murrow during, you know, the raids on London during World War II and so on. And, and I just, to me it's, and Joy and Katie watch, we all know this for a fact. This, the ratings aren't the point. They've, they've killed the ratings at the CBS Evening News. Making money is not the point. This is an ideological project, Katie. And it seems to me that what, what the Ellisons are trying to do and they're taking over CNN as we speak. You know, it seems to me that if, if they were at all concerned as to whether this deal was going to go through, they would not have fired these two ladies this week. They would have been, let's play cool for a little bit. We'll have the merger go through and then we'll fire it. That mean that's how it would have been done in the old days. But right now it's in your face. It's just we're going to take, we're going to take cbs, we're going to take cnn and you can't do anything about it and screw all of you. And that's why this is a real pitchforks and torches moment for me. And I, you know, maybe because I worked at CBS a million years ago, I one piece on 60 Minutes to when they used to call it that back in the day during Katrina. And so I take this personally and I take what happens at CNN personally. And it enrages me what they're doing right now because they're going to take these two entities, they're going to smush them together and they're going to turn it into a Fox like network.
C
Yeah. And that's the reason why both you and I have testified in front of Senate hearings on the danger of these mega marines mergers because we've seen in real time the destruction of an independent editorial ability to be able to really speak truth to power. And we've seen it at cbs. It's happening right now before our own eyes. We know that it does not bode well for CNN should the merger between Paramount, Skydance and Warner Brothers be able to go through. And it's not just the news side. You, Jim and I and Kara Swisher and others did a press call the other day and one of the things that maybe has escaped some people's notices, it's not just the documentaries that are going to be one note, very vanilla will not allow an exploration of, you know, DEI and other type of topics. It's not just the reporting on the news that we're going to see be impacted by editorial Control being given up to people higher up on the food chain. That'll tell you you can't report on this. It's also the archives. I want to. Yes, second, the archives. As we've seen, the President has been sued because Trump wants to eliminate the Presidential Records Act. He doesn't want to allow the archives. He remember, he wanted to fire and he fired the National Archives person and gave that job to Marco Rubio, one of his 17,000 jobs that he has now. Marco Rubio is the archivist of the United States right now. If you want there to be an
B
elimination, there he is right there, of
C
the history of this country. If you want to facilitate the whitewashing, literally, of our history of culture and race, if you want to eliminate the history about the January 6th insurrection, if you want to eliminate the factual based, truth based evidence of how this country has been through several administrations, generations and over, over the decades, you eliminate the archives of places like cbs, CNN and others so that people like us, historians, documentarians and others cannot go back and reference the footage of Bloody Sunday. They can't go back and reference the footage of January 6, 2021. That's how you then control the narrative, not only moving forward, but being able to control what existed in the past. And so these mega mergers are, are not only anti competitive, but they are also monopolies of the worst kind. You are taking control of the free press and giving it in the hands to an elite of a tiny few that are yes men and yes women to an autocrat. That is what's happened in Hungary. That's what he did when. What the hell is that guy's name? I'm having a. Victor Orban. One of the first things he did was eliminate a free press. And he called loyalists only so that he could mimic what we see in North Korea, as Joy has said, and what we saw in Nazi Germany. People.
D
Yeah, and the old Soviet Union.
C
There's no such thing as propaganda in an autocracy or a dictatorship. It's just an oppress.
B
Well, and watch some of this is happening right now in that they've been trying to. They've been, they've been whitewashing and scrubbing from the DOJ website press releases that pertain to January 6th cases. I mean, why. You know, they tried to call this a false flag operation after January 6th. If you erase all the cases, I guess if you erase the archives at the news networks, I mean, maybe you can tell people 20 years from now that it was a false flag operation. And some people will Believe it. This is nuts.
A
I want to take the DeLorean back just one year. I just want to connect the dots to everything you all have been saying. These mergers are pro genocide and pro authoritarianism and pro boligarchy. Last year, Bill Owens, who was one of the three executive producers of 60 Minutes. 60 Minutes stored career. There's always been only been three Bill Owens. And this for media nerds like us. He resigned and he resigned in protest. And we said, watch this space. Why is Bill Owens resigning? And he said, I'm resigning as a warning to everyone not to obey in advance because the administration is influencing my coverage. Are my coverage on two issues. Number one, criticism of the Trump administration. Number two, coverage on Israel and Palestine. Sherry Redstone, who was the head of Paramount at that time, also an avowed hardcore pro Israel supporter. She protected Tony decouple. Tony decouple auditioned for Barry Weiss and the Ellisons because he mocked and ridiculed Ta Nehisi Coates, which internally, I'll tell you in CBS News, people were embarrassed and ashamed by that hit job on Ta Nehisi Coates. Sherry Redstone said, you know what? You're my guy. The merger happens. The merger happens. How? They give Donald Trump the scalp of who? Stephen Colbert, a critic. A critic of Donald Trump. He's like, here's a scalp, number one. Number two, here's a $16 million bribe. We'll settle this bullshit suit that we would have won, but we want to grease the wheels. The merger happens. Paramount, Skydance, merge. Who is the new owner? Larry Ellison and his Nepo baby son. David Ellison. Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle that just fired 35, 000 people to make space for an AI data center. Larry Ellison, the single largest funder to the Friends of Israel. Larry Ellison and David Ellison, big, huge supporters to Donald Trump. Larry Ellison also. Wait for it. Kids Gets Better bought up Tik Tok. Why? Because it's not the genocide that's radicalized people. It's Tik Tok, folks. So now they're greasing the wheels and they want to get what? Warner Brothers. And they're going to do it already, right? So they're going to get Warner Brothers and Paramount, which means two of the five Hollywood studios will be controlled by Larry and David Ellison. They've already gobbled up 60 minutes in CBS News. I don't have to talk about it. You just heard Jim and Kate and Joy talk about what they've done. They brought on Barry Weiss from the Free press to destroy 60 Minutes. Barry Weiss from her Own admission, I'm a Zionist fanatic, Hoosier whisperer, David Sachs, billionaire who's the czar of AI and crypto for Donald Trump. You can't make this up, right? So now they're going to have Warner Brothers, they're going to have Paramount. They've already have a purge list of a lot of celebrities like Javier Bardem and Mark Ruffalo, who's spoken out against the administration for Palestinian rights. They're going to gut cnn. They've already gutted CBS News. They have hbo. So goodbye John Oliver, tbs, tnt, bet, Comedy Central. Goodbye, Daily Show. And now they have TikTok. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
B
No, no, it's. You're dead on watch. Way to go. You get the gold star. But, you know, just to wrap things up, I mean, it seems to me that this is, this is the whole ball game here, Joy. If you can control the information systems of this country, we're in, we're in a whole bunch of trouble. And I'm, I'm worried.
D
I'm worried, too. Donald Trump very much admires Xi Jinping of China. In China, you can watch the news. It's not like there's nothing on TV that looks like it's the news. But the news will never be injurious to Xi Jinping. It will always be positive about Xi Jinping. I guarantee. You can't hear anything about any massacres or any wartime, you know, irregularities or anything China's ever about talked done wrong. Right? The Donald Trump wants to be Xi Jinping. He wants to be Vladimir Putin. He wants to be Viktor Orban. You and I have both talked about this, Jim. You can go to Cuba. There's news on tv. It's just not really the news you get, right? You get the appearance of being able to get news and information or the appearance of there being a late night comedy show, but it'll never be injurious to the regime. And so that is Donald Trump's goal. He aims to be a king. And what an irony, guys, fam. Our Brady Bunch. Our brown. Our brown Brady Bunchers. What an irony that in the 250th year of America's existence, where we have come back to is where George Washington and others decided they didn't want to be in a kingdom, a kingdom of Donald Trump. And it is being enabled by a weak need Congress that has no courage. But they're also corrupt and in on it, a corrupt Supreme Court majority who are also making money on it. So they're in on it and a corruption and a corporate media that's just scared or has been bought out. And so at this point, the fact that the four of us are able to say this freely is. Is the last bastion of our being able to save ourselves, which is independent media. So we just need to stay out here. And as long as they don't initiatify the platforms where we are able to do this, we're going to try to bring you guys the truth. And if you have a bunch of money, please buy up a CBS archives before Bari Weiss deletes them.
B
That's right. And subscribe to all of these programs. The Katie Fang show, the Left Hook with Wajahat, and of course, the.
A
You want some breaking news?
B
Yeah, please. Yeah.
A
For talking about the insidification. Just the, the shitty cherry on top of the cake. Pentagon recruiting troops to watch White House UFC fights.
B
Oh, God, they've got. See, they got a poor audience there. They got to put asses in seats over there. And speaking of asses, I mean, you know, we can all party like Pete Hexeth this weekend and we have the. There it is. I always like to my guys know, if I mentioned this picture must show up, it must be there.
C
Bravo. Amazing production.
B
As we all do. You know, I don't, don't try this at home, kids. But no, Joy, you make a great point. Host of the Joy Reed Show. Independent media is. Is where it's at now. And, and maybe we have been, we have had delivered to us a wannabe tyrant at the precise moment that we're celebrating the 250th birthday of this country for the very reason that you speak of that, that we are about no kings. We are not. We are not a monarchy. And as a matter of fact, it's our patriotic duty to kick those monarchs right in the ass. And that's what we're all going to keep doing until they shut us down. That's what we're going to do on all of our programs. But Katie Wise, Joy, great to see all of you. Happy Friday. Tgif. Have a great weekend forever.
D
Happy Friday.
B
Everybody has a final thought. Throw it in there.
D
I was just gonna say, if we're the Brady Bunch, can we say acosta. Acosta. Acosta.
C
Sure, Jim.
B
Sure, Joy.
A
Yeah, that's hilarious.
B
Or sure Watch. I feel like it should be a sure watch.
A
Maybe that will be sure Watch.
D
Watch, Watch, watch.
A
Thank you all. This is the Ethnic Avengers. You know what? And I would call it the Ethnic Brady Bunch. And the food is really good. And. And we use, uh, we use the spices and, uh, and the pepper and the salt.
D
So everything's in our food, guys.
A
Yeah, the food just, like the commentary, is seasoned to perfection.
B
Love it. Love you guys. All right, have a great weekend. Good to see you. Take care, all right.
D
And good night.
B
See you next time. All right, guys. Bye. Bye.
