Dr. Jordan B. Peterson sits down with author and philosopher Jack Symes. They discuss the ability of man to conceptualize God, the arguments for and against both an evil God and a perfect God, the evidence for a transcendent good to exist, and why happiness and suffering are the wrong theological axes. Jack Symes is a public philosopher and researcher at Durham University. Dr Symes is best known as the producer of The Panpsycast Philosophy Podcast, one of the UK’s most popular higher education podcasts. Jack is also the editor of the Talking about Philosophy book series, which features contributions from some of the world’s most influential thinkers.
