Well, it's primary day in Maine and in many states across America, Democrats preparing to go all in with all they purport to hate. Why is that? Well, you may not be so surprised. I'm Josh Hammer and this is Josh Hammer Show. So it's primary day in Maine, in Nevada and in various other states across the country. Lindsey Graham up front for his primary reelection in South Carolina and other big races of note. But our eyes are on the state of Maine where Democrats are prepared to go all in with Graham Platner, the Nepo baby of the 2026 Psycho. Graham Platner is one of the most scandal played candidates to hit the American political scene in years, perhaps decades. Democrats were chomping in the bed when Republicans nominated Herschel Walker for the Georgia Senate seat a couple of cycles ago and now just Republicans were chomping at the bits because Democrats are prepared to go all in with Graham Platner. The state of Maine. Now Maine is a very small state. It is somewhat isolated from the rest of the country in many ways culturally and also just geographically, but is a state that is going to play a huge role in the Senate come January 2027 because Susan Collins is the single most centrist, single most moderate and in many ways one of the most vulnerable current incumbent senators. Democrats could have gone a different direction. Many more established and moderate Democrats, that is to say the not totally off the deep end, insane, crazy caucus of the Democratic Party folks like John Fetterman, they want to go with Janet Mills who is the semi popular governor of the state of Maine. But however, that did not work out. So Mills has essentially dropped out. Her name is still on the ballot for Woodsworth, but she has stopped campaigning. It's kind of a weird situation frankly. So her name is still on the ballot as is one other Democrat. But Democrats are prepared to go all in with Graham Plattner. And sure enough, you actually look at the relevant polling there. Platinum is absolutely killing it. Most recent polls from University of New Hampshire had Platinum of 66 points on Janet Mills. Again, she stopped campaigning a While ago, even when she was still campaigning, Platner was still up by at least five to 10 points or so in most polling. So who is Graham Platner? So we have talked a little bit about this utter scoundrel. Graham Plattner is. Where do we even begin with a man who has so many controversies to begin with? The guy has a literal Nazi tattoo. Yes, an actual SS Totenkampf Nazi tattoo. He has said that he was drunk one night. Maybe he was on drugs. He's actually brags about being on drug vendors backpacking through Europe or Southeast Asia there. So he says, ah, maybe I was just drunk, maybe I, maybe I was on some, some sort of other narcotic or toxic intoxicant and therefore I got this tattoo. But the story doesn't actually bear that out because we also know that Graham Platner was a horrific, horrific ex boyfriend in his former scandal ridden dating life. And we mentioned yesterday's show how there was this big story in the New York Times last week. The New York Times engaging in a bit of a catch and kill free goodwill for the Platner for Senate campaign in the state of Maine. And among the alleged folks who have been abused or sexually assaulted or just treated horribly by Graham Platner is Lindsay Fifield, a fairly well known conservative operative. And Lindsey, among apparently others, says that Graham Platner used to brag actually about his Nazi tattoo. But there's actually a lot more frankly about Graham Platner than just the fact that the guy literally has a Nazi tattoo. By the way, he has a literal Nazi tattoo while he's also taking a very communist platform, which is why he has Bernie Sanders and the rest of the Democratic Socials of America. The horrific dsa. They are all in for Graham Platner. Now someone who knows a thing or 2 about 20th century history might scratch his head and say, how is it the guy who is shilling, it seems, for the Nazis SS is also pulling weight for the communists. Hmm. Wasn't it once upon a time where the Nazis were actually fighting the communists? Well, yes, but welcome to today's modern Democratic Party. So Graham Platner has again, too many scandals to possibly even begin to detail. But just to kind of briefly run through some of the lists, we mentioned how there was this story in the New York Times last week. Lindsay Fifield and various others who say that he was abusive, physically abusive, Lindsay Fifield saying that Platner would hold the door shut while telling Fifield to remain there until she was calmed down. Apparently Platner Frequently talked about killing people he viewed as a threat, made repeated comments about rape. He was fantasizing about rape as an expression of power. He talked about how he was proud to go off on his army service while engaging in all night drug addled benders at parties there. That's what he says his Nazi tattoo is attributable to. There is a separate scandal, actually separate from the actual physical abuse allegations where it has been revealed that he was engaged in sexting, in sending all sorts of sexually promiscuous text messages to all sorts of women during his marriage, women who were not his wife. His wife actually was the one who alerted Plattner campaign aides to this in 2025. They were doing some oppo research and curiously Democrats decided to attack the Platner campaign political director Genevieve McDonald for leaking this and getting this information out there. So they're doing anything they can to scapegoat and to not actually take out their frustration on Graham Platner directly. Nonetheless, he was sexting a lot of people who were not his wife. Genevieve McDonald was worth. The former Platner campaign operative has a new op ed in the Washington Post this doubling down on saying democrats don't go with this guy. There are still other people technically on the ballot. You don't have to do this. You don't have to go with just a crazy, crazy, crazy, psycho. There's. But there's more there as well. Platner has been a frequent user of Reddit and various other threads over the years where he has said just all sorts of crazy stuff when it comes to sexual innuendo. He has said a lot of horrific things, frankly, when it comes to the American troops as well. Actually just this, this morning, just this morning, the Washington Free Beacon reporting just another of these old comments from Graham Plattner on Reddit where he's a post under the username P Hustle. You get it? P for Platinum, P Hustle. So the Washington Free Beacon reporting that Graham Plattner characterized the heroics described by former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell in his bestselling memoir Lone Survivor as a quote, BS glory story. So according to Platinum Marcus Luttrell, who's an American hero, a former Navy SEAL and was played by Mark Wahlberg in the 2013 feature on this book, Grand Planner says that that this hero was quote, lying and promoting war porn. And this is actually not the only war hero who Grand Planner has taken out in his, in his crosshairs in Nepo baby who went to a fancy boarding school, essentially dropped out of school you are waiting by the way, the details on that. There's another shoe still to drop in this horrible story. But Democrats are set to go all in for a man who represents everything, everything, everything that they claim, they claim to abhor. Why is that? Well, we've got lots of thoughts on that one for now folks. Just a quick word from our first sponsor of today's show which is Balance of Nature. You know, I typically eat a very well rounded meal. I eat lots of fruits, lots of veggies. I try to go very low on the carbs, virtually no sugar. So Democrats on the one hand, back in the day, at the height of MeToo, at the height of Christine Blasey Ford and the Harvey Weinstein scandal and Matt Lowell and this and that, before the George Floyd racial panic became the left wing cause du jour, it was all about MeToo. From roughly 2017 to 2018 maybe into early 2019, MeToo was the cause celebr on the American left. And back then, I'm old enough to recall, and it was really not that long ago Democrats who said over and over and over again believeallwomen. Now those of us who've been around the block a little bit know that Democrats actually really never believed this. Why? Because you can go back all the way frankly to the 1990s when Slick Willie Clinton, Bill Clinton himself was caught up in all sorts of sexual scandals. Monica Lewinsky might have a thing or two to say about believeallwomen. Nonetheless, Hillary Clinton personally rallied around her husband dismiss the allegations of these White House interns as being the frustrated vexations of skanks and hoes. I'm using a little rhetorical hyperbole and flourish here, but that's essentially what Hillary and essentially what the DNC at the time said. So the whole MeToo moral panic was never particularly believable, but Democrats nonetheless really did seem at the time, at least to emphasize this point. You had all sorts of feminist writers, all sorts of feminist talking heads who were all in for this. So you have a guy now who was accused of sending all sorts of promiscuous womanizing messages, who allegedly assaulted physically abused people that he dated, whose own wife fed the oppo research out there to make sure this information got out there before Republicans could, could get their, their hands on it. And what do Democrats do? They say, oh yeah, that's our guy. Democrats for years and years furthermore, said that Trump is a Nazi, said that Donald Trump is, is Hitler. He's a Nazi. He's just a 21st century version of the Third Reich. And, and January 6th is equivalent to the Reichstag fire and this and this and that, making all these ridiculous, ridiculous Nazi analogies. So what do they do? They rally around the guy with the literal Nazi tattoo guy who was celebrating Hamas's invasion on October 7, because of course he would. The guy, the Nazi tattoo. What is not to love about today's modern day Nazis? A guy who was trashing the American military. Now there are some Democrats who are expressing some worry and frustration with Graham Platner. Some of them, John Fetterman comes to mind, a couple of others perhaps as well. The vast majority of Democrats are just falling in line. Why is that, though? Why are Democrats falling in line with a candidate who represents all that they at least pretend and purport to abhor and to loathe? The answer is shockingly simple. The answer is that Democrats care about one thing and one thing only. They care about power. It is pure, unadulterated, Nietzschean, nihilistic will to power. Democrats care about achieving power, retaining power and securing power. They care about then using that power at any and all costs to subjugate their political opposition and then to treat their friends amicably. To paraphrase a rather infamous 20th century South American dictator, for Democrats, it is always for my friends, the world, and for my enemies, the worst. For my enemies, punishment, and for my friends, the law. It's a rough paraphrase, but you get the idea. It's all about power. It's all about power. In today's Democratic Party, there are no principles at issue here. Certainly there's no me too principle. Certainly there's no anti Nazi principle. Otherwise Brem Klattender would not be nominated. The Democrats are going all in with Grand Platinum. And in making such a fatal decision, they are letting the American people know exactly where they stand when it comes to their view of principle versus Power. But when you love the Ring, to borrow a Tolkien Lord of the Rings analogy, when all you care about is the worship of power qua power, it has a nasty, nasty tendency to come back and bite you in the rear end. Perhaps Democrats will learn their lesson. Unfortunately, I think probably not.

Here's something most people don't know. When Warren Buffett was just 13 years old, he didn't put his money into a savings account. While other kids were earning next to nothing at local banks, Buffett put $114 into a little known investment. Today, that $114 would be worth over $15 million. And it wasn't a risky trade. It wasn't even insider knowledge. It was an account that's been around since 1888, and over the last 25 years it's averaged 29% a year. That's what happens when your money is allowed to compound. Compare that to today's savings accounts paying less than half a percent while inflation quietly eats away at your buying power. Buffett understood early banks are great businesses, just not for savers. If you'd like to see what some investors call the 29% account, go now to account account29.com that's account the numbers29.com again account29.com.

So why exactly have no other Democrats stepped up to the forefront in Maine? Janet Mills was the establishment pick. She was polling behind Platner in the polling and it looks like she's on the ballot still, but not really going to get anywhere. So, so why, oh why is Platner still standing? Well, it's a rather curious poll actually that I just saw this morning. Now, it's from a not super reliable pollster. They tend to use smaller sample sizes. The pollster's name is tpsi. So take this with a grain of salt. But nonetheless, I will say the following. So a new TPSI poll for likely voters out of the state of Maine. So a more controlled sample size says that in the abstract, if you just ask Mainers who they support between Grant Platt and North Susan Collins, Collins is up by less than 1%. However, when you inform the voters of Graham Platner's litany of scandals, some of which we just detailed earlier in today's show, when you inform them, you would think that Collins goes up and Platner goes down. Hilariously. And also just horrifically. It seems like it's the opposite when you inform Mainers about Platner's litany of scandals. Actually, Platner goes from a less than 1% disadvantage to Susan Collins to an 8 plus percent advantage. Again, one poll take with a grain of salt, but my goodness gracious, what an utterly insane situation there, if that is even remotely true. Now if Platinum were an isolated story, it would be one thing, but unfortunately it is not. Graham Platner is hardly the only instance of a horrifically scandal ridden Democrat across the country running running for the US Congress or some other high elected office this cycle. So In New Jersey's 12th congressional district we have briefly mentioned before how the winner, the winner of the recent primary In New Jersey's 12th district is a man by the name of Adam Homily, who was a plastic surgeon who won a crowded primary for a very, very blue safe Democrat seat in New Jersey. Who is Adam Homily? Well, he served as a witness for Omar Abdel Rahman, known as The Blind Sheikh, aka the Al Qaeda mastermind of the 1993 World Trade center bombing. Yes, the dude who is about to be elected to Congress literally was a defense witness for the predecessor to Osama Bin Laden in Al Qaeda trying to blow up the World Trade Center. That is actually not an exaggeration. What a time to be alive. Unbelievable stuff. I can barely say this with a straight face because it is just so palpably insane. The same guy, by the way, Adam Hanaway, actually volunteered over in Bosnia, over in the Balkans of southeastern Europe for an Al Qaeda aligned group. Hmm, funny how that works there also a similar situation happening in Maine. So a man by the name of Abdul El Sayed, who is the current leader in the Democrat Michigan Senate primary, we will see ultimately if he prevails over his slightly more palatable, slightly less back crap insane rivals. But Abdul El Sayed, who is the current leader again in the Michigan Democrats and primary, is a man who has said all sorts of wonderful things about various Hezbollah jihadis and Hamas jihadis there and was very close, shall we say, to the beating heart of the hyper radicalized Dearborn Michigan community. Hardly surprising unfortunately, given the rapidly changing demographics there in Michigan. But that is who the Democrats are putting to the table. So again, this is one, this is going to be one of Republican silver linings, I believe this fall is if you tend to focus on the political opposition Platner Hanaway El said, these are utter radical candidates. Throw into the mix someone who just sounds like an AI bot such as Tofu James Tellarico in Texas, the guy who was trying to turn Texas blue. He's not gonna do it by the way, but he's trying the guy who says that God has six genders or whatever and that the immaculate conception is justification for abortion. I mean the guy which literally doesn't sound human and the stuff he's saying is just so cringe, is just so insane. By the way, his campaign did not deny rumors of possible extramarital affairs and sexual promiscuity. So be on the lookout for another shoe to drop there when it comes to Tofo Talarico, who's going to be challenging Ken Paxton for the soon to be vacated John Corny there deep in the heart of Texas. By the way, more Democrat shenanigans happening in Alaska. I don't believe we've covered this on the show. So Dan Sullivan is the incumb senator in Alaska and Dan Sullivan has a brand new primary challenge there in the in the state of Alaska by a man by the name of Dan J. Sullivan. Huh, Funny how that works. Is this organic? Well probably not. Looks a lot like a Democrat operation to me. Trying to take down Dan Sullivan by any means necessary. Recall that Alaska has a pretty red state but they have Susan Collins's best ally. Speaking Susan Collins or best ally Lisa Murkowski is the super squishy rhino Republican Senator from Alaska. And actually, currently, shockingly actually the. The well heeled and well funded congresswoman from Alaska for the at large Congressional seat is a Democrat actually by the name of Mary Peltola. So the incumbent, the real Dan Sullivan. Will the real Dan Sullivan please stand up? The actual incumbent Dan Sullivan is now calling on. Is now calling on the Alaska electoral authorities to deny this other poser Dan Sullivan access to the ballot. Essentially saying that this is a concocted scheme from the Democrats, from Mary Pettola and from the DNC and the Democrats various campaign operations there. And the nric, the National Republican Senate Committee is actually threatening to sue, threatening future litigation. This has not been remedied. So all sorts of shenanigans up and down. We have not even gotten back to the California Poop Show. So more on that actually in just a moment. But for now folks, just another quick word from our other sponsor for today's show which is Angel Studios. You know folks, if you are like me, you probably still have a lot of questions about COVID 19 I know that? I certainly do. It seems like it was just yesterday. On the other hand, it seems like it was a whole lifetime ago. But what an utter disaster it was. The lockdowns, the masking there. Was there a government cover up when it comes to the Wuhan lab versus the wet market theory of viral transmission, we don't know to this day. What we do know is that we definitely have a lot still to uncover and that is why Angel Studios is bringing to you. Thank you Dr. Fauci. So this is an investigative documentary that examines public health, scientific accountability and the possibility indeed of one of the biggest government coverups in modern history. We actually had a recent CIA whistleblower testimony in Congress to that very effect. So what makes this even more interesting is that angel was the only platform willing to distribute it. And that's because Angel Guild members, not big shot Hollywood executives, decide what stories get seen. So if you care about truth, transparency and asking hard questions, you can Stream thank you Dr. Fauci on angel and join the conversation. You can join the angel guild today@angel.com Hammer Again, Angel Studios is a sponsor of today's show. Make sure to go ahead and check out their new film on COVID 19. Thank you Dr. Fauci. So as I mentioned, we have not even gotten to California yet. So over the past day or so, we now have a semblance of finality. A semblance I emphasize when it comes to the situation out in California. So Nithya Raman, who is a relative newcomer on the Los Angeles City Council, a woman who is so far to the socialist left that she makes Karen Bass, the tragically inept incumbent, look like something of a relative moderate. Nithya Raman has indeed advanced and she will be going up against Karen Bass. What that means is that Spencer Pratt has been denied a spot in the runoff. Steve Hilton Fordsworth is advancing to the runoff in the California guntorial race. Good for Steve Hilton. Not everyone has called the yet, but a lot of folks have called it. So Tom Steyer, the mega billionaire, is not going to make that runoff against Xavier Becerra. It will indeed be a Democrat versus Republican runoff to take the Governor's Mansion in Sacramento this November. Steve Hilton, the former TV host, a very exciting candidate. We will see if he has any chance. It's going to be an uphill slog. I wish him, frankly, nothing but the best. But the real question surrounds at this point what is happening out in the LA mayoral race. So for a lot of this, for a lot of this, R.A. spencer Pratt who has had these incredibly powerful viral ads. The former reality TV star who lost his home in the Karen Bass inflicted or at least partially culpable Karen Bass Palisades fire of about a year and a half ago. Spencer Pratt was looking like he was going to make the runoff for a long time against Karen Bass. And then at the last minute, funny how that works in the last call it 25% ish of ballot drops. You had Nithya Raman, this socialist, get a much higher proportion of the of the outstanding vote than she had in the first called 75% of votes, therefore allowing her to nip Spencer Pratt by a couple percentage points at the end. Now, a lot of folks are calling foul play and that there may or may not be legitimacy to that. But here is, I think, the relevant point. Regardless of whether there is actual genuine fraud, as our colleague on the Salem Podcast Network on Salem News Channel, Larry o' Connor said, this is essentially stealing an election through legal means. Through legal means. In other words, they're not violating the law, they're cheating while nonetheless following the law. That's because in Los Angeles county there is motor voter registration, where you go to the dmv, you can sign up to vote. Do they check whether you're a citizen? No. Do they ask for a passport or frankly, anything that matters? No. So it basically hands out free registration to illegal aliens. There is ballot harvesting. There are all sorts of other horrific legal tactics that essentially amount to stealing an election and cheating through legal. Through legal means. All this really should shine a spotlight on the necessity of the Save America act in Congress. If John Thune, frankly, were listening, I'm not sure if you are, but now would be a good time certainly to tune in. Welcome back. So you have a Nazi communist in Maine. You have a laughing stock of an AI faux Christian bot running for Senate in Texas. You have terrorist sympathizers at best, at best, sympathizers running in New Jersey 12 and potentially in Michigan if El Said wins the Democrat Senate primary there in the state of Michigan there. And you have all these Dan Sullivan shenanigans happening up in the last Frontier up in Alaska. A lot of foul play there. And you have the highly suspicious cheating through legal means victory of Nithya Rahman the socialist over the ever lovable Spencer Pratt out in Los Angeles. So as we open our show, and we will reiterate again, it's all about one thing. It's all about power. Power by any means necessary whatsoever. Now, what do Democrats actually want to do with that power? So you probably have an idea, and I have lots of thoughts on that one as well. But there was a new poll I saw that I think shines a spotlight on exactly what Democrats want to do with this power. So there was a new Gallup poll on the differing Democrat and Republican views on all sorts of moral issues. So let's take abortion. Democrats say that abortion is now more acceptable by 73% to 27 margin. Republicans, by the way, only say it's acceptable 18% of the time in terms of changing one's gender. Democrats give that a 60% approval. Republicans only 5%. Homosexual relations. Democrats, 81% approval. Republicans only 35%. Notably down 21% since 2022. Don't look now. The Republicans actually starting to gain some cultural train on the LGBT issue and frankly not just the transgender issue. How about doctor assisted suicide? Democrats, 68% approval. Republicans only 30%. Pornography. Democrats, 47% approval. Republicans, 19%. And on and on and on. The point is that is a party that is trying to accumulate power and therefore to utilize and to implement and weaponize power. For what purpose? For cultural destruction. For the victory of the Red Green Alliance. Because. Because if there's one thing, if there's one thing that the Nazi communist grand planner and the terrorist sympathizers of Michigan and New Jersey, the two constituent parts of the Red Green alliance, if there's one thing that they have in common, it is that they love power. Communists love power. Islamists love power. Why are they doing it? To destroy America from within. To bring us cultural and moral ruination ultimately culminating in the victory of our civilizational foes. Islamism, China, Russia, and on and on and on. It is an utter, utter disaster. If there is 1, 1, 1 saving grace for Republicans this fall despite gas prices, about the economy. This, this, that, that. None of it matters except for this. Democrats insane. No matter how unpopular Trump or Republicans may or may not be, depending on a given poll, Democrats will always be more unpopular due to people like Platinum Talrico, El Sayed Khamini, and on and on and on. So I want to transition a little bit and talk about some things happening over at the doj. So, a absolute smoking gun bombshell. The new opinion issued just this morning from the office of Legal Counsel at the doj. That's head up by my former law school classmate and dear friend, Elliot Geiser. So Elliot Geiser is presiding over a tremendous operation at the olc. OLC is basically the in house constitutional think tank and opinion writer within the executive branch. They issue memos essentially saying what is or is not constitutional for the Commander in chief, for the chief Executive, the President of the United States to do so. The medal this morning is on disparate impact liability. So disparate impact liability, which was deemed to be constitutionally legitimate in a somewhat infamous 1971 case called Griggs vs. Duke Power. What it means is that when an employer makes decisions, or frankly, a university or any other entity makes decisions so that have the effect of benefiting one group more than others, there is implied implicit discrimination. It's called disparate impact. So in other words, if you have a facially neutral policy, According to this 1971 case called Griggs, a facially neutral policy, but whites benefit more than blacks. Just as a happenstance side effect, racism can't do it. Illegal under Title vii. So this big OLC memo this morning basically says that the way that disparate impact has been implemented and interpreted for purposes of federal employment law, such as Title vii of the 1964 Civil Rights act, is unconstitutional. This is a very, very, very big deal, frankly, when it comes to employment law in America. And what they basically say is that the disparate impact standard, as has been interpreted and applied by the courts and by employers and so forth, is incompatible with what the court has said in recent years, including the Marquis Affront of Action case out of Harvard a few years ago, with what they say is a colorblind Constitution. In other words, colorblind constitution, disparate impact. Pick one. You can't have both ways. That's it. That's the whole enchilada. You pick one. You simply cannot have it both ways. So there is now a very, very steep third requirement that a challenger must meet in order to win a disparate impact claim. Specifically, those alleging disparate impact racism in courts, according to the olc, must now, quote, establish with particular evidence that there is an available alternative practice that causes less disparate impact and would be equally effective for serving the employer's valid business purpose, that's a really, really, really high standard to meet. So it's a beautiful, beautiful opinion. You read the whole thing for yourself. It's fully available online there. This, this OLC and this DOJ doing great work in general, trying to roll back as much as they can within the confines of what Article 2 can do unto itself without Article 3 helping. They're doing as much they can to really restore true, true colorblind equality and justice under the rule of law in these United States. And that is actually a really Good reminder that Todd Blanche, who has been the acting attorney general for Donald Trump since Pam Bondi was let go, he is now being formally nominated to be the permanent attorney General. This was announced last week when I was abroad over in Israel. Todd Blanche is an inspired pick for attorney General. I have met Todd. I have very high opinions of Todd. He is an absolute warrior. I would highly encourage you to go ahead and to get involved actually in this fight. So over at the Article 3 project where I am senior counsel, you can go to article3project.org, go to our Take Action button there. It's our action call center. And you can actually go ahead and get in touch with your senator today to make sure that Todd Blanche is confirmed. There was some back and forth over this so called weaponization fund. John Thune and a lot of other Republicans in the Senate were not a fan of this fund. Todd Blanche essentially saying that this fund is not going to go anywhere. So it looks like it'll probably be smooth sailing. But again, folks, you can go to oracle3project.org, go to our Take Action center and get involved in this fight. It's a very, very important one. Todd Blanche I think is going to be an excellent attorney general. Trump has a lot of reasons to care about a loyal bulldog. A loyal bulldog in his attorney general, in his doj. Todd Blanche will be exactly that. So go ahead and get involved here. Let's make sure that Todd Blanche gets confirmed. So in other Capitol Hill news, Thomas Massie, I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Thomas Massie is at it again. So Thomas Massie was defeated, mercifully, he was defeated a couple weeks ago by Ed Galron, the former Navy seal. Thomas Massie, who has become an arch foe of President Trump and maga, decided to do a get another stunt because apparently he will only go out on the lowest of low possible notes come January 2027. So Thomas Massie took to the floor of the House yesterday talking about the USS Liberty. Yes, he really went there. Let's go ahead and play this clip from Thomas Massie yesterday on the House floor.
D
Massey for five minutes, I request unanimous consent to revise and extend my marks and to introduce other material into the record. Without objection, Mr. Speaker, it's my great honor, maybe one of the biggest honors of my lifetime, to stand here on the floor and do something that's 59 years overdue, to recognize the survivors and those who gave their lives on the USS Liberty 59 years ago today when they were viciously attacked by IDF jets and also after that by torpedo boats. I'm going to tell you a little bit of their story.
B
Okay, so Thomas Massie goes on here and he accuses the IDF of murder. He actually uses these hypercharged, legally relevant terms. The USS Liberty is the favorite conspiracy theory of the anti Semitic, anti Israel crowd. It is typically in the fever swamps of the DL Stormer and in Nick Fuentes Live online livestream chats. It is pretty rare to hear this sort of thing said from the floor of the United States House because it is so demonstrably and palpably wrong in what it actually says. And it really just underscores that Thomas Massie has no role whatsoever in the future of the right, in the future of his party, in the future of the concerned movement. Anyone who bothers to look at the facts and we'll get into that in just a second here after a quick break. Anyone who bothers to actually look into the facts of what happened in the alleged incident or the actual incident, but the alleged murder. It was not a murder, but in the incident. Anyone who looks into this can tell within seconds there's a tragic, tragic act of friendly fire, not a vicious, vicious, deliberate, intentional murder, as Massey would say. So we'll get into that and much more. Folks, after one final break, we'll be right back on the OTHER side. Stay with us. Welcome back. So rather than give my recap of the USS Liberty incident, which was a horrific incident during the Six Day War of June 1967, hence Massey saying 59 year anniversary because it happened 59 years ago. Rather than that, I'm going to just read to you a bit of an excerpt from an op ed that Rich Lowry of National Review published for the New York Post this past December where he lays out very clearly what actually happened. So here is the actual story Again, I'm quoting an op ed from Rich Lowry in the New York Post from this past December, quote, On June 8, 1967, the 6th Fleet was keeping its distance from the hostilities in the ongoing Six Day War fought between Israel and Egypt, Syria and Jordan. The USS Liberty, a spy ship, had come within 13 nautical miles of the Sinai coast. It requested a destroyer escort, which was denied, and orders to the Liberty to withdraw about 100 miles from the front were delayed in a communications tangle. That morning an ammunition dump ignited in the coastal city of Al Arish in the Sinai and the Israelis wrongly believed the location had been shelled by Egyptian ships. The Israeli Navy spotted the Liberty heading toward Egypt and wrongly concluded it had been one of the attackers Two Israeli Mirage jets saw no identifying markings on the Liberty. A later US Inquiry speculated that the flag might not have been visible for lack of wind, and they strafed the ship. More Israeli jets napalm the Liberty. The absence of return fire puzzled the Israelis, who paused to ensure they weren't hitting an Israeli vessel. Assured it wasn't one of their own, they renewed the assault. Still uneasy, they looked for identifying markers. Again, they saw no flag, but made out of Latin, not Arabic letters on the hull strong suggesting the vessel was not in fact Egyptian. Yet a squadron of torpedo boats determined that the Liberty's silhouette matched an Egyptian supply ship. A request for identification from the Liberty received no affirmative reply. The Liberty's captain ordered his men to not shoot at the torpedo boats, but one gunner briefly fired, and there were further discharges from exploding ammunition. Believing they were taking incoming from an Egyptian ship, the torpedo boats requested permission to fire and got reluctant ascents. A torpedo slammed into Liberty, blowing a hull 24ft from tall by 39ft wide and killing more than two dozen sailors. Eventually, an Israeli torpedo boat picked up a raft from the Liberty with US Naval markings, and the Israelis realized their tragic error. They apologized instantly to the US Naval attache, Ernest Carl Castle, and Israeli helicopter attempted to take him out to the Liberty. The Israeli torpedo boats offered assistance to Liberty, which was rebuffed. And on and on we go. Ultimately, Israel has apologized repeatedly for this. They actually offered formal restitution compensation. The point is that this was a tragic, tragic incident of friendly fire. Horrific, horrific. Dozens of people were killed. Way more were wounded or maimed. A horrific, horrific act of unintentional friendly fire. Tragically, this actually happens more frequently in war than you might expect. Actually, just during Operation Epic Theory against the war against Iran, a few months ago, you had US Aerial infrastructure that was shot down by our Gulf ally, Kuwait. Actually, Kuwait thought that they were firing on Iran, and actually they were firing at America. Did this cause a lot of people to say, oh, Kuwait's not actually our ally? No, of course not. Of course not. We've had a friendly fire instance with, with the Brits in various other wars. We've gone to war with the British, with. It's a horrific but inescapable and inevitable fact of war. And again, the Israelis took full responsibility. They paid restitution, compensation, et cetera. This is still a talking point, though, 59 years later. And as a talking point, not because there were people interested in the truth, because there were people who would just glom onto anything, anything to give their delusional mind virus, fever, brain insanity. Just a patina, a semblance of historical legitimacy. Again, for a long time, this talking point that liberty was confined to Nick Fuentes livestreams and Daily Stormer. Then Tucker Carlson started talking about it. Oh, and now it's on the house floor of Thomas Massie. It's not good, it's dumb. But ultimately just another reminder that Thomas Massie has lost his everlasting mind. Frankly, this is a mental illness on display. And that above all, more so than whatever antipathies and biases and bigotries he may or may not have. That, above all, is why Thomas Massie is out and Ed Galwine will be in in Kentucky's 4th congressional district come January 2027. So I want to focus now a little bit towards the end of our show today on the world of sports. The world of sports is something that I am passionate about. I am a big sports fan. You may or may not have noticed that it was a truly, truly star studded NBA Finals Game 3 last night at MSG Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. The New York Knicks playing an NBA Finals game at the Garden for the first time since I was in fourth grade actually back in 1999. I remember it very well as a native of the New York area and there were countless celebrities in attendance there. Among them was Donald Trump, who was actually something of a big lifelong Knicks fan. Frankly, New York City actually rallies around the Knicks like really no other team, I would say more than Yankees, Mets, Rangers, Giants, you name it there. Adam Silver, actually the very far left woke Adelbrain, commissioner of the NBA, actually went on ABC to say that Trump has always been a genuine Knicks fan. Here was Adam Silver.
E
And I'll also say about President Trump, you know, I've been with the league for a long time. I ran NBA Entertainment years ago. He did an I Love kids game spot with us. He was a fixture at NBA at Madison Square Garden. You guys remember all of you when you played here, not Draymond, but back in the old days he had courtside seats. He was here all the time. He was at draft. So he's a genuine Knicks fan.
B
So again, Silver, not a fan of Trump. And in fact, Adam Silver was actually the commencement speaker for my law school graduation. So Silver and I, Adam Silver and I have this very weird biographical overlap. We're both Jewish, we are both from the same county, Westchester County, New York. We both went to Duke, both went to University of Chicago Law School. So we have this very weird biographical overlap. I am actually not his doppelganger. I have a little bit more hair, among other things. But Silver is very, very, very far to the left. In fact, back in our commencement in 2016, remember silver talking about the horrific atrocities of the North Carolina bathroom bill at the time, which was the left wing controversy de jour. North Carolina had the chutzpah to try to legislate that if you are a man, then you pee with the men and women, vice versa. Silver actually went off on that in his law school commencement address the year that I graduated. So he's a lefty. Dude is a far, far lefty. Even he admitt Trump is a Knicks fan. Actually, Trump is a just a big sports basketball guy in general. My good friend Dave Rubin, I noticed that he actually put out or his team found this amazing clip from the 1990s. Donald Trump making a cameo in the mid-90s as an NBA cameraman three plus decades ago. Let's go ahead and play this clip as well.
E
Houston, leading by one and our guest celebrity cameraman Donald Trump. Welcome to the telecast.
F
How you doing folks?
B
Five.
E
Thank you. You know, we must be paying our cameraman a pretty penny.
B
You're paying a lot of money. It's a great job.
E
Thanks for being with us, doc. Thank you.
B
Great game.
E
Have a good time.
B
Ah, there he is. He sounds the exact same, doesn't he? Again, kudos to Dave Rubin's team for finding that clip from three decades ago. So, folks, at msg, last night, Donald Trump was cheered and booed, but he stood there during the national anthem, hand on his head like a proud patriot. This is how you mix sports and politics. Donald Trump is very good at going to sporting events and just sticking to sports. Unfortunately, the other way around, it gets a little complicated. That takes us to Formula one superstar Lewis Hamilton, who recently went on a podcast and had this to say, sounding a lot like a communist. Let's go ahead and play this from Lewis Hamilton.
F
The one of the things that I'm like, I struggle with every day is and it's just how life is and it's been the way for thousands of years that there is such a disparity between wealthy and, and the poor. And you know, you still, when you drive around la, there's still so many people living on the streets. There should, you shouldn't be able to have billions, right? I think there should, there should be a limit to how much you can have because there's enough to go around to everyone. So somehow creating a law that creates more equality. Yeah. And equal access to for everyone. You know, I don't know how that you would implement, implement that law. That's all good but like, geez, man, I've met kids that are starving.
E
Yeah, same.
F
And you think, oh God, like how are we? We are so, so lucky. So many of us. And knowing that and not taking advantage of, of your everyday is so, so important.
B
So as the longtime listeners or viewers may know, I'm actually a die hard F1 fan. I watch every single race. I've never been a fan of Lewis Hamilton for reasons just like this. The dude was all in for Black Lives Matter. He's been all in for the Rainbow Agenda, he was all in for Gaza and Hamas and now he's all in for communism. But it's not just the leftism. The hypocrisy is insane. Lewis Hamilton, like most of the F1 starting grid, lives in Monaco, the de Facto home of F1. Why? For tax shelter reasons. Lewis is from England because he does not want to pay British taxation because it's punitive. That's why he lives in Monaco. More to the point, Louis, who's now dating billionaire Kim Kardashian, why don't you lead by example? Go in your mega yacht and just start throwing money to the plebeians. Probably not in Monaco. Go to somewhere else. Just lead by example, bro. What? But you won't do it because you are a dirty, stinking, filthy hypocrite. I really, really, really do not care for this man. He is a tremendous driver, but a world class moron as a human being. Communism fails everywhere it has been tried. It is immoral, it is gross, it's counterproductive. Unfortunately, there will always be useful idiots like Lewis Hamilton pushing it. Now we have Graham Platner as well. Just a total, total poop show, frankly, when it comes to that whole scene. Anyway, folks, have a great rest of your evening. Josh Hammer signing off. We'll be right back. As always, tomorrow.
Host: Josh Hammer
Date: June 9, 2026
In this episode, Josh Hammer delivers a blistering critique of the Democratic Party, analyzing primary races across the U.S. to argue that Democrats, despite claiming to stand against bigotry and for progressive principles, ultimately care only about attaining and maintaining political power. Using recent scandal-rocked Democratic candidates as examples, Hammer contends the Left’s purported values are merely tools for political expediency. The show also touches on legal news, poll data, election tactics, and even sports moments with political implications.
(00:30–12:35)

— Josh Hammer (03:00)
Democratic Response to Platner:
Critique of Leftist Principles:
“Democrats care about achieving power, retaining power, and securing power… It is pure, unadulterated, Nietzschean, nihilistic will to power.”
— Josh Hammer (10:35)
(13:41–21:40)
“If you tend to focus on the political opposition: Platner, Hanaway, El Sayed—these are utter radical candidates.”
— Josh Hammer (17:33)
“This is essentially stealing an election through legal means… cheating while nonetheless following the law.”
— Josh Hammer, paraphrasing Larry O’Connor (20:40)
(21:41–24:20)
“Why are they doing it? To destroy America from within. To bring us cultural and moral ruination…”
— Josh Hammer (24:05)
(24:21–29:45)
“Colorblind constitution, disparate impact—pick one. You can’t have both ways. That’s it. That’s the whole enchilada.”
— Josh Hammer (26:27)
(29:46–37:50)
“Anyone who botherrs to look at the facts ... can tell within seconds there’s a tragic, tragic act of friendly fire—not a vicious, deliberate, intentional murder as Massie would say.”
— Josh Hammer (34:00)
(37:51–42:36)
“Donald Trump is very good at going to sporting events and just sticking to sports. Unfortunately, the other way around, it gets a little complicated.”

— Josh Hammer (10:32)
On Los Angeles election strategy:
“This is essentially stealing an election through legal means… through legal means. In other words, they’re not violating the law, they’re cheating while nonetheless following the law.”
— Josh Hammer (20:40)
On Graham Platner’s mismatched alliances:
“A guy has a literal Nazi tattoo while he's also taking a very communist platform, which is why he has Bernie Sanders and the rest of the Democratic Socialists of America. ... Someone who knows a thing or two about 20th century history might scratch his head...”
— Josh Hammer (05:15)
On the new DOJ legal memo:
“This is a very, very, very big deal, frankly, when it comes to employment law in America.”
— Josh Hammer (26:00)
On Lewis Hamilton’s comments:

— Josh Hammer (42:35)
Josh Hammer’s episode offers a caustic, rapid-fire conservative analysis of contemporary politics, focusing on what he deems the Democratic Party’s abandonment of principle for power. From Maine to California, controversial Democratic candidates and alleged ballot manipulations are highlighted as emblematic of the Left’s priorities, with sharp jabs at hypocrisy within progressive activism—both political and cultural. A substantive legal update and a sports-politics crossover bring further texture, while memorable bluntness and biting asides assure sharp engagement for listeners across the episode.
