I'm Josh Hammer and this is the Josh Hammer Show. The joint US Israel military operation against the Islamic Republic of Iran now enters its second week. Things are going staggeringly well from an operational standpoint. But when will victory actually be determined? And more important, how will victory be determined? Heather Johnson joins us later on the show to unpack that. But for now, we begin with this. It's not just radical Islamic Jihad that we are fighting overseas. Radical Islamic Jihad is now here at home. How many instances do we need to throw our hands into the air and to say that enough is enough? There have now been at least four instances of lone wolf radical Islamic Jihad attacks here on American soil since the commencement of Operation Epic Fury in Iran two weeks ago. Within hours of the commencement of that operation and the assassination of the 37 year running tyrant there, Ali Khamenei, within hours, you had a Senegal man who was tragically nationalized, a citizen who decided to wear a Property of Allah shirt and rush over to a bar on 6th street in Austin, Texas and mowed down a bunch of people. Last weekend in New York City on the Upper east side outside Gracie Mansion in New York City, you had conservative protesters who had the audacity, the temerity to say that we don't want to be woken up at 5am because of the Islamic call to prayer. That's not what we signed up for. Pretty reasonable thing to say, I might say. In New York City of all places, a city that less than 25 years ago was struck with the worst Islamic terrorist attack in the modern history of Western civilization. In any event, you had a couple of teenagers last Saturday in New York City, radicalized ISIS inspired teenagers who had traveled to Turkey and Saudi Arabia and decided to try to detonate what is known in the bomb making counterterror community as the so called Mother of Satan IED bomb. Thankfully, no one was killed. The mayor of New York City, for what it's worth, Zoramdani, as you might have heard, could not bring himself, not even merely to not condemn what had happened there. He couldn't even acknowledge what happened. He decided to blame this on the riff raff that was happening in the conservative protesters there. That was two weeks and one week ago, unfortunately, on Thursday, March 12, radical Islamic terrorism struck again in both Michigan and in Virginia. The situation in Michigan is tragic simply because of how utterly predictable it is. It's been for years now, I think for a long time that Dearborn, Michigan is just going to pop off at some point. Now, what happened on Thursday could have been so, so, so much worse. We'll get to that in just a second there. But you have to understand that Dearborn, Michigan was a prominent suburb of Detroit. It's home to the Ford Motor Company. It's been home to Ford for just about a century, or frankly more. It is now at this point, essentially one giant Hezbollah sleeper cell. It is home to a lot of Lebanese Muslims, a lot of Shiite Muslims, a lot of folks who have their, their loyalty to Hezbollah and or to the IR itself, the head of Shiite Islam for the most part in the world today. This was a ticking time bomb, quite literally is the case of me ready to go off. And unfortunately, it attempted to go off again. It could have been so much worse. It attempted to go off on Thursday, March 12th. So a man by the name of ayman Mohammed Ghazali, 41 years old, he actually entered the United States on a legal visa in May 2011. The Obama administration gave him a legal visa. He, he actually then obtained citizenship in the final year of the Obama presidency in 2016, because he was the husband of a US citizen. So we naturalized this guy as a citizen and it turns out that he decided that because he had a couple of brothers who were apparently killed over in Lebanon by Israeli airstrikes in the somewhat not so distant past, he decided that he was going to load up his van with a bunch of explosives and try to just kill a bunch of Jewish preschool children. Yes, that is literally what this guy decided to do. And there are some folks in the media who have been saying that he was trying to settle scores, settle scores with the Jews. In fact, even Grandma Gwiper herself, Megyn Kelly, had an utterly abominable, putrid retreat, essentially trying to take away the moral culpability of this lone wolf jihadist and trying to place that on the Jewish community at large. Disgusting, disgusting, loathsome stuff. The story has a happy ending because there is only one fatality as a result of this horrific incident. And the one fatality is the now dead terrorist himself. The there was actually an FBI armed shooter training session at this very synagogue just about a month and a half, two months ago back in January. And they had a security guard who was very well equipped, a heroic security guard who leapt into action, immediately minimized or really just ended the loss of life. He was injured. He's going to be okay. You, sir, are a hero. The rabbi from this synagogue went on CNN to talk about this horrific notion being peddled again by Mehdi. Many utter moral credence that this jihadist does not have the sole and exclusive moral culpability on his hands. Let's go ahead and watch this clip from Sienna.
C
Any relationship that any news organization or anyone is talking about in terms of his family's loss of life, which is a tragedy in and of itself. Any connection to an attack on an American synagogue in the suburbs of metro Detroit is intensely anti Semitic and inappropriate. And that's something that we've all been dealing with too, that, you know, using that as an excuse for why somebody might have come after a group of American Jews in Detroit. That's anti Semitism at its, at its, at its peak. And, and we're hoping that that is not the story that people are telling. And instead the story is that, that American Jews shouldn't have to live this way and fear to send their children to preschool.
B
So the Thrustburg comments are obviously entirely correct. The notion that because the state of Israel is taking defensive actions against terrorist groups and therefore Jewish preschool children in Michigan should be targeted is, is essentially out of Der Sturmer. I mean, I mean, that is so disgusting Nazi esque garbage as to make it even difficult to know how to respond frankly. Such garbage. The rabbi I think did a perfectly fine job there. The one thing that she said that I do have to quibble with is that she said that this guy's family loss of life was tragic back in Lebanon. Well, was it tragic? Turns out that this guy comes from a Hezbollah family. I mentioned that Dearborn is essentially one giant Hezbollah cell. Well, his family, he had two brothers that apparently were killed by Israeli airstrikes. You know why they were killed? Because they were Hezbollah. Because they were literally car carrying members of the Iranian regime's number one Shiite supremacist jihadist proxy. Unbelievable stuff. As Omri Saran, who is a staffer for Ted Cruz, an all around smart guy when it comes to national security affairs, as Omri Saran put it on X Early on Friday morning, the two brothers were Hezbollah terrorists. The story should be that the US Allowed a foreigner from a Hezbollah family to enter the country and eventually be naturalized, and he launched a terrorist attack against the synagogue. Yes, thank you. That's the actual story here. The real story is that Dearborn, Michigan, has been a ticking time bomb waiting to go off for a very, very long time. This past September into October, there was a small protest in Dearborn because, among other things, they were. They were planning to rename a street sign. They were literally going to rename a street. And the sign, the street was named after a pretty anodyne thing, Maple street, whatever. I'm making something up there. But it had a very basic street name. They were going to take this street name and rename it after a Hezbo, after. After a Hezbollah guy. And at the town hall meeting, and the mayor of Dearborn is a Lebanese Shiite Muslims prize, prize. So at this point, town council meeting there, a Christian minister from Dearborn goes up back last September and says that he objects to this, that he objects to the renaming of the street sign after a Hezbollah jihadi. And the mayor, Abdullah Hamoud Lambastad is his name, said that you are a racist, you are an Islamophobe, and you are not welcome here. He said you're an Islamophobe because you object to renaming a street sign over a Hezbollah terrorist. This is the community that produced this naturalized system that decided to try to go blow up a lot of Jewish preschool children. Disgusting. Absolutely appalling stuff. And if that wasn't bad enough, that wasn't even the only radical Islamic jihadist attack that happened on Thursday, March 12. A totally separate and arguably even more easily preventable and foreseeable incident happened deep in the heart of the Commonwealth of Virginia, happening at Old Dominion University there. So there was an active shooter situation that happened at Oldman University in Virginia. One individual was tragically killed. He was actually a ROTC instructor. So if you know anything about rotc, it is referred to as the Reserve Officers Training Corps. This man's name was Brandon Shaw, taken from us far, far, far too soon. May his memory be an absolute blessing there. So this individual decides to try shooting up a classroom or more at Old Dominion University in the. In the broader Norfolk, Virginia area. And again, Brandon Shaw, a ROTC instructor, ends up tragically being killed. He is quickly subdued. Here's the good part of the story. He is quickly, quickly subdued by the ROTC students themselves, actually, which is just an amazing story there. So heroic, heroic stuff from the ROTC students who stepped into to subdue and ultimately kill this suspect there at old main university campus there in Norfolk, Virginia. As far as who this individual was, this is where it starts to get. I mean folks, I saw this, I want to punch a freaking wall. This is how maddening, how frustrating this is. So the individual who committed this atrocity at ODU in Norfolk, Virginia is a man by the name of Mohammed Jalal. Guess who he is. He was previously convicted, not just indicted, convicted in US federal court of providing material support to isis. Isis, the same radical jihadist organization that the two lone wolves outside Gracie Mansion tried to detonate the IED just last weekend. This guy was convicted of providing material support to isis. Apparently he was naturalized citizen too. They're saying that once upon a time he actually was an Army National Guard officer. To make matters even worse, if you actually go back and look at his criminal sentencing, he was sentenced and convicted for this. He was convicted of material support ISIS back in the U.S. district Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. This is in the courtroom of Judge Liam O'. Grady. The sentencing hearing goes back to February of 2017, per federal court records. You can actually go back and look at this. He had a 240 month sentencing guidelines range. So not to get too in the weeds there, when it comes to federal criminal law, there is what's known as the US Sentencing guidelines, which are essentially guidelines to recommend to judges what to sentence, although the sentencing is ultimately largely, not entirely largely in the discretion of the judge. So for this particular crime, material support to a foreign terrorist organization like ISIS, the sentencing guidelines provide a 240 month recommendation. Guess what? The judge sent him to roughly half that. 132 months. This probably wouldn't have happened if the judge had just sentenced to the maximum. Unbelievable stuff. Unbelievable. And now this judge, it seems indirectly has some blood on his hands when it comes to the death of Brandon Shah. This roti struggle, who's been gunned down by this ISIS fanatic. Meanwhile, Cash Patel, the FBI director saying this is being investigated as an act of terrorism, which it obviously is. So is the incident in Michigan. All around us, folks, radical Islamic Jihad, this subversive fifth column, immigrants, naturalized citizens, it's all around us. It is destroying this country. And unless, until we wake up, it's gonna be a problem for decades and decades and decades. Come I am sorry to tell you, but I call like I see it and that is frankly what it is, folks. Stay with us. A short commercial break. We'll be right back with more on the other side.

Here's something most people don't know. When Warren Buffett was just 13 years old, he didn't put his money into a savings account. While other kids were earning next to nothing at local banks, Buffett put $114 into a little known investment. Today, that $114 would be worth over $15 million. And it wasn't a risky trade. It wasn't even insider knowledge. It was an account that's been around since 1888, and over the last 25 years, it's averaged 29% a year. That's what happens when your money is allowed to compound. Compare that to today's savings accounts paying less than half a percent while inflation quietly eats away at your buying power. Buffett understood early banks are great businesses, just not for savers. If you'd like to see what some investors call the 29% account, go now to secretaccount29.com that's secretaccount the numbers29.com secretaccount29.com

welcome back. Funny enough, I actually wrote an article and I wrote this article Wednesday night. I finished it Thursday morning, and within hours of my finishing this article, I learned about what happened at Old Dominion University and Michigan there. My article, frankly, could not have been timely enough. So I wrote this new article for front page magazine, frontpagemag.com, it's the online journal for the David Horace Freedom center where I am proud now to be a Shulman Fellow. And the article that I wrote, which again, eerily, eerily timely, we the people never voted for Mass Islamic immigration. I refer to this in my article as Societal Transformation without Representation. Go back and think about the fact that in 1776, the revolutionaries here in this great country, these United States fought a war, among other things, because the British Crown and Parliament were taxing the colonists without representation. You can go to the nation's capital today and a lot of the liberals in D.C. have on their license plates no taxation without representation. Well, what we have now seen when it comes to Islamic immigration, America is something quite a bit more dastardly and sordid than that which is societal transformation without representation. We have some numbers on this, folks. So back in 1965, there was the Immigration Nationality act, which is a Ted Kennedy statute called the Hart Sellers Act. Sometimes. It remains to this day the number one statute that governs federal immigration. We continue to bring in roughly 1 million legal immigrants a year, give or take, all due to Hart Cellers, this law that goes back now 60 plus years. There have been some attempts to bring that number down, there was the Raise act that was bandied about during the first Trump administration. Unfortunately, it didn't go very far. So at the time that hart Cellars passed 1965, there were an estimated 100 to 150,000 Muslims living in the United States at the time of the 2020 United States religion census, which is a different census than the normal census, but also happens every 10 years. So in 2020, there were 4.5 million Muslims in the U.S. so from 1965 to 2020, that number increased by a lot, from about 100,000, give or take, to four and a half million on current trajectories. By the year 2050, that number is estimated to nearly double to 8.1 million. Now, as far as who these individuals are, well, there was a Pew Research study that's a little dated. Admittedly goes back to 2017. So back in 2017, roughly 58% of American Muslims were first generation Americans, meaning that they were born initially in another country there. So we all hear about a lot of immigrants, but unfortunately also a lot of naturalized citizens. A lot of naturalized citizens here. When you look at these horrific terrorist attacks over the past two weeks, you have the Senegal men in Austin. You've got the two ISIS inspired teenagers outside Gracie Mansion, New York City, you've got Old Dominion now you've got this Michigan synagogue there. These are naturalized citizens. Terrible. Absolutely terrible stuff. Who are we giving citizenship to in this country? What are we doing here? What in the world are we doing? Shouldn't we be vetting a little more carefully before we just dole out citizenship? It makes you just want to pull your hair out. And this is not even getting in, by the way, to Somali fraud, a topic that we've been covering on the show for months now. I'm thinking about some of the metrics when it comes to Somali fraud. In the state of Minnesota, the Somali community has a 54% rate of being on food stamps and a 73% rate of being on Medicaid. These people are addicted to the federal welfare state teat. When they're not bilking the teat, when they're not trying to defraud the taxpayer. They're just sucking up, all of it. You have lots of folks who are radicalizing stupid white liberals on American university campuses by flying the flags of US recognized foreign terrorist. I think back to the post October 7th year on college campuses, you had Princeton University number one university in the country according to the rankings, which had a Hezbollah flag unfurled on the Campus lawn. So you have these Muslims that are coming from these horrific countries and the radicalizing, stupid, white, impressionable, progressive liberals here in the United States. It's just awful stuff. Meanwhile, after Khamenei's assassination two weeks ago, now there's this mosque outside D.C. i believe, in Virginia, which Luke Rosiak of the Daily Wire shine a very bright spotlight on, Showing that spotlight quite nicely. They were holding a vigil, what they refer to as the Shaheed the Martyr Ali Khamenei. What? Folks, the dirty little secret is that new immigration policy and shutting off immigration from all Muslim majority countries, which we absolutely believe from the show, should be a huge priority item for the Congress and the President. Frankly, the Congress can actually do this unilaterally under section 11A2, subsection F of the Hart Sellers Act. But I digress. That's for another day. Shutting off immigration from these countries will only go so far. You have, as horrible as it is to hear, as much as you don't want to hear it, I don't want to hear it. A massive, radicalized, subversive, fifth column American Muslim population here in the United States. That's just the reality. Now, each and every one of these individuals who demonstrably, verifiably has ties or has loyalty to foreign terrorist organizations who are not a citizen yet. So someone like Mahmoud Khalil comes to mind, you know, AKA Zormandani's Iftar dining buddy there in Gracie Mansion, they should be deported immediately, post haste, no questions asked, period. End of story. But we're gonna have to get our hands a little dirtier than that, too. There is such thing as denaturalization is codified in the US Code at 8. US Code section 1451, Revocation of Naturalization. If someone has been wrongly, erroneously naturalized as a citizen, but that person has demonstrable loyalties to a foreign terrorist organization, they should be denaturalized. Heck, I mentioned this mosque outside D.C. they're having a vigil for the Shaheed the Martyr Ali Khamenei. Every single person who is there who is worshiping the Shaheed Ali Khamenei, and that person is a naturalized citizen. That's pretty fair game to at least commence an investigation when it comes to denaturalization, if we don't. If we'd only denaturalize this now dead scumbag in Virginia, the guy who was previously convicted of material support, isis, if you only denaturalized him, we wouldn't have a dead Brandon Shaw, the Roth instructor, would we? So Two weeks. Wouldn't have a dead Brennan Shaw. If the judge, who I believe is actually a George W. Bush judge, whole nother issue, this judge had actually sentenced him accordingly to the actual sentencing guidelines. We wouldn't have a dead Brennan Shaw either. So just a lot of, ah, I hate to be so negative going into a weekend there, but just a lot makes you just want to tear your freaking hair out. I want to talk also just for a moment here to my, to my fellow Jews as well. This latest attack on a synagogue is unfortunately highly unsurprising. As I mentioned, Dearborn, Michigan is a hotbed of Hezbollah, a hotbed of Shiite extremism. This was so eminently foreseeable. I have had this thought when it comes to the Michigan, the Detroit, Michigan Jewish community for a very, very long time. They really should be on such high alert with such a highly radicalized, problematic population so near to there, folks. I've been saying from the top of my lungs screaming it for years that Jews in this country must arm themselves. You should have learned this lesson after the Tree of Life shooting in Pittsburgh in 2018. After the shooting at the Chabad of Poway in San Diego in 2019 where the rabbi lost a finger taking down this jihadist. There was a machete attack that same year in 2019 at a Hanukkah party in Muncie, a very Orthodox community in New York State. How many times do you have to learn this? You have now an attack in Michigan. You have Tucker Carlson going off on unhinged rants against Chaba, the most peaceful, loving, full of Simcha, full of happiness organization in the entire Jewish world. You have Candace Owens saying that Israel wants to kill children, American children. Next you have all this demonic stuff happening all across the spectrum from Mamdani and Mehdi Hasan and Chenk Uyghur on the Jew heading left to these scumbags on the Jew heading right. People are afraid. People are on edge and understandably so. Anecdotally, all around here in South Florida, in the Jewish community where I live, there's police, cops. There's cops everywhere. Everyone is on edge. But you can and you should take matters into your own hands as much as possible. You absolutely ought to take advantage, folks, of the second Amendment. You should buy firearms and you should train with firearms. And not just one. I suggest multiple. I carry every single day of my life a firearm, a backup mag, and a knife as well for good measure. You should have additional guns as well. I have an amazing rifle, a rifle that has two.32 round mags, 150 round mag with iron sights, a red dot sight, a strap, you name it, fore grip. I've got it all loaded up. You should take those weapons. You should get them, you should train with them. Jewish history should compel you that you really have no more responsible option than that. Jewish history should mean, if nothing else, that we are a vulnerable population consistently targeted and that you should take advantage and try to defend yourself. I think sometimes about the opening line of Psalms chapter 144. We call it Tehillim, that would be the book of Psalms in Hebrew, chapter 144, which begins of David, Blessed is the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for battle, my fingers for war. Jews are a peace seeking, peace loving people. This is Shabbat on Friday. Shabbat shalom. Shalom means peace, but prepare always for war, just in case it comes, folks, take a look at something else. Have a short commercial break. Heather Johnson joins us to unpack all this much more. Stay with us with Heather Johnson on the other side. Welcome back. So join us now to unpack all of these issues that we've been discussing as well as much more is today's guest. Today's guest is Heather Johnson. Heather is the founder and executive director of the U.S. israel Education Association. You can follow her on X. HEATHERJISRAEL Heather joins us from the great state of Alabama. Heather, we really appreciate you joining the Josh Hammer Show. I've seen some of your recent commentary, Heather, and I want to kind of tee our conversation with this, which is a lot of folks can't quite put in their minds the connection between what is happening halfway around the world when it comes to this joint US Israel military operation against the Iranian regime, on the one hand, with what have now been four high profile Islamic terrorist attacks here on the home front. On the other hand, there is a clear nexus. I think it's a little hard for some people to see. Can you try to elaborate on that and try to draw that connection at least as you perhaps see it?
D
Yes. Well, Josh, thank you for having me and the great work that you're doing to bring all of this to light. It's never been more important. And I think that you have hit the nail on the head in saying that what happens in the Middle east does not stay in the Middle east, that we see a radical cleric Islamist regime with Iran at the helm of that and the IRGC or the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. And what we understand very, very clearly is that we are dealing with a proxy situation that is supported by Iran that is literally all over the world. Radical Islam has terrorist cells in South America, North America, Asia, literally on every single continent. They have a mandate, a theme, an understanding that the Jews are not to remain alive, that they're not to exist on the face of the earth today. And then the second is to take down Western civilization. And so we see a chronic problem, of course, as we're attacking Iran today, as we are at the choke point of global oil supply, you can imagine the fury of this regime that it does not want to go down. 850,000 in number. It is not willing to go down anytime soon. It is going to hold out to the last second. Yes, they are genocidal, but they're not that genocidal. They want to stay in power. They want their proxies in the United States to bring down our economy, to exhaust us, to disrupt global supply, and to frankly terrorize the United States of America. That's what we see.
B
Heather Johnson is the founder and executive director of the U.S. israel Education Association. You can follow them on X at USIeducation. Heather, one thing that we've been wrestling with here on the show for the past couple weeks is actually the topic of my column that just came out earlier today is what does victory in this operation actually look like? And perhaps a corollary to that is do you think that there are the same definitions of victory for the United States and Israel, or are there slightly different nuanced definitions of victory for these two countries when it comes to this current operation against Iran?
D
Well, I would say they are nuanced and slightly different from each other. I think. Israel, of course, is facing this existential threat, a tiny nation the size of New Jersey located next to Iran not too far away, with proxies all across the borders, that is on three sides of their state. They live with Iran's proxies. So they have it as an immediate and existential problem that they could be annihilated by this regime that would get into their hands a nuclear bomb, which they have threatened time and again. And they have the enriched uranium to go do that. Actually, 11 bombs, which they bragged about to Steve Witkoff, our Middle east envoy. Israel sees it this way. That's why you've got a 93% support in the state of Israel, even though they are clamoring and running into bomb shelters three or four times a day. Every Israeli wants to see the demise of this regime. I think to bring down the regime is a mutual goal because when you've got such a power broker in the region as Iran has been, and because they perform constantly such an asymmetric war that is, we're going to bomb the oil refineries in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, we're going to take down desalination plants and we're going to attack everything sideways because we don't know how to go to war conventionally. We're going to bomb theaters in the United States and we're going to do all of these things. So I believe that we understand this regime needs to go. And I do think that would be probably the top goal in the most understated sort of way in the United States and Israel. That would be a top line thing. With that goes the nuclear program, with that goes the will and the desire to support these proxies in the region. If you get a moderate leader in office there or running The Iranian people, 93 million to be exact, you've got a different day in the Middle east. If we can change the regime. Now, I think the stated and express purpose of the United States is to help liberate the Iranian people, which we want to see happen. Nobody wants to see them under this horrible Islamic terrorizing regime that blinds people that are protesting and buries people alive and has no mercy, is unrelenting toward their own people. But more importantly, I think for the United States national security interest, we have to take down this regime. We have to embolden a new group of people to come forward. And I think that's really the underlying work between Israel and the United States today, while at the same time bringing down their nuclear program, dealing a major blow to their security apparatus throughout the country, where they're not going to be able to continue with their ballistic missile program or nuclear, God willing.
B
And from your lips to God's ears, really, that's frankly, all that I can say about that. But for now, I think the onus is on the US Initial to keep the pressure up. And based on all that, I can tell that pressure is definitely going to continue for the foreseeable future. Heather, there are a lot of folks, I know you see it. I see it. There are a lot of folks that are trying to take advantage of this situation and they're trying to do so in a rather sordid way. They're trying to say that Donald Trump is Bibi Netanyahu's puppet and America is fighting, is fighting Israel's war and all these tropes and conspiracies and just oftentimes just outright bigoted, hateful things that have been said in various circles for many decades now, folks like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson just peddling a lot of this. And to me, this is all part of a broader effort to break apart the Jewish Christian Biblical Alliance. I'm curious if that is how you see it. And ultimately my working thesis is that this is nothing less than a war on the United States and by extension Western civilization itself. Because without that biblical alliance, Heather, you don't get the west, do you?
D
Well, you have hit the nail on the head again. And I think, Josh, your efforts on this program are magnanimous toward this whole problem that you just stated. I think we have a holy war going on. And with that holy war, it is in the interest of our enemies, that is Islamic radical clerics, to divide and conquer our nations, our leadership, and to do that through propaganda, through media. And then you have our whole Christian right that is sort of going sideways in some ways on this, adopting certain views, I would call it the lazy route that is assigning collective guilt to Jews is an intellectual failure. Absolutely. And so when we try to pit one prime minister against a president like we're doing today with the United States and Israel, we see some of that happening. That is a lazy intellectual failure on behalf of so many people that do not look into history and don't want to grapple with history, the economy, the social understanding of these things, the biblical understanding of it, and really the importance of the national security issues that are at stake in our countries.
B
No doubt about that and very well said, certainly on your front. So, folks, Heather Johnson again is the founder and executive director of the U.S. israel Education Association. Follow them on XSI Education. Heather, just about 30 seconds left, but before I let you go, tell us a little bit more about your organization. Where can folks find out about it?
D
Well, we are taking Congress to Israel. The senior members of Congress go with us on advanced education trips where we go through Judea and Samaria. We understand the top collaborative relationship between the United States and Israel. We meet with all the top leaders along with those forerunning opportunities in the region like the Abraham Accords. We have legislation on Capitol Hill that is capturing a lot of that collaboration and really helping the Arab community come together with Israel. That is a real focus of ours, educating and serving members of Congress to that end. So my website is or my email is heathersieducation.org well, it's wonderful and deeply
B
important work that you are doing and certainly I know in a personal note that I am very grateful for to thank you and God bless you for all I do, folks, Heather Johnson. Follow her on X. HeatherJ. Israel, founder and executive director of the U.S. israel Education Association. Heather, God bless you. Thank you for all you do. And stop by again soon if you can.
D
Thank you, Josh.
B
You bet. Take care and have a great weekend, folks. Stay with us through a short commercial break. We'll be right back with much more on the other side. Welcome back. So this debate continues, as you heard in our conversation there with Heather. We talked with Eric Stockblack yesterday. My column, which you can read everywhere in Newsweek, Los Angeles Times, Town Hall, PJ Media, Hot Air, etc. Is on this question as to what is victory in Operation Epic Fury? And as we've been saying now for two weeks since the war started, victory is defined as the neutralization of Iran as a threat to the United States and our interests. There is then this secondary question that is raised from that premise, which is what is is the relationship between neutralization of Iran as a threat and the goal of, quote, unquote, regime change? And the answer is complicated because what we've been saying for a while, and I continue to feel this way, is that in theory, in theory, it is possible to have the neutralization of the Islamic Republic as a threat without full scale regime change. In theory, and in fact, there's actually a decent chance this happens where the regime is so decimated, is so decapitated, so knows that if they step out of line, that the overwhelming American and or Israeli air power essentially blow them to smithereens, that they will act in line. This is essentially the Delsey Rodriguez model in Venezuela. I'm a huge fan of Francis Rod Coppola and the Godfather series. I think back to the opening scenes of the Godfather Part one, where you have Vito Corleone and then Luca Barrassi talking about making an offer that you can't refuse. That's basically what we're talking about here. Is that possible when you have radical 72 virgins in heaven, aspiring Islamists? Well, I don't know. So the ideal goal here is clearly full scale regime change. But that's going to have to happen from the Iranian people, Bibi Netanyahu actually saying that himself over in Israel saying that from his country's perspective, Israel is doing all that it can to facilitate the conditions, to help the Iranian people rise up. Certainly that's what the United States CENTCOM is doing as well. Ultimately, the Iranian people have to take this into their own hands. Meanwhile, just some various updates for you from across the battleground, from across the region and how things are going so tragically, there was a tragic incident where all six US Crew members on a refueling jet were killed over the skies of Iraq. Just a horrific, horrific, terrible story. US CENTCOM announcing that this early on Friday morning a KC135 plane went down approximately 2:00pm Eastern Time. This is on Thursday, wasn't reported really until Friday. And we do not believe this was hostile fire. We don't believe it was friendly fire right now. All we know is that it's being investigated. So the death toll for president members is tragically continues to rise for the time being. And meanwhile, Iran from their perspective, the Pentagon, we had this joint press conference this morning from Pete Hegseth and Dan Kaine. The Pentagon is saying that Iran's missile and drone stockpile have severely depleted 90 to 95% reduction in both their offensive missile stockpile and their attack drone stockpile, literally 90 to 95% depletion. At the same time, these sons of a, you know what, still have some weapons and they're still firing them all across the region for that matter. So a second Iranian drone was intercepted over the skies of Turkey, which is a NATO country, not really an ally. They're very problematic under the strong man, reserve tight Erdogan, but a NATO country. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia apparently has intercepted dozens of drones as well. The uae, the United Arab Emirates still getting lots of incoming fire as well. The UAE actually has been the single most hit country in this entire conflict. They've actually gotten more than double the amount of missile and drone attacks, as has Israel itself. Donald Trump not happy about this actually. Donald Trump taking to truth social media. He did this on Friday morning saying, quote, watch what happens to these deranged scumbags. Today talking about Iran, he continued, iran's navy is gone. Their air force is no longer missiles, drones and everything else are being decimated and their leaders have been wiped from the face of the earth. Donald Trump just reiterating also in no uncertain terms saying that we're going to be hitting them, the Iranians very hard over the next week. So there's really no indication whatsoever that this operation is slowing down anytime soon. As I mentioned, there was this joint press conference at the Pentagon this morning between Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Raisin Cain. Dan Cain saying that today, earlier today, Friday, March 13, is to be the heaviest day of U.S. bombing of the entire war. Secretary of War Pete Hexath had some pretty fiery words for the Iranian regime and their aiders and abettors as well, let's go ahead and actually listen to what Secretary of War P texat said this morning at the Pentagon.
E
We know the new so called, not so supreme leader is wounded and likely disfigured. He put out a statement yesterday, a weak one actually, but there was no voice and there was no video. It was a written statement. He called for unity. Apparently killing tens of thousands of protesters is his kind of unity. Iran has plenty of cameras and plenty of voice recorders. Why a written statement? I think you know why. His father dead. He's scared, he's injured, he's on the run and he lacks legitimacy. It's a mess for them. Who's in charge? Iran may not even know. With every passing hour. We know and we know they know that the military capabilities of their evil regime are crumbling. They can barely communicate, let alone coordinate. They're confused and we know it. Our response, we will keep pressing. We will keep pushing, keep advancing. No quarter. No mercy for our enemies.
B
No mercy for our enemies, says Pete Hegseth. Pretty strong stuff. Not mincing words again. Dan Kaine at that same press conference saying that today is going to be the heaviest day of bombing. So the United States not taking its foot on, off the gas pedal. We are now two weeks into this conflict and this thing is now full steam ahead, to put a mildly. Here's a little more this morning from Pete Hegseth at the Pentagon reports that
E
the Trump administration underestimated the Iran war's impact on the Strait of Hormuz. Patently ridiculous, of course. For decades, Iran has threatened shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. This is always what they do, hold the strait hostage. CNN doesn't think we thought of that. It's a fundamentally unserious report. The sooner David Ellison takes over that network, the better. Another example of a fake headline that I saw. War widening. Here's a real headline for you. For an actual patriotic press, how about Iran shrinking, Going Underground. You see, Iran's leaders are hiding in bunkers and moving into civilian areas. The only thing that is widening is our advantage. Not to mention our Gulf partners stepping up even more now, going on the offense and have always been with us on the defense with collective and integrated air defenses. Our will, it is unshakeable. Our options maximized and our capabilities still building. We're going up, they're going down. As I said from the start, President Trump holds the cards. He'll determine the pace, the tempo and the timing of this conflict. His hand firmly on the wheel as well as on the throttle setting. America first, peace through strength in action.
B
I mean, this is strong stuff. I mean, I mean, how do you not listen to that and how do you not feel inspired Again? This is an operation that is not slowing down anytime soon. They know exactly what they want to achieve here. They want to neutralize Iran as a threat and thus far they haven't quite done it yet. You have this so called ghost Ayatollah as Mushaba Khamenei is being referred to because the fact that he has apparently an amputated leg, he might be in a coma. Some people say he might be dead there. They're throwing out these written statements, but the regime is, is not sufficiently chastened, is not sufficiently decimated such that the Iranian people are capable of actually taking matters into their own hands. And as I said, while the Pentagon confirmed that 90 to 95% of their missile and drone stockpile have now been depleted, they're still firing some missiles and drones over at Saudi Arabia, uae, Qatar, frankly, Turkey, and so forth and on and on and on. Look, this weekend here are a few things that I will be looking for come Monday morning, I will check in when it comes to a few possible developments. One, Secretary Haig said they are talking about how the Arab countries in the region are now starting to join in when it comes to offensive military capabilities. Well, that's the first time frankly that I'm really hearing that I have not seen a whole lot of detail when it comes to what the Saudi emirati, Qatari, Bahraini, etc. Militaries are actually doing to assist what thus far has been pretty much exclusively a joint binational American, Israeli military offensive against the Islamic Republic of Iran. I very much hope that these Arab countries, perhaps above all the uae again, they've taken more income into any country in the entire region there. I'm not really sure exactly what the Saudi Emirati, etc. Army is waiting for. I hope to have more for you on that front on Monday. Also. How about defections? Donald Trump said at Doral, Florida earlier this week on Monday that if you are in the IRGC and you care about your life, now is the time to defect. Now is the time to try to get some sort of immunity deal, some sort of safe passage there, or else you're going to end up dead. We haven't seen a whole lot of high profile defections when it comes to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the ideological enforcers of the regime, or frankly, for that matter, when it comes to the actual conventional military apparatus and bureaucracy either. I'm hoping to see a lot more of that there. I don't know what's going to happen there, but these are just some of the, some of the markers that I'll be looking at this weekend to try to assess what's going to happen there. I'm sure it's going to be an action packed weekend. I know that. We look forward to joining you again on Monday to unpack it all, folks. Have a great rest of your weekend. Josh Hammer signing off for now. We'll be right back on Monday.
Episode: MORE Islamic Terror at Home: Enough Is Enough!
Date: March 13, 2026
Host: Josh Hammer
Guest: Heather Johnson, U.S.-Israel Education Association
This episode of The Josh Hammer Show confronts the alarming rise of radical Islamic terrorism in the U.S., focusing on a series of recent attacks linked to the ongoing U.S.-Israel military campaign against Iran (Operation Epic Fury). Josh Hammer delivers searing commentary on domestic policy failures, especially in immigration and naturalization, and discusses the ideological battle facing American and Western civilization. Special guest Heather Johnson joins to articulate the connection between global events in the Middle East and growing domestic threats — offering insight into what victory looks like and the broader implications for the U.S., Israel, and the West.
(00:36 – 12:37)
Hammer’s Opening:
The ongoing U.S.-Israel operation in Iran is paralleled by four recent lone wolf Islamic terrorist attacks in the U.S. since the operation's commencement:
Failure of Leadership:
Hammer criticizes local leaders and mainstream figures (including NYC’s mayor and media personalities like Megyn Kelly) for failing to accurately address or even acknowledge the Islamic terror motive — at times, deflecting blame onto Jewish communities or right-wing protesters.
Community Warnings Ignored:
Hammer highlights Dearborn, Michigan as a “ticking time bomb”—citing a history of Hezbollah support within the community, including public attempts to honor terrorists, and rebukes against those who call attention to such trends.
(13:42 – 24:49)
The Numbers:
Hammer outlines the dramatic demographic shift due to the Hart-Celler Act of 1965:
Critical Questions on Vetting:
Many attackers were naturalized citizens — highlighting systemic failures in the vetting process and the dangers of “societal transformation without representation.”
“Who are we giving citizenship to in this country? What are we doing here? What in the world are we doing? Shouldn’t we be vetting a little more carefully before we just dole out citizenship?”
— Josh Hammer (15:08)
Proposal: Denaturalization & Deportation:
Cites U.S. legal code (8 USC §1451) to argue for the revocation of citizenship from anyone with demonstrable ties or loyalties to terrorist organizations.
“If someone has been wrongly, erroneously naturalized as a citizen…they should be denaturalized.”
— Josh Hammer (19:43)
Call for Jewish Self-Defense:
Hammer, speaking especially to American Jews, invokes history and recent attacks in Pittsburgh, San Diego, and New York to urge greater adoption of armed self-defense.
“Jewish history should mean, if nothing else, that we are a vulnerable population consistently targeted and that you should take advantage and try to defend yourself.”
— Josh Hammer (22:25)
(24:50 – 32:54)
Connection between U.S.-Israel-Iran Conflict and Homegrown Terror:
Johnson expands on the Iranian regime’s global proxy network and its ideological aims: to eradicate Jews and “take down Western civilization.” She describes how Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and allied militias operate across every continent.
“What happens in the Middle East does not stay in the Middle East…They want their proxies in the United States to bring down our economy, to exhaust us, to disrupt global supply, and to frankly terrorize the United States of America.”
— Heather Johnson (25:15)
What Constitutes Victory?
Johnson acknowledges nuanced goals for the U.S. (regime change, neutralizing Iran, nuclear disarmament) and Israel (existential self-defense), emphasizing the necessity of dismantling the Iranian regime for security and peace.
“If we can change the regime…you’ve got a different day in the Middle East.”
— Heather Johnson (29:08)
Threat to the Judeo-Christian Alliance & Western Civilization:
Johnson argues that current events are being exploited to fracture the fundamental alliance underpinning the West. She denounces “collective guilt” rhetoric and calls for a serious, united approach rooted in historical understanding.
(33:59 – 41:48)
Operational Update:
Hammer provides the latest on the Iran offensive:
“We will keep pressing. We will keep pushing, keep advancing. No quarter. No mercy for our enemies.”
— Pete Hegseth (38:45)
Victory vs. Regime Change:
Hammer debates whether neutralizing Iran as a threat requires full-scale regime change or can be accomplished through decapitation and deterrence—likening the strategy to “an offer you can’t refuse” from The Godfather.
Looking Forward:
Hammer will monitor Arab military involvement, potential defections from Iranian leadership, and the next phases of Operation Epic Fury as signs of progress or obstacles.
On the Dearborn Synagogue attacker:
"He decided that he was going to load up his van with a bunch of explosives and try to just kill a bunch of Jewish preschool children. Yes, that is literally what this guy decided to do."
— Josh Hammer (03:11)
On media and political deflection:
"The notion that because the state of Israel is taking defensive actions against terrorist groups and therefore Jewish preschool children in Michigan should be targeted is, is essentially out of Der Stürmer. I mean, that is so disgusting Nazi-esque garbage as to make it even difficult to know how to respond."
— Josh Hammer (06:12)
Rabbi’s Response to Blame Shifting:
"Any relationship that any news organization or anyone is talking about in terms of his family's loss of life, … any connection to an attack on an American synagogue in the suburbs of metro Detroit is intensely anti-Semitic and inappropriate."
— Interview clip (05:27)
On Naturalization and Terror:
"The story should be that the U.S. allowed a foreigner from a Hezbollah family to enter the country and eventually be naturalized, and he launched a terrorist attack against a synagogue. Yes, thank you. That’s the actual story here."
— Josh Hammer (07:32)
On Calls for Jewish Self-Defense:
“Jewish history should compel you that you really have no more responsible option than that. … Prepare always for war, just in case it comes, folks.”
— Josh Hammer (22:54)
Heather Johnson on What’s at Stake:
“Radical Islam has terrorist cells in South America, North America, Asia, literally on every single continent. They have a mandate…The second [mandate] is to take down Western civilization.”
— Heather Johnson (25:18)
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s Warning:
“No quarter. No mercy for our enemies.”
— Pete Hegseth (39:49)
Josh Hammer delivers a blunt, at times incendiary, call to recognize and actively counter the threats posed by radical Islamic actors, both at home and abroad. He asserts that U.S. policy failures — particularly regarding immigration and naturalization — have enabled a “subversive fifth column” which now demands urgent and uncompromising countermeasures. The conversation with Heather Johnson expands the crisis’s global significance, connecting domestic security to the fate of Western civilization, and warning that “what happens in the Middle East does not stay in the Middle East.” The episode ends on a note of determined vigilance — awaiting further developments in the U.S.-Israel campaign against Iran and its proxies, and urging American Jews and the broader public to take active steps in self-defense and public advocacy.
