Kyle Juszczyk
I'm ready.
Claire Kittle
Good morning. We're here.
Kristen Houston
What is your. Do you guys have, like a thing?
Claire Kittle
Cut the juices of promo.
Kristen Houston
Let me make sure I look good for Emma.
Claire Kittle
Oh, connecting.
Kyle Juszczyk
There she is.
Kristen Houston
George wants to meet you.
George Kittle
Hi, Emma.
Emma
Hi.
George Kittle
How many Pro bowls have you been in?
Claire Kittle
Nine. Nine.
George Kittle
It's nuts.
Kristen Houston
Are we looking for a hologram? Bingo.
Kyle Juszczyk
We got going.
George Kittle
Hey, guys, it's the Kiddle Things.
Claire Kittle
Presented T Mobile. Hey, guys, it's Claire and George. And on today's episode of the Kiddle Things, we have some of our best friends in the whole world.
George Kittle
That's right. Kyle and Kristin Juszczyk are here to talk one thing and one thing only. I'll give you a hint. Pocket monsters. We ripped some packs together, so stick around to see if one of us scores that nice holographic card.
Claire Kittle
Okay. George and Kyle might be talking about that, but Kristin and I also talk about football, her clothing brand, and what it is like to be a Niner One. But first, a shout out to our presenting sponsor.
George Kittle
T Mobile is the best network in the game, and now the best network in America. It's coverage that keeps up wherever your route takes you.
Claire Kittle
And between us and news checks, we know how important coverage is. It wins games, it wins championships, and it wins you the best network in America.
George Kittle
Now let's go. Oh, yes.
Claire Kittle
There we go.
George Kittle
One of my all time favorite Halloween costumes. Oh, my goodness.
Claire Kittle
Cortana and Master Chief.
George Kittle
Well, I had the idea to be master Chief and Claire's like, well, what am I going to be? I was like, well, you don't want to be a covenant, a lead, or a brute. I'm not going to make you do that. But I was like, would you want to be Cortana? And I showed her all the different, like, versions of Cortana from, you know, the first game to the fifth game, whatever it was. She was like, I can make it work. And she made it work.
Claire Kittle
Yeah. You loved that.
Kyle Juszczyk
Take me back.
Claire Kittle
That's hilarious. I had like 6 inch heels on there too.
George Kittle
Those were platform heels. Yeah, you were so tall. It was actually hilarious because you were like six, three. You tired over.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
George Kittle
And then my thing, I couldn't go to the bathroom without help, which is pretty funny. And that thing was a sweatsuit you.
Claire Kittle
Had to take a buddy with.
George Kittle
But I had this huge chest piece. The back of the chest piece connected. For those listening. You can visually see this, but it was like a foot in front and a foot behind. And so literally, I would just hit people as I tried to walk through a crowd and it fell off a couple times with Velcro, but overall it.
Claire Kittle
Was a great hit. It was a hit though.
George Kittle
It was a hit. Claire and I are always locked in a prank war at home. It never really stops. But there's one thing we both agree on. Little Caesars is no joke. Whether you're grabbing a few large hot and ready pizzas for a tailgate or having all your favorites delivered right to your doorstep, Little Caesars is the real deal. All right, let's get into Kittlebits sponsored by Little Caesars before she figures out what her next move is.
Claire Kittle
What's been the best prank on your team? Like in the locker room.
George Kittle
Last year, one of the rookie offensive linemen didn't do what he was supposed to do in the room. Rookie linemen have responsibilities. And so one of our veteran offensive linemen stole his keys and filled his entire car with packaging peanuts while we were on a road trip. And they were completely stacked all the way to the top to the ceiling. I need it to both rookies. And so we got back from our trip and they got home, what it was like 1am they opened their car door and it's just full of packaging peanuts. That was pretty good.
Claire Kittle
Oh, that'd be a nightmare.
George Kittle
Nightmare. Shout out, Little Caesar. Oh, if I hit this bucket though.
Kristen Houston
Oh.
George Kittle
1.
Kristen Houston
There you go, Shaq.
Claire Kittle
Shooting a free throw.
George Kittle
74.
Kyle Juszczyk
Oh, we made it.
George Kittle
What's up, guys? I'm George Kittle, back with another episode of the Kittle Things here with my wonderful co host and wife Claire Kittle. And we are so excited today to bring you two of our great, fantastic, bestest friends in the whole wide world. None other than nine time Pro bowl fullback. Best in the world. Best to ever be future hall of famer Kyle Uscz.
Kyle Juszczyk
Good to be here, guys.
Kristen Houston
Good to be here.
George Kittle
And the real star of the show, Claire's best friend, owner and operator of the off season brand where you see all over everywhere, every sports, college game day, NFL walk ins. It's everywhere. His lovely wife Kristen Houston. And they're also friends of the show. Unfortunately, Pierogi and Mutzi could not be here. The wonderful dogs will put photos up over their faces for the whole show.
Kyle Juszczyk
Leave it there the whole time.
Claire Kittle
Deenie's best friends.
Kristen Houston
Deenie's best friends or arch nemesis depending on the day.
George Kittle
Depends on the day. But thanks for being here guys.
Kyle Juszczyk
Thanks for having us. I know, so fun.
Kristen Houston
I'm so excited for you guys.
Claire Kittle
Thanks for being here in official capacity, not just to hang out with us.
Kristen Houston
Oh, true.
George Kittle
I know.
Kristen Houston
Regardless, when you guys call, we'll go.
George Kittle
And we get to hang out after this. Again.
Kyle Juszczyk
What a day.
Claire Kittle
We have a full day. Full slice. Cheers, guys.
George Kittle
Cheers. Cheers.
Kristen Houston
Oh, gosh. Nice. I wanted some of that clean up on aisle six.
George Kittle
That's only for beer. Let's see. What's the first thing I want to talk about, Claire?
Claire Kittle
How we met these two.
George Kittle
Oh, yeah.
Claire Kittle
Way back in the. In the day.
George Kittle
Let's see. We'll start with that. A little prequel. This is how I. This is how I sit when I want to show off my shoes.
Kyle Juszczyk
Okay.
George Kittle
Because there's usually underneath. So if you ever see me leaning back, it's to show off my sneakers for the day.
Kyle Juszczyk
These are my new sneakers as well.
Kristen Houston
I see you're not in turbo mode.
George Kittle
No, no, I'm in. Very relaxed. See, we're hanging on the couch in the living room. That's the whole point in your Pokemon Crocs, where to be comfortable. I forgot to say in your introduction how you've been in the league. This is year 13.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yep.
George Kittle
You're the. You're the most experienced 29 year old.
Kyle Juszczyk
Exactly.
George Kittle
In the NFL. Juice is 29.
Kyle Juszczyk
I got him at 16.
George Kittle
Don't fact check me on his age, but he's 29. And I learned that from Juice because I'm also 29.
Kristen Houston
Same.
George Kittle
It's one of the best things.
Kyle Juszczyk
Perpetually 29.
George Kittle
I think that's one of the best things I learned from Juice as I've gotten older. But our friendship really kicked off, like, halfway through 2018. And then it's just been kind of just doing this ever since then. From golf trips to Cabo to Spirit Bros. Which is a football play. To Zorro, Zelda, Xerox.
Claire Kittle
Yeah. Best in the world.
George Kittle
Bobcat, Zorro, Big cat. Zorro Cat.
Claire Kittle
What are those things?
George Kittle
Yeah, those are all run plays.
Kyle Juszczyk
Zap. Zap.
Kristen Houston
I know that you guys are both walking at the same time.
George Kittle
If you ever see those cool plays where me or Juice is running one direction and then we block one guy together. Those are called Spirit Bros. Plays.
Kyle Juszczyk
Those are our favorite plays. Those are really fun.
George Kittle
We're very good at those.
Kristen Houston
Crazy when we see those.
George Kittle
Those are very fun, and they're really good at it.
Kyle Juszczyk
Very effective.
Kristen Houston
They are very good at it.
George Kittle
No, it's pretty fun. Me and Juice are the best in the world at doing that block.
Claire Kittle
There's literally no one else with a spear.
George Kittle
Yeah, it's. That's sick. Cheers to us.
Claire Kittle
Cheers to you guys.
George Kittle
It's fun, too. Because, like, we won't do it for the entire off season. And, like, the first time we get the opportunity in training camp, it just works absolutely perfectly and just like, ah, yeah.
Kristen Houston
I feel like you guys start the game off on that play.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah, a lot of times we do. Unfortunately, after nine years, the teams have started to pick up.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
So we got to mix it up a little bit. But it definitely is one of our top plays.
George Kittle
It really is.
Kristen Houston
Kyle and I were reflecting on that first year last night when we were out to dinner.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
Oh, it was such a crazy year on so many, like, 2017. Yeah. Because there was no leadership. Right. Because the whole team. Well, barely.
George Kittle
Besides Joe Staley was a lot.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. Yeah.
Kristen Houston
The whole team was new. So, like, from the.
Kyle Juszczyk
I think there was three players. Players that were left over from the previous roster.
George Kittle
I just remember when I got drafted there, they cut, like, 25 dudes.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
So it was awkward.
George Kittle
It was really weird. Yeah.
Kristen Houston
Yeah. And then the guys who stayed were probably. It's just uncomfortable because the guys that they were playing with weren't there. It's all fresh meat.
George Kittle
They all got to get rid of everything.
Kyle Juszczyk
No. We were talking about how it was funny. I actually missed my first 49ers meeting when I signed this team. Yeah. So, like, they gave us, like, an itinerary, and it, like, stopped at, like, 4:00 clock or something. And then I didn't realize on the backside, we were all signing pages, all signing agents.
Kristen Houston
He went to Harvard.
Kyle Juszczyk
All the free agents were supposed to be at the hotel at, like, 7 or 8 o' clock for, like, a meet and greet. And it was that. It was a weird year. We literally had, like, 17 free agent signings. Like, now you have, like, three a year.
George Kittle
Hoyer, Logan Paulson.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yes. Marquise Goodwin, myself, Malcolm Smith. Like, there were so many of them.
Kristen Houston
Oh, my God.
Kyle Juszczyk
And so we were just.
Kristen Houston
We went out to dinner.
Kyle Juszczyk
We just went to dinner. And Santana.
Kristen Houston
We went to Santana Row for the first time.
Kyle Juszczyk
Like, exploring. Yeah.
Kristen Houston
We went to that tequila bar. Yeah. And we were just. That was our first restaurant we ever went to. Like the outdoor one in the middle.
George Kittle
That's one's the.
Kristen Houston
And I remember Kyle got a text from Bobby T. And you know that, like, sheer panic when it hits your face, I'm like, is everything okay?
George Kittle
I'm supposed to be in a meeting right now.
Claire Kittle
What do you do? Leave immediately?
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. No, I mean, we left.
Kristen Houston
I know he left.
George Kittle
All of it.
Kyle Juszczyk
Ended up being fine. And, like, Bobby T. Still talks about it to this day. In almost every meeting that we have with the running backs.
Kristen Houston
But he's.
Kyle Juszczyk
He flips it to be a good thing that I was looking for housing, like, right away to bring that all full circle. What I was just trying to get is, like, it was different because, you know, you were a rookie coming into the league. I had already been in the league for four years and now I was on, like, a new team.
George Kittle
Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
So, like, we were all kind of like trying to find our parents.
Kristen Houston
Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
You guys were all living in that apartment with all the other rookie and Celica.
Kristen Houston
And we lived far away. And I remember just being so jealous, like, seeing you guys all hang out, have no friends.
Kyle Juszczyk
So it took a year or two until we got to really, like, spend a lot of time together.
Kristen Houston
But there was no, like, you know, girls hanging out or organized events. Really the first, like, couple. No one knew what was going on to do. Yeah. And we also took a year.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah, we weren't very good.
George Kittle
We were horrible until week 11. Then we were awesome.
Kyle Juszczyk
Then we were awesome.
George Kittle
Then we were really good at football.
Kristen Houston
But Kyle would always be like, I don't even remember what the. What we were at. Let's call it 3 and 10. And Kyle would be like, we're winning this.
Kyle Juszczyk
Oh, no. We were.09.
George Kittle
Yeah, we were owing.
Claire Kittle
Still going to win. We didn't even have three, but we.
Kyle Juszczyk
Finished six and ten. That's impressive.
Kristen Houston
Yeah.
Claire Kittle
You ended it the five game.
Kristen Houston
Four in a row.
George Kittle
Five game win streak.
Claire Kittle
Five games that year.
Kristen Houston
I remember the.
Kyle Juszczyk
Well, CJ won the first game.
George Kittle
He won the game against the Giants. Then we played Seattle and lost.
Kyle Juszczyk
And then that's when Jimmy came in.
George Kittle
C.J. got hurt. Jimmy came in and played five straight games. We won all five.
Kristen Houston
Yeah, I remember Kyle running around the house. We saw Jimmy Garoppolo. We're like, there is light at the end of this.
Kyle Juszczyk
That was big for us.
George Kittle
You know what else is really fun? Talking about how you guys met.
Kristen Houston
Okay, well, we met the same way you guys met.
George Kittle
No, you guys did not meet in college. You were in college. He wasn't.
Claire Kittle
Oh, me and Kyle.
Kristen Houston
I thought you meant me and Claire.
George Kittle
Oh, yeah, that was my segue.
Kristen Houston
Oh, my gosh. Okay. I had just transferred to Towson University. Shout out. Tigers.
Claire Kittle
We watched them yesterday.
George Kittle
Tigers.
Kyle Juszczyk
Tigers.
Kristen Houston
And you know we're gonna bring in Uncle John into this.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yes, Uncle Jay.
Kristen Houston
I have an uncle. As do we all. And his name is Uncle John.
Kyle Juszczyk
You do have an uncle.
Kristen Houston
As all of them are, by the way. Everyone has an Uncle John. I feel like, yeah. And my cousin was going to a nearby college, and he got tickets to go see the Ravens. I had never been to an NFL game before, so she didn't want to go. And so he texted me, like, do you want to come to the game? I'm like, yeah, of course. Why not? I've never been sure they were playing the Panthers.
Claire Kittle
Yes, we were.
Kristen Houston
Was Christian on the team?
George Kittle
No.
Kristen Houston
No, it was Fiona.
Kyle Juszczyk
This was 2014.
Kristen Houston
You're right. Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
He was in high school.
Kristen Houston
Yeah. You're aging yourself. No. You're 29. Yeah. You're 29.
George Kittle
Zip it. Holy.
Kristen Houston
And so we went to the game. They were playing the Panthers. You guys were whooping, beating that.
Kyle Juszczyk
Like, on the floor with them. And we were in our black uniforms. We looked sick that day.
Claire Kittle
Kristen thought so, too.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. I kicked Luke Kiku's. Oh, sorry, Luke.
George Kittle
Sorry. Not sorry, Luke. It's tough.
Kristen Houston
Anyway, so we got nosebleed seats, but they were whooping. Everyone left. Like, it was like a 30 point difference.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
So, you know, Uncle Johnny's like, let's go behind the bench. Let's go down.
George Kittle
Let's get down there.
Kristen Houston
Okay. And so we go behind the bench. And long story short, I saw Kyle on the field and thought he was very handsome. And then I had, like, the pamphlet because it was like my first NFL game. Like, I was taking everything that they.
Kyle Juszczyk
Were giving to me.
Kristen Houston
And I was looking through the pamphlet and I saw you, and I was like, oh, my God, he's only 23. Like, that's. I thought they were like, 45.
Emma
And then.
Kristen Houston
And then I'm like, he went to Harvard. Okay, check. Yeah, I went to Aunt Lisa as a joke.
Kyle Juszczyk
And I was like, as a joke.
Kristen Houston
I'm gonna marry that guy one day, I swear to God.
Kyle Juszczyk
Called her shot.
Claire Kittle
She did.
George Kittle
Look at you.
Kristen Houston
I know. You know, that's she puts her mind to something.
George Kittle
That's pretty sick.
Claire Kittle
Done.
Kristen Houston
A few weeks later, I told my friends about it, and they were like, just request him on Facebook. Because it was before. Really? Instagram. We're aging ourselves again.
Kyle Juszczyk
I know.
Kristen Houston
So I requested him on Facebook, and then Kyle started liking my pictures from, like, five years ago.
Kyle Juszczyk
Very strategic.
Claire Kittle
That's how you do it. That's how you do it.
Kyle Juszczyk
Not just older pictures, like, you know, that showed that I was scrolling pictures of only Kristen, no other friends in the picture. I'm not worried about them. I'm only liking the solo pics.
George Kittle
That's fantastic.
Kyle Juszczyk
Deep down, not creepy.
Kristen Houston
There is this one photo, and I can send it to you guys, this is a hoop photo.
Claire Kittle
Should we put it up? Yeah.
Kristen Houston
It's me in a sunflower field, and I'm like, holding a.
Kyle Juszczyk
That's how I knew she was the one.
Kristen Houston
And that's the one that got him.
Kyle Juszczyk
I'm dead serious. It just showed. Like this. This is a good girl, ladies.
Kristen Houston
Trying to get yourself a man?
Kyle Juszczyk
Take solo pics in a sunflower field.
George Kittle
What a nice girl.
Kyle Juszczyk
You will. I guarantee you'll find a man like, what is that?
Claire Kittle
That's the great thing.
Kristen Houston
He never messaged me. Like, he was just liking it. He was just being a creeper and liking my face.
George Kittle
You gotta play the game. You're just simmering low. Simmer, low burn.
Kyle Juszczyk
Let them come to you.
George Kittle
Kind of.
Kristen Houston
So, long story short, he never messaged me. Few weeks went by. I was telling my friends about it at another pregame.
Kyle Juszczyk
It wasn't a few weeks. It was seven days. Oh, I remember a week.
Claire Kittle
Yikes.
Kristen Houston
I got a little liquid courage and I just messaged him and I said, hey, why you liking my photo?
George Kittle
How many Y's were in the hay?
Kyle Juszczyk
Oh, I'd have definitely a double.
George Kittle
Hey.
Kyle Juszczyk
A double Y. I feel like.
Kristen Houston
Yeah.
Claire Kittle
Hey.
Kristen Houston
Hey.
Kyle Juszczyk
I have the screenshot.
George Kittle
Yes.
Kristen Houston
And I just said, hey, what are the chances I'll bump into you downtown?
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. And I said, we had a game that week. And I was like, chances are not very good this weekend. But what I'd love. I'd love to go to dinner or something, right?
Kristen Houston
Actually, he was like, do you want to come over or do you want.
Claire Kittle
To go to dinner?
Kristen Houston
I'm like, come over. I don't know you, you psychopath.
George Kittle
It was a test. It was a test.
Kristen Houston
He was testing.
Claire Kittle
So you picked dinner.
Kristen Houston
So I picked dinner.
George Kittle
Smart.
Kristen Houston
And we went to dinner and I was so nervous cuz I was only 20 years old. It was literally like a blind date. I was like, I could be getting catfished here before you finish the story.
Kyle Juszczyk
We literally closed down the restaurant. We were there for like three and a half hours. That's fun. Neither of us were willing to get up to go pee, even though we both had to go so bad. So, like, after three and a half hours, we're like, all right, they're closing the restaurant. We should probably go pee before we leave.
George Kittle
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
We had the best time and we just knew right away.
Kyle Juszczyk
I really did.
George Kittle
Sometimes the best plays are the simple ones. A QB sneak, a pass, your favorite tight end.
Claire Kittle
Simple, Fresh.
George Kittle
Is that a new play?
Claire Kittle
Nope. It's one of Lysol's air Sanitizer scents. So now when you bring the smell of practicing all day into our home, I can use Lysol ear sanitizer to tackle 99.9% of odor causing bacteria in the air in the.
George Kittle
Incredible.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yep.
Claire Kittle
And there are a bunch of different scents to try. Use Lysol air sanitizer to share the love, not the sting.
George Kittle
For example, I love running the plays. It's really fun to play football, but I hate memorizing the playbook sometimes. And now that I'm in year nine, it's easier for me because I'm comfortable with the offense. But there was a time where I was having you read all the plays off to me so I could study.
Claire Kittle
I would read them out and then you would run the little route where.
George Kittle
You'Re supposed to go, which is really fun. In a small apartment trying to go through a full motion and a full play. You know, just for a throwback. Let's just read off one of these old plays from years ago. You try to tell me what I do on this play. Okay. Hey, to east left. Zen fox z cheat fake top 38 per dog. Can it with three scat y Chevy. F plaster on two. Ready, break.
Claire Kittle
Three scat yf, Chevy. That's your part.
George Kittle
Well, it's a can, so if there's. If we don't like the look on the first play.
Kristen Houston
Can.
George Kittle
Can. Yep. Don't tell everybody what our can is. Thanks, Claire. Everybody knows. I know it's pretty obvious. We do fake ones too, but. Yeah, no, that was a fun. That's a fun play to. It's like a cool pass to Purdy. Really exciting. But you hear that stuff and you're.
Kristen Houston
Like.
George Kittle
I go here and I do this. Yeah, it's really fun. You'll see me in the huddle doing that sometimes.
Claire Kittle
Next, we're going to do a segment called UI and AI where we're gonna test Kristin and Kyle about how much they know about each other versus what AI knows about them.
George Kittle
So we asked AI on this.
Kristen Houston
She's a little creepy.
Kyle Juszczyk
I am a little scared because she has a relationship with Chat.
George Kittle
She does.
Claire Kittle
Yeah. That's.
Kyle Juszczyk
So he knows a lot about it.
Claire Kittle
I say Chat's her boyfriend. I'm like, kristen, text your boyfriend to figure this out.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
Literally, he gets mad at how I talk to him.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. I don't like it. I don't like the way he talks to you.
George Kittle
Oh, dear.
Kyle Juszczyk
Okay.
Claire Kittle
Okay, we're gonna get into it then. On that note. Okay.
George Kittle
Chad might get his. All right.
Claire Kittle
Okay. Kyle taught Kristen how to crochet.
Kyle Juszczyk
That would be her grandmother. Yeah.
George Kittle
Ding, ding, ding. Good job. Perfect. All right, Chris, what was the name of Kyle's freshman dorm building at Harvard?
Claire Kittle
Do you remember?
Kristen Houston
Oh, boy. Oh, oh, oh, I do. Because it's a skincare brand. Thayer.
Kyle Juszczyk
Thayer. Thayer.
Kristen Houston
Thayer.
Kyle Juszczyk
Thayer is correct.
George Kittle
That's how that word is showing.
Claire Kittle
That's not it. That's a different one.
Kyle Juszczyk
That was sophomore year on. That's forzheimer.
George Kittle
Oh, AI, did you say it?
Claire Kittle
Pforzheimer.
Kyle Juszczyk
Pforzheimer. AKA foho.
Kristen Houston
So what's right?
Kyle Juszczyk
And our Christmas party was the fohoho.
Claire Kittle
So AI was wrong.
George Kittle
AI was wrong.
Kyle Juszczyk
It's actually. That's the faux ho ho.
Kristen Houston
The fo ho ho.
Claire Kittle
We got to put that in the Christmas bar. Okay, what is Kristen's favorite classic game show to watch?
Kyle Juszczyk
Classic game show.
Claire Kittle
Come on.
Kyle Juszczyk
We were really into this a couple years ago, cuz they redid it. The Weakest Link.
Kristen Houston
Uhhuh. You all the weakest link.
Claire Kittle
AI says Wheel of Fortune.
Kyle Juszczyk
It's up there.
Kristen Houston
I do like Wheel of Fortune too, but I love game shows. Like, I grew up watching game shows all the time. But we love trivia and I mean, we're really bad at it. But we love, like when somebody gets a question and we just like, scream the answer to see who does it. First time with Jeopardy.
Claire Kittle
Yeah, that's fine.
Kristen Houston
Weakest Link is really a good show.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
George Kittle
Kyle is known to love grilling. What's his favorite meal to cook?
Kristen Houston
This is like, very broad.
George Kittle
I believe in you.
Kristen Houston
He likes Buddha bowls. Buddha, Buddha, Buddha, Buddha.
Claire Kittle
What do you do?
Kyle Juszczyk
What's a Buddha bowl like?
Kristen Houston
He likes doing chickpeas, steak, a little bit of tatsoi from. From his garden. But yeah, I would say that's the right answer. What's your.
Kyle Juszczyk
No, I would say that. Yeah, that's kind of my go to.
George Kittle
AI says veggie shrimp and steak.
Kyle Juszczyk
I mean, that's not far off. I don't make a lot of shrimp.
Kristen Houston
Yeah, he's not a seafood guy.
George Kittle
I'm not AIs. Oh for two on Kyle.
Kyle Juszczyk
I'm a land animal.
Claire Kittle
She gave more description too.
George Kittle
She did.
Claire Kittle
What was Kristen's best Halloween costume?
Kyle Juszczyk
Her best Halloween costume has to be the one that she made.
Kristen Houston
I made all of them.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah, you didn't make the. The beach one.
Claire Kittle
Okay.
Kyle Juszczyk
The Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears all denim.
Claire Kittle
Correct.
George Kittle
Correct. You guys both.
Claire Kittle
That was sick.
George Kittle
What is Kyle's favorite book?
Claire Kittle
Oh, boy.
Kristen Houston
I'm gonna get this wrong.
George Kittle
Is this right?
Kyle Juszczyk
No, I've never heard of that dude.
George Kittle
AI struggles.
Kyle Juszczyk
AI knows nothing about me.
Kristen Houston
AI hates you.
Kyle Juszczyk
I'm kind of mysterious though. I also if you use chatgpt, I'm a grok guy.
George Kittle
No wonder.
Kyle Juszczyk
That might be the reason.
Kristen Houston
Okay, his favorite book.
George Kittle
You can literally say anything you want. Because he's wrong.
Kristen Houston
Well, he's reading Fourth Wing right now.
Kyle Juszczyk
Oh, I'm reading Iron Flame.
Kristen Houston
Yeah, the second one.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
Yeah. But I know you read a book previously that I have abs.
Kyle Juszczyk
I can't remember the name of it but Hail Mary.
Kristen Houston
It's like an apocalyptic type of book.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah, apocalyptic things. Yeah, it's sci fi. Like I gotta read it. Earth is kind of being.
George Kittle
It's all over Booktok.
Kyle Juszczyk
It's not good. Yeah, but it's a great book.
Claire Kittle
Do you want to read what he thought it was?
George Kittle
We thought it was Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman.
Kyle Juszczyk
Have you heard of that?
Kristen Houston
Is that like a self help book?
George Kittle
Probably. He needs a lot of it.
Kyle Juszczyk
I'm friends with George Kittle. What help do I need?
George Kittle
Last question.
Claire Kittle
What are Kristen's high school's colors?
Kyle Juszczyk
Blue and yellow.
Kristen Houston
Go Chiefs.
Kyle Juszczyk
Mass Pico Chiefs.
Claire Kittle
Blue and gold, it says.
Kristen Houston
That's right.
Claire Kittle
That's the same. My colors too.
Kristen Houston
You were blue and gold in high school? No way. What was your mascot? The Eagles.
Kyle Juszczyk
The wallet?
Claire Kittle
The Golden Eagles.
Kristen Houston
The Golden Eagles.
George Kittle
All right.
Kyle Juszczyk
Love that.
George Kittle
What's Kyle's rating on Madden 2025?
Kristen Houston
Well, it should be 100.
Kyle Juszczyk
Should be 100, not a 99.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
George Kittle
I'm wondering. The best in the world.
Kristen Houston
It's an 88.
George Kittle
Yeah.
Claire Kittle
Yeah. Good job.
George Kittle
I think the humans.
Kristen Houston
Whatever.
George Kittle
So the reason that we're actually here today and while I'm Pokemon out is because me and Juice both have an love, love, love, love it for Pokemon.
Kristen Houston
Infatuation.
George Kittle
An absolute infatuation. Someone said that rivals the love of our wives.
Kyle Juszczyk
It was in our lives before that.
George Kittle
It was.
Claire Kittle
I mean this is true.
George Kittle
I have some of my earliest memories of all time are playing Pokemon Blue, like on a Game Boy color playing that. And then it was really fun. I don't think me and Juice even know we both love Pokemon until probably like 2019.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
George Kittle
And we're just like wait, you like Pokemon?
Kyle Juszczyk
Wait a second.
Claire Kittle
Whoa.
George Kittle
Did we just.
Claire Kittle
That's really when it said Pokemon be like Pokemon.
George Kittle
Yeah. And then it went from. And now me and Juice both have emulators on our phones where we play different. Different hacked versions of Pokemon.
Claire Kittle
Legally?
Kristen Houston
I think. Legally, I think advanced levels.
George Kittle
Yeah, advanced levels. It's. We're Both pretty into it. Like, there'll be just times on a flight I'll look over, like, I'm playing Pokemon on my laptop that I've downloaded there. Pokemon Kaizo Ironmon. And I look over, and Juice is just on his emulator, on his little phone playing it. And it's just an absolute. It's an absolute great time. So, Juice, let's just start with you. Like, when did you. Like, when do you remember getting into Pokemon? Shoot.
Kyle Juszczyk
I was pretty young. I feel like I was maybe like seven or eight, right.
George Kittle
I think 96 was the first Game Boy.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. And I remember Pokemon Blue was my first Pokemon game. Was absolutely obsessed with it. Played it everywhere. Had the little. Like, the original Game Boy wasn't backlit, so you had to have, like, you know, like, reading lights that you have for, like, your.
Kristen Houston
Oh, my gosh. Really?
Kyle Juszczyk
I had that before.
George Kittle
Yeah, that's fine.
Kyle Juszczyk
And I just remember, like, on road trips, I mean, actually, literally anything I was. I had my Game Boy.
George Kittle
Could not play it.
Kyle Juszczyk
I was playing it. But, like, one of my, like, favorite, like, Christmas memories is when I got the Pokemon Yellow came out. And my. I remember I got it. I was so jacked, and I, like, fist pumped in the air. And my mom's like, you have to redo that because I have to take a picture. Like, so we have a picture of me literally holding, like, the Pokemon game, going like this.
George Kittle
I need that.
Kyle Juszczyk
I was so fired up. But that definitely was like, a formative part of my childhood was Pokemon.
George Kittle
Oh, I mean, 100%. Like, the amount of. I had the Pokemon song completely memorized. All 151. Like, go through all those. Like, my. I just remember getting Pokemon Blue. And I didn't know that you could save the game.
Kyle Juszczyk
Oh, so you're just, like, restarting it.
George Kittle
Yeah. So, like, the first, like, the first 24 hours that I had it, I would play it and I'd get to, like. I get through up to, like, Brock.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah.
George Kittle
And then I'd be like, ah. Do I just, like, turn it off? And I turn it off and I turn it back on the next day. I'm like, oh, no. It's like, I complain to my dad. I'm like, dad, the thing's broken. Like, how do I do this?
Claire Kittle
And he goes, that's so sad, Bruce.
George Kittle
Thank God. Bruce was like, at the time, like, he was. He was technology. He wasn't challenged, but, like, he could, like, he could figure stuff out. And he gets on in, like, 30 seconds. He goes, there's a save Button. And I was like, what completely changed my life?
Kristen Houston
That's.
Kyle Juszczyk
Did you play the card game?
George Kittle
Oh, yeah, Tons of card game. I still have all my original cards.
Kyle Juszczyk
I have funny memory of the card game, so. Well, one, I remember in second grade bringing like our backpacks to school and like, it was full of Pokemon.
Kristen Houston
The binders and stuff.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. And like during recess, like, we. When we would have like, indoor recess, we would all be like, playing our cards and like, trading.
George Kittle
Yep.
Kyle Juszczyk
And it like, became such a distraction that our school, like, banned Pokemon cards from course.
George Kittle
I remember that in elementary school.
Kyle Juszczyk
So annoying. But I remember in like third or fourth grade, my mom registered me for like an officially, like, Pokemon sanctioned card game tournament.
George Kittle
That's awesome.
Kyle Juszczyk
Like, we went to the trading card store and it was like, you know, in like the back room, they have all the tables set up and it was like. But I didn't know. Yeah, I didn't know. I was so young. Everyone was like 12 years older than me. And, you know, you kept your holographic cards in like the plastic casing, like. Cause you wanted to protect them. And so like when I played with my friends or my brothers, when we'd shuffle the deck and there'd be this big clunky card in the middle, but we left it there like that was okay. And we went to the tournament and they're like, dude, you gotta take that out. Like, you can't know where your best card is. Like, you gotta like, it's a different back. Yeah, exactly.
George Kittle
Like they put in a little plastic sheet.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
And so I had like, the hard plastics. You were cheating. Yeah. So basically. And they're like, dude, like, you got to take those out. I'm like. I was like, mind blown. And then I just got murdered by this like 25 year old that I was playing against.
Kristen Houston
Oh my. No mercy.
George Kittle
I know that you. You two are super interested in us talking about Pokemon. We're gonna bring you into the Pokemon world, and me and Juice are gonna make a friendly bet. How many collectively Pokemon do you think.
Kyle Juszczyk
That they can name collectively off the top?
Kristen Houston
Don't have too much faith in me.
Claire Kittle
No.
Kyle Juszczyk
All I don't know is six.
George Kittle
You take six, I'll take the over.
Kristen Houston
Okay.
George Kittle
Together. You guys can name six Pokemon.
Kristen Houston
Together.
George Kittle
Together.
Kristen Houston
Okay. Ready?
George Kittle
Yeah. Name them.
Kristen Houston
Pikachu.
Kyle Juszczyk
One.
Kristen Houston
Bulbasaurus.
Claire Kittle
Portal.
Kristen Houston
Dragonite.
Claire Kittle
Charmander. Charizard.
Kristen Houston
We have to go more the evolutionary. The same.
Kyle Juszczyk
No, that's fair. That's fair. The evolutionary lines is where they're gonna get it gastly.
George Kittle
Why do you Remember Gastly?
Kyle Juszczyk
I don't know because I remember.
Claire Kittle
Gasore.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yes. I say this is Snorlax.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
I don't know.
Kyle Juszczyk
Who's that?
George Kittle
I don't know.
Kristen Houston
Butter Blue.
Kyle Juszczyk
Blue. No, you're halfway there.
Claire Kittle
Butter Bee. Butterfly. Butter flutter free. Butterfree.
Kristen Houston
Yeah, that makes sense.
Claire Kittle
We got all those. Who's he?
Kyle Juszczyk
The bird.
Claire Kittle
Oriole.
George Kittle
Sure. Pidgeot.
Kristen Houston
Bourbonite.
George Kittle
That was fantastic.
Kyle Juszczyk
I went pretty good.
George Kittle
We shook up how many thousand dollars.
Kyle Juszczyk
How many did we get?
George Kittle
You got like nine.
Kyle Juszczyk
You got like nine or ten.
Kristen Houston
Okay. Rock.
George Kittle
I'm stoked. That was fantastic.
Kyle Juszczyk
That was good. I'm proud of you guys.
Claire Kittle
All right.
George Kittle
And then me and Kyle are gonna pick your guys'. If you're. If you guys were a Pokemon, what Pokemon would you be? Okay, we'll go from the.
Claire Kittle
And describe it.
George Kittle
You want to do like this, like somewhere in the first three generations. I'm not very good past.
Kyle Juszczyk
Honestly, I really keep it to the first, like two generations.
George Kittle
First two gens. Fantastic. Ruby Sapphire is one of my favorite.
Kyle Juszczyk
Those are good. Yeah, they're definitely.
George Kittle
Let's see if I'm trying to think. I think Claire would be a Gengar.
Kristen Houston
Kyle, why are you laughing?
Kyle Juszczyk
Absolutely. A kangaroo.
George Kittle
Thank you.
Kristen Houston
What is it?
George Kittle
Gengar is. Well, gas.
Claire Kittle
Describe it now.
George Kittle
Gengar is a ghost Pokemon that likes to with other people.
Claire Kittle
Okay.
Kyle Juszczyk
And very bossy.
George Kittle
Very bossy. In control of everything.
Kristen Houston
Okay.
Claire Kittle
But.
George Kittle
And they can just disappear if they want to.
Kristen Houston
Okay.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. That's you. And they're honestly their boss.
George Kittle
Yeah. They're a fan.
Kyle Juszczyk
Favor in the first game.
Kristen Houston
Who's Gengar?
Claire Kittle
Pokemons.
Kristen Houston
What am I.
Kyle Juszczyk
So what would Kristen be? Kristen would be.
George Kittle
What's got a New York attitude.
Kyle Juszczyk
No.
Kristen Houston
Why is he being so mean to us?
Kyle Juszczyk
She's got. She is a dragon heir. Ooh, that sounds pretty. Dragon heirs are very elegant. Very beautiful. Slender neck.
Claire Kittle
You do have a slender neck.
George Kittle
Well, it's. Yeah, it's like a.
Kyle Juszczyk
It basically is a neck.
George Kittle
It's like a serpent, but it's like elegant.
Kristen Houston
The ballerina anime.
George Kittle
Yeah. Basically. Yes.
Claire Kittle
Cool. I'm a circular ghost and she's elegant.
George Kittle
Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
Dragonite's my favorite.
Kristen Houston
Dragonite's your favorite Pokemon? Thanks.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah.
George Kittle
Nice.
Claire Kittle
That's so nice, Kyle.
George Kittle
That's really nice. All right. So they got his Pokemon cards. We're rip them to see if they're worth any value.
Kristen Houston
Ooh. Holy OG.
Kyle Juszczyk
We're OG guys. So I like that. What if we actually get like a sick one?
George Kittle
I'm excited for this. You're good. You're on Camera.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yep.
George Kittle
We got an Atkins.
Kyle Juszczyk
Atkins. Stinks.
George Kittle
Geodude OG Og, though.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. Love Dominite. Love the fossil guys.
George Kittle
The Gambler. That's you.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yes.
George Kittle
With dice.
Kyle Juszczyk
Grimer.
George Kittle
So grimy. A shoulder. We like shoulder. Oh, we got them.
Kyle Juszczyk
All right. That's respect.
George Kittle
That could be Kristen as well.
Kristen Houston
I like that one.
Kyle Juszczyk
That one's pretty golbat.
George Kittle
Magmar.
Kyle Juszczyk
Magmar.
George Kittle
And a ghastly. Let's try this one. This is sick. I haven't opened one of these.
Claire Kittle
Look at your finger tats.
Kristen Houston
How cool.
George Kittle
Thank you.
Kristen Houston
Are we looking for a hologram?
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. The. The best cards at the back. Typically crabby.
Claire Kittle
Why would that mean you guys.
George Kittle
Got a shellder?
Kyle Juszczyk
I always kind of like shelter.
George Kittle
I know. Cliffs are sick. And Ekans. Team Rocket.
Kyle Juszczyk
Hated Ekans. We got Claire.
Emma
We got Claire.
Kyle Juszczyk
Holographic Claire.
Kristen Houston
She looks like him, too.
George Kittle
We got lobster.
Kyle Juszczyk
What are the chances?
Kristen Houston
Oh, my God.
Kyle Juszczyk
Stop.
George Kittle
Guys.
Kristen Houston
Not Claire.
Claire Kittle
I kind of like it.
Kyle Juszczyk
Read off. Read off the moves.
George Kittle
Your ability is dark. Mind you. Resist fighting types. Nice.
Kristen Houston
I feel like that's true.
George Kittle
Yes. Look how shiny.
Claire Kittle
You gotta kill him with your.
Kristen Houston
You're a lover.
George Kittle
What are the odds that I pulled a Claire?
Kristen Houston
That's amazing. Good day for you. Why didn't you say I was fine?
George Kittle
You're not that confused all the time. That's awesome.
Claire Kittle
He's a cutie. Let's talk about off season. Girl. Your brand that you launched. And it's freaking skyrocketing and is so awesome.
Kristen Houston
We launched in January, which is crazy because it wasn't that long ago, but it feels like eternity ago.
George Kittle
This January.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
So I, you know, done reworked clothes for a long time. It just kind of was like, a natural progression. I just. Claire and I love dressing up for game days. It's so much fun. And I just got, like, the itch to start making some things. And then I just got so addicted to making new stuff. It was so much fun to, like, work with my hands. And then I just felt so proud to wear it. And when somebody would ask, like, where'd you get that? I just loved being like, I made it anyway. So it was a natural progression from there. I, like, always knew there was a gap. It was a really hard industry to break into. But just getting a ton of people to wear it. Debo. Shout out to Debo. Sigo.
George Kittle
Shout out.
Kyle Juszczyk
Debo actually was the original. A lot of people don't know that.
Kristen Houston
Yeah. And he really lit the match. And it was just so fun to really, like, see the puffer acceptance. Yeah. He wore The Ross Purdy puffer vest with all the flowers on it. It was my first time getting an embroidery machine, and I went crazy on that.
Claire Kittle
It looked sick, though.
Kristen Houston
He loved it. Having so much fun embroidering things like that.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah, it was very deep.
Kristen Houston
But so from there, you know, got licensing, which was amazing, and then got a business partner, Emma Greed. Shout Out. She's literally the most amazing person in the world. She has her own podcast, too, which is incredible. I listen to it all the time.
Claire Kittle
We could also just listen to her forever.
Kristen Houston
You could just listen to her voice. Yeah, she just. It's like anything she says, it just sounds so much better than what we all do.
Claire Kittle
Yes.
Kyle Juszczyk
So poetic.
Kristen Houston
It's so poetic. And now we just. We're launching wnba, which we're so excited, and more NFL teams this year. So we're so excited because I've been, like, feeling so bad that all the other teams think that I hate them, and I don't hate them.
George Kittle
She hates all of you.
Kristen Houston
I don't hate them.
Claire Kittle
No.
Kristen Houston
So we're introducing 13 teams now that for September. I'm very tunneled on wanting to get all 32 teams. 32 teams.
Kyle Juszczyk
We're gonna get there.
Kristen Houston
32 teams.
Claire Kittle
Yes.
Kristen Houston
That is so important to me. So we will get there. Patience, patience, patience. I don't hate you guys. He loves you. It's just a lot of inventory to hold onto. Like, a lot. And we're still testing the markets of, like, where. And also, nobody wants puffer jackets in Miami, you know, so we're trying to figure it out.
Claire Kittle
You want one?
George Kittle
I would.
Kristen Houston
Okay.
Claire Kittle
Well, you're not in Miami.
George Kittle
That's true.
Kristen Houston
So, yeah, it's been such a fun story. I have to bring you to the office. We're gonna bring you.
Claire Kittle
Yes.
Kristen Houston
And it's gonna take me to work. Yes. I'm gonna take.
Kyle Juszczyk
Bring her. She's actually super excited.
Kristen Houston
She's gonna be like this. I can't wait to be like, who are you and what is your job?
George Kittle
She's very excited.
Kyle Juszczyk
What do you do here that's.
George Kittle
I'm gonna afford that. Who has been your toughest client, and why is it Claire?
Kristen Houston
The sad thing is, I really haven't made you that much stuff, and I feel like the most.
Claire Kittle
You made me a closer. Yeah.
Kristen Houston
I really need to make you more stuff. So, like, apologies, like, truly. I don't make Kyle anything either. It's like, I don't make stuff for my own.
Claire Kittle
You're busy. It's okay.
Kristen Houston
I made you a corset.
Claire Kittle
Really? Early on.
Kristen Houston
Yeah, it was sick. But we have to make you. And she was, like, the easiest client.
Claire Kittle
Ever, by the way.
Kristen Houston
Yeah, she was just very excited. Did you hear that?
George Kittle
I'm just reading the teleprompter, guys.
Kristen Houston
I haven't had a difficult client. Honestly, everyone has been so amazing to where they're like, just make whatever you want. I loved working with Glenn because he was the first person to really, like, give me creative input. And it was so fun to like, send him a ton of designs and be like, okay, I like this part. I don't like this part. And that. I, like, loved that. Because when someone just says. And this is amazing, too, but when someone just says, like, make you whatever, you're like, ah, I don't know. That can go so many directions. Like, he really gave me direction input. Yeah. So that was. That was really fun.
George Kittle
Do you have a. A favorite piece that you've created? Like, just a one of one.
Kristen Houston
You know what? I have, like, the same answer for this question, and it's, like, so cliche.
George Kittle
I have an answer for you.
Kristen Houston
Okay.
George Kittle
The Glen Powell one. You did?
Kristen Houston
Yeah. Well, actually, it looks so good.
George Kittle
It looks so good.
Kristen Houston
And that is my favorite right now because it's like the piece that I just worked on.
Kyle Juszczyk
The most recent.
Kristen Houston
Most recent is always my favorite because I put my blood, sweat, and tears into that and then to, like, finally see it on them. And it's also, like, always a crapshoot because I never get to do a fitting. And so I'm always so nervous when I see it. Yeah. Kyle is. So what happened was.
Kyle Juszczyk
And it's based off shout out. Are they bigger or smaller than you?
Claire Kittle
Yes.
Kristen Houston
So I make his shirt, right? And I look at his measurements, and I'm like, these are bigger than Kyle. Like, I feel like Glenn's jacked, but I don't know what he's like. And I felt 235 pounds. Yeah. So I put it on Kyle, and it fits him perfectly. And I'm like, I feel like we're gonna have to bring this in a little. Yeah, just a little bit. Then I started, like, looking up his height, and I was texting assistant, like, how much does Glen weigh? And so we brought it in, and.
Claire Kittle
I guess it's science.
Kristen Houston
Yeah, it is science. I did that when I made Klay Thompson's. I went to Riley's house. Yeah, your brother. Because I'm like, who's the tallest person I know? Your brother.
Kyle Juszczyk
That's actually hilarious.
Kristen Houston
So I went to Riley's house.
George Kittle
That's Amazing.
Kristen Houston
And I tried it on. When you don't do a fitting, I'm like, I have literally no idea. So when I saw it him, it fit him so perfectly. And it's just like, the best feeling.
Claire Kittle
You're like, yeah, he looks good in it.
George Kittle
Yeah. All right, we're gonna phone a friend. Kristen's Kristin's partner.
Claire Kittle
Partner and boss. And partner with a great accent. And just listen to her voice because it's so beautiful.
Kristen Houston
Let me make sure I look good for Emma. Let's go to who she really wants to. Yeah.
Claire Kittle
George.
George Kittle
I've never met her. Me.
Kristen Houston
She loves you.
Claire Kittle
Oh, connected.
Kyle Juszczyk
There she is.
Kristen Houston
George wants to meet you.
George Kittle
Hi, Emma.
Kyle Juszczyk
Hi.
George Kittle
Thanks for calling.
Kristen Houston
I said. I said. They said call Emma. I said, emma loves you, George.
Emma
I love George. George is my second favorite player of all time. Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
Who's number one, though?
Kristen Houston
That's right.
Emma
I've only got one favorite. Don't worry.
Kyle Juszczyk
Thank you.
Kristen Houston
Emma, we wanted to call you and say hi. We're on the Kiddos podcast, and we were just talking about off season and we're so.
Emma
What do you mean you're on a podcast? That's not Aspire with Emma Green.
Kyle Juszczyk
Hey.
Kristen Houston
Hey. You gotta invite me on.
Emma
I cannot tell you how many people keep stopping me. Like, oh, my God, what's Christine got coming for us? What she got coming? I'm like, just wait until you say.
Kyle Juszczyk
You would die off seasons. Fill in the gaps in the market. That's what we do.
Kristen Houston
Listen, spokesperson right here.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yes.
Kristen Houston
All right, Emma, we gotta get you to a 49ers game, so you gotta pick which one. We took her to her first one in la.
Emma
I have four children. Am I bringing all my kids? Because they're gonna kill me.
Kristen Houston
If you want, yeah, bring the crew. We load them up. We all share a suite together. So you have to come to San Jose.
George Kittle
Wait a minute.
Emma
I have planned with that. I love her.
Claire Kittle
I love you. I'm coming to the office and I.
Kristen Houston
Want you to be there.
George Kittle
Okay.
Kristen Houston
I'm bringing her to the office next week for a YouTube thing. Are you kidding me? Yeah, I forgot.
Claire Kittle
Yeah, let's hang. I'm gonna boss people around. I won't.
George Kittle
I won't.
Kristen Houston
I'll make sure you're there. I'll text you the date.
George Kittle
Respect.
Kristen Houston
Respect. Well, we love you. Thank you for watching.
George Kittle
Thanks, Emma.
Kyle Juszczyk
Hi, Emma.
Emma
Love you guys.
Kristen Houston
Bye. She's so funny.
Claire Kittle
She's the best.
George Kittle
Yes. Her voice is very.
Claire Kittle
Oh, it's so good.
Kyle Juszczyk
So entertaining.
George Kittle
It's like honey dripping.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah, just like, smooth and nice.
Kristen Houston
So you hear that, Emma? It's like honey dripping.
George Kittle
That was awesome.
Kyle Juszczyk
George and I are the Two longest tenured 49ers.
George Kittle
Year nine with the Niners.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. And I only had a couple weeks on you because I was signed in March and you were drafted in April.
George Kittle
Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
But then you closed the gap by three days because I was released. I was free agent for three days this off season. Thank God. We signed back. Thank God.
George Kittle
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
The amount of time, one of the.
Kyle Juszczyk
Hardest, worst phone calls that we ever had to make was FaceTiming you guys. Yeah, I'm gonna get choked out of that.
Kristen Houston
No, literally, I could cry.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. No, to tell you guys that we weren't on the team for a little bit, and it was really sad. It was a testament to our friendship because it definitely meant so much, like, the emotions that it brought up. Just being able to talk to you guys about that and reflect on everything that we had done. And we were really sad about what we were gonna miss out on, but thank God it worked out. And.
Kristen Houston
But I think it's a testament to, like, win or lose, you want to play with your brothers. Like, it just makes it so special.
Claire Kittle
We're so glad you guys are here, actually.
George Kittle
And then the best part was when you guys called us to tell us you were resigning. We were at a wedding.
Kristen Houston
Oh, yeah.
George Kittle
Dahlonega, Georgia.
Claire Kittle
Dahlonega, Georgia, Which I'll never forget because.
George Kittle
It'S such a great name. It was the maid of honor speech.
Kyle Juszczyk
And we literally thought about that.
George Kittle
Me and Claire got up in the middle of the maid of honor speech, and we gotta. I can't answer this.
Kyle Juszczyk
Sorry.
Kristen Houston
She's, like, screaming on the deck in.
Claire Kittle
The back, and she's giving, like, a heartfelt message.
Kristen Houston
I'm like, I don't even care.
Claire Kittle
We're not celebrating. It's been so emotional.
Kyle Juszczyk
We're back.
Kristen Houston
Let's have the best year ever. You guys put it in Super Bowl.
George Kittle
Best year at home team on three. One three.
Kristen Houston
Team one three.
George Kittle
Yeah, something like that. But, hey, thanks for tuning in for an episode of the Kiddle Things. That was George and Claire and our two great friends, Kristen and Kyle. Thank you guys for listening. We had a lot of fun. And I can't believe we actually opened up a Claire out of a Pokemon bin.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
Kristen Houston
That was so cool. Thanks, Fish. Thanks, guys.
George Kittle
We will see ya.
Kristen Houston
This is so fun.
Claire Kittle
Okay, this is our segment called Game Ball, and this is my favorite segment. We are going to grab the ball for a superlative that is relating to Georgia Rye.
Kyle Juszczyk
Who has the better handwriting, George.
Claire Kittle
I have horrible handwriting.
George Kittle
I agree. And I take notes all the time.
Claire Kittle
Horrible handwriting.
George Kittle
I'm always writing. Yeah, mine's not even that good. That's tough. My mom has the best handwriting.
Kyle Juszczyk
Who forgets to replace the toilet paper more often?
George Kittle
I mean, I replaced it this morning. You're the one that put it on the cardboard.
Kristen Houston
No, I did not.
George Kittle
Yeah, you did.
Claire Kittle
In our bathroom. Yeah, I just replaced it.
George Kittle
I did.
Claire Kittle
So you must use it, right all.
George Kittle
No, I replaced it this morning.
Claire Kittle
Just put it on yesterday. So you must have used it all and did that take the ball. You know how many other bathrooms we have in our house that I switch out the toilet paper roll in? Fair. He has two bathrooms. He goes in two. One's a Harry Potter company, one's hidden, and it's only George's for good reason.
Kyle Juszczyk
Who drinks more coffee?
Claire Kittle
Yeah, I probably.
George Kittle
I love coffee. Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee.
Claire Kittle
We both love coffee. But I only have one in the morning.
George Kittle
I have multiples throughout the day.
Claire Kittle
What's your order of choice?
George Kittle
Some type of non dairy latte. Almond milk, oat milk, a hot latte. I love hot lattes. Any time of the year, I'll have a hot latte. It could be the middle of summer, 100 degrees. I'm drinking a hot latte.
Claire Kittle
And I love an iced latte with honey and whole milk or a little bit of cream.
George Kittle
So tasty.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
Who leaves clothes all over the house?
George Kittle
This is pretty even.
Kristen Houston
You.
George Kittle
This is pretty even.
Claire Kittle
No, it's not. Who puts them away?
George Kittle
You can have it whatever you want, sweetie. Not gonna get that one.
Kyle Juszczyk
Who was more popular in college?
George Kittle
Probably you. Probably you.
Claire Kittle
We both were. We had the best friend group ever. We still have the best friend group ever. But we had so much fun in college and all of our friends, like, dated each other and are married and stuff. So it's the best.
George Kittle
Very convenient for our friend group.
Kyle Juszczyk
Yeah. Who was more popular in high school?
George Kittle
Definitely you.
Claire Kittle
Same. Because they were my friends, too, when we went to college.
George Kittle
Oh, dear.
Kristen Houston
You.
Claire Kittle
Everyone liked you. He's the same personality that he is right now.
George Kittle
I'm just nice to people.
Claire Kittle
Yeah.
Kyle Juszczyk
Who's the better dancer?
Claire Kittle
What?
George Kittle
I'm not saying that I'm a great dancer, but I dance all the time, at all times. I'm always dancing.
Kristen Houston
Yes.
Claire Kittle
He shows his personality.
George Kittle
You get me to a wedding. I'll have to.
Claire Kittle
You are who you are and it's good. Yes.
George Kittle
Invite me to a wedding. I'm a great wedding guest. Me and Trent Taylor do a great job.
Claire Kittle
Yeah, I used to actually dance, though. If we're gonna get, like, technical.
George Kittle
How long ago was that?
Claire Kittle
You dance in life?
George Kittle
I don't know, 25 years ago. Okay, 24 years ago. No, 22 years ago.
Claire Kittle
No. Like, how old were you, like, 12 years ago?
George Kittle
You were not dancing in college. Absolutely not. Except with me on the torque wall.
Claire Kittle
Oh, my God. Thanks for tuning in to another episode.
George Kittle
