B (3:17)
I'm glad to be able to do this for you. You'll have to excuse me if I sound congested and like I'm sick. I am. What a time to be sick. Um, so if I sound sniffly and a little under the weather, weather, it is because I am. I'm happy to do this for you guys. I'm not happy about the circumstances in which I have to do this or choose to do this, but I am glad to be able to serve you in this way. I think at this time when you're probably feeling vulnerable, you have questions, you feel uncertain. So I'm going to wait just one more minute before I really kick this off because I know a lot of people are joining and maybe you're getting your teams here. If you're not familiar with me, if you're not in my programs, I'm Kristen Boss. I'm a coach and trainer and speaker for the industry. I'm actually getting ready to do two large keynotes next week for a couple companies. And so it is my joy and delight and privilege to serve this industry that I believe is truly a transformational, relationship based industry. And I'm in many different types of business. And, you know, it's funny, I don't think it's ironic that in the last maybe eight months to a year, I've had a lot of people come up to me and be like, kristen, why. Why are you coaching network marketing? Can't you. Have you considered coaching a different industry? Would you coach outside of the industry? Because I. I coach other people like other businesses like I do consulting and those things. And they're like, would you ever. And I'm just like, there's a very, very special place in my heart for this industry and for how I know it changes lives and changes families. And, you know, I'm sure you've heard that, you know, network marketing is, you know, personal development with a compensation plan attached. And I truly believe that. But not only that, I believe network marketing is. It is a paid program for entrepreneurship because most people get their start in the world of online business with social Selling. I can't tell you how many circles I'm in that are filled with people that have massive companies that are doing huge and extraordinary things in the world. And when we talk about their beginnings, almost all of, I would say probably 70% of people were like, oh, yeah, I got my start in network marketing. I love network marketing. I don't know if you know that. Ed Mylett used to be in network marketing. Pete Vargas used to be in network marketing. So many people started in network marketing because I believe network marketing is the ultimate gateway to realizing your potential in life. And some people take the network marketing vehicle all the way to becoming a seven figure earner in their company. Some people take it to, you know, fund and start their next investment. Some people are like, oh, I, I, you know, got my network marketing nest egg here. And then I took that money and I invested it into some real estate. And now we have VRBOs or now we, you know, we rent out a mobile home park. It's like there's, there's so much opportunity in the network marketing business model. And, you know, while you feel shaken right now, here's a couple things I want to do in our time together is one, I'm not here to, you know, come down on things, get angry, add to the rhetoric. I think you've had enough of that and I imagine your nervous system is shot, taking in so many feelings from the collective as a whole. And to be completely honest with you, I had a call with my therapist just a couple hours ago and I just told her I was like, dang. I just feel like I'm taking on everyone's feelings right now. And, you know, we talked about that and you might feel it too. It's just like, gosh, it just feels so heavy. There's so much going on and there's a lot going on in the world. And then we've had, you know, three relatively big name companies, you know, kind of surprise and shake up the industry with some decisions that they've made. So what I want to do is I want to offer some perspective. I want to give you your belief back. I want to remind you of what is still possible while still being true. I'm not going to sit here and be like, and like, shoo away the hard parts. I think we all, I think we owe it to ourselves to say, you know what, this is hard. We all feel it. And anytime we see a company make that decision, it brings up questions for all of us, like, oh, what about? And I, and I see it like my DMs are absolutely flooded with people like, what does this mean for my company? Does this mean, what does this mean if my company goes to an affiliate, is this happening for the rest of us? And then I'm seeing a lot of rhetoric out there. Like I'm seeing people post like 3 down, 15 more to go and only a couple more standing. I'm like, I'm sorry, like what kind of insider information do you have? They don't. It's just rhetoric. So here's what I want to say. What does this mean for the industry as a whole? If you're asking that question, what it means is that the industry, I believe, is being forced to evolve and be modern and competitive and relevant with the overall influencer based economy. Now does that mean that network marketing is going away and team building is going away? I don't believe it's going away for the foreseeable future. Do I believe we might still see a few companies make a pivot? Maybe. I can't say for sure one way or the other. And I don't say that to alarm you. I'm going to speak to that so that you're not freaked out in hearing that. So I think there is a little, there's a couple things happening. One, the market, the, the industry is evolving and you know, it's becoming more competitive with how people are buying in the online space today. I also believe we're dealing with a little bit of a market correction from the hyper growth we experienced in 2020-2022. And a lot of times that there's a market correction that happens after a super inflated or rap rapid growth. So I think we're dealing with a little bit of a market correction right now. And very much so. I kind of liken it to the housing bubble burst that burst in 2008. It's just like were we making decisions when things were like flashy and fast and fun and like I've been talking about sustainability for a really long time and there is a way to show up sustainably in this business model that ensures that you are okay no matter what is happening in this industry. That's always been my heart. My heart has always been like, well, how can I equip people with tools that stay sustainable and evergreen so that when there's market volatility, which is normal in any economy, normal in any business, that the bumps are less bumpy, the ups are less scary, the lows are less or the ups are less intense, the lows are less intense. It's kind of like, if you can become somebody who, who rides out the volatility and is less shaken, you truly have a sustainable business. So it's really, I think we're figuring out and I think companies are having to figure out what is sustainable, what makes sense for our field. And you know, I'm not going to pretend to know what happened with Rodan Fields or Saint or Beauty Counter. I think there are three different things that went on with each company. I think there is probably a coincidence that it was the, that they all happened to be in beauty. But you guys, beauty and ain't going anywhere. Beauty industry, the weight loss industry. There's. There's a concept called infinite scale in the online marketing and business space. And it's pretty much spaces where there's such high demand for the thing that it's like you can just infinitely make money in that space. And it's, it's wellness, it's diet and it's beauty. Those are like two of the big ones. Now is that to say, like, if you're not in diet or like wellness and beauty, that you don't have an amazing product on your hands? No, not to say that at all. But that is to say, like, it's not going anywhere. Um, if you were asking, should I be worried about my company, I am not your CEO. I want to say, I really want to say you're fine. Nothing could possibly happen. But I am not looking at your company's profit and like P and L sheets. I'm not, I don't know what's going on. I, I'm not privy to that information. But what I can say is it is appropriate. And I know some companies have already done this where the CEOs of the company have reached out to the field and said he, hey, here's our response to what's happening. Here's how you know you're still safe. Here's our plans for the company, and here are those things. Now you could push back and be like, Kristen, like, what's to say the other companies didn't say the same thing to their field? How do we know it's not just lip service? You don't just like in the corporate world and there's always going to be risk in business. You're. You go out on your own, there's risk. You work for corporate, like corporate America, there's risk. Like, there's people can lay you off overnight, no explanations. There's risk in network marketing. So I think part of what I want you to sit and understand with Is while it sucks, is we have to understand that there's always risk with business. No matter what, no matter where we go, there's always going to be risk. So it's okay. I would say, and I was encouraging people in my programs for this, it is okay. If you have not heard from your CEO, from your company, now is the time to ask that of your corporate leadership. Because they can. Like a lot of times these corporate companies, they hire me to do, come and do a keynote speech and they're like, Kristen, you can say the things that we can't say, so can you go say those things from stage? But this is the time where it's like, hey guys, I can't say the things. You have to say the things because it's your company and your field deserves to know why they should still feel safe with you. And I think, I think companies are doing that. If your company hasn't done that, I don't think that's a reason for you to sound the alarm and freak out. It's just something for you to consider. Okay, now I also want to talk about, usually whenever this comes up, there's always going to be the people that are like, you're like, how do I respond to the haters? There's so many people haters that come on be like, see, see, see. This is why network marketing doesn't work. See, see, see. And it's like, ignore them. Those people are always going to look for reasons. And if they're especially going to sell you, like, this is why you should do this instead. Please remember that I'm saying there is risk wherever you go. And with network marketing, even with network marketing, you have something called the opportunity to really have the lifetime value per customer that you acquire. Understanding that somebody who buys a product from you month after month after month after month after month is far more valuable to you and your business and the sustainability of that business than somebody who buys from you one digital thing at a time. Like they buy it once and that's all you get from them. It's short term. Now, is it okay to diversify your income? Absolutely. I'm always going to say it's important to diversify your income. And if you want to like build your own little digital training about how to be, you know, how to self care for moms who of toddlers, go for it. That's a way to add value to your audience and monetize your earnings. Of course, like be mindful of your company agreements. But those that that to say, I just really Want you to understand, like, the lifetime value per customer. Now, some of you might be like, okay, how can I protect myself? What if this was to happen to me? How do I, like, protect my business? Protect myself? I'm gonna talk about the three assets that you can have that no company and no corporate no one can touch you. Ready? These are your most valuable assets. Your email list leads that you own. I train on email marketing to my students, and that's why I told them I was like, you guys are fine. You've learned email marketing, an email list, your personal brand. This is why I tell people, don't be known as the shampoo girl. Don't be known as the oil girl. Don't be known as the shake and supplement dude. Like, be known for how you serve and who you serve. And when you have a bulletproof personal brand, you're able to make pivots overnight because people aren't coming to you because they're like, oh, I only come to you because you sell oils or because you sell this supplement or because you sell these leggings or these books or this cookware or whatever, or these nails. Like, you guys, there's so many niches in this industry. I could be here all day. They're. They're not there. They. They buy from a person. They're more like. Consumers are far, far more personal brand attached than they ever have been. This is why influencers, influencers can sell all kinds of things. Like those girls that are, you know, slinging the Amazon affiliate links. They're selling patio furniture, they're selling cookware, they're selling home decor. It doesn't even matter. It's just like, hey, you like me? You like how I show up on the online space? Here's things I'm talking about. Your personal brand makes you bulletproof and transferable and marketable to anyone. Now, your social media could go away overnight. Like, Meta can turn that down, which is why it still goes back to your email list. And lastly, the third thing that no one can take from you, that you will always have value in, no one can take it from you, is your skills. Your skills that you have acquired in the marketplace. In network marketing, you learn selling, you learn marketing, you learn content creation, you learn customer service, you learn. You become a master. Like, you're learning all the business skills. So that. And this is why I tell people, I'm like, if network marketing was to disappear overnight, which it's not going to, and I'll explain why, I wouldn't be worried for any of you. Because you have marketable skills, you can immediately take to the online marketplace and make money. You would be fine if you know how to connect with people, talk to people, have a brand, understand how to nurture people that come to your, come to your platform and sell to them. You will never be hungry a day in your life so long as you are somebody that knows how to help people in the online space. Hear me, you will never be hungry a day in your life if you know how to help people, period. No matter what's happening in the industry, this is where notice what I'm doing is I think a lot of people are coming and be like, kristen, Kristen, tell me that I can, I can believe in the industry. Tell me I can believe in my company. Tell me I can believe in my product. Tell me. And I'm like, where's the belief in yourself and in your own skill set? Understanding that you are fine, you are resilient, and you have gone through, you have made it through every single hard season life has dealt you. This is just another hard season you're going to get through. I want to hand you your belief back to yourself because no one, not no one can take that from you. Corporate can't take it from you. No any change in your compensation plan, no one can take away your worth in the world and how you show up and help people. Do you understand? I'm trying to give you all your power back and say you are okay having belief in yourself so that no matter what happens with your company, you, on a good day, on a bad day, you go back to yourself and you're like, I actually fully believe I'm okay because I have a brand, because I have a list, and because I have the skills and I can freaking take those anywhere. I could take those anywhere. Do you want spend? So fun is. I wish, I wish I could hire everybody, but there have been people that have come to work for me because of the marketplace skills. And I'm like, you are now a valuable asset that my company sees is valuable. We will hire you because of how you've learned to work in this space. Like, there is so. There's so much for you here. So much for you. And so it's like, I think I want to bring it back to, like, trust yourself instead of like, being like, I'll only feel confident if my company tells me I can feel confident. I'll only feel confident if my upline tells me I can feel confident. I'll only feel confident if. If what's happening in the economy and the interest rates tell me. I feel confident I'm going to tell you something right now. There's a lot of talk about like the recession. People aren't buying. There is no slowdown of people in my Starbucks drive thru line spending money on an $8 latte. No one is. Guys, when I'm watching these people buying like it's nobody's business. There is still, like, my husband was, we was talking last night, he's like, oh, I was just. I'm in these, he's in these forums just to watch what people buy. It blows my mind. People are buying like crazy. Now you might be asking, okay, but they're not buying from me. I'm gonna tell you what's happening right now. People are buying things that they perceive as valuable to them. Like, this is Val. It's not about luxury or essential. It's about how does this make me feel about myself? Do I value this? And so, and I think they want a good experience. So I think the bar in like the quality and the standard of what they purchase has raised. They're still willing to friends, they're still willing to buy. However, their expectations behind the purchase, they're like, no, you have to tell me why this is good quality. Why? It's why it's worth my investment. And if you can, you, if you could sell me on the value that's not on the price. Because we think that's what everybody's caught up on. Like, oh, it's the price. No, no, it's their perception of value. Because if that was the case, everybody would be riding over an $8 iced latte. Like, I could look at that and be like, the price is ridiculous. But the value to me of driving through in my car and seeing my barista and them making my drink that I could probably make at home with my own fancy, expensive espresso machine. There's something about the ice clinking where I'm getting all my dopamine and I'm like, this is $8 of dopamine, right? It's like, you guys, you just have to figure out how can I make my product? Like, how can I speak about this in a way that their perception of value of the thing gives them what they want. Does it make them feel better? Does it, it, does it increase their enjoyment of life? Does it? You guys, people are making stress purchases right now. You know why people are buying $8 lattes? Because they're depressed. What they're reading, watching on the news. Do you know why people are buying books Left and right is because they're like, I don't, I don't want to deal with my reality. So I'm going to buy a 30 no level. It's like, trust me, people are reaching into their wallet. But you have got to stop believing. Everybody's hurting right now. And buying into. I'm going to call it the Chicken Little. The Chicken Little messaging we see everywhere. The sky is falling, the economy is dying. Nobody has belief anymore. And all of these things. And I'm like, great, if you believe that, that's what you're going to create. All right, so while I'm on that note, that wasn't even in my notes. But that's also why I want to tell you, if you're like, where's network marketing going? Absolutely nowhere. In the sense of like, it's team. There's going to be the team building component I believe is going to stay for the foreseeable future. Why? Because teams always move larger volumes of product than an individual ever can. There's far more. While it's a higher expense item for a company, there's still far more incentive and advantage to have teams moving volume. Teams will always outperform volume. Okay, now do I think there's going to be companies that like the ones that go pure affiliate. I'm just like, good luck. I mean, like, what you're doing is like you're cutting out so much of the initiative for why the team should, should move volume. It's like, well, now, now you flatlined my earning potential and now. So it's like right now you still have the leading edge. You still are compared to our Amazon friends out there who are making 1 to 5% commissions like pennies on the dollar. Like, you guys are able to do 30% commissions on the dollar. Even. So all that to say it's like not going anywhere because team building still will always move more volume than individuals do. I think that the industry is probably going to find ways to really incentivize the affiliate part or the customer building. Like, hey, there's two ways to make money in this industry. You can do it by building teams or you can do it by a large customer base. And that's the affiliate leg. Great, fine. I will say this. I do think it's important to do an inventory with your company to be like, hey, does our company encourage acquiring customers or is it always recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit, recruit. If that's the case and there's an imbalance of customers to distributors, that, that to me Raises. That raises questions. Okay. I'm just going to say that because then there's an imbalance of a pool of customers. And then if we have far more majority of Ambassad, there's an imbalance, and then it does become too expensive for the company to pay out all these people. So I, again, I don't have the numbers. I don't have the spreadsheets. I'm not going to pretend to have insider information, but I can tell you that I sit on calls with these corporate teams now. I have not. I did not get on calls with Saint or with Rodan Fields. I got on a call with Beauty Counter. And there was anyways, all that to say when I meet with these corporate companies who ask me to speak, they care deeply about the field, they care deeply about their teams, and they care deeply about the legacy of their companies. And so I think the majority, we're not going to see much change. Now, if you're like, all right, Kristen, but what if, like, if there's still that part of your brain that's like, what if. Or maybe you've just lost trust? Like, I want to hold space for you. If you're like, but, Kristen, how do I trust again? How do I do this again? And I could say, you don't have to if you don't want to. If your trust is broken, okay, but then I'll ask what's. What's plan B for you and what other options are. Like, where is a place that will have zero risk for you, zero chance of failure, zero chance of it falling apart? There is no such place. And I understand, Like, I think it's. I think it's fair to hold the hold space for people that feel like. I feel like the rug was pulled out from under me and I don't quite know how to move forward. And I think the best thing you can do for yourself is holding space for yourself. But I think what you also get to know is for those of you that are rebuilding and are moving, like, thinking about, where am I going next or am I going to rebuild? You're not starting over. You are building it with more wisdom, more experience, more knowledge, with a lot, with a lot more skill sets, you're building it better. And you are not the same person who's going to build the next thing. You're going to be the wiser, more talented, more resilient, more gritty version of you. And the business that that person births is, I think, going to be a better business. And I think that person is going to understand. All right, so my next venture, I'm building an email list right away. I'm ensuring. I'm building my personal brand that is important. And I'm making sure that I, you know, my spouse and I were going to talk about how we diversify our income streams, or I'm not going to let my spouse, like. Or my spouse and I were just going to decide that he's not going to retire and we're going to keep those diverse incomes, like, those two income streams. And when I'm out earning my husband, like, we take one of our streams of income and we put it into investments instead of, like, maximizing our lifestyle. So all of this to say is, like, I want you to know you're okay. You're okay. I know there's a lot of maybe fear, talk and hype out there, but I. I am truly not worried about you. So long as you choose to continue to be somebody who offers value to people that's real. That's guys, that's business. That's just not network marketing. I have this thing. I'm getting emotional. I have this thing. There are always going to be really tough seasons where you're like, why do I do what I do? Why am I still here? And you need to touch back to it. Because when you. Because right now, if you're like, I don't have any belief in this business, what's the first thing that's going to stall out is your ability to bring people into your business, period. Because you're like, what? I can't. Because you can't sell something you don't believe in. So the first. Your first work is I want you to rebuild your belief based on everything I'm telling you. Like, no matter what I'm learning, I'm getting. It's a paid internship. I'm getting paid better than I would over there to market and sell a product, to figure out my personal brand, to learn how to market myself, to become a valuable person in the marketplace, to grow an email list. Most people, like, they spend thousands of dollars to build an email list, and they're not even paid to do it. But you're paid to do it by selling a product. How amazing is that? Like, why not. Why not get paid to learn? Why not get paid to figure things out? And then, hey, you might find home in network marketing, and it might take you a while to find home, but you can. But here's the thing. There's going to be a hard season. And I had my. I had my company do this recently because there are times where all you see is everything that's going wrong instead of what's going right instead of what's good, instead of why we stay. And what I had my team do was I had my team, I had my team print out stories from people I've served over the years and the impact we make. And it's just, just this little printed book. And I just, sometimes when belief is low, I just sit here and I read about like, wait, hold on. Heather needed this and Kathy needed this and Lauren needed this and, oh, wait, Amy needed this and Kim needed this and like, I can go through here and go back to like, but this is why. And this is why it's worth it. And this is why we keep showing up, because has nothing to do with how much money's coming into our bank account. It comes, it's like the voices of people that are impacted by you showing up and being like, this is who it is. And like, you guys, the network marketing industry, like, it is a, it's life changing. And I, I know that sounds maybe like hypey and, you know, trite and whatever, but I've seen too, I've seen too many lives changed to believe differently in the community aspect of this and, and how amazing it is to serve people through this business model. So my challenge to you is keep talking. And I would say right now, be the person that talks about where we're going and don't give a lot of attention to the negative in what's happening. And like, and be like, hey, here's why I'm so excited. Here's where I'm going. Here's why it's worth partnering with me. Tasteful, tasteful friends we have, we truly have people. I cannot imagine the grief, the shock, the betrayal and those things they feel we have to give them a human moment. Okay, so with how we post and how we show up in the online space with compassion, with tenderness, with understanding that there are people that are hurting. And I will tell you, the big, the big earners in the company, they're already doing their homework. They know where they're, they know where they're. They're already like eyeing where they're going to go next. They're already those things. And I'm also going to say this too. I think this is really important. Do not begrudge the actions of people who are most afraid. I have had to do this where I'm like, you know what? When we are scared, when we are anxious, when we are Worried. We do stupid stuff and we're seeing some stupid stuff. But I think our. If we try on our humanity and we try on our compassion, we can say, man, they must be feeling a lot of fear. They must be feeling a lot of uncertainty. I can feel for that person, and I do. I feel for those people, even the ones doing things where I'm like, what are you doing? What are you doing? But I can be like, all right, that's their part of their brain trying to ensure their own security and their own safety in the world. And so really, we're all stumbling in the dark trying to figure it out. And so we can look. We guys, we can even look at the people. Here's what I'm going to ask of you, because this. This whole us versus them, and maybe I can take responsibility for how. Maybe how I called that out in my stories, and maybe it wasn't compassionate enough. There is no us versus them. It's us all trying to figure it out. And some of us are really hurting and there. And we're all handling our pain differently. You know, it's like some. Some dogs, when they're hurt, they cower in the corner. They don't want anybody to touch them. Some dogs, they bite, they snap, they. They get. They get violent. And it's like, oh, but it's not. It's not the dog. The dog. The dog is feeling kicked. The dog is feeling threatened. So it's like, all right, how can I practice a lot of compassion for people who are doing less than savory things? And I'm going to understand that maybe. Maybe they're scared, too. Maybe they're feeling like how I feel, and they're just acting out in a different way than I would. But that's okay. Here's how I'm going to show up in this space, right? And so I truly believe this is a real opportunity for us all to collectively come together in a way where it's like, hey, I'm for you. I'm for us. We're all still in it, and we're moving forward and we're still excited, and here's where we're going. I do think. I do think there is still a massive growth opportunity ahead. I believe this with my whole heart. I still think we have to ride the shakeout. Things are shaking out. I believe the cream is rising to the top. I believe that this is the season of scattering the seeds and watering the hell out of them. I believe this is the season of service and love and kindness and Respect and seasons. And that's always a season, by the way. Love and kindness and respect and treating people with dignity. But the harvest. The harvest will come to those who are patient, to those who can wait out the hard seasons, to those who don't abandon ship the moment the seas get a little rough. The ones who are like, okay, we're going. I'm gonna. I'm gonna stay the course and I'm gonna keep going. So that is my. That is my, you know, my hoorah. Feels like a wrong. The wrong thing to say, but essentially just trying to bring you back to center to calm yourself, because I'm sure there's just a lot of emotional intake. You've had a lot of chatter, a lot of those things, and I. I think it's okay. And it's totally appropriate if you need to take a time out to protect what your intake is right now. It's like, wow, I. I can't be in those chats. I can't be on that team page right now because all it's doing is rattling my nervous system and invoking a lot of fear. And when we have a rattled nervous system, we don't make the best choices. And then we shut down, and then we have analysis paralysis. And I, I, I. What I'm concerned about is that I. What I don't want to see is the field as a whole going into a freeze state where everyone just freezes and waits. Wait. Waits for the storm to pass. Waits for it all to get better. You cannot afford to wait. People that wait are people that miss opportunities. People that take action are the people that are like, all right, you guys, I talked about this in my keynote, if you don't know this about bison versus cows. So cows, when they see a storm, they all just huddle together and they're, like, waiting for the storm to pass. They're like, just wait. Just wait. Just wait. Just wait. And they're just wait. Frozen bison. Freaking bison. They see the storm and they're like, all right, the fastest way to get on the other side is to go through it. So they actually charge the storm. They turn towards the storm. And actually, it's kind of funny. Cows don't just stand still. They actually run away from it. So eventually, like, the storm catches up with them, and then they're just. The storm. They're under the storm a lot longer. But a bison sees the storm, and you guys, you've seen the storm. Where? There. Here it is. Here's the storm. So I'm asking you, are you all willing to put your head down and face the storm, charge through it, and we're going to get to the other side. I promise you we will. But this is a gritty, resilient season. This is. This is when I believe the real leaders are going to rise. And both at the corporate level, at the field level, in the coaching space, like how you see other people leading you. So it's. I'm inviting you to charge with me, to be a Bison, and we're going to charge through this storm. We're going to get there together. My phone is going crazy or my Apple watch is going crazy right now. So if you're in this with me, I'm delighted. I thank you for giving me your time. I hope this has served you. I hope it's calmed that part of you that feels scared and anxious and those things. I. I would just ask you to exercise your discernment. If it doesn't feel right, trust that. If it feels like someone's promising, promising you something that's too good to be true and your fear brain is responding instead of your rational frontal lobe that makes logical decisions. Take a pause, take a breath and ask yourself, wait, hold on, hold on. Do I. Is this right for me? Maybe. I don't know. But here's what I do know. Here's what I have. Absolute certainty. You're going to be fine. You are learning invaluable markets, place skills. No matter what is happening with this industry, we are adapting. We're changing with the times. I think. I really believe that we're only going to be making this business model more lucrative, more advantageous, and more appealing to the generation behind us. Who is Gen Z? That guys, they were born with a phone in their hand. They love sharing stuff, but they're watching us. I'm getting texts from people that aren't in this industry, and they're like, dude, what's going on? I'm like, listen, we're happy. We're having a moment here. We're having a. Can you look the other way while we all come. We're going to sort ourselves out. But, like, can you not look at us in our. In this time right now? But people are watching. So how you talk about others, how you talk about the industry, how you talk about other companies, I would say don't even talk about the people who aren't doing it well, ignore them. Don't give them attention. Just be like, here's who we are, here's where we're going. If you want to do it with me. Let's go. And I'm going to teach you these invaluable marketplace skills so that no matter what happens in this business, no matter what happens with this company, you've been paid to learn marketplace skills. No other place do you get paid to become more valuable in the online space while you're learning, period. Boom. End of story. All right, so if you're all ready. I need a glass of wine. Cool. I'm just trying to see if there's any other questions I wanted to answer. I haven't really looked at the webinar chat, but you guys are all just really wonderful. Good. Tell me how you're feeling now. Sure, Vicki, you can go ahead and ask the question. Good. Validated. Better. Hashtag, be the Bison. Let's go. Uplifted and calm nervous system. Good. That's what I wanted. I wanted you. I wanted you all to feel grounded. Okay? Grounded. Mostly grounded with yourself, where you're not outsourcing your sense of stability to things outside of you that you cannot control because you can't control your company, you can't control the economy, you can't control compensation plan. But everything that is in your control is right here. Okay, should I be in more than one company now? No. You can. You can do things that, like, you can be with your company and maybe do Amazon affiliates or whatever else, but I wouldn't do multiple companies. That just creates confusion to your market. Relieved. I'm so glad. Good. Yes. You are powerful. Good. Comforting. Wonderful. Okay. How can we best love and support those? Experience this? That's a really great question. Be an ear. Be an ear. If only if you know them. Like, for example, one of my really good friends is like the tippy top earner of Rodan Fields. And I know she probably doesn't even have capacity to reach out, and I just sent her a voice note. I said, I'm here. I love you. Let me know how I can support you. And sometimes that's all we need to say. It's like I'm here. I can't imagine what you're going through, but I'm here if you need me. Let me know if I can send you a nice coffee on me. With people you already have relationships with, if you're just reaching out to a random person, to them, it's like, it. It. It's not a. It doesn't feel safe. Like you can give kind words. Don't offer the business. They don't. They will. I promise you. They will ask you. Or you could talk in Your stories about your business to people who are already following you. Fine. Okay. Hashtag be the bison shirts. I love it. All right, cool. Yep. Do I. Do I have an email marketing program? Yes. I teach it inside the social selling academy. Do you think this is a good question? Do you think posting about these companies closing and offering sympathy is spammy? Hard to say. I'd be like, why. Why are you making a post to your whole audience that, like, especially if you're not with a company, why bring your audience's attention to that? Why? I just. I'm like. I'm just like, why does it serve? Probably not. All right, cool. I don't wanna. I don't wanna get too. Too deep in the weeds here with trying to judge other people's motives and intentions, because that's not what I. What I want to do. And, you know, I'm sorry if it looked like I was doing that in my stories. I have really just been sitting a lot with, like, just us as people. Everybody's trying to figure it out. Some people are doing it from a very fearful, scarce place. And when we're fearful and we're afraid, sometimes we do dumb things. Does that mean we're less worthy, Less human? Less worthy of love and dignity and respect? No. Is it. Are people throwing punches out there? Yeah. And I'm like, kicks. Dogs bite. People that are hurt. Hurt. Okay, so let me see if there. Let me see if there's any. I see a few more questions and then I'll. I'm gonna wrap it up. What do you. What are your thoughts on sharing with our audience where a company is? Incredible. Why it's a thriving space in the network marketing industry? Yeah. Go for it. It's your audience. Yep. All right, my friends, thank you for letting me serve you. And I know times are tough, but you guys be the bison. Charge through the storm. The harvest is coming. We'll see you next time. This is the beginning.
