Welcome back to this cool Bible study. My favorite time with you is with the Bible study because it's evergreen. No matter what happens in the world, the eternal word of God is speaking. Lord, open our eyes to see great and wonderful things out of thy law. If you've missed the last two lessons, we are in the book of Esther. I suggest you get a Bible just like I got right here. And get yourself a pen. I like those little bicycles, multicolor pens. You know why? I do prophecy in green and devotion in blue and warfare Holy Ghost ones in red. And by the time I get, it's like a little rainbow of Revelation. I go over this over the years. I got some tabs stuck in here. But the word of God, you mark a trail is what I like to do. So when I go back in, I see the layering of the Holy Spirit over time. So what we've seen so far is I was actually going to call this series, which is the Esther series. You can get it@lancewellnut.com Esther along with the prophetic study guide, which is the explanation of Billy Graham, by the way, was buried on the feast of Purim. And I talk about what that prophetically means. I give you Kim Clement's words on that. Go 800-910-6349. Get both of them. And guess what? Your gift of any amount. How's that for a deal, Lucille? Just you can get it all. So. So if you love what you're hearing Today, call that 800-910-6349 number or go online and get it. I was originally going to call this the scepter and the signet ring because the two symbols that are used in the Book of Esther over and over again that have rich meanings symbolically in the Bible is the signet ring, which is the authority given to a delegated representative of a ruler to use their name to make things happen. It's a type that is fulfilled in you being authorized in the name of Jesus to pray and decree certain things. And they have to happen in the spirit realm. The name of Jesus will cause spirits to back up if it's operating by the anointing of God in your prayer realm. When you start to pray and decree a thing and it shall be established, because the signet ring was the emblem of the royal house and it goes into the soft wax of a person's heart or a circumstance in time. And when you pull back from that, you've left the divine impression, that is the permanent fixed impression of God on the situation. It's a powerful metaphor, powerful imagery. And the signet ring was given to Joseph, and the signet ring was given to Zerubbabel in the Bible, prophetically, in the end times, an end time company who helped rebuild the house of God in the last days, restoring the ecclesia in the earth. But we also see this scepter of Esther, see on the COVID here of the magazine. Oh, back here you can see it. There's the scepter. So I got the scepter. I was going to call it the scepter insignia, vestant. And it has to do with throne room access. The scepter has to do with the extended favor of God. You'll see. The scepter has to do with favor. Whenever Queen Esther wanted to go into the presence of the king, she just couldn't go barging in and say, hey, I want to talk to you Today. The rule in the Persian court was the king would summon you. The king has the power of initiative. In his kingdom, you do not initiate. He initiates. Even on our life, you pray. But you'll find that the prayers that have signet ring power are the desire of God in you. God gives you the desires of your heart. And the real meaning of that is he plants in you the desire to will and to do his good pleasure. Then you bring it up to him and he says, yes, let's do it. So Esther couldn't just go in, but the king would extend the scepter when he saw her. And the word associated with the scepter is the favor or the favor of divine access, the access to the throne room. And there are times when God is extending the scepter to you that you need to take advantage of to go in a time of need to let your petition be known. The scepter is the symbol of divine favor and access to the throne room. The signet ring is the authorization that comes once you've left the throne room with a divine commissioning. The scepter gives you access. The signet ring seals what you acquired when God invited you into his presence to make your needs known. Powerful combination here, very practically working up, because Haman is a type of antichrist, a type of the end time antichrist. It comes about in nowhere. It certainly has massive, hostile, unresolved daddy issues with Jews for some reason. And you're seeing the emerging of anti Semitism all over the place right now with all kinds of chat threads that I'm involved with, with people that are, they hate Israel, what's Israel, and they think they're so enlightened. And by the way, they're all tongue talking Christians. And that tells me the spirit of antisemitism is already, that spirit is at work in the church. So it's that spirit of the Antichrist is already worming its way in to cause a division from Jesus over the issue of hating the Jew. It's going to be. It's an interesting, interesting thought. If you've got questions about that, go to freedomancewallnut.com and I'll explain to you what's going on right now. Anyway, so Haman says, I'm going to pay you to exterminate those Jews and solve your problem. Now, how much was that? 345 metric tons of silver, according to my little booklet I'm giving you in exchange for the King's approval. He knew he could extract a substantial amount from the plundered wealth and property of the Jews. He figured he'd at least get 345 metric tons worth of gold and silver out of the Jewish people. The figure was two thirds of the annual budget. I was wrong. Last week I said 30%. It's 2/3 of the annual budget of the Persian Empire. 75%. He was willing to just say, hey, you got an annual budget, I'll take care of it myself. That's how he was going to pay it, out of the plunder. And the King said, hey, keep the money, do with what you want. Whoa. He didn't even have to pay him. He could make that 345 metric tons of silver and put it in his own pocket. Man, Haman was feeling good. He could hire some good killers. He could hire an army to go wipe out those Jews. Which is exactly what he did. And the king then gives him his signet ring and says, you know what? I trust you so much, go ahead, just use my credit card for whatever you need. So now he's got a legally binding commitment from the throne, plus he's got the funds to do it. And then he consults occultic astrologists so that he could dial in on the Prince of Persia and get the principality to give him success, like the Antichrist, working with spiritual forces. All right, so let's talk about that Prince of Persia. Let's talk about the Prince of Persia. If you go to Daniel chapter 10, it'll explain the divine delays, because Daniel sometimes had these delays. For instance, I'll start right there in Daniel chapter. Now, Daniel dealt with the Prince of Persia himself, the same occult spirit principality ruling over Xerxes. And now Has Haman promoted to the point where he will want to kill the Jews the way that demon wants them done, that principality wants to wipe down, gives him the date for their annihilation based on occult prognostication aligned with the prince's power over that region. And Daniel says, for instance, he's praying. He's praying, and for 21 days he's not getting anywhere. But he keeps on confessing and praying. And suddenly an angel breaks through and says to him in verse 12, do not fear Daniel. For from the very first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I've come because of your words. There's a word of faith message. Is anybody that's kind of forgotten their faith message? The words spoken during the delay were what enabled the angel to battle all the way to manifestation. He said to me, do not fear Daniel, from the first day that you started to pray, I was sent. But the prince of the kingdom of persia withstood me 21 days. I'm a pretty good angel. I'm a strong one. I'm Gabriel. But I'll tell you what I was. For three weeks, I was battling, battling, pushing, pushing, pushing and pushed back. And behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me. For I was left alone there with the kings of Persia. And now I've come to make known unto you what is going to happen to your people in the latter days, in the end times. I'm going to give you end time revelation, not even for your day, but for the days we're living in right now. My point is this. The prince of Persia resisted Daniel for 21 days. But the words of Daniel and his prayers and his disposition, which was humbly repenting, opened up the way. I want you to go to chapter nine real quick. This is all related to Esther. Esther and Daniel and Zechariah and Haggai and Nehemiah and Ezra are the books that unlock the code of what's going on right now. This has been repeated several times. They're end time books. Why? Because they all talk about the period of Israel coming back in 1948, and the sequence of what happens when Israel goes back to the land. And it's written when they first came back with Cyrus and then with Zerubbabel, restoring the temple and restoring the gates and the walls and then rebuilding the city during a tribulation time, and then the Messiah coming and coming back to Jerusalem. It's all the same sequence for the Messiah to come back to the people that rejected him, when they say, blessed is he who comes. So here In Daniel, chapter 10, chapter 9, you see, while I was speaking and praying verse 20 and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God, for the holy mountain of my God. Yeah. While I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in a vision at the very beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, he reached me about that time of the evening offering. Watch this. And he informed me and talked with me, and he said, o Daniel, I've now come forth to give you skill and understanding. At the very beginning of your supplication, the command went out, and I've come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved. Therefore consider the matter and understand the vision. In other words, there was a delay, warfare delay. But for the first day that you prayed, you got the amen from heaven. It's just the manifestation took a while. May that settle on all of us. We don't understand what's holding things up, but we can understand that it's not God. So anyway, we come back to this book of Esther, which is where we are, and I'm doing this teaching from lancewellnow.com Esther, get your booklet here, 800-910-6349. It's free for your gift of any amount. How's that? All right. So now we have this moment here where Haman has sat down to drink. In chapter three, verse 15, the couriers go out with a decree. And In Esther, chapter three, verse 15, the decree goes out. Shushan, the citadel is official. So the king and Haman sat down to drink and to party in the city of Shushan. But the city was perplexed because they just read their death sentence all over the empire. We're all going to get. All our property is going to get taken. Now, why is this happening? I want to show you something, which I mentioned it a moment ago, but I hope you can see this. There's a divine sequence that happens in their day. Cyrus, the king is prayed in by Daniel, prophesied in by Isaiah by name. Jeremiah says, After 70 years, you're going to return. Cyrus became the one who did that. That's why I'm so jazzed about Trump being Donald Trump. President Trump constantly goes into Israel, the big Cyrus banner. Cyrus. Cyrus. Cyrus. Because not since Cyrus has there been a gentile ruler who has been for the people of Israel the way that he has. And so after him came Darius. Then there came some. Then There came some challenges, and then there comes Xerxes or Asuerus. Assuerus in history is also called Xerxes for various historical, literary reasons. But it's the same guy. Now, what did Cyrus tell them to do? They were sent back after 70 years to go rebuild God's house. The temple is what God was after. And so the signet ring was given to Zerubbabel and Joshua and to remove the rubble and deal with all the enemies that were around the temple project. And there were many because people were squatters. They had been there for 70 years. Shoo, shoo, shoo. The Jews, though, they kind of got discouraged with all the resistance. And God had to send prophets to kick them in the butt and say, you better get on with God's building project. He's been very gracious. Took them 17 years to just get the foundation laid and put a building up. It wasn't even a big building anyway. That was phase one. I want you to see what the sequence is, because this is the sequence for our day. What is God doing? He's giving us political rulers who are behind God's people. And what are we doing with God's house? My last chapter in this little booklet here is the Stolen Reformation. We're not much different than our forefathers, sorry to say. Christians are pretty much doing the same thing as the Jews in the Old Covenant. What are we doing? We're not focusing on giving Jesus the church. You know, the overcoming, the overcoming church that is going to go up against the gates of hell. These gates are still there at the top of those mountains, and the church is over here. Kind of like praying for a revival and an awakening and enjoying the peace we've got right now. But we aren't going up against those strongholds. Strongholds are getting more aggressive all the time. Well, the prophets came and kicked them into gear. They gave God the temple. And then the next step was Nehemiah and Ezra came along and restored and occupied those gates. They went to work on building something so that the territory that God gave to his people could be inhabited by God's people. And the devil didn't control Jerusalem. Well, after that was done, the prophet Daniel had prophesied that when the walls are built in a troubled time, the gates are restored, then Jesus will enter the city. And indeed he did in the year 32 AD and exactly in the month of April, which corresponds precisely to the dates that Daniel himself had written in terms of the time when the Messiah would come. Jesus enters. They did not receive their Messiah. And so 2000 years of history and what happens? The Jews are regathered into their land again in 1948 and they start the cycle all over again. Which is why I'm telling you we're in the cycle. And when Jesus comes, he's coming back. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. To where? The Mount of Olives, Jerusalem. This time they will receive him. But we're right now at the place where we're rebuilding the house of God. God's heart is to see his church rise up in greater strength, power and unity. Do we have unity? No. And what's the result of that? Our lack of unity is costing us the United States of America. We're not actually moving with the. With the aggressive zeal and urgency of a people who are facing down Haman and maybe persecution, maybe with the killing of Charlie Kirk, maybe with the left breaking into churches and interrupting service. Maybe it takes that level of aha to awaken the church. Because that's the chapter the Jews are in right here. What do we do when Haman comes against them for the first time? They get into a level of unity. Fasting, prayer, commitment, seeking God. And God moves on their behalf through the Esthers that he has tucked away in government in different places who have been up until now getting away with being believers, but. But not having to lay it on the line. And they step forward in their faith and they fight for their brethren. Could be an interesting period of time coming up. Let me look at this in terms of this chart here. We'll use some red that it starts with Cyrus, but notice the period 538 B.C. i want you to see how the reason why I have this as a stair step like that is look at the period of time Cyrus comes along. 5:38 B.C. zerubbabel starts off with 50,000 Jews out of the million or so that are in Babylon and in Persia. 50,000 answer the call to go back, rebuild your temple. 50,000 go. Haggai starts to prophesy in 520 B.C. well, what happened here? They were from 5:20 to 5:36. There's a 17 year delay. They just got distracted and started building their own ministries, their own churches, their own 401ks or, you know, their retirement accounts. Literally the Jews started, but they got distracted and there was so much opposition, they went to work on building their businesses. And the prophet came along and said, God will start to deal with your business if you don't take care of his house. 17 years you've been waiting so now they go. Now they get the second temple built in 516 B.C. so they got 516. They were given permission in 538. They finally got it done in five. Don't tell me. God is impatient. They get it done and then Xerxes comes along here. And this is what's happening in the story of Esther. Esther is this chapter. Ezra comes along and there's another wave of Jews that return. Then Nehemiah comes along in 445 B.C. and. And there's another wave of return. Ezra brings about a spiritual reform. Nehemiah says, let's get those gates and walls built. I mean, nobody's living in Jerusalem. They're scared. They go to the temple on a certain day and then they take off for the hills of their houses. So this is the sequence. What I want you to catch is this. Esther and. And the Jews persecution happens 538 down to 465. That period. To that period. The Jews that didn't go back to the land are now in danger of being exterminated. So what you could say is the Jews are in two different place. They're either in Jerusalem or they're in Persia. God opened the door to go back to Jerusalem back here, 5:38. But down here, they're still in the land of Persia. So God's going to shake them up. I heard Derek Prince say something interesting recently. He said that the Jewish people are only supposed to be back in the homeland, meaning they're supposed to be back in Israel. And if this is him, I don't want to get hate mail. But in every country where the Jewish people settle, the Jewish people are supposed to be in their homeland. And so persecution rises up in such a way that it compels them to not get comfortable. And so, just like with Xerxes, the persecution rises up to remind them, this isn't your home, your home is Israel. Because the Bible says God will gather all of his people back to their land. I don't feel that compelled because I'm only 20% Jewish. 80% of me. Can I guess, I guess 20% of my time I could be in Israel. But that's an interesting thought. Persecution comes to get the people of God back to where they're supposed to be, because the Lord is returning to Israel and the Jewish people are the ones who welcome him. So when Mordecai learned all that had happened, he tore his clothes and he put on the sackcloth and ashes. He went as far as the front of the king's Gate. Now he's back at the King's gate. Remember, all the time Mordecai goes back to the King's gate. And for no one might enter the King's gate clothed with sackcloth so he couldn't go through. And in every province where the king's command and decree arrived, there was a great mourning among the Jews, with fasting and weeping and wailing, and many in sackcloth and ashes. Let me ask you something. Where do you see the urgency in the church to stand in the gap and weep between the porch and the altar and plead with Almighty God not to take his hand of visitation and grace and Great Awakening off America? We keep talking about a Great Awakening. I'm looking for it. Where is the Great Awakening? I got news for you. I look at the political barometer to see which way those winds are blowing. And right now the enemy is consolidating his Haman's recapturing of all the mountains and the removal of Cyrus from office. They're after taking this country back. I know a lot of you say, well, that's not going to happen, only if 36% of us change our behavior. Where did I get that number from? 36% of Christians do not engage in electoral decision making. They don't use their authority, their agency, their signet power to even cast a vote over a third don't participate. And in the next election, come November, if 36%, as is customary, sit it out and just get distracted doing other stuff, Haman's spirit is going to begin to come back into power and ink will be pretty for Christians. Probably not going to be good for Jewish people either. So I want you to see, this is the cycle of the word of God. And you're now one of God's chosen seed of Abraham. So know your story. So he went right there. He's mourning and fasting and weeping. And Esther's maids and units came and told her. And the queen was very distressed. This is her uncle, man. He's making a public display at the King's gate. Like, you know, this is is going to get back to sheep. What's she going to do? She sent garments to clothe him. Put some clothes on and take away your sackcloth. But he rejected. He said, I know, I know how to dress myself. I am in deep repentance because until God reverses this verdict, we're all going to die. I might as well make my position unmasked before God right now. Esther called Hat Toch, one of the king's eunuchs whom he had appointed to attend to her, and she gave him a command concerning Mordecai. Go talk to him, Learn what's going on and why is this happening? So Hatchah went to Mordecai in the city square that was in front of the king's gate, and Mordecai told him all that had happened to him and the sum of money that Haman had promised to pay under the king's treasuries to destroy the Jews. He also gave him a copy of the written decree for their destruction, which was given at Shushan, that he might show it to Esther and explain to her that he might command her to go into the king and make supplication to him and plead for his people. Whoa. So Hatcha hot. His name is pronounced Hatchech, returned and told Esther the words of Mordecai. Then Esther spoke to Hatach and gave him a command from Mordecai. All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know, uncle, that any man or woman who goes into the inner court before the king, who hasn't been summoned by the king, there is only one law with these people. You die, you're put to death. If you go intrude into the court without a welcome, without an invitation, they execute you. The only one who can do it is the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter that he may live. I myself haven't been called to go in in over a month. In 30 days. I'm not on his mind. He's not calling me in that scepter boom of access. If he doesn't come on in, honey, I'm dead. How's that for your husband, huh, ladies? Think you got it tough. So they told Mordecai Esther's words, and Mordecai told them to answer her. Go back and tell her this, honey, don't think for a moment in your heart that you're going to escape because you're in the king's palace any more than any of the other Jews. Then he prophesies a word that only a prophetic uncle can give. If you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance is going to arise for the Jews from some other place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows? Who knows whether you've been brought to the kingdom for such a time as this? Everybody loves that verse. Who knows if you've been brought to the kingdom for such a time as this? Nobody quotes the context. Who knows if, when you risk your life to do what God calls you to do and expose your faith, maybe they won't kill you, maybe you'll get away with it. Who knows? But if you were brought to the kingdom to risk your life, at this moment, it's a life risk, word, promise, not a, oh, you know, you were put in the company so you could be the new president, so you and your father's house will perish. He's basically saying, and here's an interesting thought. Think about it. Think about it. Just think about it. If God gives you favor, position, blessing, resource, and he does it because at a certain point, he needs you to obey him to do something with it. If you choose not to obey, who's to say the devil doesn't have access to the favor, the position, the material and the resources, because now they're in his domain, in the domain of the disobedient. See, as long as you're in the blessing of God, obedient, then the blessing remains. But if you go into sin, the enemy has access to all that God blessed you with, and now you've got trouble coming from. I never had that problem before. Well, maybe it's because God gave it to you and you're not obeying him with your stewardship. So anyway, she says, oh, my gosh. All right, go gather the Jews who are at President Shushan and fast for them. She's a beautiful girl. She's going to say, all right, I'll risk my life. I want three days of prayer and fasting. Three days, Uncle. Oh, the Jews pray and fast for me, and if I die, I die. Okay, at least I'm going to go in there with a good effort. What a powerful story this is. Episode: The Time is Near for the AntiChrist - 9 Shocking Clues Hidden in Esther
Host: Dr. Lance Wallnau
Date: March 29, 2026
In this episode, Dr. Lance Wallnau explores the prophetic and political parallels within the biblical Book of Esther, arguing that its patterns provide “nine shocking clues” about the spirit of the Antichrist and our contemporary moment. Drawing on Esther, Daniel, and other post-exilic books, Wallnau discusses spiritual authority, the rising spirit of antisemitism, and the church’s current lack of unity and urgency. He employs his signature blend of scriptural interpretation, current events, and exhortation, urging listeners to recognize cycles repeating in history, discern spiritual warfare, and embrace their God-given authority as modern-day Esthers and Mordecais.

Dr. Lance Wallnau’s episode weaves biblical history and end-time prophecy with contemporary spiritual and political realities. By unpacking Esther as a prophetic matrix for our times, he calls his listeners to spiritual discernment, bold obedience, and active engagement—warning that complacency has real consequences but that courage, unity, and prayer can shift history’s course.
