It's time to talk about HIV prevention. Talk to a health care provider and visit care for the culture.com to learn more. I'm the home girl that knows a little bit of everything. All the conversations that shake the room, baby. I guess we could check in behind the scenes of the grind first. I was going to not really check in today. See, that's my problem, y'. All. Whenever it's like a super active, like, work day, a lot going on, I am not ever stopping and taking the time to check in on myself ever. Because it's just so much going on all the time. And we have news breaking with Rihanna, you know, by the few hours at this point point. But I want to talk about something. A new revelation in the case. The woman, the suspect. We now have more details about her. The suspect who shot at Rihanna's home. But let's have a quick conversation about behind the scenes of the grind. Back on the ground. So checking in behind the scenes of the grind. You guys know that we lost an hour on our time. And this morning when I woke up, I felt regular. I actually felt rested. Even though I felt like a lot of people were like, everybody was preparing for it to be like such a drag getting up and going into work this morning or like starting our days this morning. I was watching people on my timeline yesterday talk about, like, you know, 30 somethings. Y' all better go to bed at a couple hours early because y' all know we gotta catch up with ourselves. I felt just as tired as I always do them 4 3am mornings after being up all night trying to figure out what the heck we gonna talk about. Ain't no joke, but I was feeling like it wasn't unease. It was just like a. I don't know. I just need. I remember this morning, I was thinking, I'm like, God, I need to hear from you this morning. I don't know what this feeling, it was like an uncertainty feeling. I was like, I don't know what this feeling is, but I'm not starting my day like this. I am not letting the day own me like this. And this thought on my mind of any uncertainty and I don't even know what I was uncertain about. Maybe it was a more of an anticipation, like an antsy thing than uncertainty. I would say that, like I was just like so antsy and I didn't know what for or what abouts. Like I was waiting for something to come or arrive and didn't even order anything. That was the feeling, but got through that. And I was having a conversation yesterday morning just about Mercury Retrograde. And I don't know how much I believe that anymore, y', all, because I feel like every time something happens in the world or something new or something changes, Black people always blame Mercury retrograde. And at this point I'm starting to feel like Mercury retrograde is just God waking up on the wrong side of the bed and being cranky. So all of our days are off and like our feeling of the day is off. Like I'm not really buying too much into that. But today was, you know, the first day where we lost that hour. And it is still super warm outside here in New York and I don't know what's happening. Cuz we were just snowed in like four days ago and now it's like 75 degrees. I was anxious as heck this morning, but I'm leaning in. I don't even care what's happening. I'm here, I've showed up. I've showed up like I'm leaning in. It, whatever it is, is whatever it's going to be. And that's maybe that's Mercury retrograde. Because normal me would be like, oh my God, I feel so antsy and anxious and what is going on? Not doing that whatsoever. So I've had to gather myself this morning. And I tell myself every morning when I do feel this way, when I feel like the day is getting ahead of me even before it starts, I just remind myself I'm going to own the day. I'm not going to let the day own me. And that has been my mantra today. So boom, let's get into the conversation.
Dr. Jay Barnett
What's up, everyone? My name is Dr. Jay Barnett and I am the host of just heal with Dr. J podcast. Listen. One thing that I remember about my childhood is being able to remember my phone number. Because it was like the thing at that time. You got to remember your phone number in case you get somewhere and you can't get in touch with anybody. You need to be able to remember your phone number. Did you know? 2026 will mark the 150th anniversary of the first ever phone call. It took place March 10, 1876. And from the call that sparked it all to the first long distance phone lines, the first line across America, the first line across the Atlantic, the first round the world call, the first commercial cell service, the first 911 system. AT&T has been connecting people for 150 years in so many different ways. So when I think about att and their 150 years, I think about the lives that have. I think about the joy that has been shared. Because nothing says connection like AT&T.

so there's been all this news this week because On Sunday afternoon Rihanna's home was shot at at least 10 times by a random woman in her 30s that police you know are not still not releasing any motive for. But they're saying that you know, this woman shot at Rihanna's home with an assault rifle. Rihanna was in the home. We don't know who was in there with her, but she is okay and now we know who this lady is. And baby When I tell you the. The Internet is destroying my sister. The Internet is destroying her. People are pissed off. I mean, why Rihanna don't bother nobody. And so let me tell you guys. So when police first sent out the release to the media that it reached out, right? So we received the email, it said at least 10 shots. So that means they could only find evidence of 10 shots. But I've been seeing reports and reporters from neighbors talk about shots that hit their home, ricochet their home. So I don't know if they know for sure how many shots has been. And they also found seven shell casings in this woman's car. They arrested her some, you know, minutes away from Rihanna's home. And we now know in new news that this woman's name is Ivana LTTE Bertiz. She is 35 years old. They list her date of birth as June 2, 1990. She was booked for attempted murder. And her bell is set at $10 million. Over $10 million. $10 million. She ain't never coming home. It is no way anybody can. Like, who just has $10 million. Even if you did a percentage of that, who has that just laying around, right? But looking at this, because another interesting thing in the release that they sent out to media, so they talk about, you know, the. The time that they got the call, the response to where they responded to, you know, do all the information. But one of the things that I think that they say is interesting is that this is an active LAPD Robbery Homicide division investigation. So when I saw robbery homicide and then I saw the be. She's booked for attempted murder. Now, mind you guys, there's a D A office. The Los Angeles District Attorney's office still has to okay these charges. This is just what police are booking her on, right? So when this happens, a D A has a conversation. They look at the evidence, they look at the motive, they talk to police, all they. They consider all of the things, and then they move forward with an actual charge. But when I saw all of this, mind you, we don't know motive. And I've been asking, do you guys have motive yet? Do you have any other information they won't tell us. In my mind, I'm like, and this is before the Internet that went and found this girl. I'm like, this person had to have said something to police that made them believe that this was planned, that there was intention, that this is not something that just, like, randomly happened, that Rihanna was literally actually targeted. Like, all of these things all had to go together. And now there are these. And again, I can't confirm. I can confirm her identity as far as her name and her birth date, but there is no mugshot released by police. And there are some old mug shots, alleged old mug shots circulating of this woman. I did reach out to police to try and say, hey, I know that you guys haven't dropped a new mug shot. Here are the old ones. Is this old girl? And they won't confirm it. They literally wrote back to me. I was like, are you guys able to confirm these past mug shots are your current suspect? And I listed her name, and literally all they said was, no, with a period. No period. So they're not. They're not even getting into that right now, but the Internet is doing what the Internet does, and they're finding things that if that woman that they found on Facebook and all these other places is this Ivana Lisette Ortiz woman who is the arrested suspect in this shooting, she's definitely a crazed fan who's just like, on one. And, yeah, she didn't get. Oh, God.
AT&T Advertiser
Yeah.
Angela Yee
You talk about intent and malice and intention. Fans are digging up old videos and, you know, posts on Facebook, you know, different disparaging things toward Rihanna and Cardi B. And, you know, Kim Kardashian and others, please. Are going to make an example out of this woman. I, I $10 million if this is. They're going to definitely make an example out of her because of high. Of how high profile this is. So, I mean, rightfully So. I mean, 10, at least 10 shots, anybody could have been killed. Which is also really scary, too, because it, if this woman is a person, and it seems like from these, these social media posts I'm telling you guys about, if this woman is a person that is dealing with, you know, a mental health crisis of some sort of. Or just not being all the way there. It's just so sad because someone could have died all because of something that is not even real in this person's head. Because these Facebook posts and all these things, if those posts, you know, if this page and everything that they're connecting really does belong to this Ivana Lisette Ortiz woman. And the only reason I'm even mentioning it, even though I haven't confirmed it with police myself, are because of the way that police are investigating this or is because of the way the police is. They're investigating this with that Robbery Homicide Division. And because of what she was booked under, being booked for attempted murder, LAPD Robbery Homicide Division being the people that are investigating you. They had to have found something that places a very clear intention to harm Rihanna in a very specific way. So I'll be back, guys. I mean, you know, I'm following this. I'm getting on their nerves, I'm getting on everybody else's nerves trying to answer some questions and and whatever I get. You guys will be the first to know the story is developing. We will discuss this more on any other platform where you can catch me it's another episode of the latest AT Lana Rosa. I tell you guys, every single episode. Y' all could be anywhere with anybody talking about all of these things. But y' all choose to be right here with me, my low riders. I appreciate y' all and I will see you in my next episode.
