Lauren LaRosa
Hey y', all, what's up. It's Lauren LaRosa. And this is the latest with Lauren LaRosa. This is your daily dig on all things pop culture, entertainment news, and all of the conversations that shake the room, baby. All right, y', all, so let's check in. Behind the scenes of the grind. Let's get it started. Let's get it going. So behind the scenes of the grind, today I am feeling powerful. I am feeling like a woman who is powerful, who is just in alignment. I know today is. I mean, March 1st kicked off Women's History Month, but I know on March 3rd, people talk about and they commemorate the National Women's Suffrage Parade, which is where 5,000 suffragists, women who were fighting against certain things, marched in Washington, D.C. this was, like, such a big deal because this was the day or this march, this date, those women coming together was all about women's voting rights and, you know, women just feeling like we should be able to make decisions and have a voice. It was organized by Alice Paul and the National American Women's Sufferers Association. And this march took place on the day before the Woodrow Wilson. On the day before Woodrow Wilson was inaugurated to force the issue of an amendment to the Constitution for women to be able to vote, for us to be able to have a say. So,
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
yeah, I just.
Lauren LaRosa
I don't know. And I don't know if that's why, because I woke up this morning. I mean, I look forward to March typically because, like, content wise, I know I love sharing things about women and conversations about women. And I feel like March is when people pay attention to them, especially black women. I love our things. But today I woke up and I woke up late and rushing to work. But even in doing that, as I was listening to the show on my way in, I was, like, flustered, and I was like. Cause, you know, like, when you're late to something or you start your day late, and I'm typically fashionably late. Like, that is my M.O. typically. But I've been trying to do such a better job of just planning and preparing and showing up on time because I feel like everything goes, like, so much smoother after that, right? So today I'm running late, and I text our executive producer at the Breakfast Club and the producer I work with on my segment who I normally meet with in the morning before I go on air. And I'm like, hey, guys, I'm running late. And I was rushing so much, I didn't even. I forgot to text Envy and Jess and Charlamagne to let them know that I wasn't going to be there to tease my segment. And the tease is basically where you give a little something something to let them know with the people, to let the people know what you're going to be talking about and finally get in here. And I'm good. And you know, I wasn't, I was late, but it wasn't that bad. And I literally said to myself, I'm going to reclaim my day. I am not going to let this day run and walk all over me because I woke up late and I was in a rush and I don't want things to feel like they're in shambles and I don't want this day to go like that because this is another day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in him. Okay, the, the grandma, the black auntie started coming out of me. I don't know what it was, but I was just talking myself through that and I, I've had to learn how to do that because that I, I didn't know until getting here at the Breakfast Club where being able to show up fully personality wise mattered. I didn't realize how much the chaos that I'm used to dealing with just in general because of the type of work that I, I'm in really just impacts everything and everything you touch and how you do things and how you speak to people and, and, and in being here at the Breakfast Club and just being able to be a person in the, I don't know, I've just been able to think about other people a lot more, but also just think about myself. So that was a good moment for me this morning and it worked. Even though I feel like I'm fighting the cold. I was 20 minutes late. The day was a great one and it is going to continue to be. We are about to head on over to an event that I heart is doing for Women's Month. So there'll be a conversation happening with our program director, Thea Mitchum and Jess, Hilarious, that I'm about to head up to. So, yeah, we're here. We're powerful, baby. We can vote. We got. Listen, we got to say. So don't play with us. All right, now let's get on into the latest. Now speaking of things politics and political, Epstein files. There's one we haven't talked about much here on the podcast, but the Epstein files. There has been such a conversation about the releasing of files and lack thereof and the people that were involved and, you know, the things that have been Released it being a distraction by the Trump administration and, you know, everything that he's accused of doing when it comes to underage girls and just his affiliation with Epstein in these files and us really wanting to know because he, there's been a lot of accusations out there, but we don't know. We don't know because we haven't seen the files. Everything that we've been seeing doesn't give us real answers to anything. And not even just Trump, but like, you know, other celebrities and politicians and people of certain stature, wealth wise, that visited Epstein Island. So there's been that whole conversation, but Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton were ordered to do a deposition which took place on February 26 and February 27. Now there has been some video that has been released from the deposition. This video footage which was released on Monday of this week by the House Oversight Committee, shows hours and hours of testimony that was given both by Bill Clinton and by Hillary Clinton, his wife. Now, Bill Clinton, I was going to say, for those of you who don't know, but it's nowhere in heck you don't know who Bill Clinton is. But Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, they sat in separate depositions so you won't hear them in the same audio because their depositions were separate. But it was around the same time last week. I know one was on the 26th and then one was on the 27th. And both Bill and Hillary Clinton have denied having any prior knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein's sexual related crimes. And I want to note that Bill Clinton nor Hillary Clinton have been accused of any wrongdoing to the Epstein victims. But Bill Clinton is just included in the investigative files related to Epstein and the photos and in so many different things, so much like, so much so that they had to come in and do these depositions. Now, since it was announced that they wanted or they were going to have to do these depositions, the Clintons asked for everything to be made public. They wanted the deposition to be made public. And a lot of that is because again, the conversation around the Epstein files has been that people feel like there's so much being covered up and narrative, it's being controlled. And I think, you know, and Bill and Hillary Clinton asking for this to be public, their whole thing is, is put it out there to the public. That's all like we have nothing to hide. Put it out there to the public. But also that that's a way for them to control their narrative. So that didn't happen. It was not made public, but this video was released. So there are a few moments that are starting to trend across news from these depositions. So first thing, let's get to. Because Hillary Clinton, baby, she's not the one nor the two, when you ain't gonna play with her. She stormed out of the deposition. But I want to talk about Bill Clinton first. So various things that they're asked about, because again, this is hours and hours of deposition. One of the things that I thought was just. It was so corny of Bill Clinton. And I've always thought that Bill Clinton, you know, like, I've never had, like, too much of a harsh opinion of him. You know, when Bill Clinton was in office, I was very young. So a lot of the things and the opinions and the stories that I hear of him are always, like, passed down or recycled in the news or on, you know, in the media, but just from family and, like, what they remember being done or lack thereof while he was in office. And of course, Monica Lewinsky and him getting some brain in Oval Office, right? But this, I'm like, man, this is not a way to go out. Like, not that anything is happening to Bill Clinton, you know, God forbid. But think about what I just said to you guys. Like, I am 34 years old and there is such an. I mean, and younger than me, there is a new wave and a new generation of political pundits and people with opinions and voices. And honestly, I feel like even in 2026, I feel like you don't even have to be any of that. You don't got to be a scholar, political pundit or nothing. Human beings that are consumers of and. And not even consumers of, but also that deal with consequences from these politicians in their actions. User are using our platforms. They're on x, they're on TikTok, they're on Instagram, they're on Facebook, they're on Reddit, they're on Stack. And they're having conversations about things because they're fed up and they're tired of being, you know, affected by things across the board, whether they agree or disagree with the Democrat or Republican. So it's not about that. It's not about Democrat or Republican. When I'm about to have this conversation about Bill Clinton, it's about, like, what is your why? Like, what is the purpose? Because Bill Clinton sat in this deposition and when afforded the opportunity to hold Donald Trump accountable, he didn't. Let's take a listen.
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
I hate this, but. Because I don't believe I should inject anything, but I do not want to leave the impression since There was no follow up question. He never, the president never, this is 20 something years ago, never said anything to me to make me think he was involved in anything improper with regard to Epstein either. He, he just didn't. That's the truth. You know, as I said earlier, the only conversation I had with President Trump about this was in the early 2000s. And I have no information that he did anything wrong. I just want it all out there. I want everybody to get it all out there and let everybody see where we are.
Lauren LaRosa
I don't understand. Like, I. Oh, my God. I used to think that getting into politics was like the way to, like, help people and to really save people and to really make things better for people like, you know, politicians, attorneys. Like, I had career aspirations at one point. It was very short lived about, you know, getting into that field of things because I was just so hopeful that, like, you know, these are the people that are really standing on what they believe and speaking out and making these, like, doing all these things right. And then as I get older, I'm starting to see these moments and it's especially on the Democratic side where it's like people just won't talk straight to what's happening. They won't just like, say what needs to be said. Why would Bill Clinton just not say yes? Like we. I mean, Bill Clinton, you're sitting down for a deposition. They done took hours and hours out of you and your wife's time. And not only did they take hours and hours, they playing with y'. All. They treating your wife any old type of way, doing things that they're not even supposed to be doing legally. Taking photos. Like what? Like what is happening here? Hey, y', all, what's up? It's Lauren LaRosa. And you know I give you your daily dig on all things pop culture, entertainment news, and all of the conversations that shake the room. Baby, for me to give you all the factual content when I get into the details, I gotta make some phone calls. I'm calling lawyers, attorneys, managers, publicists. Shoot, I'll even call your mama if she's the person that's gonna give me the exclusive I need. But did you know that 2026 will mark the 150th anniversary of the first ever phone call. It took place on March 10, 1876. And from the call that sparked it all to the first long distance phone lines, the first line across America, the first line across the Atlantic, the first round the world call, the first commercial cell Service, the first 911 system at&T has been connecting people for 150 years in so many different ways. I'm just happy that somebody's going to answer the phone because how else would I bring y' all the news all up in the people business, but they answer. Thank you. AT&T. Connecting changes everything. AT&T.

I don't understand it. And then he goes into. He recounted a conversation with Trump from around 2002 or 2003 about Epstein. And he says that Trump never said anything to make Clinton feel like he was involved in anything improper. He just said we were friends and then we had a falling out over a land deal. That's all. First of all, who Bill Clinton, who are you to decide that? This is an investigation. You need to let the investigation do what it needs to do because they're doing it to you. If you don't do politics, it's going to do you. That is a saying that I've been hearing so much and I feel like if you don't do stand on business, it will be done to you. Because they are standing on business behind the embarrassment of Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. There's no reason for them to be in a deposition. They ain't been accused of nothing. Thing, not a thing. The only reason why they're in this deposition, honestly, is because of who they are. Like in, in, you know, like what this looks like. So I don't get it. And for those, that new generation of like media and speaking heads and talking heads, who again, you will, we will be learning about, well, not even we, but I mean, yes, I guess my generation too, and younger who are learning about Bill Clinton and being reminded of Bill Clinton not because you were old enough to really feel the effects of his term as the president, but just through history, through documentaries, through books, through, you know, everything on the Internet. And now this is one of the things that we will remember in real time because we were here for it. I will always remember watching a deposition about the Epstein files where people are accused of doing such heinous things to underage women. And our president, who has been super viral for being in photos and more things with this Epstein man has to come to this deposit or our former president, excuse me, Bill Clinton, our former president has to come and sit down and he can't even say it with his chest that Trump should also be investigated. Like, what is the fear here? I don't understand. I do not understand. Now, Bill Clinton also had to explain. Well, no, before we get to Bill Clinton explaining that, that infamous hot tub photo where he's in the tub and there's all these random women swimming around him. Lord have mercy. Bill Clinton got his vices, don't he, y'?
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
All?
Lauren LaRosa
Let's take a listen to Hillary Clinton. Because on the other side, Hillary Clinton's deposition went the complete opposite. Before we get to when she was asked about Trump and should he be investigated or should he have to come in for more information? Let's a listen to. Well, no, let's take a listen to her on Trump first. Because after that she, you know, she gets to the point where she turns out. Let's take a listen.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
Trump should be deposed by this committee. Absolutely. You know, I was a lawyer, and as a lawyer, you would look for pattern and practice if you were deposing a witness in a case that you were trying, if you were in court, court, what did you know about this person? What you knew could influence how you question that person, how you tried the case. Donald Trump has been held civilly liable for sexual assault by a jury of his peers. Nine members of a jury found him liable in the sexual assault of E. Jean Carroll. That is behavior that fits a pattern, if one were looking for a pattern. He has also been convicted on 34 felony counts for attempting to hide his relationship with a escort and then to commit business fraud to prevent it from becoming public in the 2016 campaign, which was ultimately election interference. So if I were running the committee or I were involved in this investigation, I would be looking for people who maybe had some prior conduct that might be relevant to either money or crimes. And yes, I think that it would be in keeping with the scope of the investigation of this committee to set up a deposition with President Trump. I know he's been deposed many, many, many times. He's taken the Fifth Amendment many, many hundreds of times. So I'm not saying you're going to get a lot of information, but given what's in the files and given past and prior conduct, he would be on my witness list.
Lauren LaRosa
Okay, y' all see the difference there? And here's my thing. I feel like when I read Kamala Harris book 107 days, what I heard, because first, I mean, yes, Kamala Harris is a black woman, Hillary Clinton is a white woman. Very obvious. That was no surprise. Everyone knows that, right? But if we remove the fact that Kamala Harris is a black woman, which I don't like to say because it's, like, impossible to. Right. But if we really look at just women in politics and how they are treated and how they are positioned and how their resumes are disregarded and their voices are disregarded and, you know, like, that whole thing. Hillary Clinton has always been disliked. I mean, there's several different reasons, but one of them is because of things like this. She don't let nobody play with her at all. People have always talked about how, like, just likability has not ever really been there for her. And I think, you know, she's had to become hard a bit because of stuff like this. Y' all are sitting in this woman's place, playing with her, asking her questions. Yes. Bill Clinton said that's for y' all to decide. He should have said. Now, you know the answer to that. Hell, yeah. That's basically in legalese. That's basically what Hillary Clinton said. Now let's take a listen to a moment that also has picked up from this deposition. Because in the beginning of this, I told you that Hillary and Bill Clinton had asked for this deposition to be public. That was not. That didn't happen. So that means, like, photos and things like that should not have been released from inside the room unless officially. Officially done, like this video. But that is not what happened. Let's take a listen.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
I have photos that are being released of the secretary as she is testifying from inside this room. Can you please advise me as to whether or not that's permissible and consistent with the rules, particularly given that we have asked for a public hearing? If there are photos that are being released of the secretary, she is testifying. Can you please explain how that. I'm done with this. If you guys are doing that, I am done. You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home. This is just typical behavior. We will go off the record. 1. Oh, for heaven. I like to understand how that's permissible before the hearing was. It doesn't matter. We all are abiding by the same rules. I. I will take that down. Yeah. I would like to take a break at this moment. I'd like to have. For now. Go off the record. Go off the record.
Lauren LaRosa
So in that moment, what you guys hear is you hear a. A Republican Congresswoman, Lauren Boebert, who had to admit to sharing the photo because there was a Republican influencer who had posted the photo on social media. And someone from Hillary Clinton's legal team saw it and was like, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold on. Because we were down for all of that but not in and as you want to. We wanted it to be fair. We wanted it to be open. We are no y' all heard. We are playing by the same rules.

mad at the way Hillary Clinton went about this deposition at all. But I hope that car ride back home where her husband was very long and full of a lot of conversation about what how he think he did. And then when she see these videos, I hope she make your own plate. I don't know if white women do that to say, you know, I like because you know, in a black household, you know grandma and mom tell you baby, that man should not ever make a plate for himself. I don't know white women do the same thing. Now y' all and any of my, my white low riders out there, white women, y' all let me know like it, you know, do you make you making your man play? Is he allowed to make his own plate or no? But I, I hope Hillary Clinton makes Bill Clinton make his own plate for the next month. You don't play with us. Then they got Bill Clinton in here trying to recall some of these moments and he starts talking about that viral hot tub photo and he sounds, you know how if y' all ever been dating somebody or if you're married or whatever, you know how you are questioning your spouse about something that they wasn't supposed to do or something they might have been supposed to do and they ain't dead and they know. They know. It's like when you ask the question, you already know the answer to it and now they start to fumbling with the words and giving you information you don't even care. Like you didn't even need all the information. That is exactly how Bill Clinton answered the question about why he was in the hot tub with them random white ladies. Let's take a listen.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
What we're trying to get at is some context for the public on whether you remember this photo and any detail you may be able to provide us about it. So do you recall the details of this photo? Recall the photo being taken?
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
No, I don't think I ever knew the photo was taken. Okay.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
And for those who can't see it, it's a photo of you in a hot tub. There's a person next to you here. Do you remember where it was taken? Is it. Where was it taken?
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
I'm almost sure that this taken. I think there's an adjacent photograph which you probably have that if people saw it, they would feel that someone was trying to con them show them this picture. But anyway, this picture was taken in Brunei and we flew one night. On a trip to Asia. The last very long leg.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
He said we. Who is that including.

Thank you.
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
On the AIDS issue. And Mr. Epstein was there and Ms. Maxwell. But anyway, we got to the end of the. The end of the flight was Brunei. It's a tiny place, but a very wealthy one. And the Sultan of Brunei was a man that I had gotten to know well in my eight years as president. And he. His first involvement with international matters was basically to join the Asian Pacific Economic Leaders Conference, which I started and which he attended. And so. And then he was very proud of that and he hosted his time came to host it. You know, you do these things in a rotation. And it came at either. At the very end of my term or maybe the next year. Anyway, he wanted. When he knew I was coming and he said he wanted to help me with my AIDS initiative. And he said. Invited me to stay there. And he said, I want you to stay at this hotel and I hope you will use the pool. So I did and then I got out and went to bed exhausted.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
Just for the record, there's another picture that also shows this as part of the larger pool area. Do you all have that so that he can refresh his recollection with respect to that.
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
We said have it. It's. It's quite enlightening if you watch this.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
Yes, it's noted.
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
Give you a different feel. Thank you. Okay.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
We do have. We don't have it with us right now. Okay, thanks. I just wanted to make sure he knew that. So I just. Were there other people in that pool or hot tub with you as well?
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
I don't think there's anybody in the hot tub. I don't even. I didn't forgotten that there was anybody in the hot tub, but it was big, but it was so bad.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
Well, there's asking in the pool. It appears there's a. There's a girl over here, or there's someone.
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
Yeah, I don't know who that is.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
But he's also asking in the pool area whether other individuals.
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
I don't know who that is.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
Okay, so you don't know?
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
No. And then. Then there were other people in the pool.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
Okay, so do you remember who were they under 18?
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
No.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
Were they part of your traveling party? He's asking.
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
Yes, they were. I think. I think everybody there was part of our party. It was late at night. And I also believe that there was a secret service agent there at the other end of the pool.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
And was this in public?
Bill Clinton (deposition audio)
No, it was a hotel room. And the sultan wanted us to stay there. And the whole. The water, this big pool was on the same floor, that there were several suites and that. So we went out. I swam around. I sat in the hot tub for five minutes, I. Or whatever it was, and I got up and went to bed.
Podcast Announcer/Host or Guest (various ads and segments, including Sarah Spain, Malcolm Gladwell, Chelsea Handler, Danielle Robe)
And then AB Asked us, did you engage any sexual activities with this person? Thank you. And that ends this round, and we can go off the record.
Lauren LaRosa
I don't know. Bill Clinton is crazy. He is. That is one thing I'll say. That meant he. He'll give you some content and he'll give you some stories to talk about for years, and that is exactly what this will be. Another. This. This. Right. This is. Whether we want to admit it or not, because of how twisted a lot of our current history in the making has become because of social media and because how crazy our administration is. This is Chelsea Handler from Dear Chelsea, after the Big Game like most people, I kept thinking about the commercials, and there was one that stayed with me. It was from the BL Square Alliance Against Hate, and it wasn't loud or flashy. It showed a Jewish kid being targeted at school and another student who chose not to ignore it. As someone who was Jewish, that moment felt very real to me. Not dramatic, just familiar. And what struck me was how clearly it showed that hate doesn't always announce itself, but the impact is still huge. If you saw the blue square spot during the Big Game, it's worth thinking about. And if you want to show support, sharing the blue square is one small way to do that. There's a lot of noise in the business world today. Episode Title: Take The Stand (Clintons Depositions)
Release Date: March 3, 2026
Host: Lauren LaRosa
Podcast Network: The Black Effect Podcast Network & iHeartPodcasts
This episode centers on the recently released video footage of Bill and Hillary Clinton’s depositions regarding the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, featuring Lauren LaRosa’s lively commentary, critical analysis, and honest reactions. Loren dives into the significance of the moment—especially as it falls during Women’s History Month—unpacking the political, social, and cultural impact of the Clintons’ testimonies, the scrutiny surrounding powerful figures, and the stark generational differences in political accountability.
"We’re here. We’re powerful, baby. We can vote. We got... Listen, we got a say. So don't play with us." — Lauren LaRosa (03:50)
"[Bill Clinton] sat in this deposition and when afforded the opportunity to hold Donald Trump accountable, he didn’t. Let’s take a listen." — Lauren LaRosa (12:09)
Bill Clinton quote:
"I have no information that he [Trump] did anything wrong. I just want it all out there." (12:17)
"You did nothing. You progressed nothing. You stood for nothing." (35:22)
Hillary Clinton quote:
"If I were running the committee...I would be looking for people who maybe had some prior conduct that might be relevant to either money or crimes. And yes, I think that it would be in keeping with the scope of the investigation to set up a deposition with President Trump." (22:34)
Hillary Clinton (paraphrased):
"I am done with this. If you guys are doing that, I am done. You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home." (25:05)
Bill Clinton quote:
"I don't think I ever knew the photo was taken...this picture was taken in Brunei... Mr. Epstein was there and Ms. Maxwell..." (31:22–32:15)
When pressed about the age and identities of those present:
"I don't know who that is...I think everybody there was part of our party...I also believe that there was a Secret Service agent there..." (34:14–34:48)
Lauren’s take:
"He'll give you some content and he'll give you some stories to talk about for years, and that is exactly what this will be." (35:22)
Lauren’s take on generational political change:
"You don't even have to be any of that—you don't got to be a scholar, political pundit or nothing. Human beings that are consumers of, and deal with consequences from, these politicians and their actions... are on TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, having conversations because they're fed up and tired." (08:33)
Comparison between Clintons:
"Yes. Bill Clinton said that's for y'all to decide. He should have said. Now, you know the answer to that. Hell, yeah. That's basically in legalese what Hillary Clinton said." (23:11)
On the spectacle of it all:
"We are literally living through history in the making. And this is not a moment I would have wanted...on my mantle if I were Bill Clinton." (35:22)
Lauren combines a matter-of-fact, “homegirl” energy with sharp, culturally tuned insights. She doesn’t hold back her disappointment in political evasiveness, while also celebrating candidness and fortitude—especially among women. Throughout, Lauren’s delivery is relatable, often humorous, and always candid, making complex political news conversational and personal for her audience.
This episode of "The Latest with Loren LaRosa" goes beyond just reporting; it offers incisive commentary on how power, politics, and gender collide in the public arena. Through Lauren's lens, listeners witness the stark contrast between Bill and Hillary Clinton’s approaches to high-stakes scrutiny and are reminded how much contemporary discourse is shaped not only by what is said—but by how it’s said, who says it, and who listens.
