Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we are talking about a critical maintenance task for your mental health auditing your inner circle. Because, let's be real. If the people closest to you are constantly draining your energy with complaints and pessimism, they are quietly stealing your wealth. And if you let them stay, you are choosing comfort over growth. Let's break down how to protect your peace without apologizing. First, realize that negative people are an active liability to your business. Too many people think they can just ignore a pessimistic friend and keep working. You cannot. If you are sharing your massive goals with someone who immediately points out all the ways you could fail, they are planting seeds of doubt in your mind. Whether it is family, old friends or peers, proximity only works if it elevates you. If they pull you down, you kill your ambition. Second, you have to actively prune the dead branches. People do not build unshakable confidence by surrounding themselves with victims. They build it by standing next to other warriors. So instead of feeling guilty for cutting off access to a toxic person rejecting, realize you are protecting your future. Make your energy an exclusive resource that people have to earn. Lastly, fill the empty seats with giants. When you remove a complainer and replace them with someone who holds you accountable, your entire trajectory changes. High standards, brutal honesty and shared vision create an unstoppable network. When you upgrade the circle, you upgrade the life. Bottom line, you cannot soar with eagles if you are constantly negotiating with turkeys. Audit your room, protect your mindset and surround yourself with winners. Because when you do, you will fly higher than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex reminding you your energy is your most valuable asset. Protect the circle. Guard the gates. And as always, keep leveling up. Thanks for listening up to the Level podcast.
