That's why you rack welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we are talking about a massive psychological hurdle that holds new business owners back. Breaking the employee mold. Because let's be real, if you start your own company but you are still waiting around for someone to tell you what to do, your business is going to starve. Let's break down how to stop taking orders and start giving them. First, understand that nobody is coming to right your daily schedule anymore. In my previous career in law enforcement, my entire day was completely structured by dispatch and a chain of command. When you step into entrepreneurship, that structure vanishes instantly. If you sit at your desk waiting for motivation to strike or for the phone to ring, you are operating like an employee. Whether you are generating leads or building infrastructure, the action has to originate entirely from you. If you wait for permission, you kill your progress. Second, you have to become the architect of your own urgency. People do not transition successfully by taking it easy just because they are their own boss. They transition by creating artificial deadlines that carry massive consequences. So instead of just hoping to launch a product by the end of the month, publicly announce the date and pre sell it, make your environment force you to execute. Lastly, the founder mindset embraces the absolute unknown. When you finally accept that you have to build the bridge while you are walking on it, the anxiety turns into pure power. Relentless initiative, aggressive problem solving and total self reliance. Create an unstoppable CEO. When you stop acting like a worker, you start building an empire. Bottom line, you fired your old boss. So do not let your new boss be lazy. Write the mission, execute the daily task and take command. Because when you do, you will direct your future better than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex Reminding you initiative is the currency of founders.
