Welcome to the Level up podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. Day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we're diving into a mental requirement for scaling any high level operation. Building emotional calluses. Because let's be real, if a single refund request or a nasty comment ruins your entire weekend, you. You are too fragile for this game. And if you let the market dictate your mood, you will eventually quit. Let's break down how to thicken your skin without losing your empathy. First, understand that friction is baked into the math. Too many people think a chargeback or an angry client means they are a terrible entrepreneur. It doesn't. If you are processing thousands of transactions and dealing with massive volume, a certain percentage of things will simply go wrong. Whether it's a shipping error, a misunderstanding, or just a bad apple, problems only hurt you if you take them personally. If you internalize the math, you kill your piece. Second, stop seeking validation from your customers. People don't maintain their sanity by trying to make every single person happy. They maintain it by delivering what they promised and letting the chips fall. So instead of bending over backward and ruining your margins for one toxic client, if you enforce your boundaries, make your policies the bad guy, not your emotions. Lastly, view the hits as conditioning. When you realize that every fire you put out is just building your tolerance for the next level, the panic stops. Emotional control, unshakable boundaries and ruthless logic create a bulletproof CEO. When you absorb the hit and keep walking, you become untouchable. Bottom line, you can't control how the market behaves, but you have absolute control over how you react. Thicken your skin, trust your math and stay focused. Because when you do, you'll handle the pressure better than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex, reminding you your emotional stability is your greatest asset.
