Alex Ruiz
Not a lot of people know this, but I'll just look into the camera.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
And I'll look at you too. Yeah, I was homeless for a little bit. One thing that def help me, I separated myself.
Alex Ruiz
I wasn't afraid to stand out and.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I wasn't afraid to look dumb, to just.
Alex Ruiz
I'm a big believer in Christ.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I was meant to be set apart and stand apart.
Alex Ruiz
And I don't mind standing alone either.
Paul Alex (Host)
Never heard anybody that has a funding company that actually articulated the way you did.
Alex Ruiz
I can look at you, Paul. I can look at my camera, Emilio, and everybody else and be like, hey, you wouldn't know I'm an introvert.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
You wouldn't know I'm uncomfortable. Yeah, but I'm willing to be uncomfortable to grow foreign.
Paul Alex (Host)
Hey, guys, and welcome back to Level Podcast. I'm Paul. Alex. Guys, we are ranked number one in all categories and in business because of you. Thank you for the. What is it, the 4 million downloads in August, right, Emilio? Yes, sir. All right, so we are shooting for 5 million downloads because we are bringing on great guests like our next guest. Now, our next guest, he's actually an expert when it comes to credit repair and funding, guys. He has been able to fund people up to $12 million. That's right, $12 million everywhere from real estate to entrepreneurship to 9 to 5ers to even our military veterans. Thank you for what you guys do. With that being said, he's been doing credit and funding for the past three years. He's 25 years old, guys. He comes from a background of adversity, okay? And he's been able to go ahead and take that level of experience and make something out of himself. He's living in Las Vegas right now, and he's just an overall great guy. Alex Ruiz, welcome to the show.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I appreciate it, brother. Thank you.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah, absolutely, man. So, Alex, you're coming from Vegas. How was the plane ride, dude?
Alex Ruiz
It was pretty long.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I'm not gonna lie.
Alex Ruiz
I had a flight from Vegas to.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Kansas City, Missouri, and I don't like the Chiefs.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
So I was there for, like, two hours, and then.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Then I drove here. It was pretty much a flyer for, like, four hours.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
Well, shout out to all my chief fans, guys. All right. But with that being said, tell us.
Emilio (Co-host)
A little bit about your background, brother.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, so I'm obviously a mix.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I'm sure you probably noticed I come.
Alex Ruiz
From California, Glendora, California. I'm Hispanic, Spaniard, Italian, Native American, and.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Some type of Filipina.
Emilio (Co-host)
Oh, yeah, you're a good mixture, brother. You're a good mixture.
Paul Alex (Host)
I would say, you know, if I was to first meet you, I'd be.
Emilio (Co-host)
Like, yeah, this guy's Hispanic for sure.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
You know, yablo espanol, porquito, poquito.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
A little bit not fluent.
Alex Ruiz
I wasn't taught.
Paul Alex (Host)
I love it, dude.
Emilio (Co-host)
I love it.
Paul Alex (Host)
So you're 25 years old or old right now, and you're currently live in Las Vegas. And then your niche and your industry that you're dominating right now is credit, repair and funding.
Emilio (Co-host)
Tell me a little bit about that.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, so I started at 22.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I'm about to go into my third year.
Alex Ruiz
Like you mentioned, it's pretty much just me helping a lot of mortgage lenders, real estate agents, real estate investors. I help them fix their credit, get.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Them approved for whatever they need, credit.
Alex Ruiz
Cards, or business funding. Then from there, I'm just going to.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Be able to open the doors.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Credit just opens up doors.
Paul Alex (Host)
No, it does. And why are you focusing so much on just the real estate industry portion? Because I know with funding, you know, there's. There's quite a few different funding companies, just like there is quite a few different business consultants in the online space. We know this. But specifically with you, I mean, you're part of Sub2 Community, which is a Pace Morby. Community Pace. He's going to be on the show, you know, next week, which is pretty cool. And then, you know, one of my other clients, Chris Craig. Shout out, Chris. Yeah. So you join all these different real estate communities. Why? Is there a specific reason?
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, I like to Help out a lot of the homeless veterans, or you have them use their VA skit approved. And also, not a lot of people know this, but I'll just look into.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
The camera and I'll look at you, too. Yeah, I was homeless for a little bit.
Paul Alex (Host)
Oh, wow.
Capella University Sponsor
Okay.
Alex Ruiz
So I like to give back.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
And I like to definitely let them know that it doesn't matter how you.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Start, it's just how you finish.
Paul Alex (Host)
No, absolutely. And I mean, you know, having. Having a background like that is the reason why, more than likely why you're so successful right now. And it's because I always tell people this. It's two paths, typically, that entrepreneurs go to. It's usually either the path of, you know, you are in a good home, good environment, great parents, they tell you, we love you. Hey, you're going to be the best. And then they basically program you to go ahead and be successful in life.
Emilio (Co-host)
But then you have entrepreneurs like us.
Paul Alex (Host)
That our background might be okay. There might be some critical incidents that I like to talk about, and then we go through the hardships, and we learn from those hardships and just keep on going.
Emilio (Co-host)
Right.
Paul Alex (Host)
We're not comfortable.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
So let me ask you this, Alex. What would you say, okay. To someone who is trying to go ahead and break into the credit, repair, and funding space? What would be a first couple of steps that they would need to do.
Emilio (Co-host)
In order to do that?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
For one, one thing, that definitely helped me separated myself.
Emilio (Co-host)
Okay.
Alex Ruiz
For one, I look already different.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
That which helped me out. Yeah. Right.
Alex Ruiz
Number two is I wasn't afraid to.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Stand out, and I wasn't afraid to look dumb to just do it.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I didn't care what any people think. Just like everything in your channel and your podcast say. Right.
Alex Ruiz
Right. If you want to stand out, you.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Got to look different and you got to be different because you are set apart.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yes.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
And obviously, I'm a big believer in Christ and in God, so I was.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Meant to set apart, be set apart, and stand apart.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
And I don't mind standing alone either. Yeah. I'm definitely an individual, and I'm gonna lead you with my story and my.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Testimony and tell you how I did it.
Alex Ruiz
But I think it's really big on.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Setting yourself apart and going all in.
Alex Ruiz
Like, if you want to take that.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
In, you got to burn the ships.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah.
Emilio (Co-host)
Got to burn the ships, man. I always tell people that you got.
Paul Alex (Host)
To burn the ships every single time. Because if you have one foot in, one foot out, you're never gonna go in. And then on top of that, people say, well, how come it's not working? Well, dude, because you're not investing enough time in it.
Emilio (Co-host)
Right, Exactly.
Paul Alex (Host)
Do you agree? Yes. So, Alex, what would you say is the number one reason why people do not get funding?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
That's actually a really great question.
Paul Alex (Host)
Based on your experience, based on all.
Emilio (Co-host)
The people that you help, brother, why don't people qualify to get funding?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Their credit profile is one. And also number two, no patience.
Emilio (Co-host)
No patience.
Alex Ruiz
No patience. Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
Okay, so you dealt with clients that were like, hey, dude, if you can't give me the funding now, I'm not gonna go ahead and do business with you.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, that's a big happens.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Happens a lot. You'd be surprised.
Alex Ruiz
Usually the way that this works is, right. If you don't have, like, the credit, like, qualifications, you're not gonna get funding anyways, right?
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
But if you do, there's a lot of misconceptions just based on credit and business funding that they think it's just.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Done in 24 hours. It's not.
Alex Ruiz
Right. You're dealing with, obviously, major banks.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
There's private lenders, there's private investors, and there's private companies.
Alex Ruiz
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Where you have to have patience. It's not done overnight.
Emilio (Co-host)
So let's talk about that, man.
Paul Alex (Host)
I mean, you get people coming to.
Emilio (Co-host)
You for credit repair and funding, right?
Paul Alex (Host)
So what's the actual process?
Emilio (Co-host)
So let's say that I have a credit score of, let's say 680, which is like that.
Paul Alex (Host)
And the reason why I say 680, guys, is because I've dealt with so many clients that I know. Typically it's usually between 680 and 720. It's not the best, but it's good enough, right?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah. You're not wrong.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah. So you got me around 680, and I'm like, hey, dude, I need some funding because I want to invest into.
Emilio (Co-host)
My first real estate deal.
Paul Alex (Host)
Right. Take us through the process.
Emilio (Co-host)
How does that look?
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. So just to clear any misconceptions, the way this looks is a 680 is.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Just a score, right?
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. That's just your application to put in for funding. The real bread and butter, Paul, is going to be your profile, which is, do you have 10 or more accounts? Do you have at least a 5,000 plus credit card? You have more than five years of age, right. You have three or less inquiries.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Do you have any derogatory marks?
Alex Ruiz
If you don't have that, that means you either need coaching, credit coaching, or authorizations and stuff. Like that or you need more credit repair.
Emilio (Co-host)
Got it.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
So if you don't have that, then obviously that means you're doing something wrong.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Where I can help you out, the brand can help you out. ANR enterprise can help you out. I can help you out. Right.
Alex Ruiz
Then from there it's going to be, you're going to be filling out an application with me. Right. I'm going to make sure, I'm going to get you exactly what you need. It could be a line of credit.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Could be a cash flow revenue deal, it could be an SBA loan or anything like that.
Emilio (Co-host)
Okay.
Alex Ruiz
The whole point is that I open.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Up doors and I can open up any door for you. You just have to have the qualifications to get in.
Paul Alex (Host)
Okay, so that makes sense. So you educate your clients that come.
Emilio (Co-host)
In for credit repair.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Absolutely.
Paul Alex (Host)
And that makes a lot of sense, man. Because I never heard anybody that has a funding company that actually articulated the way you did, which is good. You're breaking it down to me where.
Emilio (Co-host)
Dude, I'm not an expert in this and funding.
Pipedrive Sponsor
Right.
Paul Alex (Host)
So I learned something new today. So Alex, you've been in the funding and credit repair space for three years. What were you doing before that?
Alex Ruiz
I was doing door to door selling solar.
Paul Alex (Host)
Solar. So let's talk about solar, dude. Now that you did solar, how long were you doing solar for?
Alex Ruiz
Almost three years.
Paul Alex (Host)
Three years. Would you say that that helped you a lot in creating your funding business and your credit repair business? Getting like the actual skill set from.
Alex Ruiz
That, I would say actually helped me out.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Being able to present and talk on stage and being able to talk to you.
Paul Alex (Host)
Okay, so he gave you soft skills.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Give me soft skills. Yeah. Wow.
Alex Ruiz
Actually self developmental skills and then obviously life skills.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right?
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Because I'm an introvert.
Emilio (Co-host)
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I don't like to talk.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. Especially when I'm by myself.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I like being quiet and alone.
Emilio (Co-host)
Same dude.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
So it definitely helped me as far as presenting wise because I used to be talking really fast. Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Like you know, like cold calls.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
I would blast through the whole script.
Emilio (Co-host)
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Because I was uncomfortable.
Alex Ruiz
But I can look at you, Paul, and I can look at my camera, Emilio and everybody else and be like, hey, you wouldn't know I'm an introvert.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
You wouldn't know I'm uncomfortable.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
But I'm willing to be uncomfortable to grow.

Emilio (Co-host)
I believe in just any aspect of your life. It's just you got to be able to be uncomfortable to go ahead and grow. And I always tell people that man, that's. That's the first step. They're like, oh, well, how can I.
Paul Alex (Host)
Go ahead and start a business? I was, well, let me ask you, how comfortable are you talking to people? Because every business you're gonna start, dude.
Emilio (Co-host)
You have to talk to people.
Paul Alex (Host)
You know, sales is the number one skill, guys.
Emilio (Co-host)
And if you guys don't believe it, I'm telling you right now, you have.
Paul Alex (Host)
To talk to people. Otherwise, how can you go ahead and ask for the sale? How can you go and ask people for money? How can you go ahead and provide value? Right?
Emilio (Co-host)
It's all through soft skills. So learn it in 2025, guys.
Paul Alex (Host)
So, Alex, you were in solar. How'd you get into solar?
Alex Ruiz
Great question. I got tired of sitting at my.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Crib at link, like 20 or 21, and just playing video games all day. I just wanted to test myself.
Paul Alex (Host)
You were a gamer?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I was just a gamer, yeah.
Sponsor/Ad Narrator
I love that.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I just.
Alex Ruiz
Was just Call of Duty.
Paul Alex (Host)
Call of Duty, my man.
Alex Ruiz
I was playing wars, so I was just playing games all day and I was like, is this really, you know, obviously at 21?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I was just like, is this really what I'm doing right now at 21?
Alex Ruiz
Should I be doing more? Right, Right.
Paul Alex (Host)
What year was. Was the year you were 21?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
2021.
Paul Alex (Host)
So 2021. So in 2021, I think I was probably just my first. No, I actually broke my first year.
Emilio (Co-host)
In being in the online space because.
Paul Alex (Host)
I joined April 2020. So in 2021, that's when I built.
Emilio (Co-host)
The first digital company, et cetera.
Sponsor/Ad Narrator
Yeah.
Emilio (Co-host)
Dude, I can't believe the four years have passed by so fast.
Sponsor/Ad Narrator
That's amazing.
Paul Alex (Host)
So 2021, you're playing video games, and then all of a sudden, is it just one day you're just like, dude.
Emilio (Co-host)
I gotta do something?
Alex Ruiz
Pretty much, yeah. Yeah. I just was like. So I ended up playing college for a little bit.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I actually played JC. I tore my ACL.
Alex Ruiz
Actually had a Division 2 scholarship, but.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I tore it my senior year.
Paul Alex (Host)
You were playing football?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I was playing football, yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
What position?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I was a wide receiver and kick returner.
Paul Alex (Host)
So you're quick.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
And I would do. And I used to do track.
Emilio (Co-host)
I love that. I love that.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Okay.
Paul Alex (Host)
Hence why you asked me about the.
Emilio (Co-host)
Did you go running?
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, Yeah, I love it.
Paul Alex (Host)
I was like, I never had anybody asked me that.
Emilio (Co-host)
You know, I'm wearing.
Paul Alex (Host)
I'm wearing my workout gear today, guys.
Emilio (Co-host)
Being comfortable today.
Paul Alex (Host)
But okay, Alex, so from that. Were you at a relationship at the time?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah, I was.
Emilio (Co-host)
You were okay.
Paul Alex (Host)
And I know you mentioned you were at a fiery relationship. How was that? Being in a fiery relationship at that.
Emilio (Co-host)
Age and not really having, I guess, the proper roadmap yet. How was that with you and your actual spouse at that time? Like, the dynamic.
Alex Ruiz
Well, for one.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right. She was actually an immigrant.
Sponsor/Ad Narrator
Okay.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
So two, I have a insatiable, like, ambitious drive.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah. To be, like, my best self.
Emilio (Co-host)
Of course.
Alex Ruiz
So at that time when I was.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
21, I didn't feel like I was being myself.
Alex Ruiz
My best self, for, like, obviously, me, my family.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Just, like, how you have that internal fire.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
That doesn't go out with, like, anything.
Emilio (Co-host)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
I can't handle closing my eyes every single night and not feeling like I.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Did everything that possible to in the day.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah. It's a shitty feeling, dude.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. So because I have nine siblings, I.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Have a single mom, and we were homeless at the time. Right.
Alex Ruiz
I took it upon myself mentally to stand out, and that's what made me.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Go into barber school.
Emilio (Co-host)
Wow.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right?
Alex Ruiz
So I was like, my mom's playing.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
You know, obviously, haircuts are a lot. Right. A single moment. I have nine siblings. Haircuts can be anywhere from 30 to 45. Right.
Alex Ruiz
So I took it upon myself saying, mom, I'm gonna go to barber school.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
And I'm gonna cut your son's hair.
Paul Alex (Host)
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Just so you can save money. That's just the type of person that I am.
Paul Alex (Host)
So you went and you transitioned at.
Emilio (Co-host)
That time from solar into barber school. And then while you're at barber school, is this.
Paul Alex (Host)
How did you feel when you were there?
Emilio (Co-host)
Were you there, you know, just saying, like, hey, I really want to go in on this, or were you just doing it just to do it?
Alex Ruiz
I was more doing it just to gain the skill. But also, what. Really, I didn't open up my mind to, but what I was learning very.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Quickly because I'm a very fast learner.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. More personality.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right. Be personable.
Alex Ruiz
Right. And also just having the life skills.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
To talk to somebody that you don't know.
Emilio (Co-host)
Exactly.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Shake their hand.
Alex Ruiz
Right. They're in a chair for, like, 40.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Minutes, so I can talk about whatever I want.
Paul Alex (Host)
It's huge.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
So I was still doing solo at the time. So I'm like, hey, how.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
How high is your bill right now for electricity?
Paul Alex (Host)
So.
Alex Ruiz
So.
Paul Alex (Host)
So you were at. You were doing the barber school. They're at the chair. And then you're like, okay, let me swing this to see if they need solar.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah.
Emilio (Co-host)
That's awesome.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right? I love that.
Alex Ruiz
So I was Doing that. Also I was swinging.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I was learning about credit at the time. That's where it got me introduced to this space.
Emilio (Co-host)
How did you learn about credit?
Alex Ruiz
Well, I was in a mentorship.
Emilio (Co-host)
Okay.
Alex Ruiz
Also I was reading.
Paul Alex (Host)
So you invested in yourself?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
What was your first.
Emilio (Co-host)
Was it a course or a book or a community?
Paul Alex (Host)
What was.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
It was a community.
Paul Alex (Host)
It was a community. What type of community was it?
Emilio (Co-host)
Do you mind sharing?
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, it was called CEO Academy.
Paul Alex (Host)
Oh, CEO Academy.
Emilio (Co-host)
Okay, cool, cool.
Paul Alex (Host)
How much did you invest to get into that?
Alex Ruiz
15,000.
Paul Alex (Host)
So 15,000. And what were, I guess, the deliverables.
Emilio (Co-host)
That they were going to offer you?
Alex Ruiz
They were going to help me build my brand, my llc, my website, and.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Obviously help me make sales.
Paul Alex (Host)
So like, more like a digital consulting offer.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, I love that.
Alex Ruiz
So I invested into that.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
But guess what? I also invested into barber school.
Paul Alex (Host)
Okay. So you invested into two things.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
What would you say because you have the experience, Alex, what would you say of trying to do two things at.
Emilio (Co-host)
The same time now that you have the experience?
Paul Alex (Host)
Good idea, Bad idea.
Alex Ruiz
Good idea. If you're young, bad idea. In the long run.
Emilio (Co-host)
Why is that?
Alex Ruiz
Why? Because you're split apart and you're not fully committed.
Emilio (Co-host)
So you're not burning the boats.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
You're not burning the boats.
Emilio (Co-host)
I love that.
Alex Ruiz
Right. Okay. I'm obviously 25 and I say that very young, but I have a lot.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Of experience just in. Obviously just in life.
Alex Ruiz
Just because I come from a lot of adversity. Yeah, but also, you're moving fast, dude.
Paul Alex (Host)
You're moving fast.
Emilio (Co-host)
And I see that, you know, through your story, you're, you know, you invest in yourself. Did you ever have any friends or anyone in your life ever tell you, like, hey, courses are scams?
Alex Ruiz
No, not really.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Even if they did, I wouldn't listen.
Paul Alex (Host)
I love that. I remember the first time I invested ever.
Emilio (Co-host)
My very first course, this was back.
Paul Alex (Host)
In 2020 and it was more towards digital marketing.
Emilio (Co-host)
And I remember it was get. It was called Digital Millionaire. You know, it was the book and then. And then they had the program. So when I had bought, I spent.
Paul Alex (Host)
$10,000 and that was the actual first course. But the first time I ever invested.
Emilio (Co-host)
In actual self education was with my mentor who showed me my first niche, which was ATMs at the time, just at a thousand bucks with him.
Paul Alex (Host)
And he was like, yeah, dude, just call me whenever.
Emilio (Co-host)
And that was. I consider that mentorship right back when I was growing up, dude, when I was around your age, I never considered anyone guided me or giving me advice Mentorship. But now I like the fact that people are like, yeah, that's an actual mentor, dude. Okay. That makes a lot of sense.
Paul Alex (Host)
So that's good, man. So you invest in yourself, and do you consistently believe in.
Emilio (Co-host)
Consistently, like, leveling up your education as you go?
Alex Ruiz
I do, yeah. Yeah. Because. Well, also, if you're not. If you were playing for, like, let's.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Say, a gym membership and you don't show up, you're just wasting money. Same.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
It's the same thing.
Alex Ruiz
But also, you got to apply it, what you're learning.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right. Because if you're just overthinking everything.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. You're not.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
You're gonna have analysis paralysis.
Emilio (Co-host)
I love that.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Which I read your book on, which is very good actually, by the way.
Alex Ruiz
So it was very big. I didn't have that.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I didn't overthink anything. When I committed to something, I commit.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. So if I'm gonna be all in, which is why that my mindset is.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Very much, we're in the ships.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Then you take the island.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
No, you.
Emilio (Co-host)
You definitely do, man. And I learned that, you know, building my first business, dude, as a side hustle. Right. I had a lot of friends that were, like, in crypto. I had a lot of friends that were in real estate. I had a lot of friends that.
Paul Alex (Host)
Were like, dude, become a slumlord. And I'm like, dude, I just want.
Emilio (Co-host)
To do this first and then I'll do that.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
And that was just the way my.
Emilio (Co-host)
Mind has always been, dude. Because, like, I was never, like, such.
Paul Alex (Host)
A great multitasker unless I was forced to.
Emilio (Co-host)
And when you're the police guys, they make you do multiple things, obviously, especially on your day to day. You're driving a car. You're on the phone, you're on the laptop.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Emilio (Co-host)
You're on the radio.
Paul Alex (Host)
You probably are chasing somebody. Like, dude, you're doing so many things at the same time. I've never been. I've always been a man of just.
Emilio (Co-host)
One thing and just locking it down. Focus and just dominate.
Paul Alex (Host)
So I agree with you, dude. I agree.
Emilio (Co-host)
If you're a beginner right now, and.
Paul Alex (Host)
Let'S say you were either my position or Alex position. Like, and you're just starting right now.
Emilio (Co-host)
And you're just like, dude, I don't know what I want to do in my life. Like, I don't know if this is the right path.
Paul Alex (Host)
Well, ask yourself a couple questions. Right? Number one, are you passionate about it? Can you see yourself doing it in the next five years?
Emilio (Co-host)
Okay.
Paul Alex (Host)
Because here's the thing. There is such a thing as burnout. There is such a thing as not being motivated. There is such a thing as just doing the niche or, or, or, or whatever it is that you're doing and then people can see right through it.
Emilio (Co-host)
But when you're passionate about it, it fulfills you guys. Dude. It changes the game.
Paul Alex (Host)
People can see it, right?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Absolutely.
Paul Alex (Host)
And especially because we're in a trust era now. We're in a trust era where you.
Emilio (Co-host)
Have to build trust.
Paul Alex (Host)
So let's talk about personal branding, dude. Yeah. So I know that you're you currently through two in person events. And what was your reasoning behind starting to do in person events?
Alex Ruiz
I wanted to see people in person.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
And who I was working with. But why should I work with them? Right.
Alex Ruiz
Because everybody's like, why should I work with Paul?
Emilio (Co-host)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
But Paul brings all the value. Paul brings all the game.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Paul brings experience.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
And that can transcend anybody. Right? Right.
Alex Ruiz
For me it was who is, who.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Am I bringing in? Who's my audience? Right. And I started noticing it was your avatar. Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
I started noticing it was mortgage lenders, car salesmen, solar companies, and also just.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Individual business owners, entrepreneurs that was coming to my events. Pretty cool, right?
Alex Ruiz
So I was like, I have what.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
They need, I have solutions. Come get the solution. Yeah, you just got to show up.
Alex Ruiz
I don't charge any tickets.
Emilio (Co-host)
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Come learn. I teach about credit and business funding, trade lines, authorized users, all that stuff.
Alex Ruiz
So if I'm bringing the value, you're.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Going to come and get it. But I want to know why you're in this room and why you want to talk to me.
Emilio (Co-host)
Right?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
What's your why?
Paul Alex (Host)
So when, when you promote this, right. You're promoting this on like social media or how did you, I guess, get.
Emilio (Co-host)
The process of doing live events?
Alex Ruiz
Well, to honestly tell you the truth, I met with this guy named Teacup.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
His name is Liz Baldo.
Alex Ruiz
He had a story that really resonated with me. He came from. He was homeless for a couple of years.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
And then he ended up making 15 million his.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
His first year in entrepreneurship.
Emilio (Co-host)
Wow. Okay.
Alex Ruiz
So I met him in la, but once he told me that if I was to go into your niche or in your space, I would dominate just.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Because I throw events.
Alex Ruiz
Once he said that stuck with you. Clicked with me in my head.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
And I said, I'm, I'm a part of a bunch of different communities. I'm going to throw my first event.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
So I threw it the very next month.
Emilio (Co-host)
I Love that you took in perfect action. Yeah, I'm gonna make it happen.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Exactly.
Alex Ruiz
And that's so I put on Luma, I put on Eventbrite, and then I.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Put it all over my social media.
Alex Ruiz
I send it out to all. Like, I think I'm a part of.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Like seven or eight different communities.

BNC Bank Sponsor
Well, I was down on my last dollar Then I started saving because the bank said fiscal restraint is what you're craving. So I put my earnings in a high yield account let the savings compound and the interest mount. I'm optimizing cash flow, putting debt in check now time is my friend and not a pain in the neck and we've got a little cash to rebuild the old deck.
Emilio (Co-host)
Boring money moves make kind of lame songs but they sound pretty sweet to your wallet. BNC bank brilliantly boring since 1865. You gotta use your network, man.
Paul Alex (Host)
What would you say is some advice for somebody who is trying to join some communities to go ahead and network? What would be your advice now that you're part of so many?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
What would be my advice if they're trying to join any networking?
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah, like what would be the right approach? Would you say stick with one niche? Would you say know who your audience is? Would you say like, hey, be intentional and add value when you go to these communities so you're able to go ahead and build relationships. Like, you know, you're part of many communities now and you've been able to host two successful events. You're about to host your third one. So what's some word of advice for someone who is looking to join communities?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Can I tell you something crazy?
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, sure.
Alex Ruiz
I go after the big dog there. Kind of like how I met you.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
In la where I said, hey Paul, you had no idea who I was.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
But I shook your hand.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
And I had a five minute conversation with you.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, you did.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
So I honestly, what I do is I kind of study who's throwing the event. Got it right for one. If you study him, you'll know exactly.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Who is who he is attracting.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yep.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
And I knew Who. Exactly who you were attracting.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. But also, I'm a part of cash flow community, so that's one. And then for two, if I was to barely go into a new event, I would talk to the big dog there, which is, like, the owner or.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
The one that's hosting it, introduce myself.
Paul Alex (Host)
Smart.
Alex Ruiz
Set myself apart. Yeah. Right from there, I'm gonna talk to whoever his number two is, whoever I see him standing around with.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Number three, number four. I'm just gonna keep going down the ladder.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. That is how I got into these rooms.
Emilio (Co-host)
I love that. I love that, man.
Alex Ruiz
So I was never afraid to, like, if. Let's say, I'm sure you're probably not.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Afraid to walk up to Jeff Bezos.
Alex Ruiz
If I walked up to.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
If I saw Jeff Bezos, I'm gonna walk up to him.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, for sure.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I'm gonna shake his hand, introduce myself.
Alex Ruiz
And he's gonna be like, who is.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
This person with all these tattoos coming up to me?
Emilio (Co-host)
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
But I'm gonna leave an impression.
Paul Alex (Host)
Of course.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Same thing I did on you.
Emilio (Co-host)
No, that's.
Paul Alex (Host)
That's good, man. And that's. I think that's the right approach, man. You, number one, you can't be scared. And I know all of us, at.
Emilio (Co-host)
A certain point in our lives, we're scared to go ahead and take action.
Sponsor/Ad Narrator
Right?
Paul Alex (Host)
That's just.
Emilio (Co-host)
We're human, dude.
Paul Alex (Host)
But I agree, man. I remember when I was 18 and I started throwing nightclubs. A lot of people don't know I used to throw nightclubs and these nightclubs. Guys, I wasn't throwing small nightclubs.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
No.
Paul Alex (Host)
I was throwing, like, you know, 10001500 people every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But the only reason why I was able to do that is because I.
Emilio (Co-host)
Actually met with the event organizers at.
Paul Alex (Host)
My first initial events that I used.
Emilio (Co-host)
To go to when I was 18, and I would ask them questions, and I would say, like, hey, I want to provide value. I'll be your camera guy.
Paul Alex (Host)
Bought a camera and start taking photos.
Emilio (Co-host)
Of the event goies. And then I would load them up on MySpace and people would download them.
Paul Alex (Host)
Now, that was my value.
Emilio (Co-host)
That's how I learned the game.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah, right. So same thing, man. You're analyzing people that are already doing it, and then you're just basically taking the processes and you're doing it yourselves.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
That's.
Emilio (Co-host)
That's perfect, dude. I love that.
Alex Ruiz
You know, I'm a very much, like, obviously, like, any job, right? You're going to learn on the go, of course.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
But I learned also by watching of.
Alex Ruiz
Course by also seeing it done in front of my face, and then I.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Can pick it up very quickly.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, you got.
Paul Alex (Host)
You got to be a student at the game, dude. A lot of people, I feel like a lot of people, once they get to a certain level in life, they go ahead and they just say, oh, well, I already know everything. And then they don't want to go ahead and let's say something happens with.
Emilio (Co-host)
The event that they're throwing. They're like, well, why didn't it go right?
Paul Alex (Host)
Well, dude, if you don't go ahead and ask the people that have already.
Emilio (Co-host)
Done it, how are you supposed to know?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Exactly.
Paul Alex (Host)
Right. And this actually the shortcut to success, Right. I'm pretty sure all the communities that you're part of, all the programs that.
Emilio (Co-host)
You'Re a part of, all the self education that you invested into, Alex.
Paul Alex (Host)
I mean, it's helped you take a shortcut to success, correct?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Absolutely.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, dude.
Alex Ruiz
Absolutely. It's what got me from contentment, from where I was at 21, where I.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Was like, is this really where I'm at right now?
Alex Ruiz
Is this.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Where is this, like, my reality?
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
And I was like, why not test myself?
Emilio (Co-host)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
Why not self develop and then keep growing from there?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
And then everything else just compounded over time.
Emilio (Co-host)
No, absolutely, man. I'm a big believer. Your network is your net worth, right, brother?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Absolutely.
Emilio (Co-host)
Absolutely, man. All right, cool.
Paul Alex (Host)
So where do you see yourself taking.
Emilio (Co-host)
Your actual business in credit, repair and funding in the next two years?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Next two years?
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, man.
Alex Ruiz
I see myself talking on bigger stages.
Paul Alex (Host)
What is. What is your vision? What type of stages? Whose stage? How many people?
Emilio (Co-host)
Where do you see yourself?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Okay, it's a good question. No one's ever actually asked me that.
Alex Ruiz
I would say, honestly, the biggest stage I would want to be at is.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I would say Dallas Stadium is one.
Alex Ruiz
Or just being able to travel around the world.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Tell my story.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, tell my story of where I grew up from Glendora, California, what I grew up with and where I am now.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
I wasn't giving a shortcut. There was nobody supporting me.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right. I was 21.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. I didn't know what I wanted to do at my.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
At the time of my life when I was 21. But I know I wanted to do something great. Yep.
Alex Ruiz
But due to me saying, oh, this is where I'm going to be at.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Do I see myself here the next five years?
Sponsor/Ad Narrator
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
But I didn't.
Alex Ruiz
I want to say, the highest point.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Of right now of my life is talking to you.
Emilio (Co-host)
Oh, appreciate that. Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
So another One, I would say the next next two years. I would say a big goal just on the spot would be speaking at.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Bigger events with a thousand people into in it.
Emilio (Co-host)
I think it's very possible. Yeah, I think it's very possible.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I think I can definitely do that.
Alex Ruiz
Probably in the year.
Emilio (Co-host)
Oh, 100%, dude.
Paul Alex (Host)
You just got to go out and.
Emilio (Co-host)
And, you know, put yourself out there and, you know, tell your story a little bit more. Work on your million dollar story. And I think anything's possible, bro. I mean, shoot. I never thought that I was gonna do stages, but I got the invite from a friend and, dude, it was a game changer. I'm like, dude, this is amazing, right?
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, it's amazing.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
I love it.
Emilio (Co-host)
It's amazing. Different energy when you're talking in front of a lot of people, right?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah, it's different.
Emilio (Co-host)
So I know you'll dominate, man.
Paul Alex (Host)
All right, so this is the level of podcast, as you know, Alex, and we help a lot of people with mindset, dude.
Emilio (Co-host)
That's why a lot of people tune in.
Paul Alex (Host)
So with that being said, let's say you're going to have about 4 million.
Emilio (Co-host)
Downloads on this episode by the end of this year.
Paul Alex (Host)
What do you have to say to.
Emilio (Co-host)
My listeners and viewers right now on how they can level up from your experience?
Alex Ruiz
I would say have a game plan, have a foundation.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
So my foundation, just. If you were to take anything off of me, it is foundation. Has to be God. You have to have relationship with God. There's nothing that you can build on.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
If God is not involved and you.
Alex Ruiz
Are not fully committed.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right.
Alex Ruiz
Number two, I would say it's journaling. Right. Write down your thoughts, good days and bad days.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
You have a track record of what you're going through. Right.
Alex Ruiz
Kind of like a Kaizen journal.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right. Love that. Number.
Alex Ruiz
I would say number three is go to the gym. Yeah. Sweat. I literally thought he came back from.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Running, so I was like, oh, he's sweating for sure.
Alex Ruiz
Right. So I would say go to the gym, look fit, dominate the field. Right. Set yourself apart. Someone knows based off your consistency and.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Your business that you work out.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yep.
Alex Ruiz
Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Paul works out.
Alex Ruiz
I work out. Right.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
You just couldn't tell because I have a sleeper build.
Alex Ruiz
Number I would say number four.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Alex Ruiz
I would say read a book, keep investing in yourself. Right. You are. You are your own biggest investment.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Right. Just like you are.
Alex Ruiz
Yeah. Right. And then number five, I would say make sure you check up on the.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Ones I would say that got lost along the way.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah. That's Huge, man. That's huge.
Paul Alex (Host)
It's deep.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah.
Emilio (Co-host)
You have.
Alex Ruiz
Can't save everyone, but you can definitely.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Check up on them.
Paul Alex (Host)
Yeah. Dude, I always say something like this when people know they have to level up. The hardest thing to do is to.
Emilio (Co-host)
Let go of people that you know are holding you back, bro.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
That was a big one for me.
Paul Alex (Host)
It's huge.
Emilio (Co-host)
It was big for me, bro. I had to let go a lot of family, and it sucks. This is family that, you know, I was raised with, I had good times with in my 20s, like we're talking about. We would go out, have beers and.
Paul Alex (Host)
Go all these Giants games, baseball games.
Emilio (Co-host)
And I don't even talk to them.
Paul Alex (Host)
Anymore because guess what?
Emilio (Co-host)
They didn't want to level up. When I. When I asked them, I was like, yo, join me in the journey. They were like, no, we're comfortable doing this. Hey, dude, I'm sorry, I can't save you.
Paul Alex (Host)
I gotta go.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, you know?
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Yeah.
Paul Alex (Host)
So if you guys are listening to this and you guys feel like you're.
Emilio (Co-host)
Stuck, look, here's some knowledge from Alex and me. Change your environment. Change your environment for one year.
Paul Alex (Host)
See how much you're going to grow.
Emilio (Co-host)
I guarantee you will grow massively, guys, okay?
Paul Alex (Host)
Because everything you listen to, who you're.
Emilio (Co-host)
Around and what you watch is very vital to your future at any age. I don't care what age you are.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Absolutely.
Emilio (Co-host)
You know, I've even had my parents stop watching the media so much and their. Their mindset has changed because it's just consistent fear. That's it.
Paul Alex (Host)
Consistent fear and drama.
Emilio (Co-host)
We don't need that in our life. We need to level up.
Paul Alex (Host)
With that being said, Alex, where can.
Emilio (Co-host)
My audience find you, brother?
Alex Ruiz
Yeah, you can find me at my Instagram. It's Imrobert. Alexruiz. Uh, you can also find me at my events.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
So I post them every single time. Also, you can buy my number, Gmail as well.
Emilio (Co-host)
Yeah, awesome, brother.
Paul Alex (Host)
And then also, if anybody needs credit.
Emilio (Co-host)
Repair and funding, can.
Paul Alex (Host)
Can they also hit you up on your DMs or do they go to a specific website or anything?
Alex Ruiz
I have a website, but I would.
Alex Ruiz (continuation or emphasis)
Say DMs or I also provide my business phone number as well.
Emilio (Co-host)
Okay, cool.
Paul Alex (Host)
And we'll make sure to get the information and drop it down in the bio as well. Guys, there you have it. Alex Ruiz. He's been able to do over 12 million in funding and credit repair for his clients in the past three years. He's being in very difficult situations.
Emilio (Co-host)
Setbacks.
Paul Alex (Host)
I mean, absolutely everything, even being homeless to transitioning now to being a successful entrepreneur in the funding and credit repair space. Guys, share this with a friend that.
Emilio (Co-host)
You care about that's going through a rough time.
Paul Alex (Host)
This story might change their life.
Emilio (Co-host)
You never know.
Paul Alex (Host)
Okay? It's about leveling up you your mindset.
Emilio (Co-host)
And the people around you.
Paul Alex (Host)
