What's up everybody? And welcome back to Level Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we're going to be diving into something that can transform your business. How to build a team that thinks thinks like entrepreneurs. Because let's be real here, if you're the only one driving the vision while your team just punches the clock, you're not scaling, you're just surviving. So let's go ahead and fix that. First, hire for Mindset not just skill set. When I was building a couple of my first businesses, I didn't just look for people who could just do the job. I looked for people who want to grow, take ownership and bring solutions to the table. Style skills can be taught, but mindset guys, that's the difference between someone who just execute and someone who innovates. Find people who think like owners, not just employees. Second, give them autonomy. If you micromanage, you're killing their entrepreneurial spirit. I learned that when you trust your team to make decisions and solve problems, they rise to the occasion. Set clear expectations, but let them take the wheel. People perform at their best when they feel empowered to think and act like leaders. And lastly, share the vision and the rewards. If your team doesn't know where the business is headed to or they fit into the bigger picture, they're not going to be vested. Guys, I always share my goals, my vision, and even the financial growth of the company with the team. And when we win, we win together. A team that shares the rewards, shares a responsibility, and that's how you build a culture of ownership. Guys, look, what's the bottom line here? If you want a team that thinks like entrepreneurs and operators, you have to lead like 1. Hire for the mindset. Give them the freedom to own their roles and align them with your vision. That's how you build a team that just doesn't want to work for you. They work with you. Guys. Thanks for tuning in to Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex, reminding you that great businesses aren't built by one person. They're actually built by a team that thinks like a boss. Build your team, share the vision, and as always, keep leveling up.
