Welcome to the Level up podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. All right, Today is a very important topic, guys. So we're going to be talking about the importance of focusing on building yourself up no matter what age you are at, guys. And finding the confidence and will to become a better version of yourself every day, even in a negative environment or without supportive spouse. So let's dive in. Self improvement is a lifelong journey that doesn't have an age limit. Whether you're 18 or 80, I don't care what your age is, but there's always room for growth and development. The first step is to recognize your worth and potential. You got to believe that you have the ability to change and improve regardless of the external circumstances. So if you're in a negative environment and don't have the support of a spouse, it can be tough. I've been there, guys. I've dealt with negativity my entire life. But remember, your journey is your own. You gotta start by setting up small achievable goals. Focus on those one area of your life where you can make a positive change. This could be anything from improving your health, learning a new skill, or even developing a hobby. Small victories build momentum and confidence. So surround yourself with positivity, even if it's not coming from your own immediate environment. You gotta seek out supportive friends, mentors and online communities, guys. This is why I like social media. I don't like social media for the personal reason, for the gossip. No. I like social media because it goes and connects me with like minded individuals that are actually positive influences that can provide encouragement and guidance when you need it the most. Okay? So develop a routine that includes time for self care and personal development. This could be reading, exercising, meditating, or even working on a passion project. Guys, Consistency is key. By dedicating time for yourself every day, you reinforce the belief that you are worth investing in. Okay? And like I always say, mindset is everything. Embrace a growth mindset, which means viewing challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. When you face with negativity, you gotta remind yourself that it's a reflection of others limitations, not your own. Use criticism as a catalyst of for improvement, not as a deterrent, guys. So it's also too important, very important to practice self compassion. You got to be kind to yourself. You got to acknowledge your efforts even if progression feels slow. And I understand everybody wants instant gratification, everybody wants to be rich, but you got to focus on being better. Celebrate your achievements no matter how small and recognize that every fourth step is a victory. Guys, you lack. If you lack a supportive spouse, okay then communication is crucial. Share your aspirations and progression with them and try to involve them in your journey. However, understand that your self worth isn't dependent on their validation. Sometimes you must be your own biggest cheerleader. And that's facts guys. So in conclusion, building yourself up at any stage requires belief in your potential, setting achievable goals, surrounding yourself with positivity, maintaining a consistent routine, embracing a growth mindset, and practicing self compassion. Your journey is uniquely yours and every step you take forward, becoming a better version of yourself is a step in the right direction. So thank you for tuning in to the Level up podcast.
