Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everybody? And welcome back to Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we're exposing a serious problem in the entrepreneurship world. Fake gurus. Now you've seen them. The ones that flexing the rented Lambos, standing in front of mansions or rented penthouses they don't own, selling you a secret formula to success. These guys aren't mentors, they're marketers. And if you don't know how to spot them, you'll waste time and money chasing illusions. First, real mentors don't sell dreams, they actually sell systems. A real mentor has receipts mentioned. Real businesses, real results, and real people they've actually helped. If someone's entire business model is teaching you how to make money, ask yourself, what have they actually built? Second, watch how they handle criticism. Fake gurus can't handle tough questions. They'll actually block you, avoid details or deflect with hype. A real mentor. They'll actually be transparent about the work it actually takes. And lastly, real mentors care about your execution, not just your purchase. If they disappear after you buy their course, they've never cared about your success at all. The right mentor actually invests in your growth, gives you real strategies and wants to see you guys win. Bottom line, if they flex more than they teach, run. Find mentors who's actually built what you want and are willing to guide you through the work, not just sell you a fantasy.
