Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we are diving into the high level mechanics of elite negotiation. The architecture of a deal. Because let's be real, if you walk into a boardroom trying to completely crush the other person and take every dollar off the table, you will win once and never do business with them again. Let's break down how to build long term wealth through collaboration. First, realize that the best deals leave everyone feeling victorious. Too many amateur entrepreneurs think negotiation is a zero sum game. They think for them to win, they the other side has to bleed. That is entirely false. If you squeeze a vendor so hard that they lose money, their service quality will immediately drop and your business will suffer. Whether you are buying a company or securing a massive client, longevity requires mutual benefit. If you act out of pure greed, you kill the relationship. Second, you have to understand exactly what the other side actually values. People do not always negotiate strictly for cash. Sometimes they want speed, sometimes they want security, and sometimes they want less liability. So instead of just arguing over the price tag, ask deep questions about their ultimate goal. Make your offer, solve their biggest headache. Lastly, reputation is your most valuable currency. When you become known in your industry as a ruthless executor who is also incredibly fair, massive opportunities will hunt you down. High emotional intelligence, strategic empathy and rock solid integrity create an undeniable force. When you build win win scenarios, the market hands you the keys. Bottom line, do not burn a bridge just to win a minor battle. Structure the deal so everyone eats and watch your network multiply. Because when you do, you will close deals faster than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex reminding you true power is making your partner successful. Negotiate with integrity, build the network and as always, keep leveling up. The episode centers on how collaborative, win-win deals pave the way for sustained wealth, strong relationships, and exponential opportunities—dispelling the myth that negotiation is all about crushing your counterpart.
