Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we are tackling the concept straight from the highest levels of tactical leadership. The Commander's Intent. Because let's be real, if you give your team a rigid checklist and the situation changes, they are going to freeze and fail. Let's break down how to empower your team to win no matter what the market does. First, realize that micromanagement breaks down in chaos. In my past career in law enforcement, I learned that you cannot script every single move in a dynamic situation. You have to establish the ultimate objective and trust the operators to figure out the rest. If you give an employee a script and the client asks a question that is not on the page, the deal dies. Whether it is a massive sales negotiation or a fulfillment crisis, your team needs the authority to adapt. If you demand blind obedience, you kill their critical thinking. Second, you must clearly define what a victory looks like. People do not execute flawlessly when they are confused about the end goal. So instead of telling them exactly how to write an email or format a document, tell them the exact feeling the client needs to have when the project is done. Make the ultimate outcome the only rule that matters. Lastly, true autonomy creates absolute magic. When your team fully understands the commander's intent, they will find faster, smarter and more efficient ways to get the job done than you ever could have planned. Radical empowerment, crystal clear vision and deep trust. Create an unstoppable force. When you point them at the target, they will hit the bull side. Bottom line, stop trying to control every single step of the journey and start focusing on the destination. Set the intent, trust your killers and let them execute. Because when you do, you will conquer the market better than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex reminding you a great leader defines the mission and gets out of the way. State the intent, back your team and as always, keep leveling up.
