the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we are talking about a transition that destroys weak founders. The death of the ego. Because let's be real, if you want to scale a massive organization, you have to be totally okay with no longer being the smartest person in the room. Let's break down how to hire absolute killers and step out of their way. First, realize that your pride is actively costing you millions. Too many founders are terrified of hiring top tier talent because they think it will make them look obsolete. It is the exact opposite. If you are the only one solving problems, you are just a highly paid employee. Whether you need a chief operating officer or a master media buyer, elite talent is the only vehicle that can take you to the next level. If you hold on to control, you kill the growth. Second, you have to pay for extreme competence. People do not build unshakable empires with bargain basement employees. They build them by finding operators who are experts in areas where the founder is weak. So instead of trying to learn every single software and strategy yourself, write the check. Make hiring people smarter than you your ultimate superpower. Lastly, when you empower giants, you become a legend. When your team executes a massive launch flawlessly without you even being in the office, you have officially won the game. High trust, massive delegation and zero ego create a self sustaining machine. When you drop the pride, the revenue multiplies. Bottom line, do not let your ego become the bottleneck of your own company. Hire the best, give them the tools and get out of the way. Because when you do, you will build an empire larger than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level Up Podcast, I'm Paul Alex reminding you True leadership is building a stage for others to shine Drop the ego, empower the team, and as always, keep leveling up.
