Welcome to the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we're tackling a hard truth about reaching your peak potential. Sometimes your environment is the bottleneck. Because, let's be real. If you are surrounded by the exact same triggers, routines and limitations, your mind is going to stay stuck on autopilot. And if you're on autopilot, you're not innovating. Let's break down how to hack your surroundings without running from your problems. First, realize that your zip code dictates your standard. Too many people think they could become a completely new visionary while sitting in the exact same room they've been in for 10 years. They can't. If you feel stagnant, your environment is likely reinforcing your comfort zone. Whether it's switching to a high energy co working space or literally packing your bags and moving to Puerto Rico. A geographical shock only works if you use the momentum to reinvent your daily habits. If you stay in the bubble, you kill your expansion. Second, curate the friction. People don't grow when everything is familiar. They grow when their brain is forced to process new inputs. So instead of just enduring a stale routine, deliberately put yourself in rooms where you feel like the smallest fish. Make the discomfort of a new environment force you to level up your game. Lastly, declutter your physical and mental space. When you physically move or upgrade your surroundings, you have the perfect excuse to leave bad habits behind. New routines and elevated networks and fresh energy create massive creative breakthroughs. When you change the scenery, you change the mindset. Bottom line, you can't plant an oak tree in a tiny pot and expect it to reach the sky. Upgrade your environment, embrace the new energy and let the growth happen. Because when you do, you'll expand faster than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex, reminding you your surroundings dictate your standards, put yourself in a room that challenges you, elevate your space, and as always, keep leveling up. In January of 1915, Ernest Shackleton's ship Endurance became encased in the ice in the Weddell Sea. Through determination, grit and savvy, Shackleton would lead his men through a brutal winter, then over hundreds of miles of Antarctic ice, followed by 800 miles across some of the roughest waters in the world. It is one of the most extraordinary and inspirational journeys in the history of exploration.
