Welcome to the Level up podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we are talking about a psychological block that drives founders insane. The illusion of control. Because let's be real. If you think you can micromanage the economy, your clients and every single variable in your business, you are going to burn out immediately. Let's break down how to release the grip and focus on what matters. First, understand that you only control your inputs, never the exact outputs. In my past career in law enforcement, we learned very quickly that you cannot script a chaotic environment. You can only control your training and your response. The business world is exactly the same. You can run the perfect ad campaign and still have a slow sales month because of a massive market shift. Whether it is a vendor issue or an algorithm change, stressing over external factors is useless. If you try to control the weather, you kill your peace of mind. Second, you have to become obsessed with your daily execution. People do not build unshakable confidence by hoping the market stays favorable. They build it by executing their standard operating procedures flawlessly, regardless of the conditions. So instead of staring at your analytics every five minutes, focus on making your 50 cold calls. Make your personal discipline the only metric you obsess over. Lastly, surrendering the outcome creates extreme clarity. When you accept that some things are just out of your hands, you the anxiety completely disappears. Relentless daily inputs, emotional detachment, and total focus on the mission. Create a truly stoic leader. When you let go of the illusion, you gain actual power. Bottom line, stop trying to force the universe to bend to your will. Control your work ethic. Execute the plan and let the chips fall. Because when you do, you will operate smoother than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex, reminding you that your daily habits are the only things you actually own. Master the inputs, ignore the noise, and as always, keep leveling up. Thanks for listening up to the Level podcast.
