the Level Up Podcast. I'm your host Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we are diving into the ultimate defense mechanism for high level founders. The Ironclad Calendar. Because let's be real, if you let anyone and everyone book time with you whenever they want, your days will be completely stolen by other people's priorities. Let's break down how to defend your deep work with extreme prejudice first, understand that an open door policy is a terrible idea for a CEO. Too many leaders think they need to be accessible every single minute to be supportive. They do not. If your team can interrupt you every time they hit a minor speed bump, you will never have the consecutive hours required to do high level strategy. Whether it is random zoom calls or constant slack messages. Friction destroys focus. If you do not build walls, you kill your output. Second, design your week. Before the week begins every Sunday night you should know exactly what you are working on every single day of the following week. No ambiguity, no last minute decisions. Your peak performance hours should be locked in in for deep work. Meetings should only exist in batched windows, never scattered throughout your day. People who plan, react. People who do not plan, just react. And if you are only reacting, you are already behind. Third, protect your calendar with the same energy you protect your revenue. If someone cannot respect a booked time block, they cannot respect your business. The ironclad calendar is not about being cold or or inaccessible. It is about being intentional with your most finite resource. Time you lose cannot be bought back at any price. When you defend your deep work, you compound your results every single quarter. Bottom line, your schedule is your strategy. Design it with purpose, defend it with conviction and watch your productivity skyrocket. Because when you do, you will accomplish more in one quarter than most people do in a year. Thanks for tuning in to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex, reminding you your calendar is your kingdom. Guard it like your life depends on it, because your business does. And as always, keep leveling up. Thanks for listening up to the Level up podcast.
