Welcome to the Level up podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. What's up everyone? Welcome back to the Level Up Podcast. I'm Paul Alex and today we are ending the most destructive race in the business world, the race to the bottom. Because let's be real. If your only competitive advantage is that you are the cheapest option in the market, you will only attract the most difficult clients who complain the most. Let's break down how to charge premium rates and actually get them. First, understand that cheap prices attract cheap headaches. Too many entrepreneurs think discounting their services is the only way to close a deal. They are completely wrong. When you drop your price, you drop your perceived value. And if a prospect is only shopping for a bargain, they are not your ideal client. Whether you are selling physical infrastructure to local businesses or high level digital strategy, elite buyers want the best, not the cheapest. If you constantly discount, you kill your own authority. Second, you have to entirely disconnect your price from your time. People do not pay thousands of dollars for a few hours of your week. They pay thousands of dollars for the speed and certainty of the result you deliver. So instead of justifying your hourly rate, focus completely on the massive financial pain you are solving for them. Make the return on investment so obvious that your price tag looks like a steal. Lastly, unapologetic confidence is your greatest sales tool. When you state your premium price without a single stutter and hold absolute silence, the prospect feels your certainty. Deep market knowledge, flawless execution and a premium client experience create a brand that cannot be price shopped. When you own your value, the market gladly pays it. Bottom line, competing on price is for amateurs. Compete on massive value, raise your standards and let the cheap leads go somewhere else. Because when you do, you will secure better margins than ever. Thanks for tuning in to the Level up podcast. I'm Paul Alex reminding you you are worth exactly what you have the courage to demand.
