Welcome to the Level up podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. Everybody wants to win until it takes longer than expected. And that's why most people quit when what's up everybody? It's Paul Alex, former detective turned entrepreneur. I've seen people start businesses with fire in their eyes, then fold when success didn't come fast enough. Today we're going to be talking about why entrepreneurs quit too soon and how to build that mental endurance to go the distance. Look, you can't go ahead and just chase excitement and not consistency. Starting is easy, but finishing is rare. When I launched my first business, I was excited for about two weeks. Then came the grind, the paperwork, the calls, and the silence. That's where most people check out. So if you're clocking in, thinking success will feel exciting every day, you're absolutely wrong. Success feels repetitive, boring and lonely before it looks glamorous. The trick is to fall in love with the work and not the rush. And look, you have to track progression. You cannot only chase perfection. I I've seen people quit when they're closer than they think. When I was growing my ATM company, I had months where nothing clicked, but I tracked every lead, every call, every small win. Looking back, I realized I was improving even when it didn't feel like it. But don't Measure yourself against others, guys. Measure against yesterday's you. Okay? And look, you can't forget why you started when things get tough, you. Your why keeps you alive. Look, mine was retiring my mother. Mine was freedom. Mine was being able to be a provider. I wanted to retire my parents, buy that home I dreamed of, and create generational change. That purpose pulled me through the hard days. So when you forget your why, the burnouts will win. You gotta reconnect with your why often, guys. So what is the key takeaway for this podcast today? Most people don't feel fail because they can't. They fail because they quit too soon. Success rewards endurance, not excitement, guys. And here's my challenge for you guys today. What's one goal you abandoned because progression felt too slow? I want you to revisit it. Do one thing this week to move forward. Okay? So that's how you flip doubt into confidence, guys. By showing up when nobody's watching. You don't need permission, you just need momentum. And as always, guys, keep keep leveling up. Thanks for listening up to the Level up podcast.
