Welcome to the Level up podcast. I'm your host, Paul Alex. I went from being a cop to an eight figure entrepreneur that helps average people like you and me make money every single day. I created this podcast to help you get motivated and to crush your goals. Let's win together. Remember, I have your six. Get ready to level up right now. As an entrepreneur, I often faced a lot of uncertainty, setbacks, and challenges that, to be honest, I. I did not know how to solve. But I adopted a mentality early on in my mid-20s that winning is the only option. And winning is the only option. Which isn't about dismissing the possibility of failure. It's about focusing, being relentless on success, no matter the obstacle. Guys, and I know every single one of you listening to this right now has been through obstacles, has been through trials, has been through roadblocks in life. You're trying to figure out in your life right now how to win. And I'm here to tell you how to win. This mindset starts with setting clear, ambitious goals. Look, when I first started in entrepreneurship, back when I was in law enforcement, as a beginner, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the scale of your dreams, especially when you got. I mean, I usually don't crush. But when you got motherfuckers hating on you, you got people just fucking talking shit behind your back. Some of your good friends want you to do good, but they don't want you to do better than them. And at the end of the day, I'm gonna be honest, I felt like shit. But look, you gotta remember this. Every big achievement starts with small, decisive actions. Key word, guys. You gotta be decisive. Winning means committing fully to those actions with a clear vision of where you wanna go. You gotta have clear vision and execute every single time. Now, let's talk about the strategy that's worked for me. Winning isn't just about hard work, all right? Everybody can work hard. It's about working smart. This means you got to prioritize your task, leverage resources, hire employees, and always staying a step ahead in your planning. You got to be a planner, guys. This is what's helped me in life get organized, and also helped me manage three multimillion dollar businesses. Think of it as playing chess. Each move is calculated, aiming not just to react to the market, but to shape it. I had the same strategy when I was in law enforcement. I was more proactive than reactive. But here's a crucial point. Winning is also about resilience. Because just like I did, you're going to face a lot of Setbacks, you might miss some targets, you might miss some quotas, you might encounter some financial hurdles, you might get broke. I mean, it's entrepreneurship, guys. There's a risk to it. But with winning is the only option mindset, each setback is a set up for a comeback. It's not about avoiding failure, it's about using it as fuel. And you, if you remember on my last podcast, I talk about using pain as fuel. So look, you got to be able to adapt in 2024 and beyond. The world of business is fast paced, guys. With everything that's going on, AI, digital marketing, you're probably going to get stuck with shiny object syndrome. You're going to be like, what should I do? Should I do digital atm? Should I do credit card machines? Should I do digital marketing? Should I do forex? Should I do consulting? What? I don't know how to win? You gotta stay focused. Winning entrepreneurs are those that who can pivot quickly, learning from what the market tells them and adjusting their strategies accordingly. It's not about being agile, guys. Learning fast and implementing even faster is key. Let's also talk about the importance of perseverance. Winning might be the only option, but it's rarely an immediate outcome. It requires persistence, the kind that pushes you to keep going when things get tough. Remember, the greater obstacle, the sweeter the victory. And lastly, guys, I'm gonna leave you with this. As you embark on your entrepreneurship journey, cultivate a support network. Your best friends that have the same mindset as you. Find a community. I always say this on every single podcast. Find a community. Self educate yourself. Find a mentor that you can relate to. Surround yourself with multiple mentors, advisors and peers who share your mindset. They will be your sounding board, your cheerleaders, and sometimes your reality check. Keep learning. Invest in your personal and professional growth. Attend workshops. Listen to podcasts just like this. Read books. I know it sounds cliche, but never start expanding your knowledge. And the more you know, the better equipped you're going to be to win. So look, I want you to remember this, that while winning is the goal, the path there is defined by your daily choices and actions. So you gotta embrace the journey, embrace challenges, learn from your mistakes and keep pushing forward. Because in entrepreneurship, when you choose to see winning as the only option, you open the door to unlimited possibilities. I'll see you at the top. Thanks for listening up to the Level up podcast.
