Mikaela Seffler

Mikaela Seffler
I am a woman of power because of my brand. My brand is. Is a. Is a brand of luxury essential oil, and my book is a spiritual book. And Rudy has been great. He's been teaching all of us how to. To plow through the business and get our brand through, and he's been fabulous.
Ray Gutierrez
Amazing. Let's talk about your brand.
Sam
Where.
Ray Gutierrez
Where does your intergalactic journey begin?
Mikaela Seffler
Well, it started about. Well, I guess it started a long time ago, but it really, really, really started about 15 years ago when I started grasping. I was a poet. I was publishing some spiritual poetry. My poetry started to be, I mean, was about nature, metaphysical aspects of nature, the beauty of creation. But I needed something more. I needed something more for myself to fill the gap. And, you know, I had some friends that, you know, told me about essential oils. And I really. It really actually inspired me to help me. It helped me at bath time, it helped me at sleep time, and I decided to. I need a lot of oil. So I kind of, you know, they said, why don't you brand it? I mean, you keep on buying so much. It's so expensive. I mean, one bottle is like, you know, $40 or something. So I decided to buy like a hundred bottles. And that was my first time. And I think the first time we just had a very plain label called. At that time, it was called Zafir, and so on and so on. And the more I ordered, the better I felt. I felt that it really did something for me, and I wanted to share that with other people.
Ray Gutierrez
Why did you need to rely on these essential oils? Where did the pain come from? What was your why?
Mikaela Seffler
Oh, yeah. So I do have occasional migraines, which really disturbing. So that was helpful. And I find it. I love the aroma, the scent, it was wonderful. And I use it on my skin, and it helped me at my bath time. And it was just through aromatherapy. The beginning of the brand started through luxury aromatherapy diffusers. And we had beautiful marble diffusers, and I brought them to all these different hotels and stuff, and that was great. I mean, I really love the concept of the luxury diffuser. And of course, we started branding the actual oils. Our first oil was peppermint, and then rose, like it was single oils. And I got a really good response. I felt good about sharing it. You know, I always give them to my friends and neighbors, and I loved it.
Ray Gutierrez
That's amazing.
Mikaela Seffler
Yeah.
Ray Gutierrez
What was the first journey? Not excuse. Not the first journey, but I guess the first journey that you inspired a transformative client of client that went from dark to light or light to dark, using your products.
Mikaela Seffler
Oh, it was. It was mostly neighbors who.
Ray Gutierrez
So you were that cool neighbor.
Mikaela Seffler
Yeah, it was neighbor. And you know what? When I talk to somebody, when I go down, I remember I was living in building an apartment, I go down to the laundry room.
Ray Gutierrez
Sure.
Mikaela Seffler
And, you know, we start talking. I always felt really good about having something to talk about and giving them something very cool.
Ray Gutierrez
Smoking Like a true gypsy. Hell, yeah.
Mikaela Seffler
Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah.
Ray Gutierrez
Right on. Yeah. My. Speaking of gypsies, some of my favorite encounters. If you listen to this podcast a lot, especially the ones I'm hosting, I talk about the spiritual journeys that I'm on and the spiritual downloads, and I enjoy the. The. The hustle of a gypsy. Especially after a good night of, like, partying or going to a good club or seeing a good DJ blow your mind for six hours, and you spring the doors open after you're done and the sun hits you, Bam. There's nothing nicer than seeing, like, a sweet gypsy that looks like a. A mermaid octopus hand you like a token, go, wow.
Mikaela Seffler
Oh, you made it.
Ray Gutierrez
And you're just, like, sold like, that is her funnel. And she'll hustle you something.
Mikaela Seffler
And I'll tell you something else. I'll tell you something else talking about that. But gypsy, I started getting to tarot, you know, with my poetry, and I started creating tarot decks.
Ray Gutierrez
Sure.
Mikaela Seffler
It all goes, you know, with the theme.
Ray Gutierrez
Of course.
Mikaela Seffler
Yeah.
Ray Gutierrez
How often do you read your tarot cards and what's your philosophy on tarot?
Mikaela Seffler
So back then, it was. I used to read them all the time. It was. And I had a few decks, and it was just mostly for inspiration. And that's when the visual stuff that, you know, that I started putting on the oils and we'll talk about it a little bit later, I started getting just. I started believing that looking at the card, just looking at it can inspire your day. And I like the fact that there's all different cards, like a deck of 40 or, you know, and it has, you know, a lot of them is nature, but sometimes, you know, it's. It's the priests or. And that's a lot. That's what I put in my book. I decided that people should have that, you know, to have that visual grasp and that visual pull, you know, it's much better than just, you know, reading it.
Ray Gutierrez
Let's talk about how you deliver your spiritual information. Music, poetry, artistry. Where do you want to start?
Mikaela Seffler
So it started with poetry, and then I went into music and started learning music, and I started converting the poetry into music.
Ray Gutierrez
Right on.
Mikaela Seffler
And then I started being a little bit independent and trying to write just a lyric of a song. But I still revert back to my poems because my poems were so rich with, you know, with that, you know, nature and spiritual stuff that I just. I take a line or two and I build around it. So, yeah.
Ray Gutierrez
Let's talk about your book. Where does this book come from? What inspired it? What can people learn from this book?
Mikaela Seffler
So this book is a compilation of new age poetry that draws on nature, draws on creation, you know, like, and draws a little bit about. On human nature, you know, nobility. I kind of like, you know, you know, writing about heroes. I put it together many, many years, and I kind of really put it together. Re. Put it together about six months ago, and I republished it. And I'm really happy with it because I put the photos and the images in, so it kind of. It helps the narrative kind of.
Ray Gutierrez
Oh, right on. I was just gonna say who were the. Who were you when you wrote it and who are you now when you read it?
Mikaela Seffler
Okay. So when I wrote it, I was just trying to get down the inspiration that comes to me. You know, sometimes, you know, you kind of. You, You. You're somewhere. Sometimes I just sit at home. I used to sit at home. I just used to pour and I just used to write it.
Sam
Sure.
Mikaela Seffler
But, you know, sometimes you have an idea and something touches you and you write a few words and then you. You build around it. But most of the poems were written, you know, a while ago, and recently I decided to re edit them because I'll tell you the truth, when I wrote them a long time ago, I. And I reread them today, I thought that they needed a little bit of clarification, so I. I've amped them up. I tried to do them a little bit better, and I think that I'm. I think I did a good job. I'm pretty happy with it.
Ray Gutierrez
Amazing. We literally just filmed your.
Sam
Your. Your.
Ray Gutierrez
Your episode for Women in Power.
Mikaela Seffler
Oh, yeah. That was great.
Ray Gutierrez
How do you feel?
Mikaela Seffler
I feel fantastic. I'm so happy. I'm so happy that finally I got to convey and express and explain everything that I've been doing and get it out there in the world. That's. It's fabulous.
Ray Gutierrez
You did great. I got to add something. I was going to ask you this on the actual interview. I'm sorry, the recording session, but I was like, if we get to the podcast, I want to ask it here. You were a little late because time zones.
Mikaela Seffler
Oh, yeah. So. Oh, my God.
Sam
Oh, no.
Ray Gutierrez
No reason. Let me set this up for you.
Mikaela Seffler
Okay.
Ray Gutierrez

Mikaela Seffler
You.
Ray Gutierrez
You were aligned at a different time. And I was challenged to meet you at this time and you were challenged to meet me here and to test our spiritual strength. We reached a center, and here we are.
Mikaela Seffler
Yeah, that's fabulous. For a second, I got scared when Sandra called me. I said, oh, my God, don't tell me. And I'm leaving tomorrow. I'm flying out. But no, we're together.
Sam
Yeah. East coast.
Mikaela Seffler
We made it happen.
Ray Gutierrez
I'm really happy we made the time. And I looked at the time like, well, let me navigate these obstacles. And we did the interview. We got some photos in, and we got your podcast.
Mikaela Seffler
Yeah, it's fabulous.
Ray Gutierrez
Now let's. Let's wrap this up because I want you to rush. We're gonna rush you out to the pool party.
