Not only are they a woman in power, but they're also a legacy maker. So they're a powerful legacy woman maker. I don't know, we'll figure that out later. Today we're going to learn about my life trajectory of how I went from the shy, timid little girl to the strong, powerful woman that I am today.

Where does that strong leading with fire come from?
A
From being eager to do something out of life. I have a famous quote that I go and I love that is if you it's not your fault if you are born poor, but it is your fault if you die poor.

Latina woman, coming from very humble Background. I was born and raised in Ecuador, didn't have a lot of money. My parents were very poor to the point that we had to come to the United States for a better living. I have great gratitude, a great appreciation for the opportunities that this country has to offer and I never wanted to take that opportunity away. I didn't want to be another statistics in this country. I didn't want to be another Latina as a housekeeper. As skinny houses very proudly of my parents. They both worked really hard to give me the best they could. My mom worked on the laundromat. My dad used to wash dishes at a restaurant. But they did the best they could with what they have with the resources they have now. I needed to do something else with all that information, with all the resources that it was provided to me. And I needed to make a change. And I knew that if I work hard I feel I, I knew my self worth if I, you know, I started my own business at the age of 22 because I knew that was the only way to become successful. I did not want to work a 9 to 5 job. I didn't want anybody telling me my self worth. Yeah, I didn't want to tell me people hey you're worth X, Y and Z for a month per hour. No, I wanted to tell that to myself how much I was worth.

I was going to say absolutely. When did you realize the moment you switched off and on when you went from surviving to thriving?
A
When I wasn't happy with the woman I was becoming. I was stuck in a dead end job working as an administrator making minimum wage. I realized there was more to life. I realized that there was a lot more opportunities and I needed to make a change. And the change was for me to go in sales division of my company. I let go of my comfort zone. I was no longer behind the desk answering phones. I put myself in a position where of taking it was a huge risk but it was also a great comfort zone breaker. It was commission only. Oh yeah, it was scary times but I was not afraid of the hard work.

It's, it's funny how Latinos are so good at the guff at salespeople. We're always my. I don't speak to my mother anymore but she was always a good salesperson. You know she always. And she can always sell you the shit off your back. And it's because of that survival instinct. Talk about, you know, being designed a little different and being having that superpower because you in sales you have to embody the person that you're essentially selling to. As Latinos, we understand that we have to be chameleons. We always have to be thriving. We always have to be always constantly moving, saying yes to everything, especially your content creators, literally on the floor filming content that I would give him the job over. The guy that can tell me, oh, this land. Will you get on the ground and give me a cool angle? Just so my person that's feeding me and putting money on my table looks good, right? Yeah. That's why I work for Rudy Moore. There's a way of doing things and there's a way and I can only understand that as a Latino and, and, and, and a lot of folks that understand that fire. Are you communicating that? Are you sharing that knowledge with other folks that need to understand why fire is important?

Yeah, absolutely. Inside my business, I constantly talk about self growth, self development, and you can always be the best version of yourself. There's no one stopping you but yourself. It's all about the choices that you make today. The choices that you make today is what's going to determine your future tomorrow.

So always make the right choices and don't be afraid to take risk.

Also, let's talk about the people you surround yourself with, your tribe. It's also very important because that's the kinetic energy that you're always surrounding yourself with. Who is your tribe? Who do you surround yourself with?
A
I said all the time I'm allergic to energy people. I can be around energy people. I move away, I go out of the room, I go somewhere else. My family is my number one supporter. I'm best when I'm with my kids, my family, my system and the people that work with me. Those are the ones that we constantly bouncing ideas or how to make the company better, how to grow, you know, as a team. So I love surrounding with my team.

Rewind to when you know you're an au pair, you're cleaning, you're hustling yourself. Did you always know in your heart that you were going to be sitting in this chair and beyond, that you were going to be an entrepreneur, that you were going to lead with power?
A
The minute I started believing in myself, but it was not always like that, of course not. Coming to this country, I was bullying high school.

Oh, yeah.
A
It took a huge toll on me to the point that my confidence was to the ground. I no longer believed in myself. I no longer believed that I deserve to be in this country because of the constantly people telling me, you don't belong here. You don't even Speak good English, go back to your country. And that gave me a belief that maybe they are right. Maybe I don't belong in this country, Maybe I'm not worth anything. But the minute I started believing in myself and, and I said, no, I am the strong, powerful woman, I started visioning who that strong, powerful woman was. And for me at that time, I want to become a cfo, I want to become an accountant. I wanted to have the nice house, the nice cars. But I also knew that in order for me to become that person, I needed to take massive action. Because vision with no action is just daydreaming.

Absolutely.

You have to take that action. Nowadays, Instagram made it so popular, the vision board, and I see it all the time. But then what actions are you taking? Yes, this is a beautiful vision board. I love it. They decorate it very nicely. But what are you doing on a daily basis to get you to be that strong, powerful woman? And the actions that I took and the choices that I made is why I am here today.

It's a beautiful philosophy because that philosophy rings true to the designs of social media. It goes beyond just what you're posting. Anyone can have a really pretty profile.

Yes.

What are the comments like? What's the engagement? Are the comments quality comments? Are these even real people? Is it AI like you grab that formula and apply it to your day to day life. It's like you will ascend. It's quite simple. It's the way I, I personally believe is the human nature. What is your daily affirmations? You wake up in the morning, do you jump in an ice bath, do you write journal? What is you wake up, what's the first thing you do?

For the last couple of years, my business, I run a couple of businesses, are very established and one of my rewards for myself are my slow mornings. Those are non negotiable for me. For years I grab breakfast on the go on the train station, driving or sometimes I skip breakfast. But once I'm in position to be able to relax and, and feel the gratitude for everything that I have accomplished, my mornings are totally different than what it was 10 years ago. The first thing I do, I meditate. I set up a certain section in my room for my meditation area. I go to my gym, I do my Pilates, I come back, start with my quiet coffee with my breakfast and then my day starts. Yep, now I'm ready to take on the world. Because I'm working on myself first. You cannot pour out from an empty cup. You have to work on yourself first. In order for you to help others.

Absolutely agree. And, and for folks that are going, oh, all the fufu stuff, I'm like, no, my friends speaking to them when the worst drives. This stuff is real.

It is real.

And yes, it sounds catchy or catch sketchy, but it's not. You'll be surprised, you know, once you start doing those daily affirmations. I started doing out of necessity because I did not like the woman that I was becoming. I took a course at that time was 20 years ago. It was called LifeSpring. I don't know if they're still around anymore.

Sure they are.

And they helped me with my confidence, they helped me with my self esteem. And one of the things they taught me is to write three words of the person I want to become. And every morning I will have to recite all that.

Oh yeah.
A
And my words were, I am strong, powerful woman. I am a strong, powerful woman. I will wake up and go in the front, be in front of the mirror and I will repeat those three words. I am strong, powerful woman. Strong, powerful woman. And eventually it's something I started feeling in it.

Yeah, yeah.

But again, it had to be backed up with the actions that I was taking daily.
D
Yeah, yeah. And just to give you a little bit of science of what I think just happened, the affirmation is. Just because we're speaking and we can understand what we're saying doesn't mean we're actually speaking a language. We're just making noises. Her soul is resonating her desire into the world. And the universe is going, grabbing that data and then evaporating it into the universe. And the more she says it, the more the universe goes. Oh, yes. And this, wherever she's standing, the universe is going. There's energy over here. Let's direct the positivity this way. So when she goes to work, the green lights will go a little faster, she'll find that parking spot a little sooner, someone will be a little nicer to you, and this will just happen overnight. And then you'll start to stack. And then you'll realize you can compress time and go, whoa, I just did what takes a person three days and three hours. How did I do that? Because you meditated and you changed the way you breathe.

And then when you start aligning, things start to get crazy. And that's when you step in because you got to coach people that are figuring out the code now. They're just Misaligned. How do you realign them and make them part of your tribe?
A
So in my business, it's all about, you know, sales and marketing. So that's one of the toughest things to do.

Oh, no question.

So one of the first thing is learning how to take rejections. That's huge when you're in sales because rejection is part of the business. And let them understand that. They're not telling you no. They are telling the product no. Or maybe they're not understanding what you're selling. Don't take rejections personal. No, no. And one of the things. And this is for all my strong women out there, I feel we are very emotional compared to the guys. That's one of the things that we have that we need to get better at. We cannot things. Things personally. And I learned that the hard way. When one guy when I was doing. When I was in the field doing sales, he was having a bad day and he told me, you effing speak. Get the effing out of my store.

Couldn't believe what I just heard. I was shocked. I came outside, I started crying. I called my husband and I said, I'm not doing this. This guy bought me memories from high school.

Wow.

When people used to bully me. I don't want to do that no more. And my husband's advice was, that guy is probably having a bad day tonight at dinner table. He's not even going to remember you. But he is going to change your whole life if you give up today.

Yep. The devil comes in many ways.

Yes.

Yeah. The negative.
A
That's when I realized you're right. I'm letting somebody that I just met for two seconds determine my future.

Yeah. Yeah.

That's not happening.

It's very real.

I shook off, I went grab a self of water and I kept going. On my day.

You have to.
A
And that's what I teach the guys. Be able to take rejections and no. It's just a no. And make rejections part of your life. Because not just in the business, in also in personal life. I tell my kids all the time, work your love averages. Ask the girl out.

She's gonna get rejected.
A
Get the next one. Get rejected. Get excited about the nosy. Yes.

I remember 8th grade, my personality showed up and the girl started looking at me weird. I'm like, hi, how are you? Like, like, yeah. And just confidence just came out of Nowhere. My life changed.

It was just like caring about it.

I never shut off the class ever. But I'm doing okay. At least I graduated. Talk about, you know, when you are aligned, there's spiritual warfare. You see them, they see you. You speak of this gentleman, you walk into the his reality. The negative energy knows, hey, we have someone that's aligned. Attack. Attack. We can't make them feel like the one. They can't rise. So you're going to get a lot of these weird cosmic forces trying to push you back. The nos are going to go up, the rejections might go up, but you're going to realize, no problem. What made me suffer a year ago now is just like that was my Tuesday morning. Yes, can I get another coffee, please? That's just the way it works.

Talk about some lives that you've transformed. Is there a specific person, a specific woman that you've really, you know, help ascend?
A
That's the most proud I am in running my marketing business because not only I change my trajectory, I help others along the way. When I started the business, I was told by the vice president of the company that the company was going into a different direction. And they signed up a huge client and I needed to bring a different profile of people. Now my business was in the middle of Manhattan, the capital of the world, the melting pot. He asked me to bring my five top guys. And at the end of the meeting, he told me, if you want to have access to this client, you need to let go of everyone except the Caucasian guy. The message was loud and clear, the message that I wasn't willing to hear. I was devastated because I felt like the company that I fell in love with, the company that gave me the opportunity because I come from nothing. The only thing I have is my work habits, my skills to work hard, my determination, my mindset. And for them. And I was helping others do the same thing. And for them to tell me to get rid of the people that I was coaching and they were on their way to be successful, it didn't sit right with me. And the guy that they told me to get rid of, he was at that time, he was 17 years old. Now he's still with me, earning a 7 income figure.

Can we talk about how important it is for. This is a fantastic story. I'm 42 now. I feel like I should have been sitting here at 32. And I can only blame myself this ain't even about blame. It's important for men to have a maternal entrepreneur or a maternal mentor. The two M's. I didn't grow up with my my mom, but I grew up with my grandmother. A different 16, I was four. Beautiful lifestyle, I was very blessed. But the necessities of having a mom and dad weren't quite there. So I went a different route. I find it now that even my mentors are all women because I'm seeking that maternal thing that I never got way back when. And once I find that maternal confidence, like when I speak to women, I find it more comforting than speaking to a man. I speak to a man, it's video games and fun. When I speak to a woman. No, it's serious. It's respect. Because this is power. You are the birth of life. You are a woman, you have it in your womb. So there is a sense of respect here, especially as Latinos, how important it is for you not to just go and speak to women, but also men that are seeking guidance. Because this 17 year old soul could have been anywhere else if you weren't the person that goes, no, you're on the path. You just don't get it because it's a different noise, but it's your noise. How do you change the frequency for folks to hear?

By showing up every day and showing them with examples like, hey, you might not like me because I'm a woman, but you're going to respect me for the results I'm bringing to the table. That's all I want from you.

Simple. Simple as that.

And it happened to be that this person, because of his nationality, didn't have the respect for the girls, for the woman. And for me it's okay, you don't have to like me, but you're going to respect me for what I'm about to show you.

Absolutely. And that's what. And I feel like you're thriving, but there's still a little bit of survival in there, but it's more instinctual now. It's not like you're clamoring for the attention, just like, no. And I still feel very much the same way where I am today. How can folks learn more about you? What's your, what's your social media?

So I'm new to social media. I know I'm like 30 years late. But hey, it's better to start now than never to start. So I built my business and mainly on word of mouth. Yes, I never needed to go myself in social media. But now, you know, as my bread and butter, which is all Choice and Prodigy Energy are in the autopilot, they're doing great. I am expanding to other business ventures. Yeah, I started my own health and wellness business. So now I need to get myself out there and this is my first step.
