Emma Vigeland (0:00)
You are listening to a free version of the Majority Report. Support this show@jointhemajorityreport.com and get an extra hour of content daily. It is Thursday, March 27, 2025. My name is Emma Vigeland in for Sam Cedar and this is the five time award winning Majority Report. We are broadcasting live steps from the industrially ravaged Gowanus Canal in the heartland of America, downtown Brooklyn, usa. On the program today, Noah Colwyn will be with us to talk about protesting for Palestine under Trump. And later in the show, Domingo Garcia will be with us to discuss the mass demonstration against Trump's immigration policies happening in Dallas, Texas this weekend. Also on the show, Mike Waltz is shaping up to be the fall guy for Signal Gate as Trump publicly backs Hegseth but cools on his national security advisor. Maybe it's because of things like, well, I mean, this applies to Hexith too, but Walt's Venmo being public and his mutuals including Brian Kilmeade and Fox, MSNBC and CNN producers, which is interesting. But the German news site Der Spiegel also found the private emails, passwords and phone numbers of Hegseth Waltz and Tulsi Gabbard online. Some Senate Republicans are starting to get a little queasy about this. Murkowski leads the charge there. Honestly, she should caucus with the Democrats. That little flip. Or I think maybe she's worried a little bit about a Democrat beating her. And I think she's up in 28. Although we've been down this road before. Kristi Noem stages a photo op in front of caged, shirtless prisoners in El Salvador using them as human props. And this is as wallpaper. Yeah, it's. We'll show that later. This is as Trump moves to block certain colleges from enrolling foreign students who they claim are pro Hamas. And a Turkish Tufts student is disappeared by six plainclothes individuals claiming to be immigration. But her lawyer does say she was transferred to Louisiana. We'll get to that soon. An appeals court upholds an order barring Trump's efforts to illegally freeze appropriated funds. But they're still trying. Yesterday, Trump slashed $12 billion in grants to states studying mental health service and infectious disease. And in related news, RFK Jr says HHS will cut 10,000 employees. When put together with the previous resignations, that makes up a fourth of their workforce. They have also killed dozens of studies seeking new vaccines and treatments for Covid and future pathogens. Trump announces a 25% tariff on auto imports. The UAW supports it, but it may violate Trump's own trade deal with Mexico and Canada that he signed five years ago in Wisconsin, Musk, he announces he's giving a million dollars to a voter as he aggressively spends to defeat the Democrat in the state Supreme Court race. And lastly, Israel's renewed attacks on Gaza have killed hundreds, including a Hamas spokesperson. All this and more on today's Majority Report. Welcome to the show, everybody. It's in that Majority Report Thursday. Hello to Matt, hello to producer, not introduced yet. We're still like milking that here. All right. Well, mystery also not in the room right now.
