Senior bowl practice has just wrapped up. Three great days here in Mobile, Alabama. I'm excited for tonight. We've got some storytelling. We've got some risers. We got players who absolutely dominated this week. We've got some first rounders who decided to practice the entire week. And you know what else we got? We had 84 days until the NFL draft and a crew behind us packing up while we're still here working. Mensch, you good?
Matt Miller
I'm great, man. I'm great.
Daniel Jeremiah
Tucker, roll that beat. What do you say, Mensch?
Matt Miller
What's going on?
Daniel Jeremiah
Let's give the people what they want. A little mensch.
Matt Miller
I want story time. That's what men wants.
Daniel Jeremiah
It's been a fun week at the Senior Bowl. Not like the most heralded week. Not the best. Best quarterback group. You know, last year I think there was a lot more hoopla with Jackson Dart, Jalen Milroe, the two national championship quarterbacks, Riley Leonard and Will Howard. Warmer but cold at night. Just down there grinding. I mentioned I are down there on the field. Thank you to Drew Fabianic, to Molly, to everyone at the Senior bowl for the access that we had, which is basically unparalleled and really critical to what we're doing here in the show and also for our scouting. Yeah, a lot of really good position groups, a lot of good wide receivers, a lot of good defensive linemen and a bunch of other guys that we want to talk about tonight as we wrap things up. I want to remind people I've told you all week we are getting ready to make the transition to Netflix on Monday. Check out cha13ugoodmensch. Today the first, I mean the first takeaway honestly is we're out of practice and Colton Hood from Tennessee couldn't participate. But he's still in town.
Matt Miller
First rounder didn't leave.
Daniel Jeremiah
Lee Hunter, first rounder, maybe the best performer of anyone in the entire game all week long. And the combined talent and performance didn't leave. Still here you get those three defense, defensive lineman, the edges that have had really good weeks. TJ Parker from Clemson, Zion Young, Missouri, your guy from Michigan, Derrick Moore. Derrick Moore, all here, all grinding it out today. Malachi Fields talk to a lot of I talked to a lot of scouts directors today. The Thursday's a little bit more chill on the sidelines. So you get down there, you can actually have some good conversations and interesting to I'll share some of that information as much as I can today on the show as well. But that was the first takeaway is like all these dudes are still here, man. They made a commitment and they're still here. And that's exciting to see because that hasn't always been Mike Green had a great two practices. See you later. Last year. Shemar Stewart had like a practice, I think.
Matt Miller
Yep. See ya.
Daniel Jeremiah
Agent pulls them and that happens every year. So it was good to see the top guys still here competing on Thursday in Mobile. Yeah, those Caleb Banks was here as well. Didn't have the best day. We'll get into all of it. But he was here and had some moments and still was out there grinding. So that's kind of the positive and the takeaway. I do want to share some story time. You know when you think story time in this show. Yeah, you think mensch and his, you know, his beard and kind of a pipe, and I could see him in a smoking jacket and all that.
Matt Miller
It's my turn, Tucker.
Daniel Jeremiah
But one of the interesting parts of talking to scouts who have been on the road, who do all the backgrounds and all of that, I got pointed in the direction of two guys today, and I just jotted down, quick note. Tyron Montgomery, John Carroll. Wrote down, check out hoop's background. Something about lsu. I didn't know John Carroll, Tyrone Montgomery very well. Coming into this game, we were given a heads up by Drew Fabianic, the senior. The executive director of the Senior bowl, but had not done his tape, didn't know a whole lot about him. And there's a reason for that. Get this story. You ready? Montgomery was a star basketball player growing up in high school in Woodland, Texas. Had every intention of playing college basketball. In fact, went to lsu, walked on the basketball team, was ready to roll. Covid hits his mom, falls ill. He goes back home. Okay, Woodland, Texas. So now he's home. It's Covid. You can't, like, there's no. No groups getting together and there's no, you know, playing basketball with a bunch of guys down the park. We're all shut down, right? But his brother's a quarterback. His brother Cam Montgomery is a quarterback. And at the time, he was at North Greenville. Marissa's gonna get mad at me. She's a Greenville woman. North Greenville University, just outside of Greenville. And he's a quarterback there. As I said, he needs someone to play catch with. So his brother Tyron is catching for him every day. And his brother's like, gotta run some routes for me, you know? And he's like, he's gotten so good after this period of time, he turns to him. I guess the quote was like, bro, you gotta do this thing. So, like, fast forward a little bit. They get some tape out there. I don't know. He goes to John Carroll University, which is up in Ohio. This is a Texas kid who went to LSU to walk on the basketball team. Covid hits a couple Years later, in 24 years. Three. Three and a half years later, winds up at. John Carroll had never played organized football in his life until his junior year. Junior year, 2024. That's a season ago.
Matt Miller
It's wild.
Daniel Jeremiah
Has a pretty solid season in 2024, but, like, literally is learning how to play football. Has a really good season this past year and the Senior Bowl. Like scouts, I always tell everyone, if you can play, scouts will find you. They found him. He's here in Mobile. And this dude top Five receiver here. And at moments like, honest to God, like, maybe was the most consistent and best wide receiver at the Senior bowl, especially the first two days.
Matt Miller
Yeah. I mean, some haters. This is the. It's haters season, baby. Some haters are going to come out and say, he dropped a couple balls today. And he did. He dropped a couple balls. He had an outrageous Senior Bowl. For a guy with that limited experience, coming from that level of competition to go and do. Do what he did this week, this is like, I know it's cheating.
Daniel Jeremiah
Care.
Matt Miller
This is what's great about the Senior bowl is these kids who come from these programs and can just improve their draft stock astronomically. Because, yeah, guys had seen them and they're like, yeah, this John Carroll kid looks pretty good, but we'll see. And then they come out here and ball out.
Daniel Jeremiah
It's awesome. I don't think there's a chance Tyron Montgomery gets out of the fifth round. He played that well.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
And you're looking at a player who, wait, it's been a year and a half. It's been two years of him playing football. Can he, you know, can he keep rising? Tyler.
Matt Miller
Tyler texted me today and said, can we get Tyrone Montgomery in a Patriots uniform? I'm like, dude, how do you already know about this kid? He's like, he's been following along. And my son Tyler was like, want this kid in a Patriots uniform.
Daniel Jeremiah
I mean, I think there's a lot of NFL fans all over the national market, you know, in different markets that are that, like, saw what he could do. Here's the deal. Don't think that this is some, like, oh, what a. What a good story. If he was a Texas receiver, an LSU receiver, if he was from Michigan, Ohio State, like, the story would have been how well he played. This is not about John Carroll. It's kind of cool that it's Sean Carroll. The story makes it cooler. But this guy, doesn't matter what helmet he was wearing this week. This is about. He was one of the best players here all week long. It's an awesome story. Just kept.
Matt Miller
I kept thinking again. I kept thinking he was a big school kid every time I watched him, and nope.
Daniel Jeremiah
All right, last story for me again. This is from me talking to a director today who is like. And we're just in conversation about a bunch of different players. And he was talking about the Arizona State offense, tackle Max Iheanacho. Iheanachor.
Matt Miller
We'll get it.
Daniel Jeremiah
I just did. You did Max Iheanachor. Honestly, the Pronunciation. Pronunciation got on the way over was a problem because some. Some say it's Iheanachor. Some say it's Ihonachor. I think it's Ihonachor. We'll find out.
Matt Miller
I think you're right.
Daniel Jeremiah
At the end of the day, Ihonachor is an awesome story. And I'm talking to this director who was like, man, have you seen the way he moves? Like, there's something about his basketball background. Like, you know the story. And I actually did know that he was late to football.
Matt Miller
Right.
Daniel Jeremiah
Here's what I didn't know. Follow along here. Iheanachor moves. His family moves from Nigeria to America at the age of 13 years old, comes to America. He plays a lot of soccer over in Nigeria and decided to play basketball more. I think he had been introduced to it, but decides to play. He's not playing organized soccer, but he was a soccer player and continued to do some of that. But he played organized basketball. Basketball. He's a big dude. Obviously. He's 656055. So six, five and five, eight of an inch almost. You know, six, five and a half, 325 pounds is what he is now at the Senior Bowl. But back then he was like in the 290s playing high school basketball. And so good that he was on the AAU team. And so it was all basketball for him. That was his sport. Okay, then. In high school. Yeah, in high school. So the AAU coach and I want to make sure I mentioned his name. That's why I paused. Sorry. Corey Desanti was his AAU coach in basketball. And Corey Desanti said, man, like, you're a good basketball player, but look at your frame. Like, look in the mirror. You could play football at a really high level. So the basketball coach at AAU gets him in touch with, like, some people in football, and then they try to, like, try to get him some. Some exposure. Some exposure. Right. He winds up getting. He never played high school football, though. He goes to East LA Community College. That's where Desanti got him. A connection at East LA Community College to go play football. Goes there. Shows some promise. The Fresno State offensive line coach. I hope I wrote it down right. Fresno State offensive line coach. I actually didn't. Sega was Sega Tuatelli to a telly.
Matt Miller
Yep.
Daniel Jeremiah
He's the Fresno State offensive line coach at the time. Starts a relationship with Iheanacho Ihonachor. I know this is a rough segment before the story is great. And then he winds up Kenny Dillingham in Arizona State winds up hiring him to be the offensive line coach at Arizona State. So because of that relationship that he developed with this, this offensive tackle who didn't really know what he was doing, never played high school football one year at community college in east la, he says, why don't we give him a shot? I've been recruiting this guy at Fresno. I think there's something there. Dillingham and the offensive line coach give him a shot. He comes in and pretty early, like 2023, he was forced into the weeds. Didn't like had one year and had to play in six games, start five game because they had a rash of injuries and he winds up hanging in there. It wasn't all pretty. I'm excited to go back and I want to watch that tape, as you said in the car, see where he was in 2023 to where he is now. Starts all 14 games at the right tackle. Starts to get a hang of it in 2024, 2025, he's on every scouting list and like, you know, all American watch list because he's that talented and we watch him here and I would argue he was the best offensive tackle in the entire game all week, even though there was some up and down. Yes. But from a talent standpoint and what he showed in terms of his ability, I'm not saying he's a first rounder. There's no chance he gets out of the top 50 picks. I'm like, bank that right now.
Matt Miller
I hear you. I mean, the way he moves at 335 pounds with 34 and a half inch arms is different. The two things that I really liked about him, he was up and down. I mean, today the over setting thing showed up again. You can't jump outside that far and get beat to the inside. He said hi. The first thing he did every time was find the offensive line coach and say, what'd you see? What did I do? He's like, this is a kid that wants to get better. So you've got a talented kid that wants to get better. Hasn't been at it long, so you know, it kind of understandable some of these technique issues. And the other thing, he does not take shit from anyone. Yeah, he was as physical as any of the other offensive linemen here, which I really liked because you can be that big, graceful, athletic offensive tackle. But are you willing to maul? And he is. He's a tough kid.
Daniel Jeremiah
Always trade back. Good to have you back, brother. I know you had a busy week, but we're good to have you here. Jeff Benzos, Jeremy Godden, our man. A lot of the usuals and the regulars are here tonight. We appreciate it. We know it's, you know, it's a work week. It's different from our Saturday night show. But we've had a lot of support throughout the week and thrilled to have everyone going on the chat. Let's keep it rolling. We got a lot to get to tonight. I just love those two stories, though.
Matt Miller
Amazing.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah.
Matt Miller
What's great about football, the journeys that these guys take.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yes.
Matt Miller
Everyone's path is different.
Daniel Jeremiah
I do want to we kind of walked away from the quarterbacks last night and I think appropriately so after probably giving them a little bit too much attention, but wanted to introduce everyone to the quarterbacks. I want to get your I want to get to Garrett Nussmeier in a minute. But of the other quarterbacks, anyone who stood out to you? Now that we've wrapped up all three practices and today I should share this. I find Thursday, even though it's not maybe as physical and, but I mean, some of, especially the first practice, the national was a little bit more physical, I felt, but it's still a physical practice. Everyone's in pads and everyone's going through it, but there's a lot more precision and condensed areas. Red zone, two minute drill. I feel like you can kind of gleam some things that you don't necessarily gleam from the first two days for the quarterbacks, and that's always been the case. And I think we saw some things specifically with some of these quarterbacks in that condensed area in the red zone that that stood out positively and or negatively. So what jumped out to you, whether it's this week a progression today, specifically about the quarterbacks before, I mean, that's a great lead.
Matt Miller
And I think that when you looked at Illinois's Luke Altmire, the way he was in the red zone, it showcased what his strengths are, which is he understands how to read coverage, he understands where his reads are and he can get the ball out of his hands quickly. He had a couple throwaways, but you could hear the quarterback coaches yelling, good job. Good job. Because he understands if it's not there, I'm only going to get into trouble if I don't have an ability to run and there's no one there. I'm going to get rid of the ball now because only bad things will happen if I don't. I thought he was really good. I had to look this up because I was telling you about how Clutch. He was. And I looked it up before we got into this. He, he as a three year starter had seven games that he won in the last minute or overtime at Illinois. I think when you look at him, you're not blown away by the physical ability, but when you see him today, you see him here this week, he's been here for like a day and he's killing plays, he's getting guys lined up. He looks to be in control of the offense, he looks to be in control of the huddle. I'm not sure he'll ever be a starter in the NFL, but if you're looking for a guy who's going to be a really good backup, I think Luke Almer, you could do worse. Now Taylor Greene, I want to get in this really quick too. I'm just going to jump it from Arkansas, who is unbelievably talented. What you saw today was the red zone kind of exposed one of his weaknesses or revealed one of his weaknesses, which is he's a slower processor, so he's holding on to the ball a little bit longer. He's kind of scrambling. It's not as clean in the red zone and you can see it, but overall, when you look at the body of work from the three days, I thought Taylor Green had a really good week. I think he helped himself. He's got an intriguing skill set. Then he comes here. It doesn't. I never felt like he was swimming in it. I never felt like he was overwhelmed. And I thought he got a little bit better each day and see that.
Daniel Jeremiah
Run, see the run. He just took off.
Matt Miller
It's unbelievable.
Daniel Jeremiah
He got a, he, he got better. Yeah, he got better each day. He took to coaching well. He. There was no point in time where I watched him as a pastor was like, ugh, you know what I mean? Like he's got no chance or like. Because there were times last year watching Jalen Milroe where I swear to you, I was like, I don't know, like he's so off.
Matt Miller
I remember sitting in this convention center on the last day and thinking what just happened with Jalen Milro? Like, it. I really felt like not, not to get into hyperbole. I felt like it couldn't have gone worse for him.
Daniel Jeremiah
And so to watch Taylor come in and not as decorated and, and, but, but. And obviously a lot bigger, longer, but didn't have the career at Alabama. People knew about him at Arkansas, but it wasn't the same deal. There's not a lot of like fanfare, but for Scouts, it's like, I'm interested. Six' Six, he's 230. He's got big hands. He's mobile. And the thing that I like about it is you saw that one clip taken off and running. I, maybe I could count on one hand how many times he did something that was about his mobility.
Matt Miller
Yeah, he didn't. I think that's a great point. He wasn't here just to show you what he does well. Right.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah.
Matt Miller
He really bought into, I'm gonna try and show them what I can do as a pass. I mean, I had not even thought about that. But that, that is true. I didn't. This was not a lot of running around and making play.
Daniel Jeremiah
So Saturday, Saturday, now you've got to, you got to contend with somebody who's, who's kind of has learned the system and feels comfortable and has gotten better each day. And then he goes and takes off and runs. It's like an oh, shit moment. Like, you know, because that guy, he.
Matt Miller
Didn'T do that on Tuesday.
Daniel Jeremiah
It's, it's chunk yardage that he picks up. The other thing I'll say about the process, passing, it's not a he can't or that's not a strength of his. No, but it's important when you're a mobile quarterback and you can get yourself out of trouble. And that's why NFL teams love mobility at the quarterback position now more than ever, especially for young quarterbacks, because you don't have all the answers. And so when you come into the league, having that mobility gets you out. You're gonna, you're gonna get it right. I don't know, 40, 50 to percent of the time. Whereas, like, you know, when you get to Breeze, Manning, Brady, that level, you're like 95 or whatever. 90, 90 plus, whatever it is.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
And so early in your career having that mobility. But the, the reverse of that. Okay, is in high school, he was always the best, best athlete on the field, no matter who they were playing and what, what position you're talking about. In college, he was almost always the same thing. So it's kind of like a defensive lineman who's 320 pounds and just barrels over people his whole life. When you get to the NFL and you got to learn how to now channel all those abilities to play a refined game. And that's where Talen's going to be early in his career. But after watching him this week, honestly, like coming in, I don't like his tape is just all over the board. His decision making just like puts the ball in harm's way. So often his accuracy is not at nearly where it needs to be in the NFL. I get he's a great athlete, but I just. I don't know. And I come here and I'm like, there's something there.
Matt Miller
I agree.
Daniel Jeremiah
And in a quarterback class that's not that strong. And we all know that Fernando Mendoza is gonna be the number one overall pick to the Las Vegas Raiders. Right. And then we know Ty Simpson. What Tucker psyched? Yeah. Ty Simpson is. I don't like how Tucker's not in my view, the combine. Tucker's got to be my view, you get all the. You get what's going on. Yeah, I know Ty Simpson is probably going to be somewhere later in the first watch out for the Rams at 11 just. And then it's kind of this competition at QB 3, 4, 5. And you're going to hear a lot about Garrett Nussmeier, who we'll get to a minute two. In a minute, you'll hear something about car it back.
Matt Miller
Trinidad Chambliss.
Daniel Jeremiah
Trinidad Chambliss. If he's in this draft class, we're still in like this limbo, this limbo area. Because of his lawsuit against the state of Mississippi against the NCAA filed in the state of Mississippi. Taylor Green helped himself this week. And I. And it'll be interesting to see where teams land on him. And I think the interview process and getting know him and getting, hey, if we work with this guy, is he able? You know, that's going to be kind of important as we follow along and talk to people in the league that we're close with.
Matt Miller
And does he run? We've seen a lot of these fast quarterbacks not run, which has been interesting to me. You know, Jalen Milroe didn't run at the combine.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah. I don't think Lamar Jackson, Tyler Schuck did. Yeah, he did.
Matt Miller
But it will be interesting to see if he takes advantage of that opportunity to show what he can do there.
Daniel Jeremiah
I'll say one thing about Cole Payton, who we talked a lot about earlier in this week. I was talking to an NFL personnel guy, let's call it. He kind of. Everyone's in agreement. He had a really good week this week. Right. He came in, he's the small school guy. How's he gonna perform? Is it too big for him? Kind of didn't. Wasn't phased. Ripping the ball pretty good around the pocket.
Matt Miller
Pretty good.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah. The thing he said, he goes go back because I haven't watched a ton of tape on him. I got just enough done to have a feel for who he is. He said, go, go get his cut up reel of him running like short yardage, red zone. Like just watch his runs. He's like, that son of a gun is so damn powerful and tough. He's like, I'm telling you, someone smart in the league will draft up that guy late, bring him in and find a way to utilize him. Whether it's you know, a tush push situation type thing, but like a little bit more, whether it's wildcat or goal line. Early in his career, he's almost like, I'm not saying he's Tebow, but like how Tebow was so effective in that inverted veer. Inverted veer that he ran and Cam Newton and again, he's not that big. I know those guys are different but, but just to hear a personnel guy say, if you're creative with this young man, there's some stuff there and then you kind of develop them on the back end. Garrett Nuss Meyer is the story at quarterback. And we didn't get a lot to it, a lot into it yesterday. We did more so on Tuesday he got better each day. I do think it's important to not bury the lead with Nuss right. Banged up, injury, wasn't able to throw even just or like wasn't full go and green. Didn't have the green light to even throw or come here and perform until just like a couple weeks ago. And so, and as he said, it was a really good interview that he did. He's like, I got into a lot of bad habits and it's not like I had to retrain myself to throw, but I had to retrain myself like reps wise to throw the right way utilizing core, lower body, hip rotation. Like I legitimately had to go out and like because he was, he was, he was compensating. You could see I told you that Ole Miss tape was tragic. And there were games this year where it's like he, he's flinging, he's not using the same mechanics, ball's not jumping off his hand. So to see him here this week, and I thought he looked pretty good on the first day. Second day I thought he looked really good. Today I thought he was in really the last two days. So clearly the best quarterback. But it's not because of his size, it's not because of his elite arm, it's not because of his mobility, it's the way he, his feel for the game.
Matt Miller
We Talked about it because again, we had tremendous field access. We're standing right behind him. We're seeing what he's seeing. And I said to you a couple times, I was like, man, I never would have seen that. I just. And he was getting through it, finding guys about to get hit, letting go of the ball. It blew me away. That was my biggest takeaway from him is I thought he saw the field well anyways. But I was, I was impressed.
Daniel Jeremiah
I mean, everyone wants to see a quarterback go with McVay, right? Like Mike McDaniel would be an interesting scheme for him. You know, I think that there are some systems.
Matt Miller
Stefanik.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yep.
Matt Miller
Not sure yet.
Daniel Jeremiah
Kevin Stefanski. Sorry.
Matt Miller
Yep.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah, there are some systems, some teams with offensive systems that will fit him better. And I think for those teams it's going to be interesting because he was considered by most people in the league as a first rounder coming in the year. I don't think he's that. I think he's a second rounder. And I think this week. And I'm not here to grade off of rounds, I'm here to grade. Like, what can he be? When you draft a quarterback on day two, especially the second round, you're drafting him with the hopes he becomes a starter. But Worst case is going to be a really good backup for you for a long time and there's not this rush to start him right away.
Matt Miller
That's.
Daniel Jeremiah
That was Tyler Schuck last year, right. Pick 40 overall and it worked out beautifully for the Saints. But there were quite his age and the durability stuff and hasn't for as long as he played ball. Like how many great starts has he had against top company? Like there were a lot of question marks. So you don't take that guy in round one necessarily. Even though he was like elite 11 with. With Trevor Lawrence and he was like one of the guys and the talent's there. So I think Nussmeyer is probably looking at a second round departure from the board.
Matt Miller
I think that's fair.
Daniel Jeremiah
I think worst case it would be third. But in this quarterback class with Dante Moore coming back and Arch obviously going back and Lenora Sellers going back, there's just not a lot of depth to QB this year. And so I think there's. There's going to be some teams that are ready to pull the trigger maybe a little bit earlier. And I'm not saying that that was. That will be why Nussmeier goes out early, but this is a big week for him because I think everyone forgets because he didn't show any signs of injury. What he is coming off of and the season he came off of at LSU and the disappointment. I talked to several scouts who were really excited and I haven't, I've tried to follow up. I'll get some answers like they wanted answers. Just like they wanted some answers from the Penn State players and the Clemson players. They wanted it like they're not, they know it wasn't all hitting Usmeyer's fault. But what happened? What was the injury like, how severe was it? When did it start? How'd this team get lost? You know.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
And so that'll be interesting to see how that plays out. But I was blown away by his instincts for the game, the way he sees the field. He is not, you know, like athletically you look at him, you're kind of like duck toed and like. But like honestly you look at him, you're like, that's, that's, that doesn't look like an NFL athlete per se, but there's mostly guy. I mean Patrick Mahomes. You look at him now, he doesn't look, you know, right. But you see him out there operating his craft and he does it at such a high level. There's. I gain an appreciation for the way he plays the game and clearly he's been around ball his whole life with his father playing in the NFL and offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for a large portion of his pro career. All right, I'm sure everyone's already screaming about stop talking about quarterbacks. Not really. I like everyone on. We got this chat going now. Yeah, we're rocking and rolling. All right, let's go. Anyone else you got on the quarterbacks?
Matt Miller
I think I'm good there.

Matt Miller
I know.
Daniel Jeremiah
You always are. All right, standouts. I do want to mention these guys off the top. Okay. And I also want to mention having a blast with the newsletter this week. It's the McShay Report. If you aren't subscribed already, please Google it. Subscribe. That's the easiest way to get it. My poor man Dan. Like, I think he goes to bed at like six in the morning every night. Been grinding. We're all working hard, but we, you know, dinner's over, call it a night. He's back there somewhere.
Matt Miller
No idea.
Daniel Jeremiah
But he, he works all night on this thing, pulling up together. We send videos throughout the day of practice. We got all these gifts. We got, we got. Michael and, and Nick are doing an awesome job with all of our video. Like, we're, we're compiling all of this stuff for these shows, of course, and for the rest of the show, Tucker does needed. Tucker's the favorite of everyone in the chat. But yes, Tucker's riding when we all leave here. Tucker stays and makes sure everyone gets everything that they want. And it looks as beautiful as he can make. These two clowns. So my point is, the newsletter's got a lot of detailed stuff in it and we spent a lot of time today after the first practice talking about a few guys. But I can't do this show without mentioning the fact that it's the. It's not Lois and Clark. It's the Lewis and Clark Clark show.
Matt Miller
Right?
Daniel Jeremiah
Like, honest to God, there are not two players at the Senior bowl who made more money than Lewis and Clark.
Matt Miller
Right?
Daniel Jeremiah
And when I, when I look at Kyle Lewis at the Pittsburgh linebacker, at that linebacker spot, and I look at Bud Clark, the TCU safety, honestly, the first thing that jumps out is they're just so instinctive. Every single drill, quarter count earlier than everybody else. Know where their eyes should be. Like you talked at nauseam yesterday about. About Lewis and I talked ad nauseam about Clark. Then they come out today. I'm literally talking to a director.
Matt Miller
They were better today. They were better today than they were yesterday. They were like, watch this.
Daniel Jeremiah
I'm talking to a director and we're good. It's like the Lewis and Clark show. Back and forth about these two guys, their interviews. They killed it.
Matt Miller
It.
Daniel Jeremiah
They did everything right this week. And as we're talking, Lewis goes up, interception. Clark three minutes later, interception. And team like. It was pretty wild to see guys that just. Yeah. There's a lot more information that I provide in the, in the newsletter. A lot of quotes and different things to break it down and kind of contextualize what they did this week. But those two stood out. And then another guy, Bryson Eason.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
Tennessee defensive. Remember Omar Norman Lott Last year I was bullish on Norman Lott. Had to have him in the top 100. He snuck in. Thankfully he was here last year. Yeah, here last year. And I just, I saw something in him and I know Mench has seen something in this Easton guy and I saw yesterday a little bit more and even more so today. And the people I'm talking to in the league, league interviews, off the charts, loves ball. Six year player there apparently got better every year. There's just a lot of good things about, about Eason. And like I said, the interviews were those three guys, Lewis, Clark and Eason. Everyone I talked to, those guys just killed it because they love ball. They like, they, they live it.
Matt Miller
Yeah, I was fired up to hear about the, the interview for, for Easton because I think he's been really good this week.
Daniel Jeremiah
He's always one technique. He's quick off the ball, he's powerful. He's not the biggest guy. And you can move him a little bit if you get into him.
Matt Miller
Yeah, but he's long and he can get off blocks. I really like him. He had a couple really good pass rushes today. I want to say this quickly about Kyle Lewis is what they were breaking down to one on ones today. You're down with the. You were in the trenches, you were checking out the big guys. I was watching running backs versus linebackers. Kyle Lewis goes up against Adam Randle, the running back from Clemson, who's a former wide receiver in a pretty good route runner and has a great rep. Just stays in his back pocket. And then all of a sudden I hear all the Guys, the receivers and tight ends are down in the red zone. And I hear all this barking back forth. I'm like, oh, I gotta go check that out. As I'm walking down to the receivers, Kyle Lewis runs by me with the defensive back coach trailing him, screaming about the pick six.
Daniel Jeremiah
So I don't even know what Kyle.
Matt Miller
Lewis did, but I know he got somebody. I know he jumped somebody and made a play. But that's how it was today. It seemed like you looked down.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah.
Matt Miller
And it was like, who was that?
Daniel Jeremiah
That was Bud Clark.
Matt Miller
Oh, that was. That was Kyle Lewis. Like one thing after another. Kyle Lewis had a big hit that separated the receiver from the ball. Completely clean. It was just boom, boom, boom. It seemed like There was a 10 minute stretch of practice where they were trying to one up each other. Was that crazy?
Daniel Jeremiah
And we kind of knew about Lewis coming in, if we're going to be honest. But I feel like Clark, I told you yesterday, I'm watching drills the first day and he and this coach have like this rapport and he's pushing Clark, the defensive back coach, he's pushing Clark a little bit more than the other guys because he fit like he sees something in him and he's responding. And coaches like they love when you're a sponge. And then I see some of the movement skills, I see the range and I was like this, like this guy can play. And then he got better every day. I think those are two guys that don't get out of the second day of the draft.
Matt Miller
Truly, they'll be on our 50. They'll be on our 50 best players.
Daniel Jeremiah
When we come out with our 50 best football players, regardless of the measurables, the character, the durability and all that.
Matt Miller
Other stuff, mark it down, that's happening.
Daniel Jeremiah
These are two of the best football players and they clearly stood out as like two of the five, six, seven best football players. Players here.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
Pretty wild, pretty good. I love this stuff, man. All right, give me two other guys that you thought were standouts.
Matt Miller
I'm gonna go with an interior offensive lineman.
Daniel Jeremiah
Perfect. That's great.
Matt Miller
Kansas State, you know, the, the middle of America, the heartland of America. The like smaller center.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah.
Matt Miller
Sam Hecht, 297 pounds, which isn't that small, by the way. I kept hearing about how small Sam Hecht was. I'm like 297 pounds. That's a decent size for a center. But 32 inch arms, which is not ideal. That is shorter. What's he doing? He just, he's so technically sound and competitive and moves well and that's really what you need, man. He's not going to blow you away with all these pancakes power and all this athletic ability. But what he's going to do, he's going to get set, he's going to get his hands inside, he's going to move his feet and he's going to stay in front of you in pass protection and he's going to do the same damn thing in the run game. And he did it consistently over and over and over over the last three days. And there was times. Yes, again, haters. I'm sure you're going to point out some reps that he didn't win. Overall. Sam Hecht had a great week and I came in thinking I didn't really love this center class. And I don't know, listen, I don't know where he's going to get drafted right now, but I will tell you this. I could see him developing into a starting center early on in his career.
Daniel Jeremiah
Who else you up?
Matt Miller
I'm gonna go with Gabiakis on the other side with the, on the national team, the Illinois edge. Another guy with shorter arms doesn't really fit the mold of what you're looking for in the edge. A little shorter, you know, some shorter arms. But I'll tell you about that, tell you this about him. 11 sacks this year, 8 sacks the year before.
Daniel Jeremiah
He's got more power in his hands.
Matt Miller
Here's the thing I love about him is, is the hands. It's hands and effort. Yeah, hands and effort and tracking the quarterback. Another thing that I think is underrated.
Daniel Jeremiah
About, about pass rushers.
Matt Miller
They. He is watching these quarterbacks. So he knows how to. When a quarterback starts to step up, he knows how to work inside. He's coordinated in that way. The quarterback tries to come back outside, he's going to work back outside and the motor to match that. Yeah, not just that I can do this, but I'm going to keep working. You go. If I go inside. I saw it today with Nussmeier. He went inside of one snap. Nussmander went back, went outside of him, and instead of like trying to fight back around, he worked back across the tackle's face and got outside effort, hands, power. He's in a kind of an underrated edge. I think right now, this edge class.
Daniel Jeremiah
If you're subscribing to the McShay report, thank you. If not, let's go. I did a. I did a breakdown last night because I feel like as the Senior bowl progresses, I Did this for wide receivers and edge for. For the newsletter. Her last night. You start to. Even though a lot of these guys maybe aren't here, but then now you start. It's like a jigsaw puzzle, right. You start to put pieces like, oh, yeah, he belongs in this tier. Right. So I was going through the edges last night. Top 15, potentially top 15 picks, I think are David Bailey, Texas Tech, Bane. Had some really good conversations about Bane and Mesador today. The Miami guys. Yeah. Just love, love them.
Matt Miller
And eating lunches.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah. Some offensive tackles that were here, they just ate their lunch. Then after that, I think it's. Keldrick Faulk is your big, physical, long. One of the youngest prospects in the class, coming out of Auburn and has tools. And then you get Cassius Howell, who exploded on the scene this year for Texas A and M underside, but just like a menace as a pass rusher. And then you've got our Mason Thomas, who I think is one of the most underrated prospects in the country. I can't wait for him to get healthy, work out of the combine. Don't care what he does. You want to talk about guys in the top 50 list, he's there and it might not be past like 15. Our Mason Thomas is an absolute dude. TJ Parker, now, watching him this week, two other guys that were here this week, Derek Moore, I think was probably the most consistent of all these guys. And I think you would agree. We talked about that. Zion Young, the Flashes are so brilliant that he's an absolute lunatic. Like, from the way he fires out of his stance to the way he gets into guys, pads to the motor, to the effort. He just plays the game with, like, what I would as a general manager. I yearn for that as a pass rusher, the way he plays. Right, right. So you got all those guys, but that doesn't even include Gabe Yakis, you know.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
From Illinois. And there are some other guys.
Matt Miller
Overton who didn't. Had a little bit of a disappointing season, didn't really pop here, but he's got some good tape. He's an intriguing skill set.
Daniel Jeremiah
So, yeah, I mean, there's just. There's a lot of guys.
Matt Miller
Tavius Hutchins from Boston College flashed a.
Daniel Jeremiah
Little bit this year. He did. And he's. And he. He will back down to nobody. But as I said, I think there were nine guys, if you included Jalen Walker last year, which we all did. Nine edges that were drafted in the first two round. I think six in the third. Those. That's three Four, five, six, seven. That's nine right there. All those guys belong in the first two rounds.
Matt Miller
All of them. Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
So this year's class, while it's not as there's no Abdul Carter, but David Bailey's nothing to sneeze at, you know, the depth is. Is similar and we're seeing it continue to kind of grow. And I'll be interested to see when we get to the combine and the workouts how that goes. So that was intriguing. So those are your standouts. I got two guys that, that stood out today and parts of yesterday and I feel like I didn't get to talk about either of them. I don't want to say that they were the best players today or they had these monster days, but they deserve some love because there's some. There's some intriguing traits that I saw. One of them I don't even think we talked about, but the first one we did and that's. That's Tanner Koziel, tight end from Houston. I actually our guy Pete Sousa show. I told you down, down in the Big 12 in the PRE. In the early in the season, he wanted me to come on Inside the Big 12. Inside the Big 12. Yeah. On HBO. So shout out to Seuss doing a phenomenal job covering basketball games, football games, espn, all of it. So we played in college with him. I should probably give you some backdrop.
Matt Miller
We worked with them too.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah, we worked with them too. And but Kozial, I was kind of introduced to him because he asked me, he's like, you know, who are the Big 12 prospects? And so I was talking to some people and Kozyol was one. That's very intriguing. But he hadn't been in the Big 12. He was coming into the Big 12. Kozial is, is a monster six, six and a half, but only 245 pounds. Still growing into that frame, these long 34 plus inch arms. Right. And you can see today I saw him utilize that going up and head topping a guy. I don't know if we have that clip or not, but we do.
Matt Miller
We have that clip.
Daniel Jeremiah
You and. Yeah, because you and Tucker are best friends and you get to look at them during the show and I don't. But cozy all goes up and head tops a guy and we saw some of that throughout the week. Here we go. Yep, that's one where you catch and go into the end zone. But there was a lot of plays that he made throughout the week and today specifically, who was, who was the throw? Who made the throw? Was it Was it Sawyer Robert? It might, it might have been. Go. There it is. Was it Cole Payton? Cole Payton made the throw and I'm standing behind Cole Payton and the ball goes up and I'm like, he threw it away.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
You know, and all of a sudden this six, six and a half guy with 34, it goes and elevates. You just saw the catch on the show. It was pretty cool to watch because this is a guy that spent three years at Ball State and was really productive there, but like, not really on the national radar. 163 catches though, for over 1500 yards and 18 touchdowns during the three years at Ball State. Then he transfers to Wisconsin in the spring of 2025. I don't know the story. We'll find out. But then somehow winds up at Houston and has a monster year for Houston and winds up at the Senior bowl with all these other really good tight ends. So it's cool to watch him. And it's also cool to know there's a lot more in the tank for this guy. And I think we're. You, this is your class.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
It's tight end group.
Matt Miller
You're like, it's the golden era of tight end.
Daniel Jeremiah
It's a golden age of tight end. We get it.
Matt Miller
You, you are taking as many as you possibly can at this point, though.
Daniel Jeremiah
Well, I've got to stake some claim because we all know that, that Roush is the best oatmeal eating tight end in the business.
Matt Miller
Had a great block and goal line today.
Daniel Jeremiah
Did he drop a pass this week?
Matt Miller
I don't know. I mean, I don't want to. Let's not pretend that he's. Did you see him drop those expectations on him? I didn't see him drop a pass.
Daniel Jeremiah
Now he runs a little funny. I do like that about him.
Matt Miller
So weird. I'm going to talk about another Titan in a minute.
Daniel Jeremiah
Who's your other guy though?
Matt Miller
D. I know who's the guy we.
Daniel Jeremiah
Didn'T talk about but we got it on, on, on cozy all and we'll. I do think at some point if.
Matt Miller
He fills out that frame, he's a little lean, right? I know but the frame like the frame is there. He can put on weight.
Daniel Jeremiah
Here's another guy that we haven't talked about all week long. But I, I, I, I jotted down notes throughout the week and then I was watching him closely today.
Matt Miller
The build up. Let's go.
Daniel Jeremiah
Cyrus Allen from Cincinnati.
Matt Miller
Oh.
Daniel Jeremiah
I'm not saying he's Tank Dell, but there were some things with his Release. Remember Tank Dell coming out of Houston, had that monster rookie year. CJ. CJ's like, go to Guy. Stroud's go to Guy. Honestly, he hasn't been the same CJ Stroud since Tank Dell got hurt. Yeah. Got injured. And I'm not saying that's why. I'm just saying I saw a little bit of that in him. I don't know. Tank Dell was a burner on top of.
Matt Miller
I don't love Tank Dell.
Daniel Jeremiah
Oh, my gosh, I love Tank. I love slot receivers. I love Nichols, but this guy's another one. And I talked yesterday about. About a few slots. We got Missouri, we got. We got lsu. We got. What was the. There was another one. Small. Really? Oh, no, no. South Alabama all day. Five. Yeah.
Matt Miller
Every time he makes a play, I get this.
Daniel Jeremiah
And I mean, it was not five stars for anyone who follows the show. It was not five stars. It was 65 catch.
Matt Miller
It was like. It got a little annoying.
Daniel Jeremiah
It didn't get a little annoying. It got a little like. Like, not.
Matt Miller
Not him. Him making plays was great.
Daniel Jeremiah
V. Yes. I was looking, but. But he is absolutely at 597, 182 pounds. Vosen is a slot. And Barry and Brown at 5:10. Just under 5'11, 176 pounds is a slot. The Missouri guy, Kevin Coleman, 5'10, 174 pounds slot. So in this class where we have all these big receivers. Right. And I talked about what we did last night on the newsletter. In the newsletter, I broke down some of the tiers there for the wide receivers. Carnell Tate, bigger receiver. Makai Lemon, not. But he can be kind of a Z and he can do a little bit of everything. Jordan Tyson, bigger physical receiver. Denzel Boston, big dude.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
Classic X. Casey Concepcion is a slot.
Matt Miller
Yep.
Daniel Jeremiah
But he's going to be in the first, if not his top 40 pick. Chris Brazil, the second CB2. My guy from Tennessee, he's a bigger X. Malachi Fields. We've talked a lot about him. He's been the best receiver, one of the best players. Sorry. As I'm spitting. I get so excited. Malachi Fields had a monster week this week. And I think, honestly, I'd be shocked if he gets out of the top 50. Shocked, maybe. Maybe, like creeping around the late first round. He's that good. But then you got some of these slots who I think are going to be in day two, like Antonio Williams, Jeremy Bernard, Zachariah Branch, Deion Burks. Then there's going to be this other tier. All Those guys. By the way, we're talking the first two rounds, right? Tate Lemon, Tyson, Boston. Remember in August we said we're not sure about this receiver class. Boy, were we wrong. The quarterbacks are awesome. They sucked. The receivers, they're awesome. Concepcion, Brazel, Fields, Williams, Bernard Bell from Louisville, Branch Burks. And then we got a whole host of guys that now we're talking third, fourth, fifth. Right.
Matt Miller
With intriguing skill sets.
Daniel Jeremiah
So back to Cyrus Allen. 5' 11, 180 pounds. I watched him and interestingly enough, Tank Dell was at Houston right before he transferred to. I mean, he was at Louisiana Tech before he transferred to Houston. Yeah, well, Cyrus Allen transferred from Louisiana Tech where he had 68 catches in two seasons. Freshman, sophomore, junior year, went to Texas A and m, only had 18 catches. Didn't work out there. Transfers again. He's the modern day athlete. Nil transfer, portal gets to Cincinnati, has 51, 61 catches. 51 or 61? 51 for 674 and 13 touchdowns this year. Get it? If you get a chance, watch this guy's quickness. It's off the line that get quick release and then it's. And then in and out of break, setting it up. You know, there's something there. Now, yes, he's a slot. Yes, he's not that big. I'm not saying he's gonna be, but he's got a chance to be an impact player in the league. And I wanted to mention his name because he did a lot of really good things. And then he had today this catch in the end zone where he goes up and it's like, you know, like them.
Matt Miller
You like all small receivers?
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah, I like big ones too, I guess.
Matt Miller
I guess.
Daniel Jeremiah
All right. Last thing. Nudge guy mentions nudge guys. It's become my favorite segment. And there's so many different ways you can nudge. You can nudge like. Who's that coming off the bus? You can nudge like. Did you see that blanket? Is this guy better than we thought? You can nudge like. See something here? Just give me your nudge guy.
Matt Miller
I'm going with Justin Jolly, NC State tight end. I think we could have talked about him as a nudge guy coming off the bus after.
Daniel Jeremiah
After. What's his measurables? He is. What are his measurables?
Matt Miller
He is 6, 3, 251 pounds. I actually thought he was gonna be lighter. 251 pounds, I think is a good number for him with 10 and a half inch arm, 10 and a half inch ants and 33 and 18 inch arms I hadn't seen a lot of. I shouldn't say that. I'd watched him and seen him in a couple of snaps here and there and then I'm watching him today in the red zone and he's got a. He's got a rep against the Penn State safety Wheatley and talk about getting off the ball. Talk about getting off the line and winning with your release. Tight ends just aren't twitchy. Like they just don't have that, that. That ability to shake guys in short areas. He does. I mean, he got open so fast. It was. I mean, it was just one of those things. I'm not used to seeing a human being that big be able to move like that. When you look at his stats this year, he was. It was kind of a more of a down year. 10 yards per catch, but two years ago he had 15 yards per catch. He can run. He's a guy that can make plays after the catch he can get. He can make plays down the seam. He's someone I think is going to be probably more productive in the pros than he was in college. And he was. He had pretty good numbers in college.
Daniel Jeremiah
I like. Yeah, this class is good.
Matt Miller
It's golden era of tight ends, I think. I think Jolly's so good that you'll be calling him your guy in two weeks.
Daniel Jeremiah
No Tucker like that. Maybe I don't want Tucker behind the camera. You saw Sean Manion, right? Everyone's talking on the chat was, you may not know Sean Manion with the Eagles. Oh, okay. I remember scouting Sean Manion, man, he couldn't move, but he could throw the ball. He could sling it. New OC total pivot here.
Matt Miller
Yo, what's going on right now?
Daniel Jeremiah
I don't know, but it's fascinating to me, like, not what I'm speaks for who. For the Philadelphia Eagles.
Matt Miller
Okay.
Daniel Jeremiah
And you think about where they were offensive this past year and you're like, I don't know. I don't know where I want to go with this, but it is fascinating. And I had heard it when we were on the practice field today, but now I'm competed at Oregon State.
Matt Miller
Right?
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Big arm, big. Like he didn't like his tape, But he's only spent two years in the NFL. He joined the packers coaching staff as well. Offensive assistant in 2024. Promoted a quarterback coach this past season. Fascinating. I know. Sorry.
Matt Miller
Never know what to do when you curveball me.
Daniel Jeremiah
I know, I know. But like, I don't know.
Matt Miller
I don't have any understanding what kind of office.
Daniel Jeremiah
They must see something. Yeah. This. They must see something that.
Matt Miller
What's the connection? Yeah. I don't know.
Daniel Jeremiah
I don't know. I just wanted to bring it up. All right.
Matt Miller
I'd love to get a true Eagles fan reaction to that.
Daniel Jeremiah
I do. I can't imagine they're thrilled. When you think about some of the names that have been talked about.
Matt Miller
Right.
Daniel Jeremiah
And like established, creative. Right. Yeah. And that doesn't mean he's not going to do a great job. Very, very clearly like how he's not. How he's no dummy. How like and. And people saw. Some people saw in Howie what the rest of the league. He's not a football guys. This one will be kind of like I said with Sean Payton. I was like he took a second round quarterback in the first, didn't need to do it. Well this year he took a third round running back in the second and a fourth round wide receiver in the third. And we love those picks.
Matt Miller
And they went to the FC championship game.
Daniel Jeremiah
But it was all in on Bo Nix this one. I mean, very different situation. But this feels like maybe I know something the rest of the league doesn't and I'm gonna get out ahead on this guy before he becomes something, you know, I don't know. It's fascinating. All right, moving on, my nudge guy. I got three. Baron Brown is another slot receiver that I just. And I know I mentioned him yesterday, but my gosh, he just keeps. Did you see the back shoulder him and Nussmeier? I put it on McShade 13. Check it out on X and threads McShay 13. The timing obviously between those two they have a built it but his how quick he's been in and out of breaks. I feel like those LSU receivers were very disappointing this year. The LSU offense was disappointing. They didn't have a run game they couldn't protect. So like yeah, it was.
Matt Miller
There was never rhythm to it.
Daniel Jeremiah
So it's good to see a player come out of that where it's like, yo, I can still burn.
Matt Miller
Right?
Daniel Jeremiah
And he was. After the first day, he was the fastest player the entire senior Senior bowl on the miles per hour on the zebra technology. Well after two days today they put up the overall board and he's not the biggest guy. So normally those. The smaller guys aren't the.
Matt Miller
Oh, he's a smaller receiver.
Daniel Jeremiah
Yeah, he's a slot receiver. I just mentioned. Okay. Those guys like you want me to list all the slot receivers.
Matt Miller
I think you already did.
Daniel Jeremiah
I mean did you like a Monroe? Is he, is he okay for you? Barry? And Brown's the guy. I'm telling you, watching him this week, I think as much as I like the Cincinnati Kid, I think that this guy's got a chance to be a real surprise. And I just told you all those names in this wide receiver group. There are some actual like NFL number three, number four guys that I think are going to wind up coming off the board in like the fourth, fifth round. I think this is going to be like the biggest surprise coming into the scouting year prior to the season is going to be how deep and how talented this wide receiver group is. And Barry and Brown's another one to keep in mind. Two other guys and I actually didn't. The second guy on my nudge list. We kind of had a nudge today watching him in RB drills, the running back drills, and we haven't talked about him a lot, but I do feel like he's gotten a lot of exposure in the weeks leading up to, and, and during this week. Mike Washington from Arkansas, he's, he's got sweet feet for a big back. Second fastest miles per hour of every player. That's corners, that's receivers, that and, and he's not just a, a back. He's six foot and a half, 228 pounds. Those long 34 inch arms that he utilized a couple times catching the ball in contested situations. This week, he's a guy that I.
Matt Miller
Expected power and I expected speed. I didn't expect the feet to be that good. Yeah, the feet are good.
Daniel Jeremiah
Quicker like laterally and lighter on his feet than I thought. So there's that and then there's, and then this one's not even a nudge. I told you there were some matchups that were like, he is tall, he is long, he is fast. I told you during the season he was going to run fast because like you could see it on tape. But then I had a scout or someone I talked to said, no, he's like legit fast. And I'm like, really? He's a bigger corner. I don't, I don't envision him running in the four threes. He's not going to run in the four threes, but apparently he might because Davison Igbosun, at 6 2, 192 pounds was the fastest player through two days at the Senior bowl on the zebra technology. That's, that's play speed, right? And yes, it's not equal. Like some guys get to run 30 straight yards, build up Ahead of steam. And so obviously. So I'm not saying just because you're not on this list of the top three guys doesn't mean there aren't faster guys. But when you hit 20 miles an hour and when you're Igbonos and you hit 21.12 and this like that's different.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
So there's a little nudge for you.
Matt Miller
Just a little nudge with three guys.
Daniel Jeremiah
A little nudge. What's going on in the chat? We got three minutes left.
Matt Miller
Do you want to talk about. You know what? I kind of feel like we should save this. Do you want to talk about Caleb Banks? You want to. Want to save it for one of the next shows?
Daniel Jeremiah
Give the folks 30 seconds on Caleb Banks. He was a little frustrating to you today. Yeah.
Matt Miller
I don't want to go negative here. He was however. Yeah. However we did. He went to 1 on ones and I thought he had 3. Two dominant reps in another really good rep. And then I thought he, he had arrived. He had arrived on Wednesday. On Wednesday and played better. And then today he was. It was really showing up. And then I thought his next period during team was terrible. I thought he was on the ground twice. He was playing high. He wasn't like. And he was just talking non stop. And I don't mind that if you're backing it up, but if you're not always back backing it up and you're that talented, I don't know, it just is.
Daniel Jeremiah
Whatever.
Matt Miller
Maybe I'm an old man. That doesn't matter. It doesn't really matter. What does matter is playing high. Getting on the ground in a run period like you can't do was just too up and down for me. Now he's still an elite talent in terms of the physical tools. But I'm wondering how I said yesterday.
Daniel Jeremiah
I think it's gonna be really important where he goes.
Matt Miller
I wonder how team. How certain teams are going to view him. I bet there he is. He's one of those players that could be very different spots on different boards.
Daniel Jeremiah
Oh, yes.
Matt Miller
You know what I mean?
Daniel Jeremiah
Yes.
Matt Miller
Yep. Some teams will value him a lot more than other teams. And he. And it's not because of fit. He is a big guy, but he can play anywhere along the defensive line. Really. That's his athletic profile. He's going to play inside, but he could play any defensive tackle position you.
Daniel Jeremiah
Want him to play. Yeah.
Matt Miller
So it's not because of that. It's teams are going to look at him and view him. Him differently.
Daniel Jeremiah
I I and I again, I think it's gonna be really important he gets with a veteran defensive line room where they like 100, you know.
Matt Miller
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
From a technique, from the like. I don't want to say mature, but just like this, like pro.
Matt Miller
It's okay. Why is it not okay to say maturity? I mean when I was this kid's age, I was not mature. Like it's okay for him not to be. No, you aren't a full blown man right now. You know what I mean? He doesn't have to. To have it all figured out. I don't think it has to be a big knock, but you're right. I think he's going to need some.
Daniel Jeremiah
Help in that area. It's time to go. I set the timer. I'm a man of my word. I do want to mention that Jeremy Godden said that I, that it's very clear that I stressed you out and, and God, and I promise you that that might be the most accurate thing you've ever said. And I will never stop stressing this man out because we should do an.

Instagram Live, a View drive.
Daniel Jeremiah
Have you guys watched us on Instagram Live? It is such a disaster today. I find out after we were so proud of it. I found out after I was doing it sideways. So then this, we had to do it. We had to run it back on the. Run the car ride and you can barely see mention the back. He looks like he's creeping behind me. I don't. I think I'm. I think it's going to be my new thing. I think I'm just going to start breaking out IG lives whenever you and I are around each other and maybe just like I might call you all the time and put you on like facetime in the back and be like, I kind of like it. Thank you everyone for being here. It's been a good week. It's been an awesome week. And appreciate the support. I know this wasn't the biggest, like the biggest name Senior bowl in terms of like, you know, the guys I mentioned from a year ago, but every single year you wind up seeing a big chunk of the starters in the NFL come from this game. And this kind of allowed us this year more than I can remember in a long, since we were young scouts in this business. The ability to actually roll up the sleeves and dive in. And I feel like we got to uncover a lot of good players. I'm excited to get back and watch the tape. I'm excited for Netflix on Monday. I'm excited for the McShay report which is almost written. So Dan might get some sleep tonight. We'll feed him and we'll let him get some sleep. Hopefully we can get Tucker out. I don't think Michael and Nick want to hang out with us tonight. I think they want to get to to New Orleans, understandably. But hopefully they get a safe arrival. But thank you everyone for for joining, being with us mensch the entire week, not just tonight. Five stars, brother.
Matt Miller
Thanks, man.
