So it was starting to get hot out there and all of a sudden I realized that there's a dirt bike like centimeters from me. Like, I'm surprised the guy didn't brush me as he went by. And on the trail I met quite a few people that were kind of like dirt bikers. And I'm like, look, you got to be nice to everybody. Remind them to also call their senators and tell them how much public lands mean to them. When the race started, you could hear public land, like dispersed shooting going off in the distance. And some of the racers were like, ah, we're going to run by people shooting guns. I'm like, it's fine. They're all just out here having fun like we are. It's all good. And so, yeah, we just have to remember to all be buddies to keep so we can keep doing we like to do on public lands.
