The Sanctuary cities are now our priority. We're going to flood the zone. We'll have more agents in New York.

Him. Fuck him. Fuck him and everybody around him. I don't have to be fucking nice.

Hunter Biden shreds the Democrat Party in a fiery, foul mouthed and bizarre new interview. And President Trump increases pressure on two sports teams to change back to their original mascots. All that and more coming up in just a moment on your AM Update. As President Trump is settling into his new administration, one of the top Democrats in Congress aiming to undermine the Trump agenda is Democrat Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois. And according to our sponsor, the Electronic Payments Coalition, Senator Durbin has a new plan, a government takeover of your credit card. Today Americans have thousands of choices in credit cards, but they say Senator Durbin's plan will result in less competition and less security, which means more risk for your credit and your identity. You can learn more for yourself@guardyourcard.com and you could consider telling your senators to stop Dick Durbin's government takeover of your credit card before it's too late. Trump administration officials putting New York City Mayor Eric Adams on notice following an attack against an off duty Customs and Border Protection officer by an illegal immigrant on Saturday evening. The illegal allegedly shooting the off duty officer in the face during a robbery in a park along the Hudson River. The 42 year old officer and a friend reportedly sitting alongside the riverbank when two suspects allegedly approached on a moped. One attacker approaching the pair with a gun. The officer said to have returned fire in self defense but not before sustaining a gunshot to the cheek and to the arm. The suspects fleeing the scene on the moped. The officer now in the hospital in stable condition and Both suspects now in custody. Secretary Noem describing the long criminal history of the alleged shooter.
Kristi Noem
One of the suspected attack attackers, the one that was injured, his name is Miguel Francisco Mora Nunes, a Dominican national that was entering into this country illegally back in 2023. He was then released back into this country by the Biden administration. Miguel Francisco Moro Nunes is and has a rap sheet that is a mile long. He was arrested, he was charged with grand larceny and also assault. The state of Massachusetts has an active warrant out for him for armed robbery with a firearm. He also has many other charges against him, such as kidnapping and witness intimidation. There's absolutely zero reason that someone who is scum of the earth like this should be running loose on the streets of New York City. He was arrested four different times in New York City and because of the mayor's policies and sanctuary city policies, was released back to do harm to, to people and to individuals living in this city.
Megyn Kelly
The alleged accomplice, also an illegal from the Dominican Republic entering the country in 2022 under the Biden administration and ordered for final removal in 2023. According to Secretary Noem, he also has a criminal record in New York City, including arrests for reckless endangerment and larceny at the beginning of the second Trump administration. Mayor Adams promising to deepen cooperation with ICE despite the city's sanctuary status. But the crux of Adams's promise, reopening an ICE office at Rikers island, was blocked by a state judge in June. NYPD cooperation with ICE is limited now to criminal matters. The police in the city prevented by city law from cooperating with federal officials on non criminal immigration matters. Secretary Noem calling out Mayor Adams, we.
Kristi Noem
Have spoken with him about the policies before and asked him to change those policies. There's times that the NYPD and I believe that still in place, that if one of our officers is in jeopardy, they're still backing us up on that, but not doing operations with us, which does happen in many other cities and other jurisdictions. We wish we had that kind of partnership with Mayor Adams. And I know you guys have got a leadership election in this country or in this city that's going to be happening soon. Boy, start looking at the candidates today and see which one is going to start making this city safer because you've got a mayor today that could have done better and could have done better and maybe he'd have more support today if he had, if he'd have put his people first.
Megyn Kelly
The secretary also slamming other city leaders who refuse full ICE Cooperation.
Kristi Noem
We look at Mayor Wu in Boston and what has happened there under her watch, what's happened in LA with the riots and the violence and the protests that have gone on because of Mayor Bass and what she has perpetuated. When you look at Mayor Johnson in Chicago and how devastating it is to live in that city, in some of those poorest communities, how they suffer every single day with the violence that's in front of them. Just because these individuals are protecting criminals. They're protecting criminals who go out and murder, rape, rob, they perpetuate violence on our children, they traffic them and drugs and damage this country every single day under the protection of sanctuary city and governors who put in place these policies that allow them to perpetuate these crimes with no consequences.
Megyn Kelly
A visibly angry border czar, Tom Homan, promising the feds will send more resources to New York and other sanctuary cities.
Tom Homan
The sanctuary cities are now our priority. We're going to flood the zone. You don't want to let us into jail to arrest a bad guy in the safety and security of a jail. You want to release him into the street, which makes it unsafe for the community, makes it unsafe for the officer, makes it unsafe for the alien, because anything can happen on the street arrest. So what we're going to do, we'll have more agents in New York City to look for that bad guy. So sanctuary cities get exactly what they don't want. More agents in the community and more agents in the work site.
Megyn Kelly
Mayor Adams running for re election as an independent at a Monday press conference, responding to Secretary Noem saying don't blame him.
Lowes Advertiser
That have nothing to do with the rules that are put in place. I just carry out the rules. Rules are, if you're in the city of New York, you have a right to services, go to the hospital, educate your children. You have the right to get police services if need be. When you do an analysis of this case, we arrest people, the courts determine if they're going to stay in jail or not. This person has been part of a revolving door criminal justice system, allowed to get back on the streets. So I am extremely angry that we have a custom border patrol officer that is in the hospital because a person that should have not been on our street was on our street.
Megyn Kelly
Republican candidate Curtis Lewa and the only candidate who opposes sanctuary cities posting on X quote, a violent illegal alien may have pulled the trigger, but it was Eric Adams's reckless policies that created the conditions for it to happen. He for sure has blood on his hands. Coming up, Hunter Biden, Rips George Clooney following the actor's public push to force President Biden out of the 2024 election. Hunter Biden's assessment and hide the kids for this.
Hunter Biden
Fuck him. Fuck him, Fuck him and everybody around him not to be fucking nice. Number one, I agree with Quentin Tarantino. Fucking George Clooney is not a fucking actor. He is a fucking like I don't know what it is. He's a brand. And by the way, and God bless him, you know what, he supposedly treats his friends really well, you know what I mean? Buys them things and he's got a really great place in Lake Como and he's great friends with Barack Obama.
Kristi Noem
Fuck you.
Hunter Biden
What do you have to do with fucking anything? Why do I have to fucking listen to you? What right do you have to step on a man who's given 52 years of his fucking life to the service of this country and decide that you, George Clooney, are gonna take out basically a full page ad in the fucking New York Times to undermine the President.
Megyn Kelly
Mr. Biden also speaking out for the first time about the cocaine found in the Biden White House. In July 2023. Eleven days later, the Secret Service closing the investigation, announcing no suspects could be determined. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announcing in May the investigation would be reopened. Mr. Biden Denying the cocaine belonged to him.
Hunter Biden
I think they're opening up an investigation to cocaine that was found in a cubby outside the West Wing of the White House.
Tom Homan
Oh, so they blame, they just got.
Megyn Kelly
To blame you automatically.
Hunter Biden
Yeah, I mean, they're literally going to do FBI another congressional investigation because they've convinced themselves that it had to be me, that there was a little tiny. And my is my point of even bringing it up is that, no, I have been clean and sober since June of 2019 and I have not touched a drop of alcohol or a drug. And I'm incredibly, incredibly proud of that.
Megyn Kelly
And why would you bring cocaine to the White House?
Hunter Biden
Why would I bring cocaine to the White House, stick it into a cubby outside the Situation Room in the West Wing when I wasn't there?
Megyn Kelly
He seems to be suggesting he's sober for this interview too, which is remarkable. President Trump on Sunday intensifying calls to restore the former mascots of two professional sports teams, the Washington Commanders football team, formerly the Redskins, and the Cleveland Guardians baseball team, formerly the Indians. Washington changing the name in July 2020 at the height of the BLM protests among heavy corporate pressure and calls from some Native American groups. Cleveland officially switching the name the following year after removing the Chief Wahoo logo portraying a red faced man with a feather in his hair from team uniforms in 2019. At the time, some Native American groups welcoming the moves as long overdue steps toward cultural sensitivity and respect, while another supported the continued use of the name Redskins and the quote, respectful use of Native American names and imagery in sports, education and public life. On Sunday, President Trump posting to Truth Social, quote, the Washington Whatevers should immediately change their name back to the Washington Redskins football team. There was a big clamoring for this. Likewise the Cleveland Indians, one of the six original baseball teams with a storied past. Our great Indian people in massive numbers want this to happen. Their heritage and prestige is systematically being taken away from them. The President following up on that post hours later, quote, my statement on the Washington Redskins has totally blown up, but only in a very positive way. I may put a restriction on them that if they don't change their name back to the original Washington Redskins and get rid of the ridiculous moniker Washington Commanders, I won't make a deal for them to build a stadium in Washington. The team would be much more valuable and the deal would be more exciting for everyone. Cleveland should do the same with the Cleveland Indians. Indians are being treated very unfairly. Make Indians great again. Myga the Washington Commanders currently negotiating a deal to relocate their home stadium back to Washington, D.C. from Maryland, where they have now played since 1997. The Washington Commanders have yet to respond to the renewed calls, however. In the past, owner Josh Harris has said the rebrand is here to stay. Cleveland Guardians President Chris Antonetti responding, quote, I understand there are very different perspectives on the decision we made a few years ago, but it's a decision we made and we've gotten the opportunity to build the brand as the Guardians over the last four years, and we're excited about the future that's in front of us. Okay, Some Democrats testing the waters for a potential 2028 presidential run already California Governor Gavin Newsom swinging through South Carolina earlier this month former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visiting Iowa and former Chicago mayor and longtime Democrat operative Rahm Emanuel making an appearance on the Megyn Kelly show yesterday. In the interview, he broke with his party on Trump's border policies, saying he would not change them if elected president, though he disagreed with Trump's deportation policies and also took a bold stance on the issue of gender. Sort of. Well, at least when compared to others in his party. So do you believe boys should be able to play in girls sports? No. Should we be putting men in female prisons, Men claiming they're women?
Tom Homan
No.
Megyn Kelly
And all right, here's my last one for you. Can a man become a woman?
Hunter Biden
Can a man become a woman?
Tom Homan
Not no.
Megyn Kelly

Introduction
In this compelling episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, hosted by SiriusXM, Megyn Kelly delves into a trio of high-stakes topics that have captured national attention. From a harrowing incident involving an illegal immigrant and a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, to Hunter Biden's explosive interview, and President Trump's fervent campaign to revert professional sports team mascots to their original names, Kelly navigates through political, legal, and cultural landscapes with incisive analysis and unfiltered conversations.
1. Illegal Migrant Shoots CBP Officer: A Sanctuary City Crisis
The episode opens with a grave incident that has intensified the debate over sanctuary cities in the United States. An illegal immigrant allegedly shot an off-duty CBP officer during a robbery in a Hudson River park, sparking a fierce response from Homeland Security figures.
Incident Details
On Saturday evening, an off-duty CBP officer and a companion were relaxing by the Hudson River when two suspects approached on a moped. One of the assailants brandished a firearm, leading to an exchange of gunfire. The officer sustained a gunshot wound to the cheek and arm but managed to return fire in self-defense. Both suspects have been apprehended, and the officer remains hospitalized in stable condition.
Kristi Noem's Response
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem delivered a scathing critique of New York City Mayor Eric Adams and the city's sanctuary policies. At [02:57], Noem stated:
"Miguel Francisco Mora Nunes is and has a rap sheet that is a mile long... There's absolutely zero reason that someone who is scum of the earth like this should be running loose on the streets of New York City."
Noem emphasized the repeat offenses of Mora Nunes, including charges of grand larceny, assault, and armed robbery, condemning the city's repeated releases of such individuals.
Tom Homan's Stance
Border Czar Tom Homan echoed Noem's frustrations, pledging increased federal resources to crackdown on sanctuary cities. At [06:26], Homan asserted:
"The sanctuary cities are now our priority. We're going to flood the zone... we'll have more agents in New York City to look for that bad guy."
Homan criticized sanctuary policies for prioritizing criminals over community safety, underlining the administration's commitment to dismantling these measures.
Mayor Eric Adams' Response
Amidst the backlash, Mayor Adams defended his policies, asserting adherence to city laws that protect residents' rights. At [07:00], Adams remarked:
"Rules are, if you're in the city of New York, you have a right to services, go to the hospital, educate your children... This person has been part of a revolving door criminal justice system."
Adams criticized the administration's approach, highlighting the complexities of criminal justice and the challenges posed by sanctuary policies.
2. Hunter Biden Shreds the Democratic Party: A Fiery Interview
In a revealingly candid and profanity-laden interview with independent news outlet Channel 5, Hunter Biden takes aim at prominent figures and internal party dynamics, stirring controversy and sparking widespread discussions.
Attack on George Clooney
Hunter Biden did not hold back in his condemnation of actor George Clooney, especially regarding Clooney's op-ed in the New York Times challenging President Biden's leadership. At [09:51], Biden vented:
"Fucking George Clooney is not a fucking actor. He is a fucking like I don't know what it is. He's a brand."
He further criticized Clooney's influence and perceived undermining of President Biden, expressing disdain for Clooney's actions aimed at swaying political narratives.
Comments on Cocaine in the White House
Addressing persistent rumors about cocaine found near the White House in July 2023, Biden denied any association. At [10:18], he retorted:
"Why do I have to fucking listen to you? ... I have been clean and sober since June of 2019 and I have not touched a drop of alcohol or a drug."
Biden dismissed the allegations, highlighting his sobriety and questioning the motivations behind the investigations, which he claims are politically driven.
Defiance Against Criticism
Displaying unwavering defiance, Biden dismissed criticisms from Kristi Noem and others, refusing to soften his stance despite the aggressive nature of the interview.
At [11:38], when questioned about his sobriety during the interview, Biden jested about needing the Witness Protection Program, underscoring his willingness to confront uncomfortable topics head-on.
3. President Trump Pressures Sports Teams on Mascot Names
Shifting the focus to cultural and sports arenas, President Trump has intensified his campaign urging two major professional sports teams to revert to their original mascots, igniting debates over tradition versus cultural sensitivity.
Background on Mascot Changes
The Washington Commanders, formerly the Redskins, and the Cleveland Guardians, previously the Indians, had changed their names in response to growing calls for cultural respect and sensitivity. These changes were met with mixed reactions, drawing both support and backlash from various communities.
Trump's Renewed Push
In a series of posts on Truth Social, Trump vociferously demanded the restoration of the original team names. At [08:30], he declared:
"The Washington Whatevers should immediately change their name back to the Washington Redskins football team... Cleveland should do the same with the Cleveland Indians."
He emphasized the heritage and cultural significance of the original names, framing the demand as a move to honor Native American heritage.
Economic and Branding Implications
Trump linked the name changes to potential economic consequences, threatening to withhold support for stadium deals if teams did not comply. He asserted:
"I may put a restriction on them that if they don't change their name back... I won't make a deal for them to build a stadium in Washington. The team would be much more valuable and the deal would be more exciting for everyone."
This stance places economic leverage in his push for cultural restoration, intertwining financial incentives with cultural debates.
Team Responses
Both teams have so far maintained their current branding. The Washington Commanders are in negotiations to relocate their stadium back to Washington, D.C., while Cleveland Guardians President Chris Antonetti stated:
"We've got the opportunity to build the brand as the Guardians over the last four years, and we're excited about the future that's in front of us."
As of the episode's airing, no indication of a name reversal has been announced, leaving the issue unresolved and ripe for further political discourse.
4. Emerging Political Figures and Policy Stances
The episode briefly touches upon emerging political candidates and their stances on pressing issues:
Curtis Lewa's Stand Against Sanctuary Cities
Republican candidate Curtis Lewa emerges as the sole contender opposing sanctuary city policies, leveraging the recent CBP officer incident to bolster his platform.
Rahm Emanuel's Conservative Shifts
Former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel surprised audiences by breaking ranks with his party on several issues, including border policies and gender identity topics. At [15:07], during a discussion facilitated by Tom Homan, Emanuel responded:
"Can a man become a woman?"
Tom Homan: "Not no."
This exchange underscores an ideological shift and positions Emanuel as a candidate with nuanced views that diverge from mainstream Democratic policies.
Conclusion
Megyn Kelly masterfully weaves through a tapestry of national concerns, presenting unvarnished insights and bringing to light the intricate interplay between politics, societal values, and individual narratives. From the raw emotions of Hunter Biden's disclosures to the strategic maneuvers surrounding sanctuary city policies and cultural symbols in sports, this episode encapsulates the tense and transformative landscape of American discourse in 2025.
