Michigan authorities say all congregants of a Grand Blank Michigan Church of Latter Day Saints are accounted for after a gunman rammed a truck into the building Sunday morning, unleashing gunfire and setting the church ablaze. Four people killed in the attack, eight injured, two of whom are in critical condition after being shot. The victims, ranging in age from 6 to 78 the suspect also killed in a shootout with police. The FBI describing the attack as a targeted act of violence. As investigators probe the suspect's past, new details emerging about the 40 year old Marine and Iraq War veteran's life. Press secretary Caroline Levitt Monday morning on fox. From what I understand based on my conversations with the FBI director, all they know right now is this was an individual who hated people of the Mormon faith and they are trying to understand more about this, how premeditated it was, how much planning went into it, whether he left a note. All of those questions have yet to be answered, but certainly will be answered by the FBI. Burton City Council candidate Chris Johns spoke to the suspect less than a week before the attack while canvassing for his campaign. John's describing the man to the Detroit Free Press as, quote, extremely friendly. And though the suspect appeared to hold animosity toward Mormons, John's saying it did not seem violent. John's going on to say he conversed with the alleged gunman for about 20 minutes. The suspect opening up about his military career and his struggles with drug addiction. Upon returning home, Johns says the suspect told him he moved to Utah at one point and was in a relationship there with a woman who came from a Mormon family. From the Detroit Free Press, quote, the suspect began asking him open ended questions about Mormonism. The more questions the suspect asked on the topic, the more pointed they became. Johns said everything the suspect asked him about Mormonism led to the alleged shooter declaring the religion as the Antichrist. Johns says he recognized the alleged gunman instantly when he saw images on TV and social media. Police Chief William Rennie saying on Monday the alleged gunman had been previously arrested for burglary and driving while intoxicated, though did not elaborate further. The suspect's family is cooperating with investigators. According to the White House. The scene of the attack still on lockdown as multiple agencies investigate the wreckage. President Trump joined by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, unveiling a 20 point plan to end the war in Gaza on Monday at the White House. The White House announcing the plan just eight days ahead of the second anniversary of the October 7 attack when Hamas militants invaded Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking 250 hostages. The sweeping plan calling for Gaza to be fully demilitarized and governed by a temporary international committee known as the Board of Peace chaired by President Trump. The 48 hostages remaining, 20 of whom are believed to be alive, would be returned within 72 hours and in exchange, Israel will release almost 2,000 prisoners. Aid would immediately begin flowing into Gaza as Israeli forces gradually withdraw, handing over security to a newly created international stabilization force. Hamas members who disarm will be granted amnesty and allowed to leave Gaza, though no one will be forced to move anywhere. The area will be redeveloped as a special economic zone with international oversight until the Palestinian Authority completes a reform plan. If all conditions are met, there is a possibility of eventual Palestinian statehood. President Trump describing the proposed temporary governing.
Donald Trump
Structure to ensure the success of this effort, my plan calls for the creation of a new international oversight body, the Board of Peace. We call it this. So it'd be headed by a gentleman known as President Donald J. Trump of the United States. That's what I want, is some extra work to do, but it's so important that I'm willing to do it and we'll do it right. And we're going to put leaders from other countries on and leaders that are very distinguished leaders. And we'll have a board and one of the people that wants to be on the board is the UK Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. Good man. Very good man. And some others. And they'll be named over the next few days and it'll be quite the board working with the World bank and others. It will be responsible for recruiting and training a new government that will be made up of Palestinians, along with highly qualified experts from all around the world. Hamas and other terrorist factions will play no role in the board. They'll play no role in the governance of Gaza at all.
Megyn Kelly
The foreign ministers of Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt releasing a joint statement welcoming the deal, which hinges now on Hamas's acceptance after nearly eight months of stop and start negotiations between the White House, Israel, Arab leaders and Hamas. All eyes now on the terrorist organization. Fox News reporting Hamas negotiators have been briefed on the planet and are reviewing it.
Political Commentator
We don't know where Hamas stands on this proposal. The leadership has been meticulously taken out by Israel. Yahya Sinwar was killed in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. Mohammed Def, killed in the southern city of Khan Younis. Ismail Haniyeh killed in the Iranian capital of Tehran. So the people negotiating on behalf of Hamas are historically lower level people. They are not actually the decision makers. And so they're all that's left from the leadership in this terrorist organization. And it raises questions about who will be able to put that final pressure on Hamas to have them basically sign off on this agreement.
Megyn Kelly
Political reporting one source involved in the process suggests a response may take a few days. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu from the White House issuing a warning to Hamas.
Jerry
We're giving everybody a chance to have this done peacefully, something that will achieve all our war objectives without any further bloodshed. But if Hamas rejects your plan, Mr. President, or if they supposedly accept it and then basically do everything to counter it, then Israel will finish the job by itself. This can be done the easy way or it can be done the hard way, but it will be done. We prefer the easy way, but it has to be done. All these goals must be achieved because we didn't fight this horrible fight, sacrificed the finest of our young men to have Hamas stay in Gaza and threaten us again and again and again with these horrific massacres.
Megyn Kelly
President Trump saying Israel will have the White House's full backing to finish the job if Hamas rejects this deal. Coming up, the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk back in court with an expensive taxpayer funded legal team. And with the government prepared to shut down tonight, Republicans and Democrats refusing to blink. For now, it's the time for Medicare annual enrollment again. Speaking only once to confirm his presence on the line, Robinson dialing in at the request of his newly appointed defense counsel from the Utah County Jail where he is being held without bond. The hearing lasting about 10 minutes. District Court Judge Tony Graf previously determining Robinson cannot afford a lawyer. Utah law requires the court to appoint two or more well qualified attorneys in death penalty cases where the defendant is indigent. Last week, the Utah county commission approving a $1 million contract funding both Robinson's legal defense team and the prosecution. Attorney Catherine Nestor named Robinson's attorney Michael Burt and Richard Novak appointed as co counsel. According to Deseret News, each has decades of legal experience, including extensive work on death penalty cases. The prosecution yesterday confirming an open line of communication with Robinson's defense team to share a quote, substantial amount of discovery. Lead defense attorney Nestor asking for more time to review the documents before making a decision on whether to proceed with a preliminary hearing.
Attorney
It is not our intent to waive a preliminary hearing in this matter. We are going to be seeking that one be set. However, based largely on what the state just referred to as far as voluminous nature of the discovery materials, we do think it would be prudent to simply reset for another conference, another waiver hearing a little bit down the road where we have a better idea once we start seeing the discovery as it rolls in. I do recognize we're going to be getting that first batch in five days, but it's my understanding from our meeting today that there is massive amounts of digital that is going to be coming and we until we can kind of get our heads around exactly what we're dealing with and how much we need to process, it's going to be difficult for us to give you a reasonable expectation of when, when we will be ready to do the prelim.
Megyn Kelly
Judge Graff setting the next court date for October 30th at 10:00am where Robinson will appear in person for the first time. He faces one count of aggravated murder, two counts of obstruction, felony discharge of a firearm, two counts of witness tampering and commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child. Congressional leadership meeting at the White House yesterday as the government's funding is set to run out at midnight tonight. Walking away without a deal. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries after the White House meeting yesterday.

It's up to the Republicans whether they want to shut down or not. We've made to the President some proposals. Republican leaders will have to talk to them about them, but ultimately he's the decision maker. Significant and meaningful differences remain and we are not going to support a partisan Republican spending bill that continues to gut the health care of everyday Americans, period.
Political Commentator
Full stop.
Megyn Kelly
House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, putting it this way.
Political Commentator
They wanted to restore taxpayer funded benefits. Okay, hard working taxpayers in America, they want to take your funds and give that for benefits to illegal aliens. During the Biden administration, there were 13 threatened shutdowns. The Republicans in the minority did the right thing. We kept the government open. We're simply asking for the Democrats do the same. This is a hijacking of the American people and it's the American people are going to pay the price.
Megyn Kelly
Vice President J.D. vance saying Republicans are open to discussions on issues like health care, but not amid a shutdown.
Political Commentator
You will hear a lot from Senate Democrats, from House Democrats about the fact that American health care policy is broken. Well, we know that American health care policy is broken. We've been trying to fix it for the eight months that we've been in office. But every single thing that they accuse about being broken about American health care is policy the Democrats have supported for the past decade. I think we're headed to a shutdown because the Democrats won't do the right thing.
