It is crashing live on air as Donald Trump's cover up of the Epstein files is backfiring in his face as Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans approval is at all time historical lows. Donald Trump I think literally has the worst approval of any president in U.S. history at this time as the American people are fed up as Democrats are over performing right now in special elections and at the November elections in 2025 overperforming by 15 to 20 points. Fox doesn't know where to go with all of this. So let me explain to you what state regime media is talking about if you want to like Ben, what are they talking about? Are they talking about the Epstein files? Are they talking about the horrible economy? Are they talking about the fact that people can't afford anything? Are they talking about the fact that Donald Trump is a Putin bootlicker Meeting with Russian envoys and trying to get Ukraine to surrender. What are they talking about? Okay, well, here's what they're talking about. They're. They are mocking former Vice president Kamala Harris for going on a podcast and providing dating advice. So you have Lara Trump and Fox. This is their big scoop. Good job, Fox. This is what they're talking about to try to distract their viewers. Here, play this clip.
A
Kamala Harris just did a podcast. You might have missed it. This is a clip she was asked about dating advice. Let's see if we can learn something.
D
Be kind to yourself and choose to be with someone who is kind. Choose to be with someone who allows you to laugh at yourself and them. Maybe you're gonna choose that you wanna have that kind of Friday night relationship, or you want that Sunday morning relationship.
E
Sometimes you can get both.
A
Is that helpful?
D
Brian, how many glasses of wine do you think she had before this interview? That's the big question there. I'm taking zero advice on anything from Kamala Harris. And I think the American people probably agree with that.
A
Realize they're raising money to pay off our debt. Can you imagine that? Hi. Kamala spent all our money. Can you give us some money? Because she actually. She's on Overdraft right now.
B
Now, what else do you think state regime medias are talking about? Yeah, they got to attack, uh, Kamala Harris. Who else are they gonna go after? Obama.
A
Right?
B
They gotta go after Obama. And so they go, have you seen Obama's ugly presidential library? What do they say? They go, it's the dark star. Like in Star wars, they called it the dark star. Have you guys ever even seen Star Wars? The dark star. Here, watch this. Here, play this clip.
F
Where's President Obama been? He's been building a very expensive eyesore in Chicago in the form of a library. Library. We saw a tour of him inside, and the inside doesn't any better than the outside. People have compared it to the dark star, some sort of Star wars thing, but we have now.
B
There it is. There you go.
A
Look at that.
F
So that's what he's spending hundreds of millions of dollars to do to build in Chicago. Well, Obama's presidential library Chief. Breaking the silence on the controversial design you see here, Kim Patterson of the Obama Presidential center helped answer the question that everybody is asking. Where are the windows? There are not a lot of windows on the. But that's not. That's intentional because sunlight is just not a friend to the artwork and the artifacts that are going inside of the building. Patterson said. But what's the deal with the building's shape? That also was intentional. The shape of the building was actually meant to mimic four hands coming together to show the importance of our collective action. So there you go, boy. Well, I mean, look, you can look at it a number of different ways, and I've been to quite a few of the presidential libraries, not this presidential center per se, but the. And let's be honest about it, this is not exactly a shining beacon of a design, at least from the outside, for most Americans.
B
But state regime media wants you all to know that the fact that Donald Trump's approval is horrible is actually a good thing, according to this host. So we always hear that Donald Trump's approvals cratering, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But he's a victim of his own success. You see, that's what's going on here. Here, play this clip.
D
We hear a lot about how Trump's approval ratings are cratering and blah, blah, blah. I mean, look, yes, they're down from where they were earlier in the year. That's to be expected. But I think in some ways, Trump is a victim of his own success and that voters expect a lot from him because they know that he can deliver on it.
B
But state regime media says promises made, promises kept. Donald Trump said that he would bring back the word Christmas. Merry Christmas. He said that was obliterated before Trump came into office. And now people get to say Merry Christmas again because y' all never got to say Merry Christmas when Donald Trump was not in office. Well done, Donald.
E
Yay.
B
They're really going with he brought back the word Merry Christmas. How delusional do you have to be to watch this and go, yeah, that makes sense to me. You're playing this clip.
A
Fox News contributor Joe Concha is here with me tonight. Great to see you, Joe. You know, one of the little remembered promises that President Trump made when he first ran for office was that in America, we would be able to say Merry Christmas again. And I think it's safe to say that he has accomplished that.
F
We can say Merry Christmas again.
B
Yes. So what else are they talking about on state regime media? They're talking about the looks, the physical appearance of Democratic presidential candidates. They're like, Democrats are changing their appearances. They're growing goatees. And Pritzker is walking more. Here, play this clip.
A
It's not just the midterms. The 2028 slugfest is officially on. Candidates even getting makeovers. I'm not kidding. Democrats are changing their appearances in three main areas. You got fitness suddenly they realize it matters. Styling. Some got some gel and some facial hair. Some that can do it are growing it. According to Axios, J.B. pritzker is working, excuse me, walking five miles a day, which is five miles than he's ever walked in his life, probably. Josh Shapiro ditched the off the rack suits. Now everything is custom. Good job. Governor of Pennsylvania. And of course, Mayor Pete is growing a beard, looking tough, trying to look exactly like Chuck Norris. Will that be effective? Let's be honest. This is a two horse race. You got Kamala against Gavin. CNN has them on a collision course. It is neck and neck right now. Gavin's got the edge, which tells you how bad things are.
B
And just so you can see that that's actually what they've been like, they've kept. That was like their main topic. Okay. They didn't cover at all the Epstein cover up. Like, didn't mention it like at all. Their digital mentioned it, like one passing reference and talked about former President Clinton being in the files. No mention of Trump at all. But they go, but then they bring on Kellyanne Conway and she's like, yeah, these Democrats are trying to fix their faces. You don't have to worry about your faces. Fix your policies. Like, how corny is this crap here? Display this clip right here.
D
And independence. Democrats have totally lost independence.
A
So I want you to take a look at people that think they're gonna be contenders in 28. They're not just standing by, they're changing their look. How about putting a spring in your step? If you're Governor Pritzker is walking five miles a day. It looks like Governor Shapiro of Pennsylvania now gets tailored custom suits. And Pete Buttigieg says, give me a beard.
E
Stop making me laugh. So early in the morning, these candidates.
A
Come up, you know, would come up to Kellyanne Conway and say, what should I do to be more appealing? Are they doing the right thing?
D
No, because if you're a Democrat, I.
E
Would say, don't bother fixing your face. Fix your policies.
B
I know, right? Utterly, utterly pathetic right there. What else is state regime talking about? Well, you've got more from Lara Trump and here's what she has to say. Play this clip.
D
And the good news for Republicans is that Donald Trump and J.D. vance right now as president and Vice president, are doing amazing things. By the end of this president's second term in office, I think life is gonna be set up so much better for the American people. They're going to want to continue what this president started. And obviously that will never come from voting for a Democrat.
A
And by the way, everyone's getting the Trump watch. That's what everybody's saying.
D
Meanwhile, and you got to get a Trump watch.
B
Of course, then you have hosts that are trying to give Donald Trump advice because they know he watches this. So you have this one host, Morrow, who's like, I'd like to see Trump. Maybe you attend a swearing in ceremony with some Latino people to show that, you know, maybe you pretend that you care about Latinos for a little bit, Donald, because you know, the Latino community because you're sending their family members and themselves to like, you know, concentration camps and you're engaged in cruel deportation and you, your ICE and border Patrol gestapo keep on attacking. Why don't you do some pr, Donald, show up at a swearing in ceremony for new citizens. That really, that's where you're going here. Play this clip.
G
Immigration. I do think, and I've said this on the air before, that one of the things they should consider in 2027, 26, excuse me, is the idea that it's been all stick and no carrot. It's been all about rounding people up and getting people out. We understand 10 million illegals came in. I'm on board with it. But that said, one of the things Trump promised was a big beautiful door. And I think as he needs to talk to Hispanics who he's going to need for the midterms here is focusing on 2028. Should be thinking about the midterms because that's the next big test and that's what we really got to get past. According to the polling right now, he's got a hill to climb relative to Hispanics. The big beautiful door has to be something. I would like to see the following. I'd like to see the president do something like a swearing in ceremony to show that we're not anti immigrant, we want legal immigration. It's under the executive. Do a nationwide swearing in in every city where they snare swear people in. You could do it by zoom. So I really feel like that's one of the things you should be looking at the economy.
B
But there was one host on state regime media was at least telling the truth. Marshall, here's what, here's what this host had to say. Finally, someone speaking the actual truth. And you can tell that they're absolutely nervous about all of this. Play this clip.
A
But you took, you had a different view of the, of that particular picture.
E
Well, I have a different view of everything everybody has said so far. So I'm so glad that both Paul and Kayleigh have just hit the ball into my court when it comes to polls. Three quarter of Americans find that the economy specifically is fair or poor. There are more than half of Americans who disapprove of the President's job performance. And then hemorrhaging, not light losing, hemorrhaging independent voters, hemorrhaging youth voters, hemorrhaging Latino voters. Not going to get it back by the midterms. Paul is right. In the predictors for the midterms, the Dems take the House. Even in the most conservative leaning predictors and polls now, Dems have flipped 25 Republican held state seats so far. Republicans have flipped zero. And then you have victories in New Jersey, you'll say oh that, that's a blue state. Well, if Virginia is a blue state, I guess Glenn Young, Glenn Youngkin didn't get the memo on that. Biden is not running for president. He is a former president. I don't care where he stands on a Christmas card because he's not running. He is not the leader of our party. He's a former president. That was a leader.
F
He's kind of hiding there.
E
No, I told you what this is. This is a teenager took the picture and she looks great in it. And this is the one I'm posting. I don't care how. Grandpa, who is the leader?
G
Who is the leader?
E
We don't have one leader and you don't need to have one leader. This far out from the general, I remember back in the day there are two people's names that most of us had never heard of. A guy named Bill Clinton, a governor in Arkansas, Barack Obama. Who's that?
D
They both are considered a leader of the Democratic Party.
B
They were.
E
They were both very.
A
Well, they're not getting the party to rally.
B
And then finally you have a Fox host saying that it's actually the Democrats are melting down over how good the economy is. Things are great. Democrats are the ones melting down. Okay, here, play this clip.
F
Can you please explain to us why time and time again for months upon months we have heard the naysayers talking warning of an expected downturn or a recession, blasting tariffs. Now the data doesn't lie. 4.3% GDP growth with predictions of a stronger 2026. Those comments by the way, were from this past week. Precisely, Griff, and again, Merry Christmas to you as well. Look, Democrats can only succeed in gain back power if the Trump economy does not do well. So their allies in the media are going to push this narrative that things are not going well despite all the green we just saw on the screen. As far as everything going in a very positive direction. I mean, as you mentioned, the GDP is doing great. Core inflation is down, gas prices are down. Griff. To the point where there are some states where a gallon of gas is, is well below $2 per gallon. In places like Tennessee, Texas, Colorado, Utah. On average it's below $3 per gallon. Food prices are leveling off, wages are up. Trillions are now being invested into the country and billions are being raised by tariffs.
B
That's what's going on in state regime media right now. It's like an alternate universe of frigging weirdness, right? Oh man. Can we just get the truth out there, please? That's, that's what our network's here for. Hit subscribe. Let's get to 6 million subscribers and thanks for watching.

Episode: Fox News Loses All Control as Trump’s Term Crashes
Date: December 28, 2025
Hosts: Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas
This episode spotlights how Fox News (“state regime media,” as the hosts dub it) is allegedly struggling to control its narrative as Donald Trump’s second term goes off the rails. The Meiselas brothers dissect Fox News coverage, critiquing their avoidance of serious issues—such as the resurgence of the Epstein files—and instead focusing on superficial topics like Kamala Harris’s dating advice, the Obama Presidential Library’s aesthetics, and Democratic politicians' physical makeovers. Through energetic banter, the brothers expose what they see as the desperation and misdirection of right-wing media amid plummeting Trump approval ratings and strong Democratic performance in special elections.

This episode features the Meiselas brothers’ signature blend of insightful political critique and irreverent humor. They break down what they perceive as Fox News's deliberate distractions and reality distortions as Trump’s term falters, while calling for an honest, fact-based media ecosystem. For listeners, it provides a brisk tour through the right-wing media echo chamber and serves as a direct challenge to accept hard truths amid political spin.
