Donald Trump held a disastrous press conference earlier in the day. He lies about the D.C. crime rate which is actually significantly on the decline in order to take over the Metropolitan Police Department. Trump and his Department of Defense say they're sending in National Guard and potentially other military into Washington D.C. also during this disastrous press conference, Donald Trump continued to say that he would be meeting with Vladimir Putin in Russia and he kept on calling Alaska Russia very concerning. He also attacked Zelinsky and praised Putin repeatedly and just started cursing when talking about California Governor Gavin Newsom, who's standing up to him. We'll talk about that. Donald Trump has continued to post videos of people wrestling with sharks. Just randomly, with no context, just people wrestling sharks. Donald Trump also posting photos and images of himself golfing from last week. He thinks that's the type of content that people want to see. As prices are surging as inflation is red hot right now, Republicans are going on TV and conceding yes, prices are going to get much higher. They already are. The MAGA Republican Leaders are saying, but this is what we want. This is liberation. We deserve this. This is what we deserve. I'll show you MAGA Republican leaders using that as the new talking point. Democrats are up 7 in the generic midterm poll. Maybe because of things like that. Among other things, Vladimir Putin is getting way more aggressive right now than even before. Some of the most intense fighting right now is taking place in Donetsk and Zapricia, the areas that Putin is saying that he will need to have fully handed over for him in order for there to even be discussions of a potential ceasefire. And I want to talk about how Donald Trump's special envoy to Russia, Steve Whitcomb, who has no diplomatic or foreign policy experience, lied and said that Putin was agreeing to swap or give up territories when Putin said, nope, we want Ukraine to hand over territories that Russia has not taken over. And now Russia is increasing the killings in Ukraine. Didn't Donald Trump say he would end this war in 24 hours? Another lie. Let's talk about also Democrats fighting back, whether it's California Governor Gavin Newsom, whether it's Illinois Governor Pritzker, whether it's Senator Bernie Sanders in West Virginia. We'll talk about all of that. Also MAGA Republicans making a strong move. It's very concerning, folks, to overturn same sex marriage, petitioning the Supreme Court to get rid of same sex marriage. That was always part of their plan. Quite dystopian indeed. Let's talk about all of it. We've got a lot to cover. Brett and Jordi, Another Monday, more Trump fascism, more Trump lies, more MAGA harming our country.
Brett Meiselas
More of everything except releasing the Epstein files, I guess. Any, anything to distract from that. This is one of those mornings again where, you know, I've said it before. You wake up here on the west coast and a lot has already kind of happened. Even when you wake up early and you look at my, I look at my phone and I'm like, what, liberate D.C. we're sending the military into D.C. what does liberate even mean anymore? Is he tariffing D.C. oh, he's sending the military. I got to decipher the language. And you're just like, this is this classic move that he does right now. And this is why it's always so important that we call out the lies every single day, every single minute, every single hour, because Trump uses lies to do really horrible things. And we see where they lead and we see where they lead internationally as well. We'll get into some other stories there. But lies could have really serious consequences. We're going to break down the latest news of what happened today with Donald Trump's announcement and with all other things going on, I'll toss it over to Jordi because I know we have a whole lot to get into.
Jordy Rosenberg
Hey, everyone. What's up, Midas Mighty? What's up, brothers? I'm just excited to get into today's show. We have a lot, a lot, a lot of ground to cover. So I guess, Benji, with that, where are we starting off today, big bro?
Ben Miceli
You know, this press conference was originally, I think people thought was going to be about just Donald Trump talking about bringing the national guard into Washington, D.C. you look at all of the stats about violent crime and crime in general in D.C. it's all down significantly, and it's down way more than in red states. So if you look at maga, Mike Johnson, State of Louisiana or if you look at the crime rates in Florida, or if you look at what's going on in Alabama or most red states have a significantly and red cities have a significantly higher crime rate than in blue states and blue cities. But we know what Donald Trump's doing here. He's trying to inflict pain and, you know, encourage war, basically against Democratic cities. So it was not just the National Guard. Then Donald Trump announced that he was taking over the Metropolitan Police Department, and he never told the Mayor Bowser that he intended to do that. The mayor of D.C. you know, you'd probably want to coordinate these things, right? Because why would you want chaos and disorganization? But Donald Trump lives and festers in destruction and chaos. So he doesn't tell the mayor and she finds out just during that press conference. But the press conference was completely odd because Donald Trump spent a lot of time just not Even talking about D.C. he was attacking President Zelensky here. Donald Trump says, I get along with Zelensky, but I disagree with what Zelensky has done. What do you mean? What is Zelensky done? He got, he got Ukraine invaded by Russia. That's Zelinsky's fault that Russia invaded Ukraine and that Zelinsky bravely stood against Russia. Like, what are you talking about here? Play this clip. I disagree with, according to Donald Trump. Just so you're all clear, Ukraine would be Russia at this point. That's what Donald Trump means. Then Donald Trump says that he was, by the way, this is a press conference about Donald Trump bringing the national guard into D.C. and taking over the Metropolitan Police Department. But then he goes, I'm bothered by Zelinsky saying that The Ukrainian constitution prevents Ukraine from giving up land currently under Ukraine's possession that Russia wants, that Russia has not been able to seize by force that is heavily fortified by Ukraine, keeping Russia back as Ukraine is out there courageously fighting Russia, hitting some of the oil refineries and railroads in Russia and harming Russian capabilities. Donald Trump's pissed that the Ukrainian constitution says you can't just give up land to Russia. Here, play this clip they need.
Donald Trump
But I want to have a meeting set up between the two leaders. I was a little bothered by the fact that Zelensky was saying, well, I have to get constitutional approval. I mean, he's got approval to go into war and kill everybody, but he needs approval to do a land swap because there'll be some land swapping going on. I know that through Russia and through conversations with everybody, to the good for the good of Ukraine. Good stuff, not bad stuff. Also some bad stuff for both.
Ben Miceli
I know that by talking to Russia, a little bit of swapping, it'll be good swapping. You give up your land, it'll be good. Actually, it'll be bad. I know these things. By the way, to see Pam Bondi behind him as the Attorney General, and Pete Hegseth, the former failed Fox Weekend host, as the Secretary of Defense, I can't help but look at that scene and say these are quite literally the dumbest and stupidest and most dangerous people you could bring together in a single camera shot right there. But then Donald Trump talks about going to Russia on Friday. He's going to Alaska. He invited. He invited Putin to American soil, to Alaska. You should all know, though, in Russian schools, they teach that Alaska is still owned by Russia and that it's being leased to the United States. So one of Putin's intentions and why Putin wants it to be in Alaska is because Putin wants to take over Alaska for Russia. So Donald Trump calling Alaska Russia is incredibly concerning. So here's the first time he says it multiple times played the first time.
Donald Trump
See, this is a tragic emergency. And it's embarrassing for me to be up here. You know, I'm going to see Putin. I'm going to Russia on Friday. I don't like being up here talking about how unsafe and how dirty and disgusting this once beautiful capital was, with graffiti all over the walls.
Ben Miceli
Again, crime is down significantly. I don't know what it is that you are looking at. You may want to look at red cities and red states and just Donald Trump's language. It's embarrassing. I'm meeting with the greatest with Putin And I'm so embarrassed that I've got to deal with this disgusting hellhole. I mean, why don't you go and ask the people in Russia how their economy is doing right now? Because that's what Donald Trump wants our economy to look like. Why don't you ask the people in Russia what their inflation is look like? Because that's what it's going to start looking like in America. Ask the people in Russia about the energy issues that they're having there right now or about their ability to even stay warm during the winter. Just, why don't you ask them basic questions about being able to buy things in Russia right now? Maybe ask them those questions. And by the way, here, Donald Trump is saying it again. It's going to be big. We're going to Russia. You're going to Alaska. Here, play this clip.
Donald Trump
So look, look, look, let's just do this. Let's do this. It's going to be a big thing. We're going to Russia. That's going to be a big deal.
Ben Miceli
Just looking at that shit eating grin on Pam Bondi who's covering up for a pedo sex trafficking ring behind him. Like how funny this is about, you know, just, just mocking the American people as what you're building a freaking 90,000 square foot ballroom in the east wing of while inflation is surging, while Americans are suffering. You're talking about meeting with Putin in Alaska and calling it Russia as Pam Bondi like thinks this is all one big freaking joke. What pathetic, vile pieces of trash all of those are. Everybody in that Trump regime.
Brett Meiselas
Brett, this is the kind of North Korean esque regime that would try to now change Donald Trump's schedule to make him go to Russia to retroactively make it so he wasn't right and didn't just have some sort of like dementia moment multiple times over there when he was speaking at the press briefing. I mean, it was just totally off the rails. Also, who is Donald Trump to divvy up Ukrainian land? Like let's start with that premise in the first place. It's absolutely abhorrent that he even thinks he has a right to go there and say Ukraine, you need to give up this, you need to give up that. And Russia doesn't even know like what he's talking about. Like he's been saying Russia's been making all these concessions. Russia's like, actually no, no we haven't. Like you may, may envoys misunderstood what I was even saying. And so they're going to this meeting. It's Very. It reminds me kind of when Donald Trump elevated Kim Jong Un a few years back. Now he's doing it with Vladimir Putin, legitimizing his conquest of Ukraine, his invasion of Ukraine, uplifting him in this way, giving him this power, cutting Zelensky out entirely. And he's forcing Zelensky and the EU right now to try to develop their own plans separately from the United States, to fight back against the aggression, aggression of the United States and Russia. This is completely unprecedented. And it's all because, honestly, because Donald Trump has failed in his promises to end this war like he said he would within 24 hours. He thought that he could outsmart Putin when he was Putin's puppet, and Putin was able to outsmart him the entire time. And so you just see chaos after chaos after chaos with this administration, whether it's there, whether it's what Trump is trying to do on the streets in D.C. and it's fitting that he's speaking about this actually at this press conference, because all of his chaos is, Gets combined into just like one shit show. And it really sums up the administration so far.
Jordy Rosenberg
No, 1000%. The thing I have to disagree with you both on, guys, this is all because Zelensky didn't. He didn't even say thank you. Linsky never even said thank you. He didn't wear a suit and tie to the. How dare he. The way Trump speaks about this, it's like he thinks Ukraine invaded Russia. I mean, hearing him up there speaking and rambling like this, it's upsetting for so many reasons, because Trump has shown time and time again that he's just not fit to be president. Like he says and does the most reckless and idiotic things. He struggles to even just complete, like the most simple sentences when he's up there too. Again, this press conference was about what that throw in the national guard in D.C. and all of a sudden he goes on this weirdo Zelensky tangent on top of that, like it's very clear, not only doesn't he care about the country, he's just completely clueless about what's happening around the world. And he's making Americans by proxy just look like a bunch of jag offs. Because this guy who's elected President of the United States is the biggest moron to ever exist. That's the most frustrating part. When I'm seeing him up there rambling and raving like a lunatic, I just think to myself, like, this just doesn't. Not only does it look bad for him, that's obvious. But it makes us as Americans look awful because that's supposed to be, like, the top position. That's the guy that's supposed to be the captain of the ship. And I mean, I mean, you talk about an emperor with no clothes. This guy is out of his mind. I think people really need to start to talk about his cognitive decline because it's always on full display now. It's really scary. It's honestly very scary.
Ben Miceli
It's why tourism is down, what, 40% from Canada and elsewhere into the United States. I mean, who the hell would want to be here for this chaos that Donald Trump is unleashing? Jordi, to your point, it seems like every day Donald Trump commits about 55, 0 impeachable offenses every single day. That if former President Biden was like, well, what if Biden did this? Or what if Obama did this? Either impeachable offenses or the immediate invocation of the 25th Amendment, that would be taking place on a bipartisan basis because Democrats would say, look, Obama's got to go and Biden's got to go. If Biden, if they did any stuff like that. I mean, you know, in addition to covering up a pedo sex trafficking ring and moving Ghislaine Maxwell to a minimum security facility and waiving the requirements that you can't be a sex trafficker to be at this facility in Cambrian Prison, Texas, and, you know, just overall engaging in this massive cover up there. I mean, just think about the last week, you know, and this just kind of, you know, just passes by and no one really even talks about it that much. But, like, Donald Trump going on the roof of the White House and saying he's building nuclear weapons on top of the roof and then pointing around to the White House and saying, I own this. I bought this. This is my money. I mean, could you imagine if former President Biden went on the roof? This is mine. I bought this. Nukes. I'm putting nuclear weapons on the roof. This weekend, again, Donald Trump was trying to get to the roo of the White House. The White House press pool wrote, he's coming up to the roof again. And like, the Secret Service had to stop him from going on the on the roof. Security position on the roof. They've gone inside. They're still holding the pool in place. However, in case Trump does come on the roof. They are waiting for him there. He's going to go on the roof. He's going to go on the roof again. And then on Sunday, he started. He went to a nearby residence and just Kept on, like, pointing at the roof over and over again. And then, not to mention, on Friday, when Donald Trump made this, like, announcement of what he called a peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which, in my view is really just allowing Armenia to surrender disputed territory in the Republic of Artsakh to Azerbaijan, which is a major win for what Turkey wanted to do, and a big violation of Donald Trump's promises to the diaspora community, Armenian community in the United States. Donald Trump brings the Azerbaijani dictator into a section of the White House where Donald Trump has Trump 2028 gear. It's a whole wall of Trump violating the Constitution and seizing office in 2028. And he's there with the dictator from Azerbaijan pointing out his Trump 2028 gear. Again, just a flagrant violent of the Constitution. It's one of those things that just, just. Oh, that's just Donald Trump being Donald Trump. Nah. On the Midas Touch Network, I'm calling that out here. Play that clip of Trump and the Azerbaijani dictator. Play.
Donald Trump
You know, you're not allowed to run, so. Because everyone. I'm 28 points higher than anybody. Everybody wants me to run, but including everything, you know, it's funny. So this drives me crazy. Look, four more years. They go four years. So it's sort of cool. Fellas, come on. Grab what you want. That's okay.
Ben Miceli
You know, just other stories, too, that. Could you imagine if. Imagine a former Vice president, Kamala Harris ordered the Army Corps of Engineers to raise the water level of a river so she could have a better kayaking experience. That's just one of the things that J.D. vance did in his numerous vacations. Ordering the Army Corps to raise a river in Ohio. Jordyn. In order to Kai. In order for the kayaking experience to do better. Oh, and then J.D. vance went on Stephen Miller's wife's podcast and was like, yeah, you know, when people who are making fun of me running, I was just pretending to be an ogre. That's called me playing the ogre game with my son. He said about that. Oh, one more point, Brett, then I'm tossing it over to you. Then Trump's family started posting photos of Donald Trump on the roof, throwing green penises at WNBA players who are somehow playing basketball below the White House. And this is like Don Jr. Posting images of Donald Trump chucking green penises at female professional basketball players. And then the Republicans on tv, you know, are like, oh, and corporate news. Oh, you don't know how to meme. That's just funny.
Donald Trump
Yeah.
Brett Meiselas
And the tone is set from the Top in, in organizations and famil and in countries. And we have a President of the United States, his family, his advisors, his aides all setting this tone of just like the most vile shit you've ever seen or heard or thought of imaginable. And it's really infected the entire population. First off, like, for people like us, it's like, it's very, you know, horrific watching all this stuff on a daily basis unfold. And then everyone just goes, oh, it's a joke. He's joking about this, he's joking about Ukraine. Okay, listen, these are serious topics, okay, when that the President, United States could joke, but maybe he shouldn't be joking about certain things. But even just like the Don Jr thing, him posting that image, it's just such a disgrace when you have these WNBA players right now who are doing their job, showing up, not nearly getting paid what they should be getting paid, they're getting these dildos thrown at them while they're playing basketball and are just trying to do their jobs. And then you have the President's son endorsing that sort of behavior. It's the same thing that they do. You could extrapolate that to everything, to tensions across the entire country. And when you really look at the divide that we experience in the United States right now between different political parties, between people of different ideologies, it really comes from Donald Trump and it comes from the people around him. There's never been a more divisive, more corrupt individual in the presidency than Donald Trump. And all of his acolytes around him are equally as corrupt, if not more corrupt somehow. And that, that, that, you know, that there's a trickle down economics may not work, but trickle down assholery certainly is a thing with this administration. And you see it, that's why you see these angry Trump supporters getting in people's faces in like videos, right? That's why you see the vile rhetoric. That's why you see the bullying that you see, you know, in schools and in workplaces and whatnot. You see this MAGA behavior kind of just be unleashed because it is endorsed by the President of the United States. One other note, because we're tying together here, Trump is doing what Putin is doing, what all these people are doing around the world. I just want to say that anytime an individual out there, a world leader, says that he's going to free a place that he's going to liberate a place that he's going to denazify a place that's just a red flag to Me, in most scenarios, I'm going to say that's what Putin said when he was going to invade Russia. That's what Donald Trump says when he's going to take over a city. Usually that's what Netanyahu says before going into Gaza, trying to take it over. Anytime you see someone say, I'm going to liberate this place, I'm going to free this place, to me, that should mean red flag, red alert. What is their next move? It's the tactic of these dictators and authoritarians throughout the world to use language like that in this kind of North Korean style way to divert people's attention and to propagandize their supporters into supporting heinous actions.
Jordy Rosenberg
Absolutely. And just it's the overall behavior from Trump too. Bray, you talked about top down leadership. Exactly. But where in any sort of, of walk of life would his type of behavior be tolerated? Literally think like, would you want someone who babysits your kid to behave like Donald Trump? Would you want someone in your office to behave like Donald Trump? If you, you know, are working a desk job, is your boss, is it okay if he or she behaves like Donald Trump on a day to day basis? Oh, but the meme with the green dildos throwing it, that's so funny and hilarious. It's just so beneath the level of the presidency. And to see it happen and play out not just once, but every single day. Again, almost used as a distraction tool at this point. Release the Epstein Trump files. Donald Trump. Release the Epstein Trump files, please. Let's go. You said you were going to release the Epstein files. Where are they? And so every day he's got to do something, you know, a little bit more absurd to take people's eyes off of that. But meanwhile, people are hyper focused. The American people are smart. We could walk and chew gum at the same time. And we're not going to be distracted by his games, but at the same time as he is playing these games, Brett, to your point, he's using incredibly dangerous rhetoric that shouldn't be and wouldn't be tolerated if it were anyone else. So why, why, why does corporate media continue to give him a pass and just let him continue to act like this maniac where again, his words have real world repercussions.
Ben Miceli
And the repercussions are being felt. America is weaker, America is poorer, America is less safe. There is entire, there is an entire transformation of the world order taking place right now around other polarities of power with America being among the weakest. That's in play right now. Also in play right now is the fact that tariffs are causing lots of pain right now and it's only going to get worse as prices will continue to increase. I will not be surprised if we start to see 4 1/2% inflation pretty soon. I mean, that's the direction where things are headed. I want to talk about a lot more things when we come back from our first break, but I want to remind everybody that the Midas Touch Network will be with the organization move on in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, August 23. The won't back Down Tour coming to Omaha, Nebraska. So if you're in Omaha or any nearby city or state and you're able to make it, we'd love to see you there. MAGA Republican leaders saying sure, prices are significantly higher right now. Tariffs are crushing our businesses too. The MAGA Republican Congress members and leaders in the Senate are saying. But they're saying, shut up. Why are you mad at this? This is what it means to be great. You need to feel this pain. You deserve it. Feel it, suffer it. Let's suffer together for our fury. It's basically what they're saying. Here's MAGA Republican Congress member Ralph Norman. Here's what he says.
Jordy Rosenberg
Let's play time. Congressman.
Ben Miceli
Americans largely disapprove of the economic policies of this president.
Jordy Rosenberg
At least right now. 55% say they disapprove of his job on the economy.
Ben Miceli
45, 44% approve.
Jordy Rosenberg
Can you explain those numbers?
Donald Trump
Well, I think a lot of people are seeing higher prices. Prices. I'm in the, our family's in the construction business and we get a lot of our timber from Canada and other countries. Yes, it's higher. Steel prices are up, but it's for the good of the country. And should we expect high prices? For a short time, yes. But overall we couldn't keep going the way we were going. The cancer in this country was letting other countries rule the day and tax our products. And why should we run a deficit every month? And that's why, why this president is doing such a good job and you can't go on. You know, poll numbers vary. They come up, they go down. But the bottom line is he's doing the right thing and it couldn't come at a better time. And things will get better here. Congressman Ralph Norman, Republican of South Carolina.
Ben Miceli
Thanks for coming on today. Remember, that was what he ran on, right, Brad? I mean the MAGA Republicans, we will make things More expensive and that will get better, better. So when it's more expensive, you will all be happy. My business is suffering, but he's doing the right thing. Like just admit that you're in a cult because literally all of the things that he's doing are bad for you. I like it. You like the racism. You like black and brown people and especially pregnant black and brown people getting thrown in concentration camps, right? That's. At the end of the day, just say you enjoy that because your freaking life, life is so damn miserable that the only joy you get is seeing the pain from migrant spread. It's like that story also with the lady who wants to get rid of same sex marriage. How dare same sex marriage couples love each other and have rewarding lives and be happy. The MAGA Republicans and people like this, they're going to devote their entire lives to fair name like Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk who's backed by the same Federalist Society and MAGA Republican groups who basically were were able to get rid of women's reproductive rights. We told you, what are they coming for? Same sex marriage. And they said, nope, we're not coming. We like same sex marriage. Nope, you hate it. You're coming for like you look at her background, right? Married to husband one, had twins with husband three, divorced husband one, married husband two, divorced husband two. Two Married husband three, divorce husband three, remarried husband two. Oh, yes, thank you. Give us a lecture of the sanctity of marriage or Donald Trump and his regime that's covering up a literal sex trafficking pedo ring right now. Moving sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell to the minimum security facility right by Texas A M's college campus and saying I wish Ghislaine well. Giving Ghislaine Maxwell immunity. Not even picking up the freaking phone to speak to the victims. These are the people who want to tell us the sanctity of marriage. It's on every single freaking issue. Bretton Jordy. It's ridiculous. Oh, and then we got the the CBO scores because the MAGA Republicans pushed through the disastrous budget bill so quickly that it didn't even get the scoring. And you take a look at just the data. I know MAGA Republicans hate the data, but the new analysis from the CBO of the big beautiful bill that was just released because normally they don't pass the bills before you get this data, but when you're Donald Trump and you're a fascist regime, you do. It shows the bottom 20% get poorer. Not most change for most America. But then the top 10% get meaningfully richer. And that's before tariffs. So CBO finds that this Trump bill, bill will literally take $1200 out of low income Americans, literally steal their money and then give it to wealthy Americans who get more money from this. That data was not released from this disastrous budget bill. But sure, Donald Trump can talk about building ballrooms at Golden Ballrooms in the White House where we have no clue who the hell is even funding these things. And, and, and, and, and that's what they're focused on. Trump posting photos of himself golfing in Aberdeen. Look at me, everybody. I'm vacationing on the taxpayer dime. Look at my son. He's posting photographs of me throwing orange penises at women basketball players. It don't, Aren't we all happy in the United States?
Brett Meiselas
Brett and Jordy, they always pitch it as like, like Norman tried to do there. We're just trying to sacrifice, guys. We just have to sacrifice for the better good. You know, we're, we're, we're all gonna, this is, all, this is good for you, right? No pain, no gain. It's kind of how they pitch it, but it's really just all pain for the middle working classes of the United States of America while the rich get richer every single time. It's always, it's never the rich that need to sacrifice. They get richer through all this stuff. It's always the people who need the money the most who are the ones who are told, you better sacrifice. This is good to you. Yeah, it's going to hurt and you're going to like. It basically is what they're telling us. And the thing is, the data just doesn't reflect that. Like, if you were to look at what was going on and you saw what Trump was doing and, and you saw, you know, all these people getting fired from the federal government and you saw them slashing all these programs. But then you saw like the deficit coming down tremendously, like Ralph Norman tried to claim, by the way, in that clip. Or you saw all of a sudden our debt was being wiped out, books were being balanced, and you're like, holy crap. Okay, I disagree with it, but I see what you're doing. But the fact is the opposite is happening. So they have zero leg to stand on. Over the past couple days, the national debt in this country surpassed $37 trillion. I don't think it was supposed to hit that till like later this year, till like September or October. So we're hitting $37 trillion early, earlier than expected with this build Back. No, sorry. What do they call it with the big beautiful bill. Sorry, it's back in Biden land. They didn't want that. By the way. All the, all the good stuff that Biden wanted to pass, Universal pre K and, and all that stuff that was, that was socialism.
Jordy Rosenberg
All this middle out, bottom up. Come on, come on, come on, come on. So woke. So woke.
Brett Meiselas
But you see. Yeah, exactly. But you see right now, you see, you know, the cuts that Trump is making and he has nothing to show for it other than rich people getting richer. I'm happy that the stock market's doing great. It's great, cool. I mean, but that's not helping the working class. The stock market is not the economy as we've said, as so many people have said, it's good when all economic indicators are good. But right now these economic IND are a disaster. Goldman Sachs, and it doesn't take a Goldman Sachs analysis. I don't think to say this, but Goldman Sachs released a statement within the past 24 hours saying that the impact of Trump's tariffs on consumer prices is just getting started. They say you may have seen a little bit right now, but it is nothing compared to what we are going to see over these next few months. And consumers are going to bear the brunt of all these tariffs. Like I said, doesn't exactly take an expert to get there, but it's a just a fact of life that Donald Trump and his administration and people like Ralph Norman continue to deny. Then you see all these stories. Bloomberg also profiled this guy, he runs this company called Kokona Labs. He was saying that the tariffs are having such a disastrous impact. He has a textile company on American textile exporters because he needs to sell his products to other countries. And he's getting hit by these reciprocal tariffs by other countries. He's saying I may have to move my business out of the United States in order to make more money in order to keep my business afloat. He's saying it's having the reverse effect as the tariffs are supposedly supposed to have. They said it's supposed to keep my business here. I don't know if I'm going to be able to afford to run my business in this country. I may have to create factories in Vietnam, in China, and just do business, business to business, foreign transactions overseas because I am getting killed right now doing this. This guy said that his investments were stalled, that their sales are just totally destroyed right now. And he was like, listen, I have been able to eat some of the tariffs, but I Can't eat all the tariffs, and this is going to totally destroy my business. That story is playing out all across the United States of America right now. Business owners are really having a difficult time. And just beyond even the numbers, which are, you know, the highest tariffs that we have seen since the Great Depression, that's what we have right now in this country. But aside from even those numbers and the amount that businesses are paying to import goods, just the very uncertainty of not knowing what's going to happen one day to the next, next is the worst possible thing imaginable for business. And so you have business people who just feel paralyzed right now. How am I supposed to make my plan for hiring for next year? How am I supposed to know what goods I'm supposed to buy? If I buy them now, they're going to be subject to a tariff. But maybe if I wait a week, Trump's going to decide that he doesn't have the tariff, and then I'll be able to get it cheaper. You can't really make decisions in that sort of environment. And Trump has put that sort of. Just put that into every sort of aspect of the government, whether it's business, foreign policy, there's just an uncertainty and a chaos, which makes everything that much more difficult, which puts everybody at that much more unease. And that's why so much feels chaotic right now. It's because the person at the top is causing chaos everywhere.
Jordy Rosenberg
And it's that reality deficit term, Brett, that you coined, which is so accurate, especially when it comes to the economy. Donald Trump is trying to tell you that you're doing great, that everything's fine. Meanwhile, regular folks are going to the grocery stores, they're working their jobs, and they realize, hey, you know what? I'm working really damn hard, but yet my paychecks aren't just meeting my simple cost of living needs. But that doesn't make any sense to me. The president and all the Republicans, they tell me we're doing great. They tell me that these tariffs aren't gonna come home and impact my lives. People are feeling it with their wallets day in and day out. And yet you have an entire, entire party, political party, this maga, Republican Party, because that's what they are.
Brett Meiselas
This isn't.
Jordy Rosenberg
They're not Republicans, or at least they're not your grandfather's Republicans. And I hate to say it, okay, fine, they are Republicans, but they're Republicans in 2025. And that takes on a whole new meaning, because unless you pledge 100% allegiance to Donald Trump, and when he tells you the sky's orange, you best say that sky's orange. Otherwise, you're going to be subject to a mean tweet. They're all following suit. They're trying to tell their constituents, these MAGA Republicans, these Republicans are trying to tell their constituents that they're seeing and feeling in their own lives isn't actually happening. And to me, that's just the saddest and most frustrating part of this all. Because at the heart of it, this country could be amazing. Like this country, if everyone just put their heads down, rolled up their sleeves, and did the work for the people, by the people, this country would be at its peak. But instead, you get these greedy politicians who want to line their pockets and say, oh, y' all are doing fine. Meanwhile, you know who's doing fine? Fine. People like Norman, people like Donald Trump, people like the Republican Party. Who knows that the Darifs, they're not going to impact their lives, but who cares if they mess with their constituents? They don't give a shit. Who cares if it impacts the American people at large? Because they're fine. And they know they have their golden parachutes. Ben?
Ben Miceli
Yeah. Well, that's why, though, the Republicans are pivoting the message, because they can't deny the suffering that's out there right now, because even the propaganda doesn't overcome that. So now, now they're back to, yes, you're suffering for the greater good. Which, by the way, that's messaging that you hear in North Korea, that's messaging that you hear in Russia. In a lot of authoritarian regimes where people are suffering, the suffering becomes normalized. That's just a way of life. But we're in this together against a common enemy. Who's the enemy for maga? Republicans. Is it Putin? No. Is it North Korea? No. It's Democrats. Or independence. Independence. Or anybody who's not part of the Trump cult. That's. And migrants. And first migrants, then Democrats. That's who we need to go after. That's the war. And that's also why they're also rigging the midterms. And we'll talk more about Democrats fighting back against MAGA Republicans rigging the midterms. But I want to go back to that press conference, because there was a few moments that were very revealing. When Donald Trump was talking about sending the National Guard and taking over the Metropolitan Police Department department in Washington, D.C. he gave very little actual details, like, what does that look like? What does that mean? Are you speaking to the mayor? Where are they going to be you know, this and then. And Mayor Bowser's like, I have no clue. I tried speaking. I don't know at all. He never coordinated this with me. I don't know what he's doing with our police department. Mayor Bowser also makes the point also that, you know, a few things. Trump's attacking the idea of no cash bank. She's like, we've had that since, like the mid-1990s. So, like, I'm not sure why in 2025. He's talking about something that's been around since the mid-90s. But she's like, the prosecutors, the judges, they're already hired by the federal government. Like the D.C. city, we don't control that. Like, that's controlled by the Fed. So Donald Trump doesn't even seem to know how the system even works in the first place. But Trump's focus on D.C. was him. Him and his Gold Ballroom. He's like, we're gonna make D.C. beautiful. Like my golden ballroom. Watch what he says here, play the clip.
Donald Trump
Some of the buildings, we're gonna add to it. You see what we've done at the White House. His White House is a whole different building. I do that in my part time because it's a natural instinct. As a real estate person, I was very good at that and I was very good at fixing things up. I like fixing things up. You see what's happening? The marble floor, floors are being reinstalled, renovated, fixed. The whole place is becoming very beautiful. We're going to be adding a magnificent ballroom. Most beautiful ballroom, I think, anywhere we need it. I would have certainly loved to have had it today. I think we would have filled it up. A lot of you are standing outside. Can't get in this room. I have never seen the room like this.
Ben Miceli
The most people ever in a press room ever in one place. We need a ballroom for my press conference differences. We need it. No, we literally don't. We need health care. We need affordable housing. We need an end to wars. We need peace in Gaza. We don't need ballroom. We need education for all Americans. We need good paying jobs for Americans. We need better standards of life. We don't need marble, golden everything in the White House. Like, let's be very, very clear. Clear. We need better standard of living in the United States. We don't need Trump Aberdeen golfing and posting videos of himself on the roof or random photos of people holding sharks or women grabbing snakes. Like, we don't need that. Okay. And then Donald Trump, I think he's attacking California Governor Gavin Newsom here for those on audio. I'm just, I did a screenshot of a random video that Donald Trump showed, showed of somebody just holding a shark. Like it just, there's no context for it. Trump's not referenced in this video. It's just someone like petting a shark. It's very, very strange. But then Donald Trump, I think he's attacking California Governor Gavin Newsom here. But other areas across the country that are trying to rebuild lower income housing. And Trump talks about low income housing. Like it's literally the most disgusting thing ever. Like why are you getting rid of mansions for low income housing? Why would you do that here, Listen to what he says here, play the clip.
Donald Trump
And now they're talking about putting this is among the most beautiful areas was in the country. Now they're talking about putting low income housing there. Can you believe this? I love low income housing. I made money with low income housing. I built low income housing. I know more about low income housing and luxury house. I know about everything really, real estate. They want to replace some of those homes with low income housing.
Ben Miceli
Why would you want low income housing in the Pacific Palisades? That's for the rich people. Not, not by the way the low income housing there. It's like $1.5 million home. So like let's be clear also like what's being discussed but it isn't that one of the reality deficits that's out there, there, you know, or just the lies and the fraud of Trump, like right there encapsulated, talking about gold ballrooms and marble on his floor and his whole bullshit campaign was about affordable. It wasn't what the way the media portrayed what he was saying is affordable housing on day one. Everything affordable on day one. And he mocks the idea of low income housing. And so people want to wonder, well, why Zoran Mamdani doing well in New York? Because the guy's talking about affordable housing housing because Americans can't afford their rent and Americans can't afford homes. And we're talking about Americans who are working jobs, sometimes multiple jobs and they can't afford a home. Not any, not talking about big homes, medium sized, small, any type of shelter for themselves after working jobs, multiple jobs, they can't put a roof over the head of their families. That's the issue right there. Brett and Jordy, I know you want to talk about that. So do I. I want to talk about that. I want to talk about Democratic governors fighting back. Let me toss the conch to Brett. Remember that Lord of The flies. I've got the conch now. You have the conch, Brett, because it feels like we're all a little bit with Lord of the Flies every day, just trying to survive right here with the Trump madness that's out there. I rudely, I rudely cut to commercial, Brett, but I knew that you wanted to speak about. I was talking about affordability and Trump bragging about 90,000 square foot ballrooms and then saying low income housing. The hell are they trying to build that in Beverly Hills for?
Brett Meiselas
No, it's all good. You were, you were on a tear now. You know, it's just the fact that this guy, and we've said this now for what, more than a decade, has been positioned as some sort of man of the working people is like the most laughable thing on the planet because the guy is a caricature of somebody who sticks his nose up and looks down on anybody who's not as rich as him. Like, it's been a consistent throughout his entire life, throughout his entire career and through his entire presidency. He thinks that poor people are dirt. He hates poor people. He hates anybody who actually has a real job.
Ben Miceli
Them.
Brett Meiselas
You like, hates them. And you could tell there how many of his supporters could benefit from low income housing being in communities. I'm going to guess a whole lot of people, it's. A whole lot of people in this country could benefit from more low income housing. I think that's a large part of the reason why we see somebody in New York, like a Mamdani surging right now. Because people need to be able to afford things in their lives. And then you have the guy who somehow deluded people into thinking that he was going to help them with affordability in power. And what's the message now? That you have to suck it up, that you have to deal with the pain, that you're doing it just for that, to please your cult leader. It's just the most cynical, disgusting messaging imaginable. But that's why when I look around and I see people, you know, like Bernie Sanders and they're, you know, filling up these arenas in like the reddest of, reddest of states like West Virginia, and you see what the people are saying there, you realize people just want to be heard. People have issues right on all sides of the political aisle, but they want people who are actually going to fix their issues. And I think one of the big issues that our country has is that they've been deluded into thinking that the other political party is just the enemy because they've just had a barrage of propaganda their entire lives. Their family history has pushed them in certain directions where they believe certain things. And so you have people in many of these states, many of these cities, who have maybe voted for these Republicans their entire lives. Then they all of a sudden start seeing that American dream slip away. They start seeing those jobs get shipped overseas. They get. They start seeing they're unemployed and all of a sud. Their Medicare is getting cut, their Medicaid's getting cut, their Social Security is getting cut, and all they know is what they're being told. And then they somehow blame Democrats for something that their own politicians are doing. It's like such a story that we see play out over and over and over again. I. I see all these accounts on social media all the time. You know, they're often tinged with a whole lot of racism and stuff, but they're always like, look at the good old days, right, When a single family, single, you know, working family, was able to actually afford a house and vacations and all this various stu. It's like, yeah, y' all broke that. Like, who. Who do you think broke that? Just look throughout history as to when jobs started getting shipped overseas, when things started happening. A lot of this started happening under, like, Ronald Reagan. And so let's, like, get the actual history of what's going on correct. Let's look at who's actually fighting for working people. Let's look at what people are actually doing when they're in power. Let's look at actually who's creating jobs when they are actually in power. I think it's something like 98% of the jobs over the past 20 or 30 years have been created when a Democrat has been in the presidenc. And so stop buying this bullshit that Republicans are somehow better for the economy, that they're going to help with the deficit, they're going to help with the debt. History has shown that it is always the opposite. And the people who are sacrificed, the people who suffer, are the working people of the country as the rich get richer and richer every single year.
Jordy Rosenberg
No 1000%. I hate to say it. You guys were too nice to Donald Trump right there, too. You said that he just doesn't like his supporters or he doesn't like the American. He wouldn't pick on his supporters if they were on fire. He despises his own people. And let me just say this, not to put on my conspiratorial hat right here, but you don't just build a $200 million ballroom. If you're going to be planning on moving out of that White House in three years, let me just say that I know we all saw that same footage over the weekend that we posted here on the Midas Touch network of the Trump 2028 gear. That to me is a major red flag that I think folks should be talking about a little bit more there. Ben, do you think, you know, it's.
Ben Miceli
Just the MAGA Republicans, they basically, everything is projection or they say, what's the criticism of us? Let's just use that against the Democrats. And because they don't care if what they're saying is the most ridiculous thing in the world, they'll be like, look, the Republicans, we can't unilaterally disarm. Look at what Governor Nome is doing in California. He's trying to get rid of five Republican seats there. So, of course Texas has to go. And Jerry Commander, it's like you got the story a little backwards there, Bud. It was Texas who wanted to do this right before the midterms in order to rig it. And Donald Trump said because he wanted those seats for himself. So then California had to respond like, what are you even talking about? Democrats wanted to pass for the People act under former President Biden. How naive that we thought Republicans would go and that this would be a bipartisan issue issue. And agreed to get rid of partisan gerrymandering. But Democrats introduced legislation to wipe out gerrymandering totally. Republicans opposed it before the Supreme Court. Democrats are always the one petitioning the Supreme Court to stop partisan gerrymander. Could you guess who's arguing before the Supreme Court to keep partisan gerrymandering? Yes. If you guessed, people like Ken Paxton and all of the Republicans, Attorney General, generals, they want to keep the unlawful gerrymandering. So just don't give me the. All the Democratic states are Democrats want to get rid of it. Okay. If it was up to Democrats tomorrow, there wouldn't be gerrymandering, period, Full stop. Y' all are the ones who are keeping it in place.
Brett Meiselas
Yeah. If you're going to fight for it, don't then get mad at the Democrats for, for playing by the rules that you've set up because they're the ones who are actually going against their own interests in many cases and saying, let's ban this sort of gerrymandering nationwide. Let's have it all be independent. You guys have rejected it, man. That's the second time in like the last, like, I don't know, two weeks or so. That Republicans tried to frame their arguments around changing timelines on very basic and obvious things like that, like how they go, oh, Texas needs to do this because Gavin Newsom is threatening that he's going to do it. No, Gavin Newsom is responding to you idiots. Now, remember a few weeks back when they were saying, oh, the only reason, reason that they're bringing up the Epstein files right now is because of this investigation into Obama. They're trying to distract from Barack Obama's crimes. The Obama thing came weeks after the Epstein stuff because you were trying to distract. We know how linear time works. Like, people are not stupid. I know. You think your supporters are that stupid. Maybe some of them are, I don't know. But I don't even think they're dumb enough to believe exactly what you're trying to sell right there.
Ben Miceli
That's the thing about disinformation, right, where you flood the zone with so much crap, you distort the kind of space time continuum where people are so overloaded that they're just in their own kind of political tribe or cocoon and aren't able to disentangle what's reality from what's not reality. And before, there was once upon a time in the United States of America, America, where I saw this, where fake news used to be, the National Enquirer, right. And then there was, you know, people who would generally report a fourth estate would give us, you know, the facts and, you know, sometimes they could be a little off here or there, but generally they were talking about an objective reality versus, as I say here, bending the space time continuum and just spewing Donald Trump brain rot, infecting the minds of Americans with total crap. But, you know, look, when I look at the polls, whether it's a generic poll that shows Democrats plus seven for the midterms, or when I just see the energy out there right now, I see momentum moving towards we need to stop this crap right here. So let me show you some people who are fighting right here. Here's what California Governor Gavin Newsom posted today. Here's a video of him saying to Donald Trump, you need to shut this down or else California is going to escalate. We don't want to have people do it. Governor Newsom, social media team in all caps, made a post the way Trump does. Donald, if you don't stand down, we will be forced to lead an effort to redraw the maps in California to offset the rigging of maps in red states. But if the other states call, if they're redistricting, efforts. We will do the same. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Brett Meiselas
I've been wanting, I've been wanting a Democrat to do that now for years. I'm so happy that they did that. So good.
Ben Miceli
And then you have Governor Pritzker saying, release the Epstein files, liar. Which I love as well. First, let me show you Newsom. Here's a video that Newsom made of himself. Let's play it. Hey, President Trump, it's time to stand down. It's time to make another phone call to Greg Abbott. This time, instead of calling him and telling him you're quote, unquote, entitled to five congressional seats, it's time to tell.
Donald Trump
Him to stand down. It's time to recognize that democracy is at risk.
Ben Miceli
It's time to, dare I say, do the right, right thing.
Donald Trump
Actually, see, see how that feels for.
Ben Miceli
You doing the right thing. If you don't, California will neutralize anything you do in the state of Texas. California will continue to punch above its weight. We believe in democracy. We believe in the enduring values of our founding fathers. 249 years. We're not going to sit back passively.
Donald Trump
We're not going to sit back and.
Ben Miceli
Watch you light democracy on fire. We will fight fire with fire. Here's Governor Pritzker. Let's play the clip. It's just big, ugly Bill. It's hyper unpopular in Texas, among people in Texas and across the country. And he knows he's going to lose the Congress in 2026. That's why he's going to his allies and hoping that they can save him. And we've all got to stand up against this. This is, it's cheating. Donald Trump is a cheater. He cheats on his wives. He cheats at golf. And now he's trying to, to cheat the American people out of their votes. Powerful stuff right there. And then I want to show you Bernie Sanders in West Virginia. Let's play this clip. West Virginia currently has four members of Congress.
Brett Meiselas
We're down from five recently.
Ben Miceli
Not one of them is willing to come here and do what you're doing. So I want to say thank you.
Brett Meiselas
I know that they're not willing to.
Ben Miceli
Come here and meet with us because.
Brett Meiselas
I have called every single office, their.
Ben Miceli
State offices, the D.C. offices, and they're.
Brett Meiselas
Not willing to come here.
Ben Miceli
That's not on their agenda.
Donald Trump
It's not in their plan.
Ben Miceli
And so my question is, as a member of Congress, what can we do? Aside from calling and writing letters and.
Brett Meiselas
Begging to be scheduled for meetings?
Ben Miceli
I've never felt more, more powerless in my entire life.
Brett Meiselas
And that's saying something because I'm a native of southern West Virginia, and we're historically just a forgotten people.
Ben Miceli
The answer is not an easy answer, but the answer. And by the way, one of the reasons I'm here in Bingo county as I have, I remember a little bit of my American history and the struggles that your miners fought here. So they were fighting oligarchy way back when. Some of them lost their lives in that struggle. Look, to answer your question, in my view, is you need a political revolution in this country. And what does that mean? It means that we need to start electing people who are accountable and from.
Brett Meiselas
The working class rather than people who.
Ben Miceli
Are busy running, raising money from billionaires. And I love the way Bernie Sanders frames the discussion about it's billionaires versus the rest of us, us, because it's accurate. And that also opens up the discussion and doesn't put us into these gamified camps that corporate news wants us to be in. And frankly, Republicans want to put you into these tribes. And at the end of the day, you have Trump, who represents a group of oligarchs, and they're trying to destroy and suck up as much wealth from everybody that that's the agenda. So if our politics actually reflected the dynamic that exists, 99% of the people should be voting against Donald Trump, or 99.9% should be voting against Donald Trump. And that's the reality that we need to, we need to get at. So I think that, you know, seeing Democrats fighting, seeing independence fight, seeing people fighting for the working class, to me, is meeting the moment right now. I just wanted to bring up one other.
Brett Meiselas
Sorry, no, because that's, that's what actually fighting for the working class looks like there. And, you know, you're seeing an interesting dynamic right now because, like, as we showed those, that poll before from YouGov, and this is being reflected in a whole lot of polls, right? I've seen a lot of people say, I'm worried. A lot of people don't, you know, have a very negative view of the Democratic Party. Well, these polls are showing something I think that is actually super interesting. It's that while a lot of people do have a negative view of the Democratic Party, the enthusiasm for actually voting for Democrats on a generic ballot is far higher than Republicans. And it shows that if this continues, especially if it increases, that Democrats are likely to take the House in the midterms. And so I think we're just seeing an interesting dynamic right now. And it comes down to the fact that people are hurt. People are hurt. People do want new leadership. People also, you know, I think a lot of this stems from the election, too. I feel like, you know, people are. Are very, very hurt by whatever happened in the election in November and the results of it and the last few months, every single day, it's been one traumatic thing after the next. As I started this episode saying, you wake up to this just horrific news every single day, and you're like, I don't even know if I want to get out of bed today. This is just horrific. And so naturally, like, if someone were to ask, you know, me a question like that, you know, what do you think about the future of the country? What do you think about the Democratic Party? I'm not sure what I would say, you know, and so I got to imagine there are a whole lot of people out there, out there who have this distaste in their mouth from the election, who. Who are just kind of fed up with politics as usual or fed up with the status quo. But a lot of those people are. People who are far more angry at Trump, are for. Are far more angry at what these Republicans are doing, and they see these voices that are going out there and are actually standing up for their values, whether it's somebody like a JB Pritzker or whether it's somebody like a Bernie or a Gavin Newsom or a Mamdani or, you name it, seeing people who are actually rising to the occasion. And it's showing, as Ben said, it's not about labels. It's not about, how left is this person, how centrist is this person? Is this person a moderate? It's, are people speaking to my values? Are people going to make my life better? Because people aren't walking around with those labels in their mind. They're not going, oh, yes, I'm the leftist, and I'm going to. Most people aren't doing that. Most people are just like, I want. I need. I want to be able to pay a bill and not go bankrupt if I get sick. I want to be able to go to the store, and I want to be able to afford food for the week. These are the concerns that people actually have. And so people could harness that energy, speak to that, and actually work to solve those problems and show just how badly Trump has failed and how much Trump and these oligarchs represent the oligarchy class as a whole. It is a real potent force to winning elections and to actually doing a really good work, work for this country and for the people of this country. So I urge everybody, anybody who's running for elected office, anybody who's in elected office, to look to these people. And I also encourage all the people out there who may be discouraged by a lot of leadership in the party or by people, the status quo, who may want to do things the same old ways. Look to those people who are actually speaking the way that you want them to speak, uplift them and try to get more people like that into office.
Jordy Rosenberg
Office, absolutely. People want fighters, they don't want talking heads. They don't want people who are just going to, you know, spit out the status quo bread, as you say, people want folks that actually care, care about them as people on a human level, not just looking at them as someone to check a box or, or, oh, look, they're on this poll. Or, or how does it micro target in this sector of the world, the people are actually hungry, hungry for leaders who are going to lead to make their lives better, to make housing more affordable, to make daycare more affordable, affordable, to make health care more affordable. Affordability is one of the biggest factors right now that's on the line in this country. The ultra wealthy are getting ultra wealthy and then you have everyone else. And that gap disparity between the wealth is honestly something that I worry about for my children and for this country as time progresses. Because what you're seeing, seeing with the Donald Trumps and with the oligarchs is they're finding ways to manipulate the rules and the laws and scheme and essentially rig the game in a way where they continue to just harbor all of this wealth. Let me get 30 yachts, let me get 40 private jets. And you know what? The regular folks are left kind of just holding the bag. They're the ones paying the taxes, they're the ones struggling. They're the ones that can't actually afford a home, a roof over their head. People are hungry for leaders that are going to lead them out of this darkness and just have the ability to live life and that quote, unquote American dream that they were promised when they were born, that if they put their head down, worked hard, went to school or found a good job out of high school, a trade job, whatever, that they would be able to live a good life. But that's not what we're seeing right now because of the way that these oligarchs and the ultra wealthy and the Donald Trumps of the world are trying to rig the game against you. And so that's what I love When Bernie takes there and he's passionate and you could tell that he means those words, that he is fighting for the people every single day. And we need leaders like that in this country because that's what folks are hungry for. Not just for some like Hollywood ending or. No, really, truly, to survive so this democracy can thrive not just for the next 10 years, but for a hundred years, forever. For they need leaders who care about the people. That's what I love about what Bernie just said. Yeah.
Ben Miceli
And then on, on corporate news, they'll say, but that's socialism. Isn't that communism? Like, no, no, look.
Jordy Rosenberg
No, no.
Ben Miceli
Donald Trump is in the Oval Office receiving bribes of golden bricks in exchange for tariff exemptions from corporations that they go in there and they hand him golden bricks. Okay? Donald Trump is cutting company by company deals, being bought off and bribed off. He just did one with Nvidia. We're going to take 25, 20% of your total revenue in China in exchange for exemptions. Donald Trump's out, out there attacking the CEO of Intel because he doesn't like that intel didn't kiss the ring the way other companies are doing. So. No. If you want to know what central planning, if you want to know what a cultural revolution looked like in the People Republic of China, it's Donald Trump going after the universities. It's Donald Trump going after the law firms. It's Donald Trump going after businesses. It's Donald Trump building golden ballrooms. And to tie this all to together, Ghislaine Maxwell is an oligarch. Right. She comes from Robert Maxwell. Robert Maxwell was her dad, an oligarch who died on his yacht called the Lady Ghislaine, allegedly by accident, but it's a mysterious death. Also peeing off the Lady Ghislaine yacht, which Donald Trump used to party on. That's how Trump and Ghisain are friends. They're oligarch buds. They're friends from back in the day.
Brett Meiselas
From the Lady Ghislaine yacht.
Ben Miceli
And then they were. They knew each other for all of these years. And now convicted sex traffickers are treated better than most Americans at this point. That's Donald Trump's dystopian nightmare that exists right now that we have to fight against each and every day. And that's what we're going to do on the Midas Touch Network. So I hope to see you all in omaha, Nebraska on August 23rd. Or not. You all but people who are from Nebraska or nearby, of course, I don't expect everybody to take trips to to see us in Omaha.
