got a lot to discuss on this episode of the Midas Touch Podcast. It isn't Groundhog's Day. Or maybe it is, but Donald Trump has called off the threatened strikes against Iran once again as the US Runs out of Patriot Interceptors. Thaad Interceptors, Navy destroyers as Middle east countries tell Donald Trump that you will not do this. If you ever want to have Any deals with us ever again.
Brett Jordan
Don't.
Benji
Donald Trump backs down. And Donald Trump lies and says, iran called me. They begged me. They said, please, Donald, please. We'll get into it. It's so utterly humiliating. Also, Donald Trump putting Jeanine Pirro and frankly the entire country through a constant humiliation ritual. As you know, at the end of last week, although it feels in this news cycle like months ago, but it was literally the end of last week, the Department of Justice dismissed the felony reflecting pool case against David Hur. They admitted that all of the evidence against him was fabricated. Jeanine Pirro said that the Department of Interior, led by Doug Burgum, was giving her incorrect information. And of course, Bergen was getting his information from Donald Trump. And Trump's like, no, it was the vandals. It was definitely vandals. She chickened out. She folded like an umbrella. And we believe that she will either be forced to resign or be fired at any moment. Now. We'll be covering that. Then you go from Pirro to another DOJ story. Todd Blanche like, and it should be noted too, that Jeanine Pirro, who's the top attorney in Washington D.C. for the federal government, she still reports to Blanche. So Blanche supervised her doing that, which in any normal period, that alone would be disqualifying for the ag, forcing the AG to resign if you fabricated charges against someone like David Hear. But now, right around midnight last night, Donald Trump and Todd Blanch pulling this scam in order to get Blanche confirmed. They said that they will be rescinding not the settlement agreement, but an order regarding the Anti Weaponization fund is what they call it for J6 insurrectionists. What Todd Blanche posted was not signed by all of the parties, and hence it is unenforceable. Also, his document, whatever the hell he did, this order doesn't actually talk about the immunity that Donald Trump got out of the settlement agreement when he sued the government where he never gets audited. He got auditing immunity, IRS immunity, not paying taxes, immunity from the date of the settlement agreement going back in time, which isn't just tens of millions or hundreds of millions. It could be billions of dollars in taxes.
News Anchor
Right?
Benji
Based upon all the quid pro quo deals Donald Trump did and the billions of dollars he made. But notably Todd Blanche. The document was a press release that said an update on the other on the May 19 agreement. And they affirmed it. They affirmed Donald Trump's immunity. But you know, these MAGA cowards, Thom Tillis and Corn are like, that's what we wanted. They clarified it. What are what Are you sickos talking about? And the way corporate news reported on this was so awful. It's why we need independent news. And the people though, understand it. What's actually good about this horrible moment is that the people understand the scam and they know that Trump and Blanche were just out and are just out to protect Trump from paying his taxes like, and that's this massive corrupt grift. That's what it's all about. Also in other international news, Donald Trump refusing to give Zelensky Patriot Interceptors or Patriot Interceptor licenses. Trump tapped Zelensky along back in two or three weeks ago at the NATO summit in Turkey. Trump said, I'm gonna give you the interceptor licenses so you can do it yourself and stop complaining. And then Donald Trump just rug pulled Zelensky and was like, actually we're not going to give you those interceptor license, cuz you may turn against us and use the interceptors. Use the interceptors again. Use the intercept interceptors. Right? Not even affirmative to stop the ballistics. You may use that technology against us one day. Never trust Trump. You can't do a good deal with a bad person. It's a quote from Warren Buffett and it's very true. Also, Trump's FIFA buddy, Gianni Infantino is now begging Donald Trump and Marco Rubio to help him keep his job after he tried to pull that FIFA forward scheme where he wanted to sell FIFA World cup to private equity and Kushner's company and sell 20% of it. And UEFA, the European football association and CONCACAF and all these other international football associations called it out. They stopped the plan to sell it. Kushner's fund ultimately backed down. It's Jared's brother's fund ultimately back down. And now they want to see Infantino out. They want to see. And you know, Infantino they say scammed him. They're threatening to sue him. And so Infantino runs to his daddy, Trump, I need your help. Keep my job. And meanwhile, while all of this is going on, the market manipulation continues. Let's bring in Bretton Jordi. That's like an intro that is right out of, you know, that's why it's like. And people like Ben, when was the last movie you saw? When I go, I look, I probably need more hobbies, you know, and I was great to get out in Carmel by the sea with the family and hang out somewhere else. But like tracking all of this stuff right now is occupying a lot of space right now.
Brett Jordan
It does occupy a lot of space and you know, it's Good to see you, Ben. It's good to see you, Jordy. Good to see the Midas mighty. You know, when I think of all this, what's that famous. I think it's a Shakespeare line. All the world's a stage. And that's how I feel when I'm watching all these various elements come to play right here. When you see this whole charade that just occurred with Todd Blanche and with John Cornyn and Thom Tillis, like, all these people are just such artists. They are all playing this game. It is all theater. And it is all to try to act like they are these holier than thou people. Oh, John Corn and Thom Tillis. Look, we got him to do something. Okay, you have my confirmation vote now. You earned it. Todd Blanche, all he's doing is showing how corrupt he actually is. This is yet another scam, in my opinion, that we are witnessing here. And it's pretty clear in black and white what he's doing. And frankly, you know, shame on all the people who went out there and reported this as some sort of, you know, like, this is Todd Blanch actually, you know, Thom Tillis and John Cornyn, what they want while he is literally just protecting Trump. But I thought Trump's comments about Jeanine Pirro today, where he basically erupted in the Oval Office over Jeanine Pirro because she what? Because she told the truth. I think that was very revealing to the kind of act that all of them are putting on right now and the weak points and why Donald Trump got mad there. I think it's all incredibly revealing. We're going to get into that and more. But first of all, course, gotta welcome back Jordy to the show. Jordy, what's up, man?
Ryan Reynolds
Brothers might as mighty. It is great to be here.
News Anchor
Brett.
Ryan Reynolds
First off, I didn't know you were so read up on Shakespeare. Wow, I didn't know we were going to start the show with a little Shakespeare.
Brett Jordan
You never know what's going to come out of my mouth.
Ryan Reynolds
Ben's quoting Buffet. You're quoting Shakespeare. What show is this right now? This is great.
Brett Jordan
I saw the. I saw the Odyssey over the weekend.
Ryan Reynolds
So, you know, there you go.
Brett Jordan
I'm in the literature right now.
Ryan Reynolds
Look, I'm excited to dive right in. Benji, I'll toss it straight to you. But just my big thing here is like, it's so incredible to me and like, incredible in a bad way how corporate media, after 10 years of covering Donald Trump, the Trump regimes, how they just still have no idea how to cover them, how they Just become stenographers for him. How they just basically repeat everything that him and his regime sort of put forward as if here, take this at face value. And meanwhile, all the way, the American people continue to get conned. And so much of that is truly due to corporate media is just awful coverage of so much of this. We're going to get into what I mean very shortly. Benji, great to see you, big bro. Where are we starting off?
Benji
You know, I've seen a lot of news also quote me in my analysis that this thing that Trump and Blanche did at midnight, by the way, when you do something at midnight, you're usually
Ryan Reynolds
trying to, you know, nothing shady ever happens. Right.
Benji
You know, and oftentimes the way it's phrased though is that, you know, Mr. Meisellus argues that it's unenforceable and that it doesn't address the tax immunity to Donald Trump. And it's phrased as like, I'm not making an argument, like I'm literally just giving you the facts of what it is. It's not an argument. It's very clear that the original May 18th settlement agreement says the only way that you can do any modifications is by doing it in writing by all of the parties. Parties, plural, not one party. And then also if you look at the document that Todd Blanche posted on social media at midnight, it doesn't say anything about rescission of the settlement agreement. All it says is a rescission of the order and an Update on the May 19th addendum. And so you could just read what. I'm not, I'm not trying to, I'm not arguing, I'm not, I'm not doing a debate with you about what it says. And it's often framed as a debate like I'm just telling you what's actually in it. And corporate news where they've lost their way a long time ago is they shouldn't say, well, Donald Trump says, But on the other hand, the legal experts are arguing and saying, then it becomes two sides. There's not two sides, okay? Trump preserved his tax immunity and this is a non enforceable order regarding the J6 fund, which Todd Blanch can resurrect at any time with another order. It doesn't do anything. Okay. And I've even posted on, on, on our social media accounts, you know how easy it would be to rescind the settlement agreement. Here's what you would post. All parties to the May 18th settlement agreement and the May 19th addendum hereby forever rescind and revoke both agreements, which shall hereby be deemed unenforceable, signed by all of the parties.
Commercial Voice
That's it.
Benji
That's the document. That's all you need. And then it goes away. What they did was a scam and a fraud on the American people. And it's so obvious. And shame on Tillis and Cornyn for pretending with the Kabuki theater that they were going to stand up for. You know, it's like, y', all, you losers. Donald Trump already destroyed your careers. I mean, Cornyn was a former Texas Supreme Court justice. He was a Supreme Court justice in Texas before becoming a senator. Tillis business person rose up through the ranks. I think he was like the speaker at the state level before becoming a senator and at the federal level. I mean, these people had real careers. And Trump destroyed your careers because you didn't go full ultra MAGA into the cult. But there were some areas, despite you both being bootlickers, there was just small areas where you were willing to challenge him. And for that you've been pushed out of the party. And still, still, even here, you can't even do the right thing. It's fascinating and distressing that that exists, that that's actually human nature that these two people then go on and say, oh, well, we accomplished what we wanted to do. You accomplished what you wanted to do. A non enforceable order regarding the anti weaponization fund should even be called that, but a non enforceable order there and giving the Trump family tax immunity for the, for from the date of the agreement going back in time. And I think untillist's post, he's like, and we got what we wanted by clarifying the scope of the tax immunity. What? Clarify. According to the document that was just filed by Blanche, Donald Trump, Don Jr, Eric Trump, all the Trump Trust, all the Trump companies get tax immunity from the date of the settlement agreement. And addendum May 19, going back in time. Well, we stopped it from being forward looking and stopping audits in the future over future conduct. Well, you can never enter a settlement agreement in the first place that waves future unknown claims that doesn't exist. The, the waiver, what we called in California, what we call in California when I was a litigator, a Section 1542 waiver. You can't waive prospective claims that don't exist. I mean, think about it. Let's just assume you're in a car accident with somebody and you settle and you get into a settlement agreement over that, you're not going to waive future car accidents. That don't happen.
News Anchor
Right?
Benji
How could you do that? You waive past unknown claims and known claims when there's an exchange. And so here the agreement never purported to waive future tax audits regarding unknown things in the future. It was always a past waiver. And so it clarified nothing. If anything, it strengthened Trump's arguments to tax immunity by putting it more in writing that we support it like it's the worst document imaginable. It's a total fraud on the American people. It was obvious to me, quite literally, Brett, it posted in 60 seconds. We were up at the Midas Touch Network with a post, because I looked at it, I go, what the hell is this? What the hell is this scam? And then we did it. And people like Scott McFarland and Katie Fang and Legal AF all called it out. Then I started looking at ABC and CBS and Newsweek and all of their headlines, and don't get me started on state regime. And it's like the $1.8 billion fund has been rescinded. It's like, do a modicum of analysis and research about what's really happening.
Brett Jordan
Brett Jordan, the irony is, I think Newsweek was one of the publications that wrote about you as well and used your quotes, but yet they still went with that headline when they tried to write their sort of straight news piece. Because they're all just so afraid of Trump. They're all so afraid of this administration. They want to try to act like, oh, look, we're, we're, we're playing the straight. We're playing this down the middle. But these aren't down the midd. And for Tillis and Cornyn to fold like this, Speaking of, what was Donald Trump's stupid phrase? Fold like an umbrella. Speaking of folding like an umbrella, y' all have zero. Like, there's nothing even holding you to this man anymore, I guess, other than his rabid followers. But you have no future career in politics right now in your jobs. You have nothing to no, no reason to give Donald Trump any favors, no reason to do anything. He screwed you over. He essentially ruined your life. And you are going to come up with this ridiculous theater in order to get to this endpoint that was clearly predetermined from the get go. I'm happy that we at least called this BS out. You know, on the previous week's show, acknowledging that these people were likely ultimately going to come around regardless. And I remember, Ben, weeks and weeks ago also, you said, watch for the head fake here, because the thing that Donald Trump really wants out of this is that a. For the taxes. And the $1.776 billion weaponization fund is a little bit of the distraction there. It's the dangling of the keys to get people focused on this other incredibly heinous thing that he's doing. But while he's giving away that $1.776 billion to Insurrectionist, to fraudsters, to cop eaters, while he's doing that, he is absolving himself of having to pay billions and billions and billions of dollars in taxes. And he's protecting himself and his crimes. And that really is what Donald Trump wanted at the end of the day. And that's what Tillis and Cornyn gave him. And I'm sick of these people, whether it's Tillis or Cornyn or whether it's somebody like a Susan Collins in Maine or whether it's. Who's the guy who voted for rfk? His name slipped in my mind for a second here. But all these people who act like they are so concerned, and I'm not sure I could let this guy. I'm not sure I could let this person his position because it's so dangerous, and then they make some BS agreement in order to get to that end result, and then they have to act, like, horrified when all the bad things that happen, happen that everybody told them is going to happen. Like, we will likely see this weaponization fund because it's not really a way we'll likely see this come back. We're going to see Donald Trump obviously, use this now to try to protect himself from all these various potential financial crimes in the future. We're going to see his sons, his. His entire family. This is the most corrupt imaginable, and it is quite literally, in my opinion, the biggest fraud perpetrated on the American people, bar none. And the fact that these people could even get through a sentence saying that they're targeting fraud and getting J.D. vance out there. We're coming after the fraudsters when the biggest fraud, like, in the history of the world is happening in that very building. What an affront to our intelligence. And I still cannot even fathom how any of these people, any of these MAGA people who are making mere fractions of what these people make in a second, are defending these people for stealing their money and giving it to their family members and friends. It's obscene.
Ryan Reynolds
The whole thing is absolutely. It's my biggest issue with politics in 2026, quite frankly. You know, like, say what you want about the Democrats. You know, obviously there's stuff to go around there. These Republicans have no spine. Zero spine. They would rather let Donald Trump get away with every single grift imaginable than stand up and actually have a backbone. There is not a person in the Republican Party, in my opinion, that actually wants to help their constituents. All they want to do is bend over backwards to appease their dear leader, Donald Trump. It is pathetic and it is the absolute worst of this country. It really, really is. These people don't care about. About health care, these Republicans, they don't care about affordability. They don't care about finding houses that people can actually afford in this country. All they care about is that when they leave office, in this case with Cornyn and Tillis here, that they still get to be a part of the cult, that they still get to join the fun, right? Their own weird MAGA cult fun. It's bizarre and it's disgusting. And so it's. To me, it's obvious that they just needed something on paper. They needed something that they could go and that they could sleep at night and be like, oh, look, no, look, Blanche did that. And that's a document. And, and I know corporate media, they're going to look at that document and it's going to be signed by Blanche and they're going to say, he did everything. And so I'm going to say it's a win for me. And this way Donald Trump won't be mean tweeting at me at mean posting about me and my. And then I get invited to the cocktail parties. Oh, my constituents, I don't give a fuck.
Commercial Voice
I don't.
Brett Jordan
I don't really care about them.
Ryan Reynolds
This is for me to save face. And that is just so disgusting to me at such a core value of this country.
Benji
Well, by the way, this is why Donald Trump is so perplexed by Iran and so perplexed by Canada and so perplexed by Greenland. Right? And so perplexed by E. Jean Carroll and a Brago Garcia. Right? And even like a David Hearn or people who just stand up to him and say, no, no, no. Why these MAGA Republicans have functioned in a more subservient way than the Russian Duma is like the craziest thing. You are a damn branch of the United States government. How you behave, again, more of a cult than Jim Jones Kool Aid drinking people is not a political point to me. But that's why when you say no and you're forceful with him and you push back, he's like, oh, oh, we're doing fake deals. Oh, they want to talk to me. Oh, oh, they're doing fake. You know, it shows you when you stand up to the guy and you fight back. He is a pathetic loser his whole life. Remember when he was sitting on the bed? The photo of him when he's a loser. This guy was a loser in middle school, a loser in high school, a loser in college, a loser in life. He's a loser. And all he. I huff and I puff and I blow your house down and I'm threatening you and. Okay. Sit for a deposition. Oh, I can't do that. I can't do that. I don't want to sit for a deposition. You sued me for $10 billion. Sit for a deposition. Shut up. Sit for a deposition. Show up and testify. Oh, I don't want to do that. Can we delay?
Commercial Voice
Delay.
Benji
I don't want to do it. You brought the case. Sit for a. Sit and sit. Testify. What are you doing? Sit and testify. Okay, I'm going to blow the f. I'm going to blow the F and S out of this, is what he says. I'm not going to even do the curse. By the way, when. When I speak like him, it sometimes gets flagged on YouTube. Just think about that. Me quoting the President of the United States sometimes can get flagged on YouTube to harm the ability of the algorithm because of the way the President of the United States speaks and directly quoting. I'm going to blow the effing s out of them. Okay, you've said that a hundred times. No one wants you to do that. Are you going to do it or are you not going? I mean, they're doing a deal with me, and Iran's just like, really? This is what the United States has become?
Brett Jordan
Really?
Benji
How pathetic is this?
Brett Jordan
What?
Benji
And by the way, that's what they think about us in the Middle East. That's what our allies or former allies think about us. How utterly pathetic can you be? By the way you look at a headline like this? Fine print. This is a raw story. This is actually one of the better stories. But here's how they reported it. Fine print shows Blanche tried to sneak through overnight scam to shield Trump report. By the way, it ain't even the fine print. It is the print. It is the main print. If you look at what he submitted, it is a press release. It's not a rescission of a settlement agreement. It says, department of justice rescinds anti Weaponization. Or it's the first sentence. It's the title. Department of justice rescinds Anti weaponization order and addresses the May 19th release. I'd like to believe that I'm a good lawyer who can analyze into the weeds and get into the fine print. This isn't the, this is the print addresses the May 19 release. And when they address it, they say that they're affirming the existence of it, that they are good with it.
Ryan Reynolds
Okay.
Benji
And also it's not a rescission of the settlement agreement. You are rescinding an order that you can just bring back immediately anyway. And that's a press release. And then the order is only signed by Blanche. I mean, it actually doesn't require a great deal of legal analysis to call the red flags out on, you know, this thing. But here's the broader context. Connect this to everything that's happening right while Donald Trump is out there threatening to blow the S out of Iran and then makes up these fake deals in his mind, what is he doing on his social media thing? His social media company while he's making all of these deranged posts, he's selling Access $100,000 to Wall street firms to get inside trading his information based on early access to his posts in order to manipulate the market. It's happening right out there. This is, this isn't some idea hypothetical. This is what Trump's social media company is doing. Look at the filing from Capital One, right? Trump sued all of these banks and say you debanked me. It was so unfair that you debanked me. Well, in a court filing, Capital One said we have anti money laundering detection. And the reason that there was a so called debanking is that the necessary compliance triggers for potential money laundering compliance issues were triggered and that automatically makes us flag an account and debank them. Whether it was the Trump organization or whatever the organization is, you engage in X behavior, that becomes the result. That's it. That's not a Democrat or a Republican or an independent thing. It is an objective criteria thing. Now, Brett and Jordy, I want to get back to you. I want to talk about that point. We've got to take our first quick break of the show. We'll come back and we'll get into that. We'll get into the other developments of the day as well. We'll get into Trump likely firing Pirro, which could happen, frankly any moment now. I wouldn't be surprised if it even happens while we're live or tomorrow morning that she'll announce she's going back to Fox, everybody. But let's take a quick break right now. I don't mind scooping my cat's litter box anymore. Honestly, ever since I started feeding my cats Smalls, their poop has been healthier, smaller and a lot less smelly. That's because Smalls is fresh human grade cat food that's made from high quality meat, not cheap fillers. You see, meat is easy for my cats to digest which means their bodies absorb more nutrients and healthier poops come out of their rear end. In contrast, the stuff I used to feed my cat was made with grains and artificial ingredients that were hard on my cat's body. And their nasty poops were proof of that. And Smalls isn't just good for digestion. 88% of cat parents say that after feeding their cats Smalls, their cats have a softer and shinier fur coat and just have all around more energy to play. Also, overall, they just seem healthier because it's really good for cats. If you want to invest in your cat's health, Smalls is giving you 60% off your cat's first order plus free shipping and free treats for life when you go to smalls.com midas if your cat doesn't like it, Smalls will refund 100% of your order. But trust me, your cat's gonna love the taste of Smalls and you'll love that your house no longer smells like a litter box all the time. That's 60 off plus free shipping and free treats for life when you go to smalls.com midas let's go. Shout out to our sponsors links in description of both the YouTube and the audio. Brett, I think you were about to react well.
Brett Jordan
Yeah, well, you know, first I'll say I've seen a lot of people asking is Midas Touch pay the $100,000 to Trump Media to get the content first because we have to know exactly what Donald Trump is saying when he says it. I want to let everybody know. I know how much you want to get this, these hot posts, you know, right to you. But we're going to have to pass on this one, folks. I'm sorry. Like this post from Donald Trump where he posts an AI image of himself as a child and him now and says, same guy, even more energy now. That's what $100,000 gets you. You get that post first. So I just want to let you know we're not going to be doing that. But then in all seriousness, I want to say, say the, the scam that we're seeing here is the same scam that we've seen play out throughout the years. It's the Same story every single time. And you could go back to the election. Lies. Donald Trump goes out there, spouts these election lies. Stolen election, stolen election, stolen election. They get in the courtroom, what happens? They lose dozens and dozens of cases because they actually don't have any evidence. All the things that Donald Trump is ranting about online are not true. They're all lies. They have nothing to actually present in a court of law. He says the reflecting pool is destroyed. It's destroyed. The vandals did it. The vandals antifa this, that. We got to put up fences. We got to have the National Guard watching it. What happens? They get into a courtroom and they have to, have to actually explain themselves. Suddenly the story changes. Suddenly it's, oh, we actually don't have the proof. And oh, by the way, it turns out we lied to the grand jury to secure this indictment. Like so incredibly, so incredibly criminal. You go to the Capitol, one thing, you know, this was such a big thing that these kind of MAGA people kept pushing. They debanked Donald Trump. How could they debunk Donald Trump? Sure enough, this is going through the courts right now. And what do we find out? Did they debunk Donald Trump because of his conservative viewpoints? First off, they're not even frickin conservative things that he has. But no, they debanked him because his account was flagged for potential money laundering. And so you see the pattern here. And what is also the kind of broader pattern? What are they covering up? They're covering up for their own crimes. And that's what we're seeing over and over again. Ways that they can deflect by stealing from the public, by making billions and billions of dollars for themselves and their buddies, while they then blame the fake news media or they blame this person or that person. It's like I said earlier, this is the biggest scam that we have ever witnessed perpetrated, not only on the American people, I'll expand it, but on the entire world.
Ryan Reynolds
Brett, can you bring back up that photo really quickly that you just had of Trump? So this is the biggest cell phone that I think I've ever seen. So Donald Trump, for the audio listeners, he posted some sort of photo him on True Social. It's a modern day Donald Trump staring affectionately at Donald Trump's younger self from military school, saying, same guy, even more energy now. The same guy. That's a photo from Donald Trump when he was in military school. The common thought is he was put in military school because he was such a bad student and bad individual that he needed to be sent away to correct his behavior. So the fact that he's posting that as if he's looking at it affectionately. Same guy. Yeah, yeah, no, Donald, we know that's the same guy. That that's part of the issue. There was no growth to your arc here. You are the same putts that you were back when you were 16 and 17 also. It just feels like a stolen valor type of thing. Like he pretends that he's like a veteran, that he was like, like this great milled, like because in the photo he's got, he's got these like metals sort of on his uniform or whatnot. I don't know what they technically signifier, but Donald Trump is trying to convince the American people that these are like medals from war, that this is like he's some war hero. That he's not.
Brett Jordan
That he went to boarding school because his parents thought he was a piece of.
Ryan Reynolds
Exactly.
Brett Jordan
Other things that we may have heard through the grapevine.
Ryan Reynolds
It is really, really next level stuff. And just commenting quickly on the Jeanine Pirro situation. I mean, doesn't it really feel like she's the dog who caught the car, that she had this real cushiony job at Fox News paying her her millions of dollars a year. She had a prime time slot, all accounts like crushing it if you want to be like a media figure for that type of content. And then because of her relationship with Donald Trump, she gets put in this position where she really actually has to act and she really actually has to now put things in like legal writings and put her name behind it. And what do they always do? What does Fox and these MAGA folks always do do? They'll get in front of the camera every time and spout whatever lie they want. But the second, the second they actually have to put their name behind something and say it with their chest in a legal court document, they bail. They bail and then they rely on the actual facts of the case because they don't want to get sued.
Brett Jordan
And Jordan, I want to remind you that she, a lot of these people were serious people.
Commercial Voice
Yeah.
Brett Jordan
Back in the day. And like I almost like you almost want to track like, like the zombification or whatever you want to call it of these people. Like, how did these people develop such brain worms to the point where they were actually serious people who had very important jobs to just being complete and other clowns and pawns of Donald Trump. And she is one of them. I think she was the DA of West Westchester county back in the Day. Janine Pirro, like, that's a serious job. And then it makes you kind of think, like, okay, so we're all of, like, now, like, like anyone who got prosecuted under Jeanine Pirro back in the day, like, does that have to be looked in a different lens or, or was she changed by this whole MAGA thing? Even, like a Maria Bartiromo who, like, you watch on Fox Business now and you're like, who is this crazy person? This is a crazy individual. Like, she used to be like, like the serious business host. Like a business, like. And, and just to see the soul kind of get sucked out of these people and then to become like these, I think zombies is kind of the best way, Way to put it.
Commercial Voice
Right.
Brett Jordan
It's a bizarre trajectory and thing to want to throw away your life.
Ryan Reynolds
Like, look, don't talk about Maria like that. You're talking about the next head of the Fed. Fed chair right after Kevin Warsh sort of wraps up and gets canceled by you. That, that, that's the, I mean, that we have our. Anything is possible under this regime. I think real quick, Sorry, Ben. Tossing it back to you. It's the money. I, I think the money for them gets so big, it corrupts their brains in such an evil way where they truly stop caring about why they got into these positions of, of, of stature and, like, actually wanted to do good work in the first place. And then they're like, oh, I could just make a quick buck doing this instead. I'm gonna go all in on, on that route. For me, I, I believe that's the case. And that's why you see it so often in this society.
Benji
Yeah, well, this fake world, it becomes a safe place for them that has its own language, its own characters, its own storylines and plots and all of these things. And it ultimately all revolves around Donald Trump. It's typical kind of cult behavior, but it's not reality. It doesn't exist. And when it clashes with reality, sometimes in a courtroom where the rules of evidence apply, right. Where admissible evidence and jurors and judges have to referee evidence. Right. And then it clashes against reality sometimes where internationally, another country doesn't want to play the game, they don't want to exist in that reality. Sometimes they do. Delsey Rodriguez in Venezuela, part of the Chavista rise, the Maduro regime, for her, playing along with Trump's fake reality was something that she was okay with. I mean, she was an authoritarian who was willing to submit the sovereignty over there. But when Donald Trump's fake reality clashes with Canada's sovereignty or Greenland sovereignty and Denmark sovereignty. Right. When Trump's behavior clashes with a country like Iran that is not motivated by fraudulent transactional promises by Donald Trump, but are rooted in history of thousand year civilization, he's not equipped to deal with it. And you see the kind of clash, I almost think sometimes I don't even know if they're real. But you know, sometimes that image where the two bodies of water meet and it almost looks like they're two completely different, like colors and like the Atlantic and Pacific meet, you know what I mean? Like at some point, you know, you have this situation where this fake reality juts up against the actual reality. And you know, in the past leadership, the quality of leaders in the United States were. And our institutions were able to hold up and swat gnats like Trump down. Right? I mean, Trump's entire life was always wanting to, you know, show that he knew what he was doing. And a lot of the institutions were like, you know, you're frauding. You know, I think about some of these early hearings where Trump would want to put his casinos on tribal lands, indigenous lands, Right. I remember one of these hearings too, where you would see the lawmaker kind of cross examining Trump about being racist and Trump's response. And, you know, people would stand up to him and stand up to him. You know, the one evil superpower that he has, you know, is that. And it's, it's a little, there's a few of them, but the fraud, the fire hose of it is relentless. He doesn't stop. And it just constant, constant, constant, constant, constant. Where then some people like, all right, what do you, what are you trying to do here? I mean, just again, look at Iran, look at Iran. Look at what he did there and what he's doing there and think about trying to do that on a human being, right? You have Iran, a civilization of a thousand years, you know, and you see them fighting back, you know, and one fighting back, literally, but also fighting back against what Trump is bombarding them with from an information disinformation campaign. Ooh, just like lying. The President spoke to me, the Foreign minister spoke to me, this person talked to me, that person. They want to do a deal. They want to do, you know, and it's non stop. And Trump will put the United States through the ultimate humiliation ritual and won't stop. Where you're just thinking like, man, is this person like a psychotic? Like, he's like a psychotic. You. But what are you doing? What are you talking. You're doing Fake conversations with yourself. Yeah, dude, this is the guy in the 80s who made up his own publicist and would call people on behalf of himself and would change his voice, but would kind of do it in his voice. So you knew it was him. He's a psycho. Like, he's literally like a psycho. I'm calling on behalf of Donald Trump. It's like John Barron calling on behalf of Donald Trump.
Ryan Reynolds
Like.
Benji
Like he's doing that stuff right now at this. At this level. And think about it. If he does this in, you know, Iran, you know, think about what it took for Abrego Garcia to stand up to him or Eugene Carroll to stand up to him or any of these very courageous people who have stood up for. I mean, look. Look at state regime media earlier today. And this is Trey Yings. This is what they did a whole segment on this today. And this is breaking. This is Fox breaking. And by the way, even though their regime media, CBS is regime media, Axios is regime, all these regime media, even the ones that are adjacent regime media, which to me is the rest of corporate news, they all look like this. Like, even though I'm going to show you Fox, they all look like this. And so breaking, Trump says right after that this story should end. Trump's. Trump's a liar. What Trump says doesn't matter. Trump's a fricking liar. Psycho. So what this scumbag says after Trump says is like, okay, what, what, what? Tell me, what's Trump. Oh, he's doing another deal with Iran. Iran called him and they begged him for a deal. And this time it's going to be real. Okay, what else.
Donald Trump
Else.
Benji
What else did. What else did they tell you, Donald? Like, for real, though, this is what we would expect. Someone with an involuntary 5150 all. What else were they telling you, Donald? What else were they. Oh, oh, really? And it's like, this is the United States of America right now. This is. This is our country. And again, in the rest of the world that doesn't live in this, they're looking at this like, man, y' all are really crazy. Like, y', all, like, y' all are like, think about regimes that we used to grow up with and think are like, you know, you know, it was like North Korea, Taliban, you know, like, the US Is on a whole new level of like, some crazy, dysfunctional, sick thing. Like, look, look at Fox right here. Let's play this.
News Anchor
President Trump calling off planned strikes against Iran as he says a deal is close. According to the president, talks will Resume today, aimed at finalizing an agreement on the Strait of Hormuz. Trump says he was asked by Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia to hold off as diplomatic efforts play out.
Donald Trump
We had an attack that would be the biggest attack since World War II, and it would have been disastrous, and they didn't want us to do it, and frankly, so do you. Gravy didn't want it either. He thought that the deal is imminent.
News Anchor
Overnight, Iran's president, Masoud Pozesskian, posted to X about the memorandum of understanding that was reached earlier this year, saying, in part, I believe this memorandum will be the center of gravity for our foreign relations in the future. We must strive to compel the enemy to remain committed to what it has signed. The security of the country, the region.
Benji
And now, the way they even tried to frame the president of Iran, what he said, they almost made it try to appear without the audience understanding what was going on, as though that was affirming what Trump was saying. Did you notice that? What they were saying, the President of Iran said, is that we did a deal with you called the mou, which you breached. We're not having discussions with you unless you agree to what you agreed to previously in the MoU, which before the MoU, Iran was saying the same things back in March. Sure, it was codified in an mou, but when Trump did the unilateral ceasefire, you know, whenever it was 40 days into it, when Trump said, I'm gonna blow up the bridges and destroy your civilization, set a deadline, and then on his own said, okay, I'm agreeing to a ceasefire that Iran wasn't even offering. And then Trump just retweeted or reposted Foreign Minister Iraqi's points. This is what I'm agreeing to. And then they sent people to Pakistan, and then they didn't agree to it. And they dragged this out. And they did the mou and they dragged this out, we've been saying the whole thing, time. Trump can't do deals. But the way they were framing this was that as though Iran was, you know, in agreement. This is what it be like. Remember when Belgium beat the United States in the World Cup 4 to 1. Imagine if while that was going on, while Belgium was up 4 to 1, the announcers were like, and the United States just scored again.
News Anchor
Go.
Benji
And it's like, what do you. And they scored again. It's now four, three. I'm like, yeah, I'm watching the game. It's four to one, Belgium. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. They're about to score go four to four. Okay. And wait, wait, wait, wait. The U.S. five to four. We just took the lead. Guys, you're not describing what's happening. The U.S. is losing 4 to 1 and, and Belgium has surrendered. They have disqualified themselves from the match. The United States has gone on to win the game and it's like they lost the game. What are you, to, what world are you talking about? Like my segue there to talk about Gianni Infantino, but Brett Jordy, that's like you, that, that, that's what's going on. You know, you, you're literally. What are you doing? What do you. What. What is going on? Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz. The Houthis have a pretty strong grip on the Red Sea and the Babel Mandab. It's why Saudi has to. Saudi Arabia has to send a lot of its tankers now in a new route. That's why Saudi Arabia told Donald Trump, through both MBS and mbs, his brother, you can't do this strike. You have Iran speaking to Oman, not the United States, about Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz. And Trump is out there pretending he's doing deals with Iran. And he's done this now 10, 20, 30, 50, like 60 times. Like, where it's like. And this right here is. It's hard to even articulate the level of embarrassment and shame. The shame to America. Honestly, this is so shameful that this is the behavior. It's sick. It's like real. It's like, it's, it's like gross. That like we have to be now a part of like a Trump Organization, which are all failures. Like, I don't want to be a part of the Trump Organization, by the way. Find me some other competent fricking people out there, you know, who at least behave like grownups. Like, it's that basic to me. Brett Jordan.
Brett Jordan
And you look at all the data and it looks like a Trump business. When you look at the yields reaching like record highs, when you're looking at just everything that's coming in, it's, it's
Benji
a disaster point on that too. I want people to understand that the 30 year yield is like 5.2%. The 10 year yield is approaching 5%. That means that the payments that have to be made to simply service the debt by the United States is trillions and trillions of dollars, which will increase the debt dramatically. Ultimately, all of that means the mortgage rates will start hitting 7%, 8% and continue to go up. The reason the United States had to bail out the Japanese yen is because they're the biggest holders of our treasury bonds funds and because they keep trying to bail out their yen, which is causing the yen to. Which, by the way, is not actually working. The US had to give billions and billions of dollars. We sold Euros to bail out the yen so that the Japanese would not sell U.S. treasury bonds, which would cause the yields to go up even higher right now. And that creates massive instability. I just want people to know the context. There.
Ryan Reynolds
There.
Brett Jordan
Yeah.
Benji
With.
Brett Jordan
With the yen situation, it almost feels like the entire global economy right now is being held together, like, with Scotch tape or something. And, and the Trump regime continues to break things over and over again. And then they try to Scotch tape over it and then hope it lasts long enough so that they could put Scotch tape on the next issue before that becomes a bigger issue. And then they rinse and repeat. That's what we're seeing every time. And I also wanted to emphasize that Donald Trump's comments right there, because he says this so flippantly, and he's said it now at least a handful of times in various social media posts, and you heard him say it out loud there, but he said, I had an attack planned that was the biggest since World War II. I just want to emphasize, like, he's clearly talking about nuclear war. He's clearly talking about dropping an atomic bomb or a hydrogen bomb or, or something like that. That's at least what his threat is when he says things like this. And, you know, at this point, you never know. I mean, your. Your default is just don't believe anything he says because he lies about everything. But you also know that he's an unhinged mania. Very well do something like that. And that's a very. A frightening thought. But it just brings us back to this Groundhog Day loop where Donald Trump says, I'm escalating. You know, we're about to have the biggest bombing campaign ever. And then all of a sudden, oh, Saudi Arabia and Iran and this country, they all begged me, they said, please, sir, don't do it. Please, sir, let's find a deal. And we've been going through this now for months and months and months. And we know from reporting and from just seeing what's going on that Donald Trump is growing increasingly stressed behind the scenes, increasingly panicked over the situation behind the scenes, that our generals and our admirals are kind of a little bit freaked out right now about what's going on, because they saw the reality of what's going on with the lack of munitions and interceptors that we have, it's just a constant dwindling supply. Iran essentially knows that they just have to kind of try to wait this thing out as long as possible. And it's really hard to fathom, like, what is, is what is a deal even look like here. And I think to the Iranian president's point, the deal looks like what we actually, what I actually achieved in Switzerland with the mou, like, that's, that's probably going to be the best we got at this point. Like, and, and we talked about that agreement a lot. Right. We even said, you know, good on them for at least getting a document. Yes, it's horrific for the United States, but I'd rather no war than a stupid war. And, and when you lose a war, you got to give up certain things. And it seemed like a fair compromise ult, considering everything that's happened, but they couldn't even abide by their own word there. And Trump continues to make up all these different scenarios and what the Iranians are saying, and then he projects back at them what he's doing, and he goes, oh, they can't be trusted. They're constantly changing their points. Nobody knows what they want. It's like, again, that's. That's you, man. That's you. Like, what, what's the, what's the plan here? We're just going to be here forever? Like, oh, we don't have a plan. That's right.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, yeah. Be there for forever. I. Then that MOU is, is really the starting point for president to start to go off of and then get blamed for how bad that MOU is. I mean, that's where we are. Donald Trump, I want to say this really plainly here. He's the world's worst businessman. Like, we've talked about this. I'm not saying this is part of the business of it, but I'm saying he's the world's worst businessman. This man has bankrupted casinos, he has Trump stakes, these Trump airlines, all of these flops after flops. He's not some great businessman that the Apprentice tries to make him out to be or, or how people like to talk about him. And I mean, oh, he's a good businessman, though. No, he's not. He had daddy's money and daddy's lawyers, and then he was able to bully all of his contractors while he was in business or anyone that he was doing business with because he simply had more money and power than they did. That was the dynamic that Trump used to take to his business dealing. Just ask anyone in New York City, whoever did any sort of work from him over there. It's absolutely pathetic when people say he's this great businessman. Now, where we see ourselves is a negotiation. Now, the negotiation, a little bit of a higher stake, right? We have U.S. troops dying. We have the economy here in the, in the United States being impacted based on the oil prices and everything going on over there with this war of choice by Donald Trump. And Donald Trump has not gotten us any closer to actually getting out. There is no there. There's no if, ands, or buts about it. We are stuck here because Donald Trump is such a maniac. And I've said this before on the podcast, that the only way I could really see, see, like, this ending, and I don't say this sarcastically, and I don't say this lightly, had been if Donald Trump just like, like, nukes them like that, that. That feels like the stage where Donald Trump wants to. To take this thing. And it's no wonder why these military, military leaders behind the scenes are starting to get really, you know, like, stressed and concerned about Donald Trump's escalating stress and his panicking behavior and him having no clear idea of how to actually get out. The reality is, from my perspective, based off all the data that we see, this will not end under Donald Trump's presidency. We are nowhere near close to ending this thing as we were three months ago, four months ago. This will continue to go on in this cycle because Donald Trump cannot actually negotiate. He has no skill. He has no tact. What he does have is the United States army and a lot of weapons behind him where he could cause serious damage. And a lot of people, people around him that have become yes men and folks in the military. That is very scary to me, that we need real accountable folks behind the scenes to make sure that Donald Trump does not do something that we cannot undo. And that, to me, as a someone who loves this country, is very concerning.
Benji
Well, look, he certainly very loosely kind of talks about nuclear weapons, right? When he says it's going to be the biggest attack since we did, since World War II. I mean, he's talking about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Like, that's what his implication is, that we were going to do something like that, which is a real sick thing to say. But, Jordi, you bring up an important point which is, and this is what we talk about in WTF America also, is that what we have to recognize is this loop that we need to get out of. And it's not Just a one election loop in order to deal with because we can keep going back to the arsonist and then the firefighter, and then the arsonist blames the firefighter and then the arsonist comes back. Right? I mean, what Trump is preparing to do and what MAGA is preparing to do is now dump this mess that they've created. Brett, as you said, kind of scotch taped together economy, all these different things are broken. But Donald Trump personally has made a killing in a small group of right wing oligarchs, had made enough money for infinite generations of their family while the American people suffered. So they got theirs while everybody else didn't. And they lead us further and further down this path of devastation where someone and it's current, it's not like necessarily future, it's right now. Most Americans feel and there's a reason why consumer confidence is at an all time low just historically. But someone has to deal with this. And if you deal with it responsibly and if you remove the bandage or if you acknowledge that Trump has not given the medicine, he's been giving the placebo, he's been giving the water pill, not the medicine to try to make his people feel good, to manipulate the market, and then you actually have to diagnose the sickness. That means you have to recognize the sickness sick. And when you recognize the sick, like Biden had to recognize the sick, what happens? There's a reason why the inflation was what it was. There was a reason why the gas prices were what they were. There was a reason why those first two and a half, three years weren't easy. Because surgery isn't easy. Open heart surgery isn't easy. Now doing that in the context of fixing what Trump broke the first time, doing that type of surgery is not easy. You know what's easy? Oh, we're gonna be amazing. Everything's great. Don't you worry. I brought in 19 trillion. It's amazing. Look at my hands. Be hypnotized by my hands. I did 19 trillion. Things are the greatest we've ever been richer. We've never been more powerful. I'm gonna do. That's easy. That's easy. Oh, it's this country that did it.
Donald Trump
They did it.
Benji
It's their fault. Their fault. Democrats, them. Easy. That's it. That, that, that, that's a con artist doing that.
Ryan Reynolds
Okay.
Benji
Actually now addressing how do you fix the bond yields? How do you fix the broken economy? How do you deal with this? One of the things that I saw in a Bank of America report, they're like the way Kevin Warsh has been handling his very short tenure thus far as the Fed chair has been what we used to see in emerging markets, corrupt emerging markets. On the one hand, war spoke all hawkish a few weeks back about how he was going to need to probably raise interest rates. But then when he probably needed to, during the last time the interest rates came up, he didn't push for that. And that's increasing the interest rates will have a very harmful effect on the market. It will have a harmful effect on people, but it may address inflation. And that ain't easy to do. That's a hard thing to do, but it may be what's needed in order to treat the sick, the sick country that we have. How, how are you going to deal with Iran? A future president may actually have to recognize we lost the war, which we did. So what do you have to do? You may have to give Iran control over the Strait of Hormuz because they won the war. And doing a catastrophic, you know, there's a new dynamic. And then what? It's easy for you to be like, ah, look, you're weak. You're pathetic. You're a weak, pathetic person. You're a loser. You let him control it. Donald Trump would never do that. We have to get out of this generational fraud cycle and the media is a major engine in it. By creating and perpetuating these gamified politics and not recognizing that this is not what I've said isn't political. Trump's a con artist, he's a fraud, he's a psycho, he's a scumbag, he's a loser. And he's caused this harm not because he's Republican, he happens to be Republican now, even whatever, and has turned the Republican Party into his cult.
Brett Jordan
But this isn't a political.
Benji
I'm rooting for Democrats or Independent. It's just, this is broken. He broke it. They're covering up a child sex trafficking ring. Trump is making billions of dollars. He's doing 21,000 stock trades. He's waiving tax liability. I'm not even making a political argument. I'm making a basic, basic argument about life that that shouldn't be taking place. That's all. And we have to get out of this loop. So when the next person, you know, takes over and they want to fix it, what are the Republicans going to do? Oh, you screwed it up. Donald Trump was going to fix it. Everything was going to be amazing. Remember we said we were going to have 6% GDP growth, but then you all screwed it up. No, you had a chance. We're two years in. You've promised us 4%, 6% GDP growth, growth that electricity prices would be cut in half. And now what?
Brett Jordan
The same thing.
Benji
It was all going good until Covid hit. And then Dr. Fauci screwed it up, right? It was all going really good. But then I had to take my detour in Iran. It was all going perfect. Then I had to take my detour. And then the Democrats won the midterms. The Democrats did it and then it all derailed. But those first two years, it was the golden age. No, it wasn't. The first years of Trump were in a golden age. And guess what? Covid's on you, buddy. Covid's on you. The catastrophic war is on you and Netanyahu, buddy. That's who did it. Anyway, let's take our last quick break of the show. A reminder. Hit subscribe. Let's get to 7 million subscribers. That's why this WTF America book that we wrote, it's a big piece. It's not a election piece. It's not a vote this party piece. It's not even a Donald Trump piece. Although we certainly call him out out a lot in this book. It is. Let's get out of this loop. Let's get out of this constant back and forth. Let's get into a an era of generational change. That's the purpose of WTF America. What are we doing and how do we get out of it? Pre order it now. Put in the comments that you pre order now. We'll come back, we'll talk more about Piro, we'll talk about Infantino, we'll talk about the bootlickers getting their just desserts. Benji, where to next?
Benji
And Brett look. And Jordy look. And Midas mighty look. The person who bankrupted casinos has bankrupted our military. Right, Trump. Like I rebuilt it.
News Anchor
I built it.
Benji
I did. I was the one who built it. No, you didn't. He's the one who breaks it. Just take what he says. And it's the opposite like every single time. Time, right? We're out of Patriot interceptors. We're out of Thaad interceptors. We're out of Navy destroyers which have these anti ballistics on them as well. Okay? We've abandoned our bases in the Middle East. Like you all realize that, right? Like we've abandoned our bases in like Bahrain and Qatar, Al ud, the fifth Fleet in Bahrain, our bases in Kuwait. And we've moved our troops and we've moved the remaining equipment that hasn't been destroyed by Iran has been moved to Israel because the Iron Dome still exists in Israel. But guess what? Doesn't work. The Arab Dome doesn't work. But the Iron Dome is still working. So some people like, well, why isn't Iran hit Israel? Well, because Iran has a strategy and they're like, why would we bring in Israel into this? Right now they have an Iron Dome that actually works. We want to show the Arab nations that the United States has played you and that they went into this war with Israel and Netanyahu without telling you. And Israel's system works, but yours doesn't. All those billions of dollars you've paid for it, all of the quid pro quo deals you did with Donald Trump. And that's why Trump then has to go to the UAE and say, okay, okay, okay, you want some of our Blackwell chips? We've got the most highly classified semiconductors uae because the security umbrella failed. So Trump's got to give them something which has second and third level consequences. Because they just take the Black Whale chip and guess what they do with it? They give it to China, Saudi Arabia. We're going to give you the ability to do nuclear power plants. Then there's some outrage there. Here in the United States. Wait a minute, you're going to give them nuclear power plants? Can't they just enrich it? No, no. No enrichment. No, look at my hands get hypnotized. No enrichment. Well, what are you talking about? That's the way nuclear power plants work. Except small numbers in Canada which don't have enriched for civilian purposes. But you're gonna have to enrich it. So the question is, weapons grade or non weapons grade? Well, actually, Saudi. I'm not sure why I did that voice, but Saudi Arabia, then. You need to do the Abraham Accord. You need to do the Abraham Accords with Israel if you want the nuclear power plant.
Brett Jordan
Sorry about it. We're not.
Benji
We're not doing that. What are you talking about? We're not going to do the Abraham Accords. You want the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to topple. They've made it clear they're not going to do it. But. So he's scrambling. He doesn't understand any of the geopolitical, you know, dynamic that's taking place. He's making things. But the real situation is that we're out of Interceptors. And then back in Turkey during NATO summit, he sat there with Zelensky and he said, I'm going to. He acted like Zelensky is, like, burdening him with all of these requests for Interceptors. He's like, I'm going to give you. I'm going to give him. We're doing a deal is what Trump said. I'm doing a deal. We're going to give Zelensky the Interceptor license. Because this way you're not going to bug me about, you know, not giving you Interceptors. Okay.
Brett Jordan
Okay.
Benji
Then Zelensky went to Washington last week, which may as well felt like 2025, you know, in this news cycle. But that was early last week, right? The same time it was Lindsey Graham's funeral, which was also somehow last last
Brett Jordan
week, you know, which again, feels like
Benji
weeks ago and months ago or whatever. But what did Donald Trump promise then as well? Trump promised that he was going to once again give the Patriots and give the Interceptor licenses. And did he do it? No, he didn't. He lied to Zelinsky about that as well. And then last week it came out. I'm not giving you the Interceptors. Why are you not giving the Interceptors? Because this is what he said on Friday at Camp Daniel, because they may use it against us. That's why we don't give the Nvidia chips. Just think about it. It's a highly. Yes, you did. You gave the Nvidia chip to uae, and you didn't give the black belt to China, but you gave their next highest level one. Like, what are you doing, you psycho? Quite literally, what the hell are you doing? And so this is the reality of what exists right now. Now, you may not like the reality, but it's not a Democratic reality or a Republican reality or an independent reality. The reality is, is that just as he's bankrupted Everything he's touched or most of the things he's touched, that's what's happening with our military right now. And what's ultimately going to happen in the Middle east, which future presidents are going to have to deal with, is that China will be the main actor in the Middle East. You know, the whole idea of the petrodollar that's gonna be shot, the dollar's value, by the way, is going to be in significant decline. People are gonna buy less US Treasuries. The yields are gonna continue to go up. That puts us in a constant cycle of debt that ultimately makes it very harder for affordability. Does this wanna talk about real trickle down? It ain't rich people giving stuff and giving their money. To most Americans, it's the opposite. It's trickling down. The pain is what actually is really happening. And again, when you have Donald Trump out there willing to prosecute a two time Olympic canoeist and blame him as being a reflecting pool vandal, there's no depths to the depravity when that's the depths to which you talk about reflecting pools all of the time. So before we went live, you had Donald Trump saying, Jeanine Pirro, she choked. Jeanine Pirro, she's a choke artist.
Donald Trump
Because the judge was really vicious. Instead of going after the people that did it, the judge went after her and went after her department and I guess she choked. I don't know what the hell happened.
Benji
Are you reconsidering her role?
Donald Trump
I don't know what you don't. You're fake news. Don't, don't ever talk again. You're fake news. One of the, one of the worst in the business. Fortunately, nobody watches you.
Benji
That's why, if I was the reporter,
Brett Jordan
I would just bait.
Benji
I'd probably get like arrested. I mean it's like an everybody. Like if, if I, if, if someone was like that to me, I think I'd really just be like, you know, as much as I don't curse, I think I would just like, I'd be like, you are an. I have a lot to say what I would say. But I probably, you know, that's because
Ryan Reynolds
you have a backbone, big bro. You got a backbone. All these reporters and they care so much about the access, so much to tell their mommy and daddy. I asked questions to the president today. It's okay. Stick up to yourself, man. Stick up to yourself.
Benji
Yeah, you're, you're, you're, you're fake. And you know, you could say too is, you know, that was Todd Blanche's, you know that Tod Blanche approved that, too, or was he not paying attention to that document? So then Donald Trump's like, well, now we have a big decision to make, a really big decision to make. So let me show you what Trump's big decision is, right? With everything going on right now, right? Whether it's the catastrophic war in Iran, treasury yields rising, bailing out Japan. People can't afford anything here. What's the big decision, Donald? Tell us.
Donald Trump
And I was disappointed with Jeanine Bureau. Really disappointed with Jeanine Bureau. She. She folded like an umbrella. And people get away with things and it's a disgrace. But we're very proud of Lafayette Park. Now we have a big decision to make. Do we take the pavers that are red, you know, the red brick pavers, and do we change them into a granite? It's a gray granite. They're beautiful, but they're not the original. So we're going to have to make that decision. You have a good sense of taste.
Ryan Reynolds
What would you do, by the way? Incorrectly. Incorrectly saying phrases like folded like an umbrella. I think you meant lawn chair. A sign of some mental diminishing right before your own eye.
Brett Jordan
I just, I truthfully just cannot fathom, like, how horrible of a person you have to be to be willing to try at least to send an innocent person to prison for 10 years to cover for your own failure and your own inability to get something built the
Ryan Reynolds
way you said it was an Olympian
Brett Jordan
and an a US Olympian on top. Like, it couldn't. It's a good point. Like, it couldn't be any more of, like, a parody of somebody who, like, wants to destroy the United States and just is like an evil human being. Not only is it a random person, which is bad enough, but a US Olympian is who you're doing this.
Benji
You know, in criminal justice, we talk about restorative justice, rehabilitation, right? Incarceration as a. Can you rehabilitate? And the difference, you know, this is early crim law. You kind of delve into this, like, restorative justice, rehabilitative justice versus retributive justice and punishment.
News Anchor
Right?
Benji
Punish and the balance in criminal justice systems. And there's a reason, though, why felons should be in prison, right? There's a reason why. And not to say that felons can't be rehabilitated. I think that I believe in second chances, right? You know, not all the time. I'm not really a third chance guy, but I believe in second chances. But also not all the time. It depends on Circumstances and oftentimes accepting accountability. But there's a reason why Trump should be impressed. Prison, okay? He's a criminal, you know, and so the fact that he's behaving like a criminal shouldn't surprise people that's. He's a criminal, you know, you know, it's, It's. It's like, you know, I don't need to give other examples of horrific people doing horrific things, but what do you think? You know, what do you expect? The guys of. The guy's a fraud, too. You expect the fraud guy not to be extra fraud. Could you. What do you think would happen if you put Bernie Madoff as President of the United States? Do you think Bernie Madoff would be like, well, now that I have this position, I am going, no, the guy would. The guy would, you know, engage in the Ponzi scheme even more. I think it was former President Obama who said this. But I don't think it's necessarily a unique observation that the presidency brings out your character. So if you're empathetic, you become extra empathetic. If you're panic, you become extra panic. If you're a fraud, you become an extra fraud. Like, it brings it all out, you know, and this guy's a sexual predator. He's been found civilly liable for sexual assault. Like, he's a. Like, this is a bad human. This is a. America is run by a bad human being who is also a loser who bankrupts things. A bad human being, loser, sexual predator. And that's not me being, like, hyperbolic. Like, I think those are objective facts. And so the fact that the country is behaving that way, it's like, duh. That's also why. And again, I'm not just trying to. Okay, Ben, stop plugging the book. Stop plugging the book.
Brett Jordan
It's important.
Benji
I wanted to leave it as a lasting. Like, I have conversations with myself based on what I see sometimes in the chats. But I'm proud of it, damn it, I'm proud of it. But we need to talk about moral character, and that's not happening. We need to talk about moral character. We can also talk about forgiveness. We could also talk about mistakes. We could also. We could talk about a lot. You know, it doesn't. Speaking about moral character doesn't mean, you know, you're weak. Or speaking about empathy doesn't make you weak. Quite the contrary. But that's what we should expect of leaders. So let me give you two more examples. This from the earlier Oval Office press conference. Donald Trump Claims we have photographs or tapes, like moving cameras, right? Where people are on the side cutting it with a box knife. Listen to what he says. Here, play this.
Donald Trump
Now we have photographs or tapes, like moving cameras, right? We have them where people are on the side cutting it with a box knife. So now, I'm not saying I was 100% thrilled with the contractor, but the contract contractor was rushing. We wanted to get it open for July 4th, and we got it done. But in addition, there was vandalism.
Benji
There wasn't. There wasn't. Where are the photo? You know, it's like, I've got the photographs. They show one over. The one video that they show, which he had Jesse Waters play is this overhead. By the way, there's an interesting moment that Jesse Waters today was like, why are we covering this WNBA story? Which people thought was an interesting one that he said, but he's gonna get sued by David Hearn. He's gonna get his ass sued. But it's coming from a place of. He's actually privately pissed right now, and deservedly so, honestly.
Brett Jordan
He should get sued. Pierre should get sued. Trump should get all these
Benji
behind the scenes. That's what's actually happening is that he's under a lot of pressure right now. He's got emails and messages. He knows he's going to get document preservation requests. And so it's actually coming from a place of. They were running a WNBA story, and he lost his cool. And he was like, why are we even covering these stories? Because what he was trying to articulate was, why are you having. You know, if you listen to his mom, when he. When Jesse got the job, his mom's actually a Midas fan. And Jesse's mom, you know, Jesse's mom knows that it's an act, and it's a very dangerous act that he plays. You know, he plays the character in the Hunger Games. He looks like the guy in the Hunger Games. And it almost. It makes it worse that this is like, you know, because, you know, it's equally as bad, if not worse, that this is an act by this guy, because it's all fun and games and he makes a lot of money. But then something like this happens. And just so you all know, I'm giving you my opinion, but that's what's going on behind the scenes there.
Brett Jordan
It's all of them. There are 99% of them are on an act. They all know exactly what they're doing.
Benji
They.
Brett Jordan
They discuss it in the meetings. They. They know what they want to do. They know if there's a specific issue that they could view as a wedge issue, and they want to go all in on it to try to divide this community against itself, you say, like,
Benji
the, like the mom Donnie story. They're like, mom, you need to present photo IDs at the grocery store. And by the way, I heard that so many times that I just assume, you know, like, it wasn't the main story that I was, you know, know, covering, but I heard the ecosystem, and I. And I said. I said, that's interesting.
Donald Trump
We're doing.
Benji
They're doing the IDs to make sure you're a New York City resident. How does that have to deal with people who don't have IDs? And. And then they're like, that's not true. What do you mean it's not true? None of it. What do you mean none of it's true?
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, it's just, like.
Benji
It's just the right wing talking point that they're. We don't make people use IDs to use the grocery store. And that got like, just so, you know, like, I have my guard up, but I'm so busy focused on Iran and focused on treasury yields and focused on all these stories that that one seeps through. And you even think, okay, well, who would just make that up?
Commercial Voice
Them.
Benji
They make up everything. I just wanted to point that out. And finally, Brett, I just want to show this clip that I'll toss it to you, which is. Which is this bizarre scene where Donald Trump then uses the people behind him as props, whether it's sports teams or. Or children. You know, here he's using these women as props. Like, who even knows what this presser was about because it was so off the rails. But he uses these, and he wants. And he looks at them and he's like, I'm better than Sleepy Joe, right? Who's better? Who do you like better? And he knows they're on camera. And he puts these women. And not just women. I mean, it's all these people. And he puts men, sports, in very uncomfortable compromising positions where they're there in front of the world. It's still the President of the United States. You're still in the Oval Office. We were in the Oval Office. When you look at it, it makes you feel a certain way. There's a lot of history attached to it. And he knows that, and he abuses it. And he brings you in, and then he says something like. And it's objectively, I would imagine, you go in there, which you shouldn't go in there knowing that that's how you're going to be used. Hard to be like, no, you're get me out of here right now. But then for these ladies here, like the sports teams, like the business leaders, like the men, it's not unique to the ladies, like the men, like anybody in there. It's like now people will look at you and know that you were an enabler of this. Like that's your life. Like no matter what good work you may have done or not good work, but if you were a well intentioned person, you were there and you just enabled it and you just adopted and incorporated by reference into all of your life's work, whatever that may be. This. And that's how you remember now. Like that's how, that's how. Like, I'll show you here, let's play this. It's very creepy too. Here, play this clip.
Donald Trump
How did I, how do I compare in terms of response with other presidents of the past?
Benji
No comparison, sir.
Donald Trump
Is that good or bad?
Benji
No, it's good, actually. It's very good.
Donald Trump
That's right. We do. Okay.
Brett Jordan
You do great.
Donald Trump
Little more than Sleepy Joe. A little bit more. Yes, I think so. Thank you.
Benji
Did he pat her also?
Ryan Reynolds
He loves patting people like they're pat.
Benji
He patted the lady and, and, and, and, but I just think though too, like you have to have some agency over yourself. Like I don't know who she, you know, someone tell me, you can put in the comments who she is. But like that's what you were padded, you looked like a fool. And now you're in, now that's your life. Like whatever you've done in life, from college to this to under, whether you're college, like that, like that's it, that's your moment right there. And that's how you'll be known to your children, to your grandchildren, you know, and, and, and, and that's generational. That's generational.
Brett Jordan
And, and I'll just add, you know, that's why accountability is so important. That's why the, the criminal cases against Trump were so important. That's why the law, defamation lawsuits against companies like Fox are important. That's why Jesse Waters being scared is important, because these people gain power when they get away with their crimes. And unfortunately, the lessons that we've learned from the past few years, that these people get away with things far too much and that people constantly want to try to move, move past an era in order to try to get to this utopia where we just let it all slide and everyone will just be kumbaya and everyone's going to be okay. No, right now what we're seeing is like this revenge tour from Donald Trump against everybody who he thinks who has wronged him. And all the Republicans also are trying to constantly invoke that same sort of fear in people so that people kind of think twice rather than try to, to get accountability in the future like earlier. I'm not sure if you guys caught this as well, but Chuck Grassley, Senator Chuck Grassley, ninety plus year old Chuck Grassley said in his. He always writes very weird online. I'm inviting Jack Smith to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 22nd. American people deserve nothing less than full transparency plus accountability for Arctic Frost and special counsel lawfare. I mean, this is just intimidation. They want to try to get people not to speak out. They want to try to get people not to prosecute these cases when the next Jack Smith comes along and says, I want to try to look into these many crimes that this person has committed and they want that person to be like, ugh. But then if the Republicans gain power in the future, I'm going to be dragged into the, in the mud and they're going to try to, while I'm 85, like Dr. Fauci, they're going to try to ruin my life and have me arrested and all this stuff. All because people were trying to get some sort of accountability. All because they would need someone to pass the blame on to somebody else for their own failures. And what I think Jack Smith should say in a situation like this is, okay, bring it on, I'll come. But let me bring volume two of my report about the Mar A Lago case, about the stolen documents case, and I'll be forthright with the American people about what's in that document. But they don't actually want the truth. They just want to berate people. They want to kind of instill fear into people so that they don't even think twice about whether or not they're going to prosecute, you know, in the future and actually pursue justice as how justice is supposed to be pursued. And I think, you know, know that's, that's the game they're playing. It's, it's, it's pretty obvious what they're doing. And they do it in the cloak of calling things by the name of the opposite thing. You know, the, the Weaponization committee is the company that, is the committee that's actually weaponizing the government. Donald Trump going after fraudsters. They are Actually the regime that is committing all of the fraud and so they couch it in all these terms which to try to, you know, delude the public and hope that legacy media and people go along with what they're calling things. But meanwhile the actual that they are doing are some of the most illegal, horrific, immoral things that you have ever seen.
Ryan Reynolds
Deep cut here for all you ball knowers. But I can't look at a Chuck Grassley tweet and not think of the time he was tweeting about the, the P Johns, the, the P. Johns pigeons. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I unfortunately don't have the tweet pulled up here so you might think I'm crazy. Just Google Chuck Grassley pigeon tweets and oh, you're in, you're in for a doozy there. You have never had more power than you do right now. Midas mighty pro democracy community folks that genuinely care. One of the coolest things about this network that I, that I like to say is we've never done any sort of paid marketing to promote the channel or us or any of this. All of this growth has been 100% word of mouth and that is all thanks to you. That's all thanks to you going to your circles, to your people, to you reposting to you talking about it online, you doing whatever in your capacity to uplift pro democracy voices and values. All of that is thanks to you guys and your ability to hold these people, these anti democratic institutions, the Trump regime, accountable every step of the way goes so far. It genuinely, genuinely does. And I just want to remind you of your power. Continue to call out the bs, use your platforms, use your circles, use your friends and families to remind them about none of this is normal. We are not living through normal times and we can get out of this, but we're going to have to work towards it. We can't just expect poof, everything's going to be fine or quote unquote back to normal. What is even normal? We know where we need to take this country in order to succeed and you all have the power to get us there. So thank you all so much for everything that you do every single day.
Benji

The MeidasTouch brothers make a passionate, deeply-researched case that the Trump regime is perpetuating an unprecedented era of corruption, humiliation, and decline by maintaining an ever-looping cycle of fraud, complicity, and denial. They urge their community—“the Meidas Mighty”—to reject normalization, hold power to account, and demand genuine, moral leadership. The episode is rich with analogies, sharp humor, and stinging rebukes for both political and media enablers, serving as both a warning and a rallying cry for change.
