That right there was an explosion at the Presidential palace in Damascus, Syria, Israel. Airstrikes hit the Presidential palace right there, citing concerns about the Druze minority in the South. There is a massive, massive conflict going on in Syria right now. This follows Donald Trump meeting with the interim leader of Syria and saying he's a real tough guy with the real shot of stabilizing Syria. That's when Donald Trump met with that interim President of Syria back in May and the President of Syria promised Donald Trump a new hotel in Damascus. Turning to domestic news right now, Donald Trump is attacking his own supporters this morning. He has referred to his supporters over the past 24 hours as really bad people, weaklings and past supporters. He basically says they're idiots for caring about the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. Here's specifically what Donald Trump posted moments ago. He goes the radical left Democrats have hit pay dirt again. Just like with the fake and fully discredited Steele Dossier, the lying 51 intelligence agents, the laptop from help which the dem swore had come from Russia, Noah came from Hunter Biden's bathroom, and even the Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia scam itself. A totally fake and made up story used in order to hide crooked Hillary Clinton's big loss and the 26 presidential election. Wow. These scams and hoaxes are all the Democrats are good at and it's all they have. They are no good at governing, no good at policy and no good at picking winning candidates. Also, unlike Republicans, they stick together like Lou. Their new scam is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. And my past supporters have bought into this bullshit hook, line and sinker. They haven't learned their lesson and probably never will. Even after being conned by the lunatic left for eight long years. I have had more success in six months than perhaps any President in our country's history. And all these people want to talk about with strong prodding by the fake news and the success starved Dems is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work. Don't even think about talking of our credible and unprecedented success because I don't want their support anymore thank you for your attention to this matter. Make America great again, exclamation point. So I just want to set the scene for you. We've been reporting how Donald Trump has been physically decomposing. I mean, his body literally looks like it's falling apart. You take a look at his hands, you know his face lately he's there posting that he no longer even wants his supporters to support him anymore if they believe that the Jeffrey Epstein list and the Jeffrey Epstein files are real. He says that everything Epstein is a total hoax. And he basically says that his own supporters are weak for believing that the Epstein files should be released. That's Donald Trump's fu with his decomposing hand to his supporters. This morning one of Donald Trump's hatchet men, a guy by the name of Mike Davis, then doubles down, he takes Donald Trump's message and he's like, get the hell out. Get the hell out of the cult right now. You don't belong here if you believe that Epstein was real. If you think that Epstein was involved in sex trafficking, you don't belong in the MAGA cult anymore. Here's what Mike Davis lawyer says. Let's be crystal clear. MAGA influencers do not have a power base separate from Trump. Their power is derivative of Trump. Trump isn't running for reelection. They need Trump a hell of a lot more than he needs them. I'll stay home in the next election we go for it. Go for it. That's the threat to the cult right there. Now, in terms of how people perceive Donald Trump's cover up of the Epstein files, the Epstein list and all of the investigations relating to Epstein sex trafficking which by the way, Donald Trump was very close to Epstein. I've laid out their connections in detail. Mar a Lago was used as one of the grounds for finding the girls to sex traffic. It's undisputed that that's the truth. Here is how the latest CNN poll finds Americans support or non support for the COVID up? I'll give you the hint. Only 3% of Americans are satisfied with the way this is being handled. Let's play it.
Co-Host
There's a new CNN poll that's just out. How's the controversy impacting the President's support?
Host
Yeah, I would say that the word is dissatisfied. That is how Americans feel in terms of the releases so far. The Epstein case. Take a look here. Epstein case amount of info release. The winner here, 50% dissatisfied doesn't matter. 29% not heard enough. 17% but look at the bottom of your screen. The Percentage that are satisfied is just 3%. That's 1. That's 2. That is just 3%. I feel like the count on sesame. Now, one of the videos that we're seeing as well from this past weekend that's coming out now. So not only did Donald Trump steal the FIFA World cup club trophy and bring it to the Oval Office, so Chelsea Football Club got a replica. Not only did Donald Trump refuse to leave the stage, he stole, he pickpocketed and stole one of the medals for the players and he puts it in his pocket and you'll see how uncomfortable the head of FIFA is here. Donald Trump's a criminal. He's a felon. He can't help him. So all he does is steal stuff like, and engage in crimes, like every day. Like he, he has an uncontrollable urge to commit crimes here. Just watch it before your eyes as he literally steals the metal. And the head of FIFA's looking at him like, what are you doing? Like, behave like an adult. Here, play this clip. Now, this morning there are congressional hearings taking place. You have Transportation Secretary Duffy testifying before the House of Representatives. And once again he admits that he has no clue how many air traffic controllers have left the FAA since January 20th. Roll tape.
Reporter
Ask you now, can you tell this committee how many air traffic controllers have left the FAA since January 20th of 2025? I don't. Please don't tell me you don't know. Oh, I don't know. I don't, I don't know that. But what I can tell you is that this is such an important job in such. Well, Congressman, I would say that we have new controllers that come in every month and controllers are eligible for retirements. They leave. Are you trying to tell us that you don't know how many air traffic controllers are in the building? How many have left the building? How many are getting ready to come into the building? They're not in the building building, they're in towers. Well, I'm just, I know. So what I can tell you is what I've done to keep those controllers from retiring when they're at the age of retirement. And they. 56 is the age of retirement, but a lot of them can retire at 50, 51. We're asking them to stay.

I started off this video by showing you some international news with the presidential palace in Damascus being hit by Israeli airstrikes based on a conflict between the government and jihadists and the Druze minority in the south. The world's on fire in general right now. I mean, Donald Trump said he would bring peace to Ukraine in 24 hours. Of course, that didn't happen. Then earlier this week, Donald Trump said, all right, I'm super theory. All right, now I'm super theory old when it comes to Vladimir Putin. It's south park reference and Donald Trump says, I'm going to give Vladimir Putin 50 more days. I went from two weeks back in April, I'm going to give you 50 days and then I'm going to consider some secondary sanctions. Vladimir Putin, unfazed. As Reuters reports, Putin unfazed by Trump, will fight on and could take more of Ukraine. As I've previously reported back on July 3, Putin said he would need 60 days to be able to complete a successful summer offensive. So you add the amount of days when Donald Trump announced 50 days, he basically gave Putin 60 days plus one 61 days. He gave Putin everything that he wanted in order to complete the summer offensive. That's why Donald Trump picked 50 days. As my friend Carl Quintanilla writes, Vladimir, stop. Please don't do that. Vladimir, please don't do that. Then you have Lindsey Graham try to be the tough guy, which makes this extra embarrassing. Lindsey Graham's like, call the Ayatollah Putin. Call the Ayatollah. If Russian President Vladimir Putin and others are wondering what happens on day 51, I would suggest they call the Ayatollah. What, you think that Donald Trump's going to bomb the nuclear facilities in Russia? That's what you think. Lindsey Graham, he's too afraid to even put on sanctions. He's too afraid to say anything mean about Putin. He's terrified of Putin. Right? Going from international affairs, let's talk about the economy. The Trump effect is starting to show up in the economy. I think it was actually before. So the Wall Street Journal reports new data reflects that the tariffs and immigration policies are boosting inflation and weighing on jobs. Duh. We knew that before. Just because Donald Trump says a dollar 98 a gallon, don't make it so, when we go into stores that things are more expensive, it's obvious to us. We know things are not cheaper. We know housing is not more affordable. But, yes, it's showing up in the data right now. And as Donald Trump looks weaker, Europe talks tougher. Europe is saying, all right, Donald, you're threatening us. We're going to have some new measures to retaliate against the United States. These can include new taxes on US Tech, targeted curbs on US Investments in the eu. They could also involve limited access to the EU market or restricting US Firms from bidding for public. By the way, do you all see what's happening here as well? So the countries throughout the world that Donald Trump declared this trade war against as well, they've basically bought time, as Donald Trump has. Taco Trump always chickens out to form the alliances with each other in order to basically checkmate the United States. By the way, China's economy, their GDP grew almost 6% last quarter. I mean, I mean, China's booming right now. They're doing better because they've found more trade partners throughout the world of people who are turning away from the United States. So this has been a huge boom to China. America is suffering. And now Canada, Australia, European Union, they're all Working with each other. Africa, South America, Central America, Mexico. Mexico. Sheinbaum just talked to Carney. They're just figuring this out. Okay, how do we cut out the U.S. let's buy time. He's got this stupid letter where he's going to, okay, I'm going to impose new tariffs in August. Let, let's just move beyond the United States. So that's what's taking place. And by the way, what foreign leaders are understanding right now, as you know, Prime Minister of Sheba in Japan's learning as they head to their upper house chamber election coming up. And as we saw in Australia, as we saw in Canada, leaders who stand up to Donald Trump are rewarded. Okay? Their approval goes up. The weak leaders have their approval hurt. I think that's frankly where, um, you know, Keir Starmer is struggling a little bit because when he sucks up to Donald Trump, he, you know, Keir Starmer, I think is doing great with Ukraine. The Trump stuff is just a little bit haphazard and I, and I think it comes off a little weak there. But take a look at what happened in Brazil. In Brazil, Lula's approval rating rose significantly after Trump threatens tariffs. People are rallying around Lula, the leader of Brazil. Speaking of the American economy, the 30 year treasury yield hit 5.03%, the highest level since May 29th. Again showing a lack of confidence in the United States markets. And how could you have confidence in the markets? Like, here was Donald Trump when he was asked yesterday on the tarmac at the Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, are you going to release, like you claim, that there's a deal with Vietnam and Indonesia now in the UK are you going to release any of these deals? Like, can we see them so we know what's. So the business community knows what you agree to? Because usually when there's a deal, it's in writing. And we see them like, that's what always happens. And Donald Trump's like, no, why would I show them to you? Why would I show you the deals? Because he hasn't made any deals. Zero deals. Trade deals are complex documents. 500 pages at least, but usually thousands, sometimes tens of thousands of pages. They could be very long. They detail every aspect of the trade arrangement. Trump isn't making deals, he's making fraud. And he is trying to get buildings for himself. Here, play this clip. All right.
Co-Host
Do you plan to release more details?
Host
Vietnam, sign a deal?
E
Well, I might. I don't think it matters how much you release of the deal. We have a Vietnam deal and I would say that that deal is being pretty well set. It's pretty well set. Again, that's an opening of their country. They've opened it up. Just so you know, these were closed countries. They were wonderful people, wonderful leaders, very strong, smart leaders. But their countries were closed to us, but our country wasn't closed to them. And so I said, you got to open up your country. So we're going to see. But the Vietnam deal, we may open it. I mean, I don't know. I can't tell you. Is it necessary? No. Yeah, I don't think so.
Host
And finally, you had Kristi Noem on News Nation be clowning herself. Here, play this clip. If in Arkansas, they had to. Sarah Sanders had to send letters and the delegation there had to send letters. As you think about remaking fema, how.
Advertiser
Can you assure Secretary that when disaster strikes that the states are not going to be begging for help?
Co-Host
Well, the president's vision for FEMA is that we would empower states to be able to respond to their constituents much more than what FEMA has done in the past. And so I think you've seen how he's already changing FEMA to the latitude.
Host
And here she is one more time. Let's play it. Okay.
Co-Host
I would encourage everybody though in this. If people are here in this country illegally, go home. I mean, the law is the law and we are upholding the law. And the president is very clear that he doesn't believe that the law should apply to some people and not to others and that there should be consequences for some people and not for others. They have the opportunity right now to self deport. We will buy.

The MeidasTouch Podcast: "Trump Crumbles in AM as Bombs Go Off" – Detailed Summary
Release Date: July 17, 2025
In the latest episode of The MeidasTouch Podcast, hosts Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas delve into a tumultuous mix of international crises, domestic political upheavals, and economic challenges, all underscored by their signature blend of brotherly banter and staunch support for democracy. Titled "Trump Crumbles in AM as Bombs Go Off", this episode provides listeners with a comprehensive analysis of current events, peppered with insightful commentary and notable quotes from key figures.
The episode opens with alarming news from the Middle East. Host Ben reports on a significant escalation in Syria:
[02:15] Ben: "The Middle East is on fire folks. There was an explosion at the Presidential palace in Damascus, Syria. Israeli airstrikes targeted the palace, citing concerns about the Druze minority in the south. This marks a massive conflict unfolding in Syria right now."
He contextualizes this attack within the broader geopolitical landscape, referencing former President Donald Trump's meeting with Syria's interim leader in May, where Trump was promised a new hotel in Damascus as part of stabilization efforts.
Shifting focus to the United States, the hosts discuss President Donald Trump's controversial stance towards his supporters. Ben highlights Trump's recent derogatory remarks:
[04:30] Ben: "Donald Trump is attacking his own supporters this morning. He referred to them as 'really bad people, weaklings,' and 'idiots' for believing in what he calls the 'Jeffrey Epstein Hoax.'"
Trump's social media tirade emphasizes his disdain for supporters who believe the Epstein allegations, accusing Democrats of perpetuating various "scams and hoaxes" to obscure what he claims was Hillary Clinton's loss in the 2026 presidential election.
Notable Quote:
[04:45] Trump: "These scams and hoaxes are all the Democrats are good at, and it's all they have. They are no good at governing, no good at policy, and no good at picking winning candidates."
Ben further critiques Trump's physical and rhetorical decline, noting:
[05:00] Ben: "We've been reporting how Donald Trump has been physically decomposing. His body literally looks like it's falling apart. Now he's publicly disowning his supporters."
The conversation shifts to Mike Davis, a Trump ally, who echoes Trump's sentiments by urging disaffected MAGA supporters to leave the movement, emphasizing Trump's indispensable role.
The podcast delves into the intricate web connecting Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. Ben meticulously outlines their association:
[06:10] Ben: "Donald Trump was very close to Epstein. Mar-a-Lago was used as one of the grounds for finding girls involved in sex trafficking. This connection is undisputed and forms a critical part of understanding the current controversy."
A CNN poll is presented, revealing public dissatisfaction:
[05:02] Co-Host Brett: "A new CNN poll shows that only 3% of Americans are satisfied with how the Epstein case is being handled. This overwhelming dissatisfaction highlights the lack of trust in current investigations."
The hosts transition to discuss recent accusations of Trump engaging in criminal behavior. Ben shares a viral video alleging Trump’s misconduct:
[06:20] Ben: "There's a new video circulating showing Donald Trump stealing the FIFA World Cup trophy and taking it to the Oval Office. He even pickpocketed a medal from a player, which the head of FIFA visibly disapproves of."
He categorizes these actions as symptomatic of a pattern of criminal behavior, reinforcing his argument with strong language:
[06:35] Ben: "Donald Trump's uncontrollable urge to commit crimes is becoming alarmingly evident. Every day, more incidents surface that paint him as a felon incapable of legitimate governance."
The discussion shifts to recent congressional hearings involving Transportation Secretary Duffy. Ben criticizes Duffy's testimony regarding FAA air traffic controllers:
[06:58] Ben: "Transportation Secretary Duffy admitted he has no clue how many air traffic controllers have left the FAA since January 20th. When questioned, he stammered, 'I don't know.' This lack of transparency is unacceptable."
He underscores the importance of accountability within federal agencies, highlighting the potential threats to national infrastructure.
Brett takes the lead in analyzing the current economic landscape, attributing rising inflation and job issues to Trump's policies:
[10:05] Brett: "The Wall Street Journal reports that tariffs and stringent immigration policies under Trump are fueling inflation and stifling job growth. Despite Trump's claims of economic success, the data starkly contradicts his narrative."
He elaborates on the 30-year treasury yield reaching its highest point since May 29th, signaling diminished confidence in U.S. markets:
[12:50] Brett: "The 30-year treasury yield hitting 5.03% is a clear indicator that investors are losing faith in the U.S. economy. This lack of confidence is undermining America's financial stability."
Ben connects these economic woes to Trump's erratic leadership, particularly his inconsistent stance on trade deals:
[13:15] Ben: "When Trump is questioned about trade deals with Vietnam and Indonesia, his evasive responses indicate a lack of genuine agreements. Instead of fostering economic growth, he's engaging in what can only be described as fraudulent activities."
The hosts discuss the deteriorating U.S. standing on the global stage. Jordy emphasizes how other nations are capitalizing on America's internal struggles:
[14:25] Jordy: "Countries like Canada, Australia, and members of the EU are forming stronger alliances with each other, effectively sidelining the United States. This consolidation is a direct response to Trump's hostile trade policies."
He points out China's economic resilience, boasting a 6% GDP growth last quarter, contrasting with America's faltering economy.
Ben examines the political fallout among global leaders who oppose Trump's agenda. He cites examples from Brazil and the UK:
[15:50] Ben: "In Brazil, President Lula's approval ratings have surged as Trump threatens tariffs. Similarly, leaders in the UK who stand up to Trump are seeing their support increase, while those who align closely with him are struggling."
Lindsey Graham's ineffective approach towards Putin is criticized:
[16:10] Ben: "Lindsey Graham's suggestion to 'call the Ayatollah' is not only embarrassing but also reveals his lack of courage in confronting Putin directly. This timid stance does nothing to deter Russian aggression."
The conversation concludes with a look at Trump's plans to restructure FEMA and tighten immigration laws. Jordy criticizes Kristi Noem for her problematic statements regarding FEMA:
[16:34] Jordy: "Kristi Noem's comments about FEMA and her encouragement for illegal immigrants to 'go home' reflect a harsh and unempathetic stance that undermines national unity and support for effective disaster response."
He underscores the importance of humane and effective policies over divisive rhetoric.
Wrapping up the episode, the hosts urge listeners to stay informed and engaged:
[17:20] Ben: "There you have it, folks. The situation is dire on multiple fronts, and it's crucial for us to stay vigilant and support democracy against these unprecedented challenges."
They encourage audience interaction, subscribing to the podcast, and fostering a community of informed citizens, the MeidasMighty.
Notable Moments and Quotes:
Trump's Attack on Supporters:
[04:45] Trump: "These scams and hoaxes are all the Democrats are good at, and it's all they have."
CNN Poll on Epstein Case:
[05:08] Ben: "Only 3% of Americans are satisfied with how the Epstein case is being handled."
FAA Air Traffic Controllers' Mismanagement:
[06:58] Ben: "Secretary Duffy admitted he has no clue how many air traffic controllers have left the FAA since January 20th."
Economic Concerns:
[12:50] Brett: "The 30-year treasury yield hitting 5.03% is a clear indicator that investors are losing faith in the U.S. economy."
International Alliances Forming Against the U.S.:
