Ben
So let me see if I've got this right. So Donald Trump's lawyer, who was also Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer, went on TV a few days ago and said that he is aware of these Epstein files. He knows that they're protecting really powerful.
Courtney
Individuals and that he just can't talk about it because it would breach his.
Ben
Duty of confidentiality, he says. But then late last night, he, he now says there is no list and there really are no files about individuals who were co conspirators of Epstein.
Courtney
He goes, there's just a bunch of affidavits and it's really just affidavits of.
Ben
Victims just saying what they went through.
Courtney
That's really all there is here.
Ben
There's no such thing as a list.
Courtney
So this is what I predicted was going to happen after Donald Trump made.
Ben
That post on social media saying that.
Courtney
The Epstein list and the Epstein files were all this Democratic hoax by Obama and Clinton. You know, I said, he's going to.
Ben
Have all the lawyers basically line up.
Courtney
And they're going to go along with that. And ultimately, who is that going to benefit? In my opinion, it's going to benefit Ghislaine Maxwell, because as I've mentioned, it's like she's gotten a golden ticket to get a retrial now from the criminal case against her in federal court because she's going to argue if the President of the United States is saying the entire Epstein sex trafficking ring is a hoax, then why was I criminally prosecuted and sentenced to over 20 years in prison? I come with receipts. And so it should also be noted that Alan Dershowitz, who you're going to see, Trump's lawyer who made statements like this, he is also pushing for Ghislaine Maxwell to receive, you guessed it, a pardon. And all of these other MAGA influencers now are out there saying, free Ghislaine, give Ghislaine a pardon. This as the Republicans in the House of Representatives are blocking votes and covering up the release of the Epstein file. So let's just, let's come with receipts. This is the Midas Touch network that's what we do, right? We don't speculate. We come with evidence. I do this like we're in a courtroom. Okay? So, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, let me show you Trump's lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, who was also Epstein's lawyer. And here he is saying this was over the weekend, that he knows that there are documents being suppressed to protect individuals. Just listen to him in his own words. Here, play this clip.
Dershowitz
So let me tell you, I know for a fact documents are being suppressed and they're being suppressed to protect individuals. I know the names of the individuals. I know why they're being suppressed. I know who's suppressing them. But I'm bound by confidentiality from a judge and cases, and I can't disclose what I know. But I pan to God. I know. I know the names of people whose files are being suppressed in order to protect them, and that's wrong.
Courtney
All right, well, now, in my view that the plan has been hatched by Donald Trump, things are changing a little bit. So what did Dershowitz say last night? Dershowitz said there is no list. I know that there's no list. Here's what he said. Here, play this clip.
Dershowitz
Is the government hiding a client list.
Evan
Or anything that the Trump administration could release tonight?
Dershowitz
No, there is no client list. There never has been a client list. A client list suggests that Jeffrey Epstein made a list of people to whom he trafficked women. What there is is a redacted FBI affidavit from accusers. There are several of them from accusers that accuse Jeffrey, that accuse various people of having improper sex, and that has been redacted. The names of the people accused have been blacked out. Now, of course, because I was the lawyer and I did only investigations, I know who all these people are. I could figure out, based on everything that I saw, who Mr. X is, Mr. Y is, and Mr. Z. I can tell you right now, none of them are public figures who are currently in office. Some of them were previously in office. Some of them are. Are dead.
Courtney
Let's take a look at Dershowitz, his background. Dershowitz, as I mentioned, is Donald Trump's. Was Donald Trump's lawyer during the impeachment case. Very close to Donald Trump, back in 1997 or so, he wrote a article, an op ed, that says statutory rape is an outdated concept. He says it raises a fundamental question about the continuing legitimacy of statutory rape laws. At a time when sex involving teenagers is so rampant and prosecution for statutory rape so selective, it is obvious that there must be criminal sanctions against sex with very young children. But it is doubtful whether such sanctions should apply to teenagers of above the age of puberty, since voluntary sex is so common in their age group. In other words, for him, the age of consent that he argues as a legal construct should be right after puberty, is what he's saying. And then you would think, well, is he still defending that to this day? Yeah. Well, right around the time when he was Donald Trump's lawyer, he goes, I stand by the constitutional, not moral argument I offered in my controversial op ed. If a 16 year old has deconstructed constitutional right to have an abortion without state or parental interference, how can she not have the constitutional right to engage in consensual sex? And by the way, here is Dershowitz describing why it was that he was at Epstein's home getting massages, which he claims he got. He doesn't like massages. He says he just got him in his boxers.
Ben
Here, play this clip.
Dershowitz
I never saw a young underage woman. Yet Epstein's former butler swore under oath that Dershowitz was at Epstein's residence at the same time underage girls were there. Were there young women in another part of the house giving massages when I wasn't around? I have no idea of that. Dershowitz did say he once received a massage at Epstein's mansion, but from an adult woman. I kept my underwear on during the massage. I don't like massages. Particularly Bob Norman, Local 10 News.
Courtney
All right, so you've got Dershowitz saying, pardon, Ghislaine Maxwell. You've got Dershowitz saying that he thinks constitutionally, the age of consent should be somewhere right after puberty. Now saying that the list doesn't exist. And then you have the other influencers, deeply embedded VIPs in the MAGA world, like lady.
Ben
Like Lady Victoria Hervey.
Courtney
She hangs out with Cash Patel and Donald Trump all the time at Bedminster and Mar a Lago. And she writes, keep in mind, there was no trafficking, no clients, only innocent victims who were extorted for money by two corrupt attorneys through a calculated scheme of blackmail. So in their view, Epstein and Ghislaine were actually the victims. That's what MAGA is now pushing, that they were the victims.
Ben
Huh?
Courtney
That. That's your position, maga. You've got magas like this who wear free Ghislaine Maxwell T shirts. Jessica Reed Krause. She's got VIP access in the White House right now in their new media division. She was one of those people holding the, the binders, The Epstein Phase 1 binders back in February when Pam Bondi said, this is just phase one. We're gonna be releasing the full list shortly. It's sitting on my desk. So she's posted. I'll be pushing for a retrial or a pardon until it happens. Especially in light of recent news, everyone should wonder why one woman is serving 20 years for trafficking minors to no one and why she's saying to no one. Because Donald Trump said it was all one big hoax. Now, just a reminder for you as.
Ben
Well that Dershowitz was Trump's lawyer.
Courtney
Just so you see. Okay. He's saying he's his lawyer. Was he really his lawyer, Ben?
Ben
He's.
Courtney
Yes, he was Epstein's lawyer. He was Trump's lawyer. Here he is in during the impeachment trial of Donald Trump.
Ben
Here he is arguing on behalf of Trump. Let's play it.
Dershowitz
What happened is that the current president was impeached. If in fact President Obama or President Hillary Clinton had been impeached, the weight of current scholarship would be clearly in favor of my position because these scholars do not pass the shoe on the other foot test. These scholars are influenced by their own bias, by their own politics, and their views should be taken with that in mind.
Courtney
And here he is pretty recently saying that he thinks Pam Bondi has extraordinary experience and is doing a very good job.
Ben
Let's play that clip.
Dershowitz
Well, look, I think we're on the right track. I think Pam Bondi has extraordinary experience. She's tough. She has the right priorities.
Courtney
Hey, parents.
Ben
We all know getting a good sleep can feel impossible when you have a newborn. That's where happiest baby comes in. And it's been a lifesaver for me. Courtney
Influencers fall in line. Charlie Kirk says I'm done talking about Epstein. Let's play it honestly.
Evan
I'm done talking about Epstein. For the time being, I'm going to trust my friends, the administration, I'm going to trust my friends in the government to do what needs to be done. Solve it. Balls in their hands. I've said plenty this last weekend. So if you guys want to see my commentary on it, that's fine.
Courtney
You've seen MAGA Republicans block the release of the Epstein files in the House of Representatives, like Mike Lawler. They're like, why are we even talking about us? Why would we talk about this? Here, play this clip.
Adrian
And as I said, if somebody did something, if there is evidence of a crime committed, then prosecute them. In the absence of that, what are we talking about?
Evan
You say there's a lot of nonsense. A lot of nonsense from whom? What do you think? Explain to me what you think the nonsense is here.
Adrian
Well, frankly, the fact that you're even covering this, I mean, I don't even understand frankly what, why we're spending a lot of time on Jeffrey Epstein. You know, the fact is he was a pedophile who was arrested, he committed suicide and his, you know, fixer, if you will, is being prosecuted. So at the end of the day, if there are people who were part of any crimes, then they should be prosecuted. But in the absence of that, what exactly are we looking to do? The information is there. It is well documented what he did. And beyond that, what exactly are we looking for?
Evan
Just so you know, it's being covered because the deputy director of the FBI is said to have taken off work on Friday to protest the Justice Department own handling of this. And there have been shouting matches reported inside the White House on this. So whether or not you think it's important, apparently there are people who are quite agitated about it. But I will move on.
Courtney
And look, I'm proud that at the Midas Touch Network, we've been covering this diligently every step of the way for the past since Midas Touch was created. Let me remind you of these videos that we've created. Hashtag Hold Trump Accountable was a video we created back in August of 2020. Let's play it.
Evan
You know about sexual predators and things like that.
Adrian
You are one.
Evan
All right.
Frank
Here's what Donald Trump said about his old friend Jeffrey Epstein in 2002. I've known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. It has even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do. And many of them are on the younger side.
Grace
Donald Trump is heard making questionable comments about a young girl.
Frank
You're going up the escalator. I'm going to be dating her in 10 years.
Dershowitz
A woman had filed a lawsuit alleging Trump sexually assaulted her when she was only 13 years old.
Frank
A girl backstage and everyone's getting dressed. I'm the owner of the pageant, so I sort of get away with things like that. You know, I'm automatically attracted to beautiful.
Dershowitz
I just start kissing for the 22nd time. Donald J. Trump has been accused of sexual misconduct.
Evan
Kiss me again.
Grace
Very aggressively. He was putting his hand up my skirt.
Frank
She would not be my first choice.
Grace
I'm very clear on this.
Frank
You're a star. They let you do it.
Grace
Touching my private parts.
Frank
Grab by the.
Grace
What does he think this is? He pinned you against the wall. It was a fight. She kept the address. She's asking for a sample of Trump's DNA for her case.
Courtney
And hashtag Pedot Trump was a video we created in September of 2020.
Ben
Let's play it.
Grace
Charges that Jeffrey Epstein was running a sex trafficking ring in the early 2000s that included underage girls as young as 14 years old. Donald Trump in 2002 said of Epstein, he's lot of fun to be with. It's even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do. And many of them are on the younger side.
Frank
He routinely spoke fawningly of Jeffrey. He admired Epstein's lifestyle.
Ben
Your daughter.
Frank
She's beautiful. Can I show you this? A piece of. She's actually always been very voluptuous.
Adrian
What does Tiffany have of Marlow?
Frank
She's got Marla's legs. We don't know whether or not she's got this part yet.
Grace
You were playing tennis and you came off the court. Quote, look at that piece of. I would love some of that. It so happened that Trump was referring to Cohen's then 15 year old daughter.
Adrian
I had the impression that he was.
Grace
Interested in younger women and that, you know, women would age out for him.
Courtney
Miss Teen Universe.
Frank
Yeah, that's like giving Jeffrey Dahmer a cooking show. I'll go backstage before a show and everyone's getting dressed and ready and everything else else. And I'm allowed to go in because I'm the owner of the pageant and therefore I'm inspecting it. Standing there with no.
Grace
Donald Trump is heard making questionable comments about a young girl.
Frank
You're going up the escalator. I'm going to be dating her in 10 years.
Dershowitz
A lawsuit against the presumptive GOP nominee alleges he raped a girl when she was 13 years old.
Frank
Prince Andrew answering questions for the first.
Courtney
Time about his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Frank
I don't know Prince Andrew, but it's, it's a tough story.
Dershowitz
Trump has been photographed with Prince Andrew.
Courtney
As far back as the year 2000.
Grace
Ghislain Maxwell is accused of helping Epstein sexually abuse underage girls.
Frank
I've met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm beach and I guess they lived in Palm beach, but I wish her well.
Evan
You, you know about sexual predators and things like that.
Adrian
I mean, you are one.
Evan
All right.
Adrian
I was gonna say that, but that it's true.

The MeidasTouch Podcast Summary: "Trump Dark Past Surfaces as Lawyer Falls Apart"
Release Date: July 16, 2025
In this gripping episode of The MeidasTouch Podcast, hosts Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas delve into the resurfacing controversies surrounding former President Donald Trump and his lawyer, Alan Dershowitz. The discussion intertwines deep political analysis with the brothers' signature humor, offering listeners an insightful exploration of recent developments related to the Epstein case and its broader political implications.
The episode opens with Ben addressing recent statements made by Alan Dershowitz, who previously served as Trump’s lawyer and also represented Jeffrey Epstein. Dershowitz's remarks have stirred significant debate, particularly concerning the existence of Epstein's alleged co-conspirators.
Initial Claim of Suppressed Files (00:27 - 01:12)
Ben introduces the controversy by highlighting Dershowitz's initial assertion that he is aware of suppressed Epstein files protecting powerful individuals. He states, “So Donald Trump's lawyer, who was also Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer, went on TV a few days ago and said that he is aware of these Epstein files...” (00:27). Courtney adds that Dershowitz claimed the protection of individuals' identities “...it would breach his duty of confidentiality” (00:42).
Reversal on the Existence of a List (03:27 - 04:54)
Later, Dershowitz retracts his earlier statements, declaring there is no comprehensive list of Epstein's co-conspirators. Courtney summarizes this shift: “What did Dershowitz say last night? Dershowitz said there is no list” (03:27). Upon replaying Dershowitz's statement, he clarifies, “No, there is no client list. There never has been a client list...” (03:46), emphasizing that existing documents are merely redacted affidavits from Epstein's accusers without naming specific individuals.
The hosts explore the ramifications of Dershowitz's statements, particularly regarding Ghislaine Maxwell's legal battles and the involvement of MAGA influencers.
Maxwell’s Legal Strategy (01:10 - 01:28)
Courtney predicts that Dershowitz's retraction could benefit Maxwell by strengthening her argument for a retrial. She explains, “...she's gotten a golden ticket to get a retrial now from the criminal case against her in federal court...” (01:10). This strategic move could potentially undermine the prosecution's case by casting doubt on the legitimacy of the available evidence.
MAGA Support for Maxwell (07:06 - 07:53)
The discussion shifts to the role of MAGA influencers in advocating for Maxwell's release. Courtney notes, “...MAGA is now pushing, that they were the victims” (07:27), highlighting how prominent figures within the movement, such as Lady Victoria Hervey and Jessica Reed Krause, are openly supporting Maxwell. This alignment underscores a broader political maneuver to reinterpret the Epstein narrative in a way that favors their agenda.
A significant portion of the episode is dedicated to scrutinizing Dershowitz's past statements and legal positions, raising questions about his credibility and motivations.
Controversial Views on Statutory Rape (04:54 - 06:33)
Courtney revisits Dershowitz's 1997 op-ed, where he controversially argued that the concept of statutory rape is outdated and questioned the application of such laws to teenagers post-puberty. She connects these past views to his current defense of Epstein, suggesting a pattern of minimizing the severity of sexual misconduct.
“He goes, I stand by the constitutional, not moral argument I offered in my controversial op-ed...” (05:00).
Defense of Epstein and Personal Conduct (06:33 - 07:06)
Dershowitz addresses allegations about his presence at Epstein’s mansion, insisting he never saw underage girls and maintained propriety during interactions. “I never saw a young underage woman... I can't disclose what I know…” (06:34). However, Courtney juxtaposes this with previous questionable statements to highlight potential inconsistencies.
The podcast also examines the political obstruction by GOP members in the House of Representatives regarding the release of Epstein-related documents.
Blocking Transparency (11:20 - 12:12)
Courtney and Ben discuss how MAGA Republicans, including figures like Mike Lawler, are actively preventing the dissemination of the Epstein files. Adrian asserts, “if somebody did something, if there is evidence of a crime committed, then prosecute them...” (12:02), countering the Republicans' dismissive stance on the necessity of further investigation without substantial evidence.
Throughout the episode, the Meiselas brothers emphasize their commitment to uncovering and presenting facts without speculation, likening their approach to that of a courtroom presentation.
Historical Coverage (13:23 - 16:35)
Courtney highlights the network's persistent efforts to hold Trump accountable, referencing past videos like “Hashtag Hold Trump Accountable” and “Hashtag Pedot Trump.” These segments feature damning remarks from Trump regarding Epstein, reinforcing ongoing concerns about his associations and behavior.
“Donald Trump is heard making questionable comments about a young girl...” (14:00).
Community Engagement and Call to Action (16:35 - End)
The hosts encourage listeners to engage with their content and support their mission to expose the truth. Ben urges, “Hit subscribe. Let's get to 6 million subscribers...” (16:49), reinforcing their role as watchdogs in the political landscape.
Ben on Confidentiality and Suppressed Files (00:47)
“...he just can't talk about it because it would breach his duty of confidentiality...” (00:47).
Dershowitz on Suppressing Documents (02:59)
“I know the names of the individuals. I know why they're being suppressed... that's wrong.” (02:59).
Dershowitz Denying the Client List (03:56)
“No, there is no client list. There never has been a client list...” (03:56).
Adrian on Cory Defamation (06:33)
“He doesn't like massages. He says he just got him in his boxers...” (06:33).
Courtney on Dershowitz’s Support for Maxwell (07:53)
“That's what MAGA is now pushing, that they were the victims.” (07:53).
Evan on FBI Deputy Director's Protest (13:05)
“...the deputy director of the FBI is said to have taken off work on Friday to protest the Justice Department own handling of this...” (13:05).
In this episode, The MeidasTouch Podcast provides a comprehensive and critical examination of the evolving narrative surrounding Donald Trump, Alan Dershowitz, and the Epstein case. Through meticulous analysis and strategic presentation of evidence, the Meiselas brothers underscore the intricate connections between political power, legal maneuvering, and public accountability. Their unwavering dedication to uncovering the truth serves as a beacon for listeners seeking clarity amidst the murky waters of political scandals.
