Donald trump's department of justice is refusing to respond to victims of ghislaine maxwell and jeffrey epstein so not only is trump's doj giving preferential treatment to ghislaine maxwell the convicted sex trafficker not only is the trump doj covering up the epstein files not only by doing that are they re victimizing the victims of epstein and ghislaine maxwell now they are refusing to meet or talk or help or provide resources to the victims and i want to describe in this video as well how that is a violation of department of justice policy how it is a violation of anti trafficking legislation and how it is a violation of basic human decency so annie farmer one of these survivors of epstein and ghislaine who testified against ghislaine maxwell at her criminal trial where she was convicted of sex trafficking and put in prison for over twenty years for her heinous acts annie farmer told cnn that she wrote to donald trump's former criminal defense attorney turned number two at the doj todd blanche and expressed her concerns and wanted to meet with him and meet with people at the doj along with other survivors to express their concerns how they are being re victimized by donald trump and trump's doj who are covering up for epstein who who are helping the sex traffickers and hurting the victims annie farmer explains that she received no response from trump's doj she says that neither she nor any of these survivors have heard a single word from the department of justice here's what she had to say here play this clip yeah.
C
Well and when you ask those questions does anyone answer what kind of response do you get so far there hasn't been a lot of official response to our queries even in this i reached out to the prosecutors who brought who got the guilty verdict for maxwell saying what's going on they knew so little because they have not been involved in this process i wrote a letter to deputy attorney general blanche saying these are my concerns about what's happening and there has not been a response know speaking with other survivors in this case that even though so many politicians are talking about this i don't think anyone has actually been contacted by anyone reached out to the attorney deputy attorney general and you haven't heard back yes now folks.

When i was a civil litigator for about twelve thirteen years i represented a lot of victims of sexual assault and abuse and they had criminal cases also against the perpetrators of that abuse of the assault of the against the traffickers now one of the things that always took place whether it was state or federal cases were the amount of resources and time and compassion that would be spent and focused also required by law by the prosecutors who would be working with the victims because what prosecutors do is that they're supposed to protect the victims not the traffickers you go back and you take a look at all of this legislation over the over the years regarding anti trafficking legislation the department of justice manuals here i mean go take a look at the department of justice manual it says the department of justice supports a broad range of victim assistance resources technical assistance and training and funding to support anti trafficking stakeholders across the united states the department also produces or contributes to a number of reports and publications related to human traffic in addition the doj funding supports research training and technical resources and other product and developments to help victims doj supports victims and survivors you have the victim survivors human trafficking office within the doj which in a situation like this would be required to be reaching out to the victims in the first instance not promoting the convicted sex trafficker all victims of human trafficking deserve to feel safe and supported according to the doj manual quality care compassionate responses and essential services can help victims recover from their victimization ovc the office for victims of crime has compiled a list of resources to help victims and survivors receive the assistance that they need and it even says contact ovc the office for victims they will help you we will reach out to you we will provide assistance here's what we can do here's crisis lines that you can but the trump regime here is refusing to help the victims and instead donald trump's former criminal defense attorney now the number two at the doj is helping delaine maxwell she's already received immunity from that nine hour meeting she had with todd blanche that took place in tallahassee where she can no longer be prosecuted for any of the things that she said in that meeting which she never discussed before because she refused to testify at her trial or cooperate during her sex traffick trial so let's just say trump pardoned elaine for the conviction and then people said whoa we've now learned that you committed all these other acts because you've said these things at this interview with the doj she can't be prosecuted for it you see how trump and his former criminal defense attorney already gave her a sweetheart deal then they moved her to camp brian prison a minimum security facility in texas which is right near the texas a and m college campus where oftentimes the female invades inmates walk over to the campus there's a lot of restorative justice programs there there's like no security guards at this facility and there's a reason why sex traffickers are not allowed in that facility one it's minimum security to the convicted sex traffickers are deemed not to be able to be entitled to these restorative justice programs based on their heinous acts and three it's right by a college campus and it integrates with the college on a lot of restorative justice programs as well so here trump regime refusing to spe to victims speaking to the perpetrator against their own justice manual right here are you looking for.

From annie farmer's interview as well she goes let's talk about how you move forward here play this clip feels like.
C
That campaign is not working people recognize that she's a predator not a victim and i think that any additional lessening or of sentence or negotiation will really be met with a lot of outrage and seen as a you know a sign of some guilt if the president's not ruling it out a pardon and he just emphasizes that he has the ability to do so i wonder what you would want to say to him about even considering that yeah i just would want him to know it would be devastating for the victims of epstein and maxwell i mean this was the one person who was held accountable for these crimes and she was held accountable for her crimes not for someone else's but for the ones that she committed and i think there's many other ways for him to move forward with this that would actually be indicative of you know him not being involved that would not involve her right releasing more information as people are clamoring for i think anything that involves her participation would be seen as a sign of guilt and.
B
Then in response to donald trump calling everything that epstein did a hoax here's what annie farmer a survivor of epstein has to say play this clip annie.
C
I mean one comment that we heard from the president yesterday was you know this is being pushed by the democrats that it's a hoax that it's bs as someone who lived it and experienced it and is a survivor i wonder what you make of that it's offensive this is not a hoax you know there have been so many people that have come forward and shared their stories i i hate that it has been politicized the way it has because i think we lose sight of the bigger picture in that and i think this is really about people using their power to harm others and that is not a political issue i think people on both sides care about the safety of children and i really hope that trump understands that a message is being sent beyond just the individuals involved in this case to the wider community about how we you know about the seriousness of these types of crimes yes and so.

That'S just a way of trying to divert attention to something that's total bullshit okay and one of the things we learned today too epstein's longtime butler says that this was reported as well today epstein's longtime butler says there's no chance that epstein would have killed himself jeffrey epstein's butler says he doesn't think that there would ever be a chance that he would kill himself he told the telegraph he ran epstein's paris home for eighteen years and he would never kill himself until he thought that he was going to get off on the non prosecution agreement and that there was no way that he would ever ultimately take you know die by suicide if he was going to get this non prosecution agreement in any event one thing i want to bring up too though now that we see how donald trump is helping ghislaine that convicted sex trafficker you know it's hard for you to say well you're being conspiratorial about this or that it just happened in plain view that he gave the convicted sex trafficker immunity and promoted her and and dangling a part in front of her and moved her to a nice facility where she doesn't belong because people said release the files to hold others accountable in a sex trafficking pedo ring that she led and now donald trump's doj is not talking to the victims against their own against the law and against their own manuals anyway let me know what you think hit subscribe let's get to six million subscribers can't get enough midas check out the midas plus substack for ad free articles reports podcasts daily recaps from ron filipkowski and more sign up for free now at midas plus dot.

Summary of "Trump DOJ Blocks Victims to Cover His Dark Past" – The MeidasTouch Podcast
Introduction In this compelling episode of The MeidasTouch Podcast, hosts Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas delve deep into the troubling actions of former President Donald Trump's Department of Justice (DOJ) concerning victims of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein. Combining their trademark brotherly banter with incisive analysis, the Meiselas brothers shed light on alleged malpractices within the DOJ that undermine victim support and justice.
Main Discussion
Trump DOJ's Preferential Treatment and Victim Re-Victimization
At [02:29], Brett initiates the discussion by highlighting the DOJ's refusal to engage with victims of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein. He asserts that the DOJ is not only providing preferential treatment to Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker but is also systematically covering up Epstein's files. This lack of transparency and support is re-traumatizing the victims who sought assistance.
Violation of DOJ Policies and Anti-Trafficking Legislation
By [05:07], Brett, drawing from his extensive experience as a civil litigator, emphasizes that the DOJ's actions are in stark violation of its own policies and anti-trafficking laws. He references the DOJ manual, which mandates support for a broad range of victim assistance resources. Brett critiques the Trump administration's DOJ for neglecting these obligations, thereby failing to protect victims and instead aiding perpetrators.
Annie Farmer's Testimony and Lack of DOJ Response
At [04:13], Jordy presents a poignant testimony from Annie Farmer, a survivor who testified against Maxwell. Farmer recounts writing to Todd Blanche, Trump's former criminal defense attorney and then-number two at the DOJ, expressing her concerns about being re-victimized. [04:13] Annie states:
"What kind of response do you get so far there hasn't been a lot of official response to our queries..."
Farmer's experience underscores the DOJ's lack of accountability and responsiveness to victim needs.
Impact of DOJ's Actions on Survivors
Brett further elaborates on how the DOJ's inaction contradicts established anti-trafficking efforts. He cites the DOJ's commitment to victim support, as outlined in their manuals, and contrasts it with the current administration's neglect. Brett argues that by ignoring victims and shielding Maxwell, the DOJ is facilitating a culture that prioritizes traffickers over survivors.
Notable Quotes
Annie Farmer on DOJ's Silence
[10:46] Annie Farmer says:
"I've expressed my concerns and wanted to meet with people at the DOJ... but I received no response."
Brett on DOJ's Obligations
[05:07] Brett states:
"The DOJ manuals here I mean go take a look at the Department of Justice manual it says the Department of Justice supports a broad range of victim assistance resources..."
Annie Farmer on Politicization of Crimes
[11:59] Annie asserts:
"This is not a hoax... it's offensive... people are using their power to harm others and that is not a political issue."
Victim Sarah Ransom on Maxwell's Actions
[13:08] Sarah Ransom remarks:
"She broke the sisterhood... She was supposed to be a protector... she'll have to live with that for the rest of her life."
Further Insights
Public Figures' Stance on Maxwell's Pardon
The podcast addresses rumors and concerns about a potential pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell. Survivors like Alicia Arden and Hallie Robson vehemently oppose any leniency, emphasizing Maxwell's heinous crimes and the devastating impact of a pardon on victims' healing processes.
Donald Trump's Dismissive Attitude Towards Epstein's Cover-Up
The hosts highlight Trump's dismissive remarks about the Epstein case, portraying it as a political hoax. Brett condemns Trump's approach, stating:
"How in the world... is release the Epstein files turn into let me help out the sex traffickers?"
Jeffrey Epstein's Butler's Statement
The podcast touches on a statement from Epstein's longtime butler, who refutes the notion that Epstein killed himself, adding weight to ongoing conspiracy theories and distrust in official narratives.
Conclusions
The MeidasTouch brothers conclude that the Trump administration's DOJ actions represent a significant betrayal of victims and a gross misuse of power. By shielding convicted sex traffickers and ignoring victim pleas, the DOJ undermines the very foundations of justice and victim support. The hosts call for accountability, transparency, and a recommitment to uphold DOJ policies that protect and support survivors of trafficking and abuse.
Final Thoughts
This episode serves as a stark reminder of the challenges victims face within flawed legal and governmental systems. Through meticulous analysis and heartfelt testimonies, The MeidasTouch Podcast underscores the urgent need for systemic reforms to ensure that justice is truly served and that victims receive the support and recognition they deserve.
