The commander of a nuclear submarine was just relieved of duty by Donald Trump and Hegseth. And this follows a lot of turnover within the Navy in some of our most important and powerful ships. Donald Trump and Hegseth tried to fire this commander of a nuclear submarine quietly. They cited, quote, maintenance issues. But, but we need to really drill down what is happening here on this nuclear submarine. What happened to the top US Navy commander who was mysteriously killed in the Arabian Sea. We also know that the former Secretary of the Navy, John Phelan, was fired in the past several months during this catastrophic and unlawful war in Iran. Hunkao is now the Secretary of the Navy. We also know that the commander of, of the USS Mason was recently fired before the ship went into the Arabian Sea. We also learned that another nuclear submarine made a surprise stopover in the Strait of Gibraltar, which is interesting as well, because rarely do these nuclear submarines announce their presence. And this USS Alaska submarine did that. And what happened recently in that area? Well, we know Donald Trump is threatening the sovereignty of Spain. We now believe it's pretty clear that it was Trump, Netanyahu and the King of Morocco working together to put the tens of thousands of Moroccan migrants in Sieta in Northern Africa in order to attack Spain. And Spain did actually a very good job, I think, with the humanitarian crisis created by King Mohammed of Morocco there. But you had that nuclear submarine announce its presence. And you know, these nuclear submarines form the sea leg of the nuclear Tria. Had these nuclear submarines, the Ohio class, as they are called, they are divided into two teams. Usually, for example, the nuclear submarine that we're going to be talking about right now, where Commander Joseph Sama was fired and relieved of duty, had a blue team and a gold team. He was the blue team commander. Usually the teams go out for 70 to 90 days while the other team is involved in training. And this is a really big deal, especially as we're seeing a lot of other top commanders get fired. The Secretary of Navy's been fired, and it's part of this pattern of Trump and Hegseth firing these top people. Now, maybe there was grounds for it, but for all of these people, especially during a catastrophic war, raises many red flags. Um, and, and, or are they hiring people who are qualified in the first place? For example, we know that the Trump regime has not promoted any female to become a one star General. Heg Sith has pursued racist, misogynistic policies to not promote minorities, not promote women. We know that the United States has pushed out some of its top military talent. Right. The Former chief of Staff of the army was well respected. Former top commanders in Europe, well respected. The former chairman of the joint chief, C.Q. brown Jr. The four star replaced him with a three star. And they fired C.Q. brown Jr. Because he's black. They brought in a guy who, a white guy who they liked his nickname, Raisin Cain, who needed a waiver because he wasn't qualified. And again, this is the chaos that the Trump regime is engaged in. What, while engaging in this catastrophic war. No wonder Trump surrenders over and over again. And also the amount of times that Donald Trump says, we've destroyed Iran's Navy. It's at the bottom of the sea. We know with Trump, it's always projection when I'm sharing with you right now. Seems that there is a massive crisis going on in the United States Navy right now at the leadership level of promotions of who is in charge. Why are commanders constantly being fired? You had the. By the way, the former Secretary of the Navy felon, he was in the Epstein files. He was on the flight manifest. No shocker there. Hung Cao has said some of the most deranged and lunatic things as well. Let's go through this, shall we? The Navy relieves the commander of the USS West Virginia, Commander Joseph Samore. You see him right here. He was relieved of the blue crew duty. You see this photo of him taking over command August 14, 2025. So he didn't even make it one year. And this guy was rising through the ranks. So the fact that he didn't make it one year raises lots of red flags. There was apparently an investigation into, quote, maintenance issues. And that's kind of the broad term that they use because they don't want to say misconduct or inappropriate conduct. They say maintenance issues. And so he's been relieved of his command right there. And this follows numerous other people who have been relieved of their command. For example, in June, the Navy fired three top officials at an overseas maintenance center after losing, quote, confidence in their ability to command. Loss of confidence. In February, the Navy relieved the commanding officer of the destroyer, the USS Mason for the same reason. The USS Mason was recently in the Strait of Hormuz along with the USS Truxton. You saw these destroyers right there. They were sent to that area a few months back as Trump was escalating over there. Another US Navy Ohio class nuclear armed ballistic missile submarine, right? The USS West Virginia is also this Ohio class nuclear arm ballistic submarine, the sea leg of the Triad. Um, so this one, the USS Alaska, docked publicly in Gibraltar with the Royal Marine security and a 200 meter exclusion zone following Trump's rejection of Iran's. You know, it was one of the times where, you know, Trump was saying, oh, we're gonna do a deal. We're not gonna do a deal. We're gonna do a deal, not do a deal. The Ohio class submarines carry up to 20 Trident nuclear missiles. They almost never make public port calls. Let's just say they rarely ever make public portals. They stay under, they're stealthy. They're our nuclear triad. They don't pop up. And they popped up in Gibraltar, which is just fascinating. Strait of Gibraltar, Mediterranean Sea, right. That was that area right by Sita where Morocco sent 50,000 migrants who were returned. Well, there were some tragic incidents where there was a lot of death actually as well from that as well. Right. You got the Gibraltar Strait. Strait of Gibraltar, then we're good. We're looking over here. You got the Red Sea, Bob, El Mandab Strait, Red Sea, Persian Gulf, what do you've got? You've got the Hormuz Strait right there. So projecting the nuclear submarine there, you know, and it making a port call. Again, very odd. But when it comes to the Trump regime, all of this behavior is odd.

This also happens at the same time that China's navy successfully test fired a nuclear capable ballistic missile carrying a training simulation warhead from a strategic submarine into the Pacific high seas. The launch triggered swift condemnation from New Zealand, Japan, Papua New guinea, and they all called this a threat to regional stability. And as I've done another video about in the past, in the past, this, this past morning, you have all of these admirals and generals leaking to the press that the United States does not have the forces to escalate in Iran and certainly doesn't have the forces to protect the United States anymore. That the U.S. i mean, this is essentially what the U.S. allied commander from NATO in Europe, Grinkowicz, who's very well respected General Grinkovich, is like, look, the United States is now protecting Israel and we don't, we don't protect the United States anymore. We don't have our, our capabilities to protect the United States. And if there were to be any conflicts in the rest of the world that the United States would need to project strength and we don't have the capabilities. And of course, Grinkowich and a lot of these generals, what they're not saying out loud or even on background, China, China's building its ballistic missile nuclear class of submarines as we just talked about there. And then of course, you also got Russia, you know, and Russia and Ukraine and the escalation taking place there. This also comes at a time where we Learned that Navy SEALs in the past year used two boats to escort Kash Patel and nine others on what a Pentagon email called a VIP snorkel trip next to one of the military's most sacred sites, the underwater tomb of the USS Arizona. And as I note before, over the last year, the Navy has not promoted a single female officer from captain to one star admiral because Hexith and Trump hate women and hate black people and hate minorities. And as it's my opinion, you can have a different opinion. I'm sharing with you my opinion protected by the First Amendment as evidenced by their actions. Let me be very clear. That's opinion speech. You can disagree with the opinions. And then that brings us to US Secretary of Navy John Felon, who was terminated by the Trump regime. He was named on a flight manifest found in the Epstein files showing that he flew in 2006 from London to New York on a Boeing 727 owned by convicted sex offender and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein aboard an aircraft known more commonly as the Lolita Express. 12 other passengers listed on that manifest beside Felon include Epstein, Jean Luc Brunel, his trafficker, a French modeling agent who trafficked and and others.

Fair.

And this to remind you what Felon was saying before he was fired was that for the first time in generations, we will have a new leg in America's nuclear deterrence because they wanted to build Trump class battleships. They were going to call it. Donald Trump doesn't like stealth. He didn't like the submarines. He wanted his own battleships that look like World War I battleships. So look what the former Navy Secretary had to say about building Trump battleships that look like World War I. Or like, yeah, like World War I ships that are nuclear powered, which is probably the worst idea given drone warfare, unmanned submersives. I mean, these people are the dumbest people I know. We've got a lot of military people who watch this. I mean, I hope you appreciate that we do the diligence like y' all must be. If I'm thinking like, yo, these people, these, this Trump regime is like the biggest group of idiots. They're like the worst of the military. I can only imagine what the people in the Navy who watch this and our other armed force members who watch. And we know we have top people in the military who watch this. I just wonder what you think. Anyway, play this clip of feeling.
B
Let's play it.
C
This ship isn't just to swat the arrows. It is going to reach out and kill the archers. And for the first time in generations, we'll have a new leg in America's nuclear deterrence. Because the Trump class battleship will carry the nuclear armed sea launched cruise missile. Striking dominance isn't all that the Trump class battleship brings to the fight at sea. It has the size and capacity to serve as a flagship for our fleet commanders so that they can command and control naval forces far out to sea.
A
And it doesn't get much better. The guy who took over from Felon is Hung Cow. Here's Hung Cow saying that he believes witches have taken over California. Let's play it.
D
There's a place in Monterey, California called Lovers Point. Yeah, the original name was Lovers of Christ Point, but now it's become they took out the Christ. It's Lovers Point. And it's really. Monterey is a very dark place now. Yeah. A lot of witchcraft and the Wiccan community has really taken over there. And we can't let that happen in Virginia. Virginia is, I mean, especially down, down in Roanoke. They're God loving people. Richmond too, and Virginia Beach. And we just need to mobilize Christians across the nation.
A
I mean, and he claims he's African American because he lived in Africa for a little bit. Okay, let's. These people are crazy. Let's play this clip right here. And you're conservative and you love God and you love America, like all the things.
D
And I'm African American because I grew up in Africa too, so. Oh, really?
A
Ye. African American Vietnamese. Here we go. No, but significantly, hung cow again. Current Navy secretary said at a recent appropriations hearing that we're, we're doing a pause on giving Interceptors or any arm shipments to Taiwan because we've run out of our weapons. And he said that a few months back. Remember I showed you that. Which was a monster red flag to me. I'll show you what he said here. Let's play it to buy arms from us.
B
And all of a sudden there's a pause.
A
What are you hearing from the Taiwanese about the pause,
D
Chairman? I have not heard, I have not spoken to the Taiwanese. However, we are, we have done some military, foreign military sales to them. It's just right now we're doing a pause in order to make sure we have the munitions we need for Epic Fury, which we have plenty. But we're just making, making sure we have everything. But then the foreign military sales will continue when the administration deems necessary, sir.

And that brings me to the top US Navy commander killed in the Arabian Sea. Commander Gabe Edwards was killed after his helicopter mysteriously crashed into the sea July 1st. The US hid all details. He went missing after an M 1860s Seahawk helicopter made an emergency water landing in the Arabian Sea on July 1, 2026, during an operation tied to the carrier USS George H. W. Bush right there. And so I think that the totality of what I've just said raises some massive red flags. I'd love to hear what you're thinking as well as well about all of this. In any event, hit subscribe. You tell. I mean, come on, what's your theory? About what happened. Is it connected to Trump surrendering? Is it connected to Iran? Is it connected to Gibraltar? Is it connected to just hegseth not being able to being a horrible manager? They're firing everybody. Hit subscribe let's get to 7 million subscribers. Thanks for watching.

Date: August 5, 2026
Hosts: Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas
This episode dives into the unprecedented series of firings and turmoil within the U.S. Navy under Donald Trump’s presidency, set against the backdrop of the escalating and controversial Iran war. The brothers dissect the pattern of removals among senior military commanders, the overtly political choices for top defense roles, the questionable public showcasing of U.S. nuclear submarines, and the far-reaching implications for U.S. national security, allied confidence, and global stability.
Topic: A nuclear submarine commander was quietly relieved of duty by Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, sparking alarm given a cascade of similar firings at the Navy’s highest levels.
Context: Recently, multiple top commanders have been fired, including the commander of the USS Mason and the Secretary of the Navy, creating what hosts describe as “chaos.”
Insight: Firings are typically blamed on vague “maintenance issues,” raising suspicion these are cover stories for deeper problems or misconduct.
“They cited, quote, maintenance issues. But we need to really drill down what is happening here…”
— Ben, [00:00]
Diversity Concerns: Trump’s administration, specifically Hegseth, is accused of not promoting women and minorities in the military hierarchy.
“Heg Sith has pursued racist, misogynistic policies to not promote minorities, not promote women...The United States has pushed out some of its top military talent.”
— Ben, [02:01]
Unusual Movements: An Ohio-class submarine (USS Alaska) made a public appearance in Gibraltar—a very rare move seen as a deliberate show of force and an odd break from standard military protocols.
Spanish & Moroccan Crisis: The hosts link Trump’s policies to a recent humanitarian crisis, tying together a web of political intrigue involving Netanyahu and the King of Morocco sending migrants to attack Spain’s borders.
Strategic Instability: The discussion points to how these events highlight volatility—not just in American leadership—but in how the U.S. projects nuclear deterrence.
“They [Ohio class subs] almost never make public port calls...they don’t pop up. And they popped up in Gibraltar, which is just fascinating.”
— Ben, [06:52]
China’s Military Moves: While U.S. leadership falters, China makes headlines for test-firing a nuclear-capable ballistic missile from a submarine, sparking outrage across the Pacific.
“This also happens at the same time that China’s navy successfully test fired a nuclear capable ballistic missile...the launch triggered swift condemnation from…Japan, Papua New Guinea...”
— Ben, [09:48]
U.S. Military Readiness: American generals (notably NATO’s Gen. Grinkowitz) have leaked concerns that the U.S. no longer has forces ready to both sustain the Iran conflict and protect the U.S. homeland or allies elsewhere.
Navy SEALs & VIPs: A Pentagon leak reveals Navy SEALs were tasked with escorting Trump allies on a “VIP snorkel trip” at the USS Arizona tomb—raising questions about abuse of military resources.
Epstein Ties: The former Secretary of the Navy, John Felon, was terminated after being revealed on Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs.
“By the way, the former Secretary of the Navy felon, he was in the Epstein files. He was on the flight manifest. No shocker there.”
— Ben, [06:20]
Trump Battleships Fantasy: Audio clips feature Felon touting “Trump class battleships” that resemble World War I ships but are nuclear powered—a plan universally mocked as outdated, dangerous, and ill-suited for modern warfare.
“They wanted to build Trump class battleships that look like World War I battleships. So look what the former Navy Secretary had to say...”
— Ben, [12:46]
Hung Cao’s Conspiracy Theories: Felon’s replacement, Hung Cao, is caught on tape making bizarre statements about witches in California and claims he’s “African American because I grew up in Africa.”
“Hung Cow saying that he believes witches have taken over California...”
— Ben, [14:23]
“And I’m African American because I grew up in Africa too...”
— Hung Cao, [15:16]
Arms Pause to Taiwan: Hung Cao admits in congressional testimony that U.S. arms shipments to Taiwan have been paused due to depleted munitions—a revelation regarded as highly alarming.
“Commander Gabe Edwards was killed after his helicopter mysteriously crashed into the sea July 1st...”
— Ben, [16:26]
“No wonder Trump surrenders over and over again.”
— Ben, [04:01]
“The United States does not have the forces to escalate in Iran and certainly doesn’t have the forces to protect the United States anymore.”
— Ben narrating Gen. Grinkowitz, [10:24]
“These people are the dumbest people I know...I hope you appreciate we do the diligence like y’all must be.”
— Ben, [12:45]
The discussion is forthright, laced with the brothers’ signature mix of disbelief, dark humor, and sharp critique directed at Trump-era military leadership. Their approach blends detailed news analysis with excoriating commentary and occasional comic relief—crafted to engage and rally their pro-democracy audience.
This episode paints a picture of a U.S. Navy caught in political churn, beset by leadership instability and overshadowed by controversial appointments, problematic firings, and strategic missteps. All this as rivals like China seize upon U.S. internal chaos to project power. The Meiselas brothers call listeners to stay vigilant, get informed, and remain engaged—the very survival of U.S. democracy and national security, they argue, may be hanging in the balance.
