Donald Trump's top advisor, Howard Lutnick just made some shocking admissions about Jeffrey Epstein. That's just totally throwing Donald Trump under the bus. And this comes at the worst possible moment for Donald Trump. Trump Let me just show you a little bit of what Howard Lutnick said in this interview with a new podcast by the New York Post writer Miranda Devine. Watch this clip. Let's play it.
Howard Lutnick
I say to him, massage table in the middle of your house. How often you have a massage? And he says, every day. And then he like gets like weirdly close to me. Oh. And he says, and the right kind of massage.
Narrator/Commentator
Now this is part of a longer interview where Howard Lutnick, who was Jeffrey Epstein's next door neighbor in Manhattan, talked about his visit to meet Jeffrey Epstein for the first time When Epstein's assistant said, jeffrey Epstein's your neighbor, I think this is back in 2005. Why don't you come over and meet Epstein? And so Howard Lutnick tells the story, and you heard a little bit right there where Jeffrey Epstein shows him the massage room and says, you know, the types of massages that I like. And Howard Lutnick claims that he never really spoke to Jeffrey Epstein again after that. Although we do have photos right here of Ghislaine Maxwell attending Cantor Fitzgerald parties before or honor around that visit. So it seems like they may have known each other a little bit more than Howard Lutnick is letting on, although it's not fully clear. But then Howard Lutnick goes on to say that anybody who met Jeffrey Epstein knew that he was creepy from the moment you saw him. So the reporter, the podcaster host, then asks, well, you know, why did all of these rich people. And she lists a few names. Well, why did they, you know, go along with it? And then Lutnick's like, well, wouldn't it be just so obvious that, like, Epstein was like this? So these people must have known what was going on? Well, Donald Trump was Epstein's best friend at that time and for decades. So wouldn't it be clear that Donald Trump would have known all of these things and that Epstein, right away, when he meets you, starts to talk to you about the massage table and things like that, according to Howard Lutnick. So let me break this down, and then I want to share with you a blockbuster report again from the Wall Street Journal here. They've put out some good reports, and they've been talking about how in their latest report, how Epstein really wasn't blacklisted from Wall street and banks and how he was doing deals, really, up until the time that he was arrested again during that kind of 2018, 2019 arrest. So let me show you this first, right here. This is a longer clip. Howard Lutnick talks about what went down when he first met Jeffrey Epstein. Watch this. Let's play it.
Interviewer/Podcast Host
He was your neighbor for 10 years. How well did you know him?
Howard Lutnick
All right, so we are in number 11, and he lives in number nine.
Interviewer/Podcast Host
Right?
Howard Lutnick
So we renovate, we buy our house. And our house is pigeons and mice, right? Okay, That's. It was derelict, right? So we build, we rebuild our house. We move in in 2005. Okay. Jeffrey Epstein is arrested in, like, 08, I think something like. Right, right. So knock on the door. His assistant on, like, a Saturday, says, Mr. Epstein, your neighbor would like to invite you over for coffee. So my wife and I go next door. You know, we walk the seven steps. Yes, right. To the next house. For. For coffee. We share a wall. Right, Right. So it's in New York City. So he invites us in. We have coffee in this. And he says, do you want a tour? He said, great.
Podcast Host (MIDI Health Sponsor)
Interesting.
Howard Lutnick
He's got really big house.
Interviewer/Podcast Host
Every room you went into, he's got.
Howard Lutnick
He's got it. Well, I'll tell you. So his house is like super big, really wide. And so he gives me a tour in the living room. Big living room. And then across from it is double doors. I assume it's the dining room. Yeah. And he opens the doors, and there's a massage table in the middle of the room and candles all around stuff. So I ask very insightful, cutting questions. I say to him, massage table in the middle of your house. How often you have a massage? And he says, every day. And then he, like, gets, like, weirdly close to me. Oh. And he says, and the right kind of massage. Ooh. Now my wife is standing here. So she looks at me and I look at her and we say, I'm sorry, we have to go. And we left. And in the six or eight steps it takes to get from his house to my house, my wife and I decided that I will never be in the room with that disgusting person ever again. So I was never in the room with him socially for business or even philanthropy. If that guy was there, I wasn't going, because he's gross.
Narrator/Commentator
Okay, then in this next clip right here, you have Howard Lutnick again saying that Epstein was gross right away. It was obvious right away. And then Miranda Devine, the host, says, but what about this rich person? That rich person? And he's like, they knew. That's how Epstein made his money. He would videotape the people, and then he would blackmail him. He was a world class blackmailer. How else do you think he got the sweetheart deal in 2008? And then she goes and asks him, well, but what about Donald Trump? Like, have you talked to Donald Trump about this and letting it goes? No, I mean, he knows the whole story. Trump knows the whole story. I was one and done with this guy. Trump was not one and done with this guy. So watch here what Howard Lutnick says. This is unbelievable. Here, play this clip.
Interviewer/Podcast Host
I mean, that's an incredible story that you could pick up that he was a pervert.
Howard Lutnick
It's gross. That guy's gross. Right? With my wife is grow. The guy's gross. This was not, oh, the deep nuance of Howard Lutnick. This guy's gross, right?
Interviewer/Podcast Host
So how come Bill Gates and all these other people could hang around him and not see what you saw? Or did they see it and ignore it or.
Howard Lutnick
No, they participated. Right? That's what his M.O. was, you know, get a massage. Get a massage. And what happened in that massage room, I assume was on video. This guy was the greatest blackmailer ever, blackmailed people. That's how we had money.
Interviewer/Podcast Host
So, so what happened to those videos? Why is there now such a dearth of information when you know Donald Trump's people are running the FBI and the.
Howard Lutnick
Doj, I assume way back when, they traded those videos in exchange for him getting that 18 month sentence which allowed him to have visits and be out of jail. I mean, he's a serial sex offender. How could he get 18 months and be able to go to his office during the day and have visitors and stuff? Must have been a trade. So my assumption, I have no knowledge, but my assumption is there was a trade for the videos because there were people on those videos.
Interviewer/Podcast Host
And have you talked to Donald Trump about this and shared your theory?
Howard Lutnick
No. I mean, he knows the story, right? But like my story that, you know, I was the one and done with the guy. He knows that story, but that's it.

Narrator/Commentator
At a time that many people are also calling the Trump government shutdown, the Trump Jeffrey Epstein shutdown because one of the reasons that Donald Trump ordered maga. Mike Johnson, the Republican speaker of the House to order all the MAGA Republicans not even to show up to work. Right. They didn't show up to Congress, the Republicans on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday, the key days, the day of the shutdown and the days leading up to the shutdown. Because if Congress were to be in session, then MAGA Mike Johnson would have to swear in Congresswoman elect Adelita Grijalva from Arizona 7th congressional district who won by like over 45 points in her special election last week. Cause she would be the 218th signature for that discharge petition which would then force a vote to release the Epstein file. So one of the reasons that Donald Trump wants this government shutdown and MAGA Mike is not calling members of Congress in is cuz he wants to use that as an excuse not to swear in the Democratic Congresswoman. Electricity Adelita Grijala, Just follow the Epstein files. Follow the money. Yep. And follow the Epstein files and you'll get an answer to a lot of what is going on right now. Now, Democratic Congress member Jamie Raskin, he made that same point yesterday. Play this clip.
Democratic Congress Member (Jamie Raskin)
And it also is not lost on anyone that shutting the government down allows them not to swear in our new colleague Ms. Grijalva from Arizona, who would be the 218th signature to discharge the Epstein files and to put a vote on that on the House floor. So it's convenient for them to shut the government down and they're not interested in making government work for our constituents.
Narrator/Commentator
And here's what he had to say outside of Capitol Hill. Remember, all the Democrats have showed up for work. No Republicans are there, just the Democrats are working here. Play this clip.
Democratic Congress Member (Jamie Raskin)
And we demand complete accountability. We asked for nothing there more than Donald Trump asked for, than Cash Patel asked for, then Pam Bondi asked for. They all said they wanted them released. Then they had a thousand FBI agents working around the clock and guess what? They saw Donald Trump's name apparently all over the files and they came back and said nothing to see here. We're going to sweep it under the rug. Call off the talking points, everybody. Now we want to cover up the Epstein files. We're not going to allow them to do that. When we get back to work, we're going to reopen the government. We are going to resume health care for the American people and we're going to release the Epstein files.
Narrator/Commentator
Meanwhile, the House Oversight Democrats posted the following image right there, right in front of speaker of the House Mike Johnson's office. It's a photo of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein right there. Let's take a look right here at this Wall Street Journal article because I thought they broke a really powerful story here and they've been doing a good job breaking these stories. So the story right here by the Wall Street Journal is called the following the Wall street firms that kept ties with Jeffrey Epstein until the end From TD bank to Honeycomb Partners, several hedge funds and banks were linked to the wealthy sex offender Jeffrey Epstein never got kicked out of Wall Street's VIP club. Epstein's banking and investment activities in the years before his 2019 death were more widespread than previously known, including accounts at several banks as well as large transactions with well known hedge funds, according to documents reviewed by the Wall Street Journal and people familiar with the matter. Epstein's estate has turned over to Congress a list of more than 20 banks that held accounts for Epstein and entities related to him, according to people familiar with the matter. The House Oversight Committee is expecting to subpoena banks for their records. Some of the people said Epstein or Epstein related entities had accounts with several of those banks in his later years, including Wells Fargo, TD bank and First Bank Puerto Rico, according to these people. JP Morgan Chase has said it closed Epstein's accounts in 2013. Deutsche bank said it cut him off in 2018. To date, JP Morgan and Deutsche bank are the only banks that have been scrutinized by regulators and sued by victims over their ties to Epstein. The documents reviewed by the Wall Street Journal show that in the years before he died, Epstein moved at least $60 million into Honeycomb Partners. Honeycomb Partners and Investment Fund received $13.5 million from a hedge fund run by Paul Tuda Jones and sold $15 million dollars worth of private company shares to crypto investor Blockchain Capital. And again you see massive movements of money moving $60 million to Honeycomb Partners between 2016 and 2019. Says the firm is run by David Faisal, who was a star portfolio manager at Steve Cohen's Point72 hedge fund before he left in 2025. Faisal recently told clients that he was returning their money, saying he saw fewer investment opportunities. And then Honeycomb claims that they notified U.S. authorities six years ago that trusts affiliated with Epstein had invested in the fund, immediately instructed their redemption and kept the government informed so that assets could be seized for the benefit of victims. No one at Honeycomb ever had any personal or professional relationships with him is what they said, and all the others are denying, you know, any wrongdoing as well. So we have that going on and then I'll just leave you with Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva, who's just standing outside of the Capitol right now, ready to be sworn in, ready to represent Arizona's 7th congressional district. But MAGA Mike Johnson's refusing to swear her in. Watch what she says. Let's play it.
Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva
It is day two here in D.C. look at me. I'm surrounded by all of this beautiful. These beautiful structures, these beautiful people all here to work and. Am I sworn in yet? No. Do I know when I'm gonna get sworn in? No. Speaker Johnson has left the building. And unfortunately, what that means for us is Southern Arizona does not have a voice here to advocate for you. You also don't have services in District. I need to get sworn in in order for that to happen. Every day that I am here without being sworn in, Southern Arizona loses. Reach out to Speaker Johnson. Let him know that I need to get sworn in.
Narrator/Commentator
Well, there you have it, folks. Powerful stuff right there. And you heard right there what Howard Lutnick, the Commerce Secretary, had to say about Donald Trump. He goes. Lutnick goes, I'm one and done with the guy. But Donald Trump, I can't speak for him, but it was obvious to me the guy was a creep.
Howard Lutnick
Huh.

Episode: Trump Gets Implicated by Top Cabinet Member Over Dark Past
Date: October 2, 2025
In this intense episode of The MeidasTouch Podcast, the brothers dive into explosive new claims from Howard Lutnick — former Trump Commerce Secretary and Jeffrey Epstein’s former neighbor — implicating Donald Trump in the ongoing Epstein scandal. The conversation exposes previously undisclosed details about Epstein’s “creepy” demeanor, the alleged awareness of Trump and other elites, and how the government shutdown may be linked to efforts to suppress the release of the Epstein files. The episode blends investigative insights, the latest news from Congress, and trademark Meiselas brother banter to keep democracy — and their loyal "MeidasMighty" following — at the forefront.
Background: Lutnick was Epstein's next-door neighbor in Manhattan around 2005 and gave a candid interview revealing his unsettling encounter with Epstein.
Lutnick recounts visiting Epstein’s home at the invitation of Epstein’s assistant, being shown a living room with a massage table surrounded by candles, and Epstein’s suggestive comments.
Lutnick's Reaction: He and his wife immediately left, and he vowed never to be alone with Epstein again. He claims he had no further contact with Epstein, either professionally or socially.
“My wife and I decided that I will never be in the room with that disgusting person ever again.”
— Howard Lutnick (06:23)
Lutnick insists it was obvious to anyone upon meeting Epstein that he was "gross,” challenging the claims of other powerful figures who say they didn’t know about Epstein’s crimes.
He accuses Epstein of being a "world class blackmailer," who maintained influence and escaped serious punishment through blackmailing high-profile associates.
“This guy was the greatest blackmailer ever, blackmailed people. That's how we had money.”
— Howard Lutnick (08:20)
When asked about Trump, Lutnick responds that he was “one and done” with Epstein, but that Trump was not — implying much greater closeness and knowledge.
“Trump knows the whole story. I was one and done with this guy. Trump was not one and done with this guy.”
— Howard Lutnick (09:15)
Lutnick speculates the infamous 18-month sentence Epstein received was the result of trading incriminating videos he possessed on powerful figures.
He suggests that "people on those videos" protected Epstein in exchange for their silence.
“Must have been a trade [for the videos] because there were people on those videos.”
— Howard Lutnick (09:09)
The hosts argue that Trump is using the government shutdown to prevent the swearing-in of Democratic Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva.
Her swearing-in would provide the 218th signature necessary for the discharge petition to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files.
“Follow the money. Yep. And follow the Epstein files and you'll get an answer to a lot of what is going on right now.”
— Narrator (11:41)
Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin and others highlight the shutdown is being used as a pretext to stall the release of these files, with Democrats continuing to work in Congress while Republicans do not.
“…shutting the government down allows them not to swear in our new colleague Ms. Grijalva from Arizona, who would be the 218th signature to discharge the Epstein files…”
— Rep. Jamie Raskin (11:54)
“We are going to resume health care for the American people and we're going to release the Epstein files.”
— Rep. Jamie Raskin (13:07)
Grijalva appears outside the Capitol, unable to represent Arizona’s 7th district until sworn in; she calls out MAGA Speaker Mike Johnson for blocking her swearing-in and urges constituents to demand action.
“…every day that I am here without being sworn in, Southern Arizona loses. Reach out to Speaker Johnson. Let him know that I need to get sworn in.”
— Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva (16:53)
On Epstein’s Character:
“This guy's gross. Right? With my wife… the guy's gross. This was not, oh, the deep nuance of Howard Lutnick. This guy's gross, right?”
— Howard Lutnick (07:57)
On Elite Complicity:
“No, they participated. Right? That's what his M.O. was, you know, get a massage. Get a massage. And what happened in that massage room, I assume was on video.”
— Howard Lutnick (08:17)
On the Motive Behind the Shutdown:
“It's convenient for them to shut the government down and they're not interested in making government work for our constituents.”
— Rep. Jamie Raskin (12:10)

The MeidasTouch brothers maintain their sharp, witty, combative tone, but give gravity to the seriousness of the Epstein allegations and potential cover-ups. Their commentary weaves factual reporting, pointed criticism of GOP leadership, and rallying calls for transparency and action from their audience.
This episode is a deep and highly-charged exploration of the latest Epstein-Trump developments, the disturbing access and influence Epstein maintained among political and financial elites, and how current congressional maneuvering is obstructing accountability. With direct quotes, multiple perspectives, and a persistent push for investigative transparency, the podcast delivers both information and urgent civic engagement, making it a must-listen (or must-read) for those following the evolving Epstein files and the accountability of power in America.
