Having a catastrophic Thursday morning. First, Donald Trump is dealing with the MAGA Republicans rebelling against him, essentially cursing him out. I'll show you some receipts there. Donald Trump has been exposed manipulating the latest inflation data to claim that inflation regarding housing and rent is basically zero percent. I will show you the receipts there. And the New York Times has just done an expose showing Donald Trump's deep friendship with Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s. And this was a sickening expose, but one the American people need to hear before. The Epstein files are supposed to be released tomorrow. And we sure know that Donald Trump is going to try and hide it. Just a reminder, hit subscribe. The Midas Touch YouTube channel is on its way to 6 million subscribers. As you know, we're under attack by the Trump regime. They want us shut down. You may think you're subscribed. Double check that you actually are subscribed. Let's start with the New York Times expose on Donald Trump's relationship with Epstein during the 1990s through the early 2000s. The article is called Don's Best Friend How Epstein and Trump Bonded over the Pursuit of Women. The president tried to minimize their friendship, but documents and interviews reveal an intense and complicated relationship. Another way to describe that is deeply, deeply creepy. Chasing women was a game of ego and dominance. Female bodies were their currency. The two men forged a bond intense enough to leave others who knew them with the impression that they were each other's closest friends. And folks, it gets sickening. So an assistant who worked late for Epstein recalled that sometimes when the office emptied out, Epstein would check to see that she was at her desk and he would put Trump on speakerphone. Trump, she said, seemed to enjoy regaling Epstein with tales of his sexual exploits. And Epstein seemed to delight in how uncomfortable it made her to, to listen to Trump talk about those sexual exploits. She remembered one call in the mid-1990s on which the two men discussed how much pubic hair a particular woman had and whether there was enough for Mr. Epstein to floss his teeth with a child sex trafficker. Epstein mocking and talking about that. Disgusting. Disgusting. Also, Epstein frequently mentioned his friendship with Trump, according to several accusers, telling one that he had a bedroom reserved at Mar a Lago. This comes at the same time where Ghislaine Maxwell is now proceeding pro per meaning she's representing herself in a habeas corpus petition to overturn her conviction in New York by claiming new evidence has just come to light about the FBI's conduct that should lead to her release. You know what she's going to argue? She's gonna argue that Donald Trump has said that her prosecution is a hoax, that the Epstein files are one big hoax. So if the President saying it. Are you saying my conviction is a hoax? And you fired the former prosecutor, Maureen Comey, who is the lead prosecutors and you said that her dad was involved in the hoax. So if the president saying that, shouldn't I go free? As I told you, she would use those arguments. Also Oversight Democrats, Democrats from the House Oversight Committee released additional photos from the Epstein estate to the public. Some horrific stuff here as well. Um, you have, you know, Epstein talking about the age of girls, the weight, it's, it's disgusting stuff. We'll also be covering, of course, when the Epstein files get released tomorrow. Now, as I mentioned as well, the receipts about these MAGA Republicans who are off that Donald Trump and MAGA Mike Johnson have refused to allow even a vote on the Affordable Care act subsidy extension before the holidays. You'll recall a discharge petition has now been effectuated. It's been signed by the requisite 218 members for Republicans joined with the Democrats to sign Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries discharge petition to extend the Affordable Care act subsidies for a three year period. But MAGA Mike, as you know in the video I did earlier today, has shut down the House of Representatives. He said everybody's going on vacation to prevent a vote on this until Congress gets back sometime in mid January, early to mid January. Right. This was Maga Mike's tactic as well to shut down the House, not to swear in Adelitogrijalva. And it is noteworthy that right as these Epstein files are supposed to be released, Maga Mike orders everybody to go Home. I think that's a little bit suspicious. Take a look as you have Mike Lawler and Kylie, these MAGA Republicans out there, that this Affordable Care act extension vote is not happening. Cuz they know that it's gonna lose. It's going to lead to a blue wave. They're worried about themselves, okay? They know it's gonna cause a blue tsunami. What they should be worried about, what I'm worried about is the American people right now. Who's who are going to lose their health care. 20 to 24 million Americans who can't afford plans under the Affordable Care Act. This is a crisis. This is a crisis. Here, play this clip.

I am pissed for the American people. This is absolute bullshit. And it's absurd that we are in a body with 435 members. Everybody has a responsibility to serve their district, to serve their constituents.

What do you say though to the speaker who's not going to give you a vote on this ACA extension? That's a failure of leadership. I mean we have, you know, members on both sides who believe this is an urgent issue. And, and it is for, for all of our members in terms of what their constituents are going to have to deal with in the start of the new year. So what's wrong with having now while.

All of this is taking place, while this crisis is taking place? Just to be clear, what is Dr. Oz talking about? Who, who now is one of the leaders with within the health department. Here's what he talked about and it was in connection with, I guess, gender affirming care. As the Trump regime, you know, wants to attack immigrants in the transgender community. This is what Oz was talking about today. Play this clip.

Vaginal plastic, a vaginoplasty, a procedure a child does not need, cost $60,000. Shockingly, a phalloplasty, the creation of a penis, costs on average in America, according to this data, high quality, $150,000 per child. I do believe with doing some work, that these prices have continued to increase with increasing manufactured demand. And I must point out that the creation of a vagina, in that case of a phalloplasty or a scrotoplasty where you add testicles, that's extra.

Now, as I mentioned earlier, one of the things that Donald Trump was exposed doing today is manipulating the inflation data. Because all of a sudden it's like, wow, so inflation just dropped pretty dramatically all of a sudden. What? Especially in housing and rent. So wait a minute. In October and November, all of a sudden, housing rental prices just dropped completely? Like, how did that happen? Oh, wait a minute. The Bureau of Labor Statistics just assumed rent and oer was zero for October. Zero. So they acted like there was no inflation. They just put the number zero. It wasn't zero. But because the government was shut down, that's what they did. They just reported zero. Also, one of the things they did to show a massive drop in infl is they only use the data basically from Black Friday sales to show, look, all these goods and products and clothing. Look at all the massive drop that just took place. So they didn't use anything but the Black Friday sales. Or they primarily use the Black Friday sales because they said, well, the government was shut down all this. So we're just gonna use Black Friday basically as our only metric. I mean, this stuff is getting exposed over and over again. You know what else has been exposed? The shell game that Donald Trump played. As this one account says, every single thing Trump said last night in his speech was a lie, including the money that he said he was giving to the U.S. troops. Right? So Donald Trump said that he was giving $1,776 as a warrior dividend to our troops. Remember he said that? Well, as Thomas Novi writes, Trump's $1,776 checks for 1.45 for 1.45 million troops announced Wednesday night come from congressionally allocated reconciliation funds intended to subsidize Housing allowances for service members. A senior official confirmed to Defense One. Great work here. By Defense One. Just think about that. Trump is taking housing allowance, right? And this all ties together, right? He's manipulating the housing data. We have a housing crisis, but when it comes to our troops, he's taking their housing allowance. And he's saying, I'm giving you a $1,000 and $776 check as a gimmick, as our editor in chief, Ron Philip Koski writes. So Trump is taking money out of their housing allowance approved by Congress and giving it to them in a bonus. So it looks like it came from him. It's just a shell game with the military pay from the ultimate con man. And that's the thing, you know, these housing allowances, it's a big deal. And Congress has continued to try to press the Defense Department that they need to use it for what it's actually allocated for subsidizing housing, housing allowances. But the Trump regime, you saw what Donald Trump does, a gimmick. Now, with all of this going on, with this shell game taking place, you can never lose sight of Donald Trump enriching himself, right? This is ultimately about also enriching Donald Trump. So what went down this morning? So Trump Media, which in my opinion is a failing media company, that's the parent company to Truth Social. We've reported how every quarter they lose tens of millions of dollars. The stock was absolutely tanking. Remember all the reports I was doing how it basically completely tanked? All these people lost their money. So Trump Media today announced a $6 billion merger with a fusion company called TAE Technologies, a fusion power company. Now, there are currently no commercial plants producing electricity using fusion, which is a futuristic technology that carries the potential to generate abundant energy without the risks associated with nuclear power. CNBC writer Kevin Bruminger writes. Okay, so with all of Donald Trump deregulating all of AI with all of the data centers, Trump Media right now acquires or merges or mergers with this fusion company that is also dependent on the Department of Energy for approvals and for grants. And so in my opinion, again, First Amendment opinion that I am giving here, right, the fusion company is, it's like, well, if we just join with Trump, we'll get all of these approvals and we'll utilize, we'll utilize Trump's position, and this will allow us to just streamline everything that we need to do to cut ahead of the line and we can just kind of plow forward. So Trump Media now is a parent company for this, and of course, in my opinion, this is because Donald Trump is using his access to the Department of Energy to enrich himself. So the stock now goes up 33% on this announcement. I don't know how anybody can be okay with this. This is patently unacceptable, in my opinion. Finally, let me just share with you at Trump's national economic adviser Kevin Hassett was on MSNBC and he was asked, why does Trump exaggerate all his number? Why is he lying about all the numbers? I want you to watch Hassett's response. Play this clip Struck.

We talked earlier in the show. Steve Rattner was here, helped us with it with a fact check. You know, the President does have some good news to talk about, about the economy, gas prices, for instance. But why, why the need to constantly sort of exaggerate? Gas prices are $3 and not 250. You know, the idea of suggesting that, that I think a lot of the impact of inflation, yes, some progress made, but not as much as he says, why not just tell the present American people and say, hey, look, this is, these are the facts. I can understand how you feel, why they need to exaggerate.
Political Commentator/Guest
You know, I'd have to go back and look at the specific language, but, you know, and I hate coming back with questions for you guys, but, but the President, in order to make sure that everybody understood the facts and the facts were documented, spent a lot of time with us with our team preparing slides that showed the data for what he was talking about in the speech. And in some networks while he was speaking, they showed the slides, and in some networks they didn't. And I just thought that was kind of unusual. I was expecting when I was flipping around to just see the slides everywhere. Gosh, we spent so much more time on them. But, you know, I think that the President had documentation for the facts that he was saying they were in the slides. And so if there's a specific number you'd like to talk about, maybe he misspoke or something, I'm happy to talk about it. But I wonder.
