Ukraine isn't messing around, although Donald Trump is messing around. What you saw right there was an Explosion at a Russian grad unguided rocket MLRs in the occupied Donetsk region. Ukraine is striking inside those regions and deep inside Russia as well. What is the Trump regime doing? They were withholding key Patriot missile systems to Ukraine only for Donald Trump to then claim that he didn't know his own regime was withholding it from Ukraine. And then the Trump regime blamed Pete Hegseth, the former Weekend Fox host, and said that Hegseth did it on his own without consulting anybody. Was even worse than that because at the disastrous press conference that Donald Trump held yesterday, when he was asked by Kaitlan Collins of cnn, hey, who ordered that those Patriot missiles and other weapons stop going to Ukraine? Who ordered it? Donald. Donald Trump goes, I know. Why are you asking me? I don't know. Here, play this clip.
Donald Trump
So who ordered the pause last week?
Host
I don't know.
Donald Trump
Why don't you tell me? That's a question.
Greg Abbott
Go ahead.
Host
What the hell kind of answer is that? And here's the story from cnn. Hegseth did not inform the White House before he authorized a pause on weapons shipments to Ukraine. Say so let me just get this straight here. Someone who is putting his war plans on signal. This is the second time. If you take Trump's own admission that Hexith has withheld weapons without Trump knowing about it yet this guy remains the Secretary of Defense. No, the buck stops with Donald Trump. And in this caca stock racy, this despicable and incompetent regime, this substitutes for the norm and never normal lies. It's speaking about what we should never normalize. OCCRP got the following exclusive. Top Trump advisor Sergio Gore. His name ain't Sergio Gore. He was actually born inside the Soviet Union, the birthplace of Trump's director of personnel. One of the top positions in the White House has been the subject of media speculation until now. He's been called by many in D.C. the most powerful man you've known. Never heard of. Okay, where is he from? The Times of Malta and OCCRP have obtained a notarized Maltese property record that shows Gore's origins. He was born Sergio Gorchevsky on November 30, 1986 in Uzbekistan, part of the Soviet Union. Okay, and why isn't he submitting to the normal background check that most other people submit to? You would expect that to happen, but what else would you expect in the Trump regime? Have you seen this one, folks? The Pam Bondi in action figure? There she is right there with the Epstein files on her desk. And she goes, it's on My desk. I'm going to release it. Oh, wait a minute. The Epstein files don't exist anymore. I don't know where that, where that went. Did you see, by the way, what they tried to do to distract from the fact that they claim the Epstein files don't exist anymore? How just duplicitous was this move? So after they said no such thing as the Epstein files and then they released that video footage that was missing a minute of the critical. One of the critical minutes just went missing on this video. Well, then the FBI launched a criminal investigation of former CIA Director John Brennan and James Comey, according to DOJ sources. Ooh, I guess we're supposed to be distracted from that. When you all promised you were going to release the Epstein files and now you're hiding it because Donald Trump is most likely all over the files and he's all over the files that have already been released. By the way, folks, a Trump appointed judge, Judge Gallagher in Maryland was not putting up with any of Donald Trump's shi. You know what I'm about to say. So Judge Gallagher was appointed by Trump in 2019, and she on her own took judicial notice of the conditions in Sea Cot, the concentration camp in El Salvador where human torture takes place. She says the United nations did a report on human torture. And now you, the Trump regime, are claiming that this is not a place where torture takes place. You have consistently provided false information to this court. The court is absolutely livid. And that is coming from a Trump appointed judge. All lies, all the time from the Trump regime. So, as this one account says, I guess we're going to have to throw out all the government data between 2025 and 2028, because it's just a bunch of BS. Remember how we told you how all the civil servants were basically being pushed out? The experts, the qualified people, the veterans who were working in the various government agencies, quietly just worksman like, doing their job. How Doge pushed all of them out. Well, I already flagged last week when the Trump regime claimed that 147,000 new jobs were added. Hmm. After the ADP private payroll data the day before said that 33,000 jobs were lost in the private sector. And so while Doge was cutting all of these government jobs, the Trump regime claims that all of these new jobs were created in government sectors and a lot of new teaching jobs were created. That doesn't sound very logical to me. And of course, Trump picked the number 47. 147,047 president. And again, like, here's what the U.S. department of labor published today under Trump. Native born workers have accounted for all job gains since January. American workers first. They're saying 100%. They're leaving no room for any other types of jobs. Only native born Americans accounted for all job gains. Literally they're just making up stats and they're making up the dumbest, most obvious lies in everything that they are doing. But folks, we can question, according to the regime and the regime sycophants, we can question what they're doing, right. It's a loser mentality to try to say who's doing things wrong, Right? So you had Greg Abbott from governor of Texas. He was asked a lot of questions. We're trying to figure out what the hell happened in Kerr County. Why did over a hundred people, many of them young girls, that's unacceptable. Why were there six critical vacancies in Texas at the National Weather Service, the key meteorologist coordinator forced out by Doge that would have been somewhat integrally involved in what went down. Why were local officials saying they did not get the warnings that they needed from the feds? Did we federalize a lot of these swift boats and other key emergency response vehicles? I know you're making a whole performative scene out of it in California to terrorize the community. Did you get into action at the right time when people knew this storm was coming? In Texas, we're allowed to ask those questions, but according to Greg Abbott of Texas, no, we can't. Only losers asked that question. And Greg Abbott, this is what he goes. He goes, here in Texas, we like football. In Texas we like football. And in football, you don't, you don't blame people in football, you just score touchdowns. The hell are you talking about? We want to understand why 100 people are dead. Why they didn't get the warnings they needed at the right time. That's unacceptable. And this answer by him is unacceptable. Here, play this clip.
Greg Abbott
You ask, I'm going to use your words, who's to blame. Know this. That's the word choice of losers. Let me explain one thing about Texas and that is Texas. Every square inch of our state cares about football. You could be in Hunt, Texas, Huntsville, Texas, Houston, Texas. Any size community that care about football, high school, Friday Night lights, college football or pro. And know this, every football team makes mistakes. The losing teams are the ones that try to point out who's to blame. The championship teams are the ones who say, don't worry about it, man, we got this. We're going to make sure that we go score Again, that we're going to win this game. The way winners talk is not to point fingers. They talk about solutions. What Texas is all about is solutions.
Host
And speaking about unacceptable. Remember this moment yesterday during Donald Trump's disastrous press conference where he says to the reporter, you're talking about Epstein. Why are you talking about. We're done talking about Epstein. There's so many other things we should be talking about here. Play this clip.
Donald Trump
Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy's been talked about for years. You're asking. We have Texas, we have this. We have all of the things. And are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable. You want to waste the time and you feel like answering. I don't mind answering. I mean, I can't believe you're asking a question, Epstein, at a time like this where we're having some of the greatest success and. And also tragedy.
Host
You're the one who's been talking about, your regime has been talking about. They said the files were on the desk. They were going to release it. But of course you weren't. You're all over the files. You're in the depositions, you're in the flight logs. You're in the call logs, Epstein. Traffic girls from Mar a Lago. That is public record that that happened. You said Epstein's a great guy who likes women on the younger side. You wish Ghislaine Maxwell well at her sex trafficking trial. Epstein said that you guys were best friends, and he called off the friendship because you were, like, ripping him off and. And lying repeatedly. So what is it, Donald? What is it? Okay, so then Donald Trump says, this is how he describes the attack on Iran. He goes, you know what I did? I did skedaddle. I said skedaddle. And do you know what skedaddle means? Skedaddle means skedaddle. Here, play this clip.
Donald Trump
Not only the pilots. I mean, those machines flew for 37 straight hours. They didn't stop. They went skedaddled. You know the word skedaddle? I mean, skedaddle. They dropped the bombs and somebody said, skedaddle. Let's get the hell out of here.
Host
All right. And also Donald Trump at that disastrous press conference, talking about raising tariffs on copper, 50%, pharmaceuticals, 200%. He says, more letters are going to go out to countries. I'm tariffing these other countries because he couldn't do any deals in 90 days in Canada. They view the United States as the biggest threat to Canada right now over any other nation. And this is what Donald Trump has done. To these United States. We'll keep you posted every step of the way though, folks. Hit subscribe help us get to 6 million subscribers. Summary of "Trump Has Devastating Day as His Term Blows Up in His Face" – The MeidasTouch Podcast
Release Date: July 9, 2025
In this episode of The MeidasTouch Podcast, hosts Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas delve into a tumultuous day in the Trump administration, analyzing a series of events that have significantly undermined President Donald Trump's governance. The discussion is sharp, incisive, and laden with critical insights into the administration's handling of both domestic and international issues.
The episode opens with the hosts addressing recent developments in the Ukraine conflict, highlighting an explosion at a Russian-grade unguided rocket site in the Donetsk region. They criticize the Trump administration for its mishandling of critical Patriot missile systems meant for Ukraine.
Host (02:37): "Ukraine isn't messing around, although Donald Trump is messing around. ... the Trump regime were withholding key Patriot missile systems to Ukraine only for Donald Trump to then claim that he didn't know his own regime was withholding it from Ukraine."
The hosts emphasize the contradictory statements from Trump, who attributed the halt in missile shipments to Pete Hegseth, a former Fox host, rather than taking full responsibility.
Donald Trump (03:44): "So who ordered the pause last week?"
Donald Trump (03:46): "I don't know. Why don't you tell me? That's a question."
This segment underscores the administration's lack of accountability and clear communication in foreign policy matters.
Moving forward, the hosts expose information about Sergio Gore, a top adviser in the Trump administration, revealing his origins in the Soviet Union. This revelation raises questions about the transparency of the administration regarding the backgrounds of its key personnel.
Host (03:50): "OCCRP got the following exclusive. Top Trump advisor Sergio Gore. ... He was actually born inside the Soviet Union..."
The lack of standard background checks is criticized, painting a picture of a regime that overlooks essential security protocols.
A significant portion of the discussion centers on the elusive Epstein files. The hosts accuse the Trump administration of obstruction and misinformation related to Jeffrey Epstein's case.
Host (05:10): "You have consistently provided false information to this court...They said no such thing as the Epstein files and then they released that video footage that was missing a minute of the critical."
They highlight the disappearance of crucial footage and the subsequent FBI investigation into former intelligence officials, suggesting a deliberate attempt to divert attention.
The podcast highlights Judge Gallagher, a Trump-appointed judge in Maryland, who has taken a firm stance against the administration's false narratives.
Host (07:15): "Judge Gallagher was appointed by Trump in 2019, and she on her own took judicial notice of the conditions in Sea Cot, the concentration camp in El Salvador where human torture takes place."
This section underscores internal conflicts within the administration and the judiciary's role in challenging governmental abuses.
The hosts scrutinize the Trump administration's assertions about job creation, contrasting them with independent data sources.
Host (08:30): "Trump regime claimed that 147,000 new jobs were added... after the ADP private payroll data the day before said that 33,000 jobs were lost in the private sector."
They argue that the administration is manipulating statistics to present a misleading picture of economic health, particularly emphasizing the focus on native-born workers.
Host (09:00): "Only native born Americans accounted for all job gains. Literally they're just making up stats and they're making up the dumbest, most obvious lies in everything that they are doing."
A critical examination is made of Governor Greg Abbott's response to the tragic events in Kerr County, questioning his prioritization and transparency.
Host (09:45): "Greg Abbott was asked a lot of questions. ... Why were there six critical vacancies in Texas at the National Weather Service...Why did over a hundred people, many of them young girls...?"
Resident Greg Abbott's defense, equating Texas's response to football strategy, is castigated as dismissive of genuine concerns.
Greg Abbott (10:40): "Every football team makes mistakes. The losing teams are the ones that try to point out who's to blame. ... What Texas is all about is solutions."
The hosts argue that Abbott's analogy trivializes the severity of the disaster and deflects accountability.
The conversation returns to Trump's handling of inquiries related to Jeffrey Epstein, portraying it as evasive and dismissive.
Donald Trump (11:52): "Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? ... this creep? That is unbelievable."
Host (12:22): "You said Epstein's a great guy who likes women on the younger side... what is it, Donald? What is it?"
These exchanges are used to illustrate the administration's reluctance to address serious allegations and their attempts to shift focus away from damaging topics.
The hosts recount an incident where Trump used the term "skedaddle" in a press conference, critiquing his choice of language during a military operation.
Donald Trump (13:16): "They went skedaddled. You know the word skedaddle?"
The simplistic terminology is portrayed as indicative of a lack of seriousness and understanding in critical defense matters.
In the final segment, the hosts discuss Trump's aggressive stance on increasing tariffs and the deteriorating relationship with Canada.
Host (13:31): "Donald Trump at that disastrous press conference, talking about raising tariffs on copper, 50%, pharmaceuticals, 200%... They view the United States as the biggest threat to Canada right now over any other nation."
This section emphasizes the potential economic repercussions of such policies and the isolationist tendencies of the administration.
