Donald Trump looked absolutely horrible as he arrived in Washington, D.C. last night after a disastrous landing in Florida. He was in Florida for a PGA tournament at one of his clubs, Indoor Rall. It turns out it was the worst PGA tournament in the history of the league. It was the least attended, lowest energy. But the reason Donald Trump looks so horrible, in addition to his cognitive and phys decline, we've been talking about why it looks like he was punched in the face, why it looks like he's seeing ghosts right now is he got a dire ultimatum from Iran after Donald Trump was making these deranged social media posts aboard Air Force One during this disastrous landing, Donald Trump ranted and raved like a lunatic on his social media platform, making it seem that the United States was going to send naval ships into the Strait of Hormuz and escort some of the tankers that were there. So Iran immediately responded. And one of Iran's top officials, Iran's National Security Commission Chairman Abraham Azizi, posted the following warning Any American interference in the new maritime regime of the Strait of Hormuz will be considered a violation of the ceasefire. The Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf would not be managed by Donald Trump's delusional posts. No one would believe blame game scenarios. Now just look at Donald Trump and Don Jr. Walking back to the White House right here. Donald Trump needed Don Jr. To help him walk and carry his bags as Iran was just piling on. You then had Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson post the following the President of the United States openly describes the unlawful seizure of Iranian vessels as piracy, brazenly boasting that we act like pirates. This was no verbal slip. It was a direct and damning admission of the criminal nature of their actions against international maritime navigation. The international community, UN Member states, and the UN Secretary General must firmly reject any normalization of such blatant violations of international law. And that's referring to Donald Trump's deranged speech that he gave in Florida where he said, I guess the United States has become a bunch of pirates and it's quite profitable when we steal Iranian cargo ships. Now, when Donald Trump was aboard Air Force One, as we were heading into Monday. Now today is Monday. Um, but Donald Trump does market manipulation with his outside chief propagandist, a guy by the name of Barack Ravid from Axios. Every Sunday, Donald Trump and Barack Ravid poll this. Every Friday, Donald Trump and Barack Ravid pull this. It is a racket that we call out here on the Midas Touch network because in my opinion, it is patently intended to manipulate the markets. While nothing material has changed in that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and firmly under the control of Iran. So Barack Ravid last night, while Donald Trump was aboard Air Force One having this disastrous landing, Donald Trump panics and he goes, ah, it's Monday, I forgot, it's market manipulation Monday. I was so caught up in the disastrous low energy PGA event in Doral. So then Barack Ravid and Trump speak, and here's what speaks and Barack Ravid posts the following Trump the US Will begin escorting ships stuck in the Strait of Hormuz. If this process is disrupted, we will deal with it by force. So on that message, the oil future prices started going down. This is part of Donald Trump's jawboning technique where he manipulates the oil markets and the stock market. Then Donald Trump posted the following social media post on truth Social countries from all over the world, almost all of which are not involved in the Middle Eastern dispute going on so visibly and violently for all to see, have asked the United States if we could help free up their ships which are locked in the Strait of Hormuz on something which they have absolutely nothing to do with. They are merely neutral and innocent bystanders. For the good of Iran, the Middle east and the United States. We have told these countries that we will guide their ships safely out of these restricted waterways so that they can freely and ably get on with their business. Again, these are ships from areas of the world that are not in any way involved with that which is currently taking place in the Middle East. I've told my representatives to inform them that we will use best efforts to get their ships and crews safely out of the strait. So when you would read that you would say so is Donald Trump sending navy ships into the Strait of Hormuz to help escort some of these ships? That's how Iran was taking it at first. That's why you have these Iranian leaders saying the things that I just told you. Also, Iran issued issues a warning to ships close to the United Arab Emirates, indicating that if the US Indeed engages in a navy mission in the Strait of Hormuz, that the United States that. That Iran would strike the United Arab Emirates. Here's a message that just went out. Ships anchored near the Ras Al Khmer, uae, were suddenly told over the radio to leave and head toward Dubai with reports linking the warnings to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iran may be trying to clear the area or assert control. So ships were moving away for safety. And then the Wall Street Journal reported what Donald Trump was saying was just a pure bluff. The new initiative Trump announced to guide trapped ships out of the Strait of Hormuz doesn't currently involve US Navy warships escorting vessels through the strait, as Donald Trump said, according to senior US Officials, who then contradict what Donald Trump said. Rather, it is a process through which countries, insurance companies and shipping organizations can coordinate moving traffic through the strait. So Donald Trump puts that message out, manipulates the markets, then it's determined what he said is just a complete and utter lie. Meanwhile, Iran was basically preparing for open hostilities to resume. Okay, we're ready to fight this war. And then you have a statement coming out. Actually, that's not really what Donald Trump meant. I mean, how utterly embarrassing is that? Then US CENTCOM had to, like, clean this up for Donald Trump. So CENTCOM right now, which has been utterly compromised by this ridiculous Trump propaganda, in my opinion, which is sad because CENTCOM should be nonpartisan and non political, but they have to clean up this mess that Donald Trump created. And so this is what they write. They go, CENTCOM forces will begin Supporting Project Freedom May 4th to restore freedom of navigation. The mission directed by the President will support merchant vessels seeking to freely transit through the essential international trade corridor. Our support for this defensive mission is essential to regional security and the global economy as we also maintain the naval blockade. Admiral Brad Cooper said, notice the language there. This defensive mission is what they're saying. Okay, defensive mission. Then it goes on to say, Last week the U.S. department of State announced a new initiative in partnership with the Department of or the Defense Department to enhance coordination and information sharing among international partners in support of maritime security. So in other words, you're saying you're just re announcing what was already announced. Last week. But now Donald Trump is pretending that this is a naval mission to escort ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Do you realize how utterly deranged this is? Well, it gets worse because Donald Trump in the White House kept on posting AI photos of himself holding UNO cards. And then it says, I have all the cards. Yes, Donald, that's a bad thing. In uno, you want to have the least amount of cards. In uno, Our editor in chief, Ron Philip Kowski writes, in uno, that means you are losing. We posted on the Midas Touch account, bringing UNO cards when your opponent has a straight to. Which Iran's social media accounts then posted, yes, we have less cards because Iran, unlike Donald Trump, understands the way UNO works. By the way, when Donald Trump was landing in Washington, D.C. with that disastrous landing, he then had Marine One do a tour, if you will, of the East Potomac Golf Course. Remember back In December of 2025, we reported on the Midas Touch Network that Donald Trump was seizing control of the public golf courses and he wanted to turn them into Trump golf courses. Well, over the past week or so, Trump's been pushing that plan. In addition to the Triumphal Arch and the Golden Ballrooms and the Trump Kennedy center and all of these things. And the new proposal regarding this East Potomac park golf course, it, like, rips up all of this public land that was used for, like, flag football and running trials and all of these things that people loved about D.C. and he wants to turn it into some, like, bizarre, fancy golf course that nobody, that nobody at all wants right now, back to some of the warnings, though, that Iran is giving to Donald Trump. We also see that one of the top advisors to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, a guy by the name of Ali Akbar Velletti, says whoever tampers with the global lifeline will put themselves in a bind. And I'll just show you, I mean, how deeply unserious of a person Donald Trump is. I mean, we know this, but, like, you take a look what was going on in Mar a Lago with the guests that were there over this weekend. I mean, take a look right here. I censored out the face, but this is how a lot of the guests were dressed. You had Donald Trump at his Mar A Lago patio, and they had, like, weird singers. I'll just show you what was taking place. I mean, horrible voices. You had this taking place. Let's show you what was going down. And while Donald Trump is involved in that jester activity, that deeply unserious behavior, you have Iran's President Pizeschikian and Iran's Foreign Minister Oraghi taking calls with former allies of the United States. I mean, for example, you have Germany's foreign minister reaching out to his counterpart, Foreign Minister Aragchi, Foreign Minister Aragchi speaking with, with the French, speaking with others on a, on a bilateral basis. And meanwhile, meanwhile you have Iran social media accounts mocking Donald Trump with posts like this. This is 100% on brand. Here's what they posted of everything else.
H
We then land on top of it and we took over the ship, we took over the cargo. Very profitable business. Who would have thought we, we were doing that, were like pirates. We're sort of like pirates.
E
And then you have like lots of Trump propaganda outlets saying, well, it looks like Iran's planning to send dolphins loaded with explosives to attack American ships. And Iran has a dolphin army. And Iran's just mocking that. CENTCOM update, Persian Gulf dolphins have Trump on their kill list. Next they'll boycott his yacht parties and demand free Iranian. I mean, they're just mocking the hell out of the United States. Now, on a very serious note though, as well, all this is deeply serious, but it was reported that a tanker was attacked by multiple unknown projectiles on the Oman corridor of the Strait of Hormuz, kind of right near some of the area where some of those ships were evacuating. The attack happened just before Donald Trump announced unilateral U.S. nav operations in the Strait of Hormuz. Although it turned out what Donald Trump announced was actually we made an announcement last week about offering coordination with insurance companies and ships if they want to leave on their own. But the United States is not sending its ships through the Strait of Hormuz. And so the status quo remains unchanged. But it does seem Ron still controls the Strait of Hormuz. No insurance companies are going to insure ships to leave the Strait of Hormuz, or if they do, it's gonna be at an exorbitant price. No ships are going to be leaving. And so this is just more of Donald Trump's market manipulation for you. That's really what we see over and over again. And you know, look, go back to March, mid March, where Barack Ravid posted Donald Trump Inks Deal with International Coalition. They're heading into the Strait of Hormuz, remember? Then the oil plummeted. The price of oil plummeted. The futures. It's like, oh, the US Navy's going into the straight up Hormuz. They pull this every, it seems like every Sunday now there's a Friday manipulation, right as the markets are getting ready to close to bump it up for the week. Then as the market starts, they do it. They let the market kind of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, the markets go down. Then usually Thursday, Fridays, they pump it back up. I mean, it's the same cycle we've been seeing now, right? Episode: Trump has Disaster Landing as Iran Gives Dire Warning!!!
Hosts: Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas
In this episode, the Meiselas brothers dissect a chaotic series of events involving Donald Trump’s return to Washington D.C. after a disastrous trip to Florida, his provocative posts regarding U.S. naval action in the Strait of Hormuz, and the immediate, stern responses from Iranian officials. They connect these developments to market manipulation tactics, analyze the repercussions for international relations, and offer their signature blend of humor and incisive critique on Trump’s conduct. The show moves between serious analysis and satirical commentary as the brothers emphasize the dangers of Trump's unpredictability on the world stage.
[04:30] During his trip back, Trump posts frenzied messages on his social media, suggesting U.S. intervention in the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that American naval ships would escort tankers through the area.
[05:05] The Iranian response is immediate and severe, with officials like National Security Commission Chairman Abraham Azizi issuing public ultimatums in response to any U.S. interference.
“Any American interference in the new maritime regime of the Strait of Hormuz will be considered a violation of the ceasefire. The Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf would not be managed by Donald Trump’s delusional posts.”
— Abraham Azizi (Read at [05:30])
Further escalation occurs when Iran’s Foreign Ministry accuses the U.S. of “piracy,” referencing Trump’s boastful speech at Doral about the U.S. “stealing” Iranian cargo ships:
“I guess the United States has become a bunch of pirates and it’s quite profitable when we steal Iranian cargo ships.”
— Donald Trump (Paraphrased by hosts at [06:17])
[07:00] The hosts argue that Trump, in coordination with Axios reporter Barak Ravid, routinely manipulates oil and stock markets by leaking or posting provocative claims before major market openings and closings.
“It is a racket that we call out here on the Midas Touch network because in my opinion, it is patently intended to manipulate the markets.”
— Ben ([07:25])
The hosts present recent examples, suggesting that Trump’s Sunday night pronouncements are timed for market impact, followed by corrections or walk-backs from U.S. officials that reveal Trump’s claims as bluffs.
[09:44] The Wall Street Journal and U.S. officials clarify that no direct U.S. naval escort is happening, contradicting Trump’s rhetoric. CENTCOM (U.S. Central Command) issues a statement framing any U.S. actions as “supporting merchant freedom of navigation” rather than direct military intervention.
“Notice the language there: This defensive mission is what they’re saying. Okay, defensive mission…”
— Ben ([10:52])
[11:30] Trump shares manipulated images of himself holding UNO cards with the caption “I have all the cards.” The brothers (and Iranian social media) mock this blunder, noting holding more cards in UNO means you're losing.
“Yes, Donald, that’s a bad thing. In uno, you want to have the least amount of cards. In uno, that means you are losing.”
— Ben ([11:45])
[13:20] Top Iranian military advisor Ali Akbar Velayati warns that interfering with global shipping is a grave mistake, emphasizing the tangible security threats triggered by Trump's posture.
“Whoever tampers with the global lifeline will put themselves in a bind.”
— Ali Akbar Velayati (quoted by the hosts at [13:23])
The brothers criticize Trump’s unserious focus and behavior, especially amid heightened international tensions, contrasting this with Iran’s diplomatic engagement with traditional U.S. allies.
[14:48] The show highlights both right-wing media amplifying ludicrous claims (e.g., Iran training dolphins as bomb carriers), and Iran openly mocking these stories on social media.
“CENTCOM update: Persian Gulf dolphins have Trump on their kill list. Next, they’ll boycott his yacht parties and demand free Iranian…”
— Ben, quoting satirical Iranian social media ([15:12])
[15:22] Despite the bluster, a real tanker is reported attacked in the Oman corridor, underscoring that chaotic rhetoric increases danger even if U.S. policy doesn’t fundamentally change.
The brothers return to the core concern: Trump’s actions may leave the status quo unchanged, but keep insurance and shipping rates high due to ongoing risk and lack of coherent policy.
“No insurance companies are going to insure ships to leave the Strait of Hormuz, or if they do, it’s gonna be at an exorbitant price. No ships are going to be leaving. And so this is just more of Donald Trump’s market manipulation for you.”
— Ben ([16:25])
On Iran’s warnings:
“The Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf would not be managed by Donald Trump’s delusional posts.”
— Abraham Azizi (as read by Ben, [05:30])
On Trump’s UNO card meme:
“Yes, Donald, that’s a bad thing. In uno, you want to have the least amount of cards. In uno, that means you are losing.”
— Ben ([11:45])
On the seriousness of the crisis vs. Trump’s behavior:
“While Donald Trump is involved in that jester activity, that deeply unserious behavior, you have Iran’s President and Foreign Minister taking calls with former allies of the United States…”
— Ben ([12:55])
On U.S. market manipulation:
“It is a racket … patently intended to manipulate the markets.”
— Ben ([07:25])
The Meiselas brothers maintain their signature blend of pointed, unapologetic advocacy for democracy, legal analysis, and biting humor. They oscillate between deep concern for U.S. foreign policy and gleeful mockery of Trump’s gaffes, ensuring their audience is both informed and entertained.
For listeners seeking a thorough political breakdown with a dose of sharp satire, this episode spotlights the risks and absurdities of a news cycle dominated by erratic leadership and media spectacle.
