Donald Trump is having a terrible morning. His regime was just sued by the families of victims of those crimes against humanity. The regime is committing off the coast of Venezuela the war crimes where people are being killed off of the fishing boats. Family members of two Trinidadian men who were killed in a U.S. boat strike in October have sued the U.S. government, accusing it of wrongful death and extrajudication. The lawsuit is the first of its kind to be filed against the Trump regime. Can you say discovery? And the family members are saying these people were in drug dealers, they were on a fishing boat, they were murdered in these extrajudicial killings and this family is demanding answers. Also, another performer has withdrawn from the Kennedy center and said, Donald, I quit. This is utter humiliation for the Trump regime as Donald Trump has illegally called the Kennedy center, the Trump Kennedy center, vandalizing it and destroying it. It was once profitable and very, very popular. People like going to the Kennedy Center. Then Donald Trump desecrated it like he desecrates everything. Here's a statement from Philip Glass. After a thoughtful consideration, I've decided to withdraw my symphony number 15, Lincoln from the John F. Kennedy center for the Performing arts Symphony number 15 is a portrait of Abraham Lincoln and the value of the Kennedy cent are in direct conflict with the message of the symphony. Therefore, I feel an obligation to withdraw this symphony premiere from the Kennedy center under its current leadership. And you've seen the interviews I've done with Ben Folds, who quit back in February last year. February. And there was now a massive exodus away from the Kennedy Center. Everybody is quitting because nobody wants to be associated with Donald Trump and his despicable regime. That, of course, includes world leaders. And we've been highlighting here on the Midas Touch Network how world leaders have been forging alliances with each other and cutting out and icing out the United States. One of the biggest alliances and the biggest trade deals that was just forged as a result of Donald Trump attacking the EU and Donald Trump attacking India is an EU India trade pact, which Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Union Commission, said is the mother of all trade deals. Goodbye usa. The EU and India have signed a trade and security agreement in New Delhi today. According to Ursula von der Leyen, the new agreement creates a free trade zone for around 2 billion people and it's being framed as the two biggest democracies in the world, European Union and India, forging this trade agreement. Also, you had the U.K. germany, Denmark and other European countries signing a clean energy pact at a summit in Hamburg pledging to deliver 100 gigawatts of offshore wind power power through large scale joint projects. But then you have Donald Trump and his regime claiming that Prime Minister Carney of Canada called Trump yesterday and said, donald, I'm so sorry for everything I said about you in Davos. I'm sorry, Donald, if I've been mean to you. You were right about everything. Donald Trump had a sycophant. Cabinet members like Treasury Secretary Scott Besant go on TV and say we got an apology from Prime Minister Carney. Remember, I put that in the video this morning earlier in well, Prime Minister Carney's out with a statement laughing in Donald Trump's face. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney dismissed the idea that he walked back his statements in Davos during a call with Donald Trump, quote, to be very clear, and I said this to the president on the call. I meant what I said in Davos, carney told the CBC before a cabinet meeting. Carney added that Canada was the first country to understand the change in US Trade policy that he had initiated. And we're responding to that as our editor in Chief Ron Philip Koski writes Trump lying about the substance of a call with a foreign leader. Chapter 1378. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is sending his sycophant regime senior officials to continue to defame Alexander Pretty, to continue to defame the great people of Minnesota. Trisha McLaughlin, one of Donald Trump's senior leaders, even though her behavior does not exhibit that of leadership. Here's what she had to say on state regime media this morning where she said she's standing by calling Alex Pretty a domestic terrorist. Play this clip.
Government Official
Trisha. Is the department and the secretary pulling back that label of domestic terrorist from the Alex Pretty situation data. In this situation, we have seen on the ground in Minneapolis a highly coordinated campaign of violence against our law enforcement. Your viewers have seen the images and in this case we saw an individual who he was armed. He got into a physical altercation with law enforcement. He was in the course of obstructing a federal operation, which is a federal crime. The Department of Homeland Security, we work every day to make sure we're giving the American people swift, accurate information. And so we'll continue to do that as standby as things are evolving. Then are you standing by calling him a domestic terrorist? Well, we'll let this investigation that Homeland Security investigators are leading, the FBI is supporting and CBP is doing a separate internal investigation as well. Dana. Okay, so I guess it stands then.
Political Commentator
Let me ask then Trisha McLaughlin says that Kristi Noem is not going anywhere. Let's play this clip right here.
Government Official
How is the secretary prepared to help him fully make that pivot? Yeah, absolutely, Dana and I think the president and secretary, they had at length discussions. I can't get into those specifics. But Secretary Noem will continue to oversee, of course, the Department of Homeland Security. And she's very happy that Tom Homan, who is a great asset to the President, has a great depth of experience and insight that he will be overseeing Minneapolis. Secretary Noem has also been overseeing fema. She's been living there for three days during this storm as well as US Coast Guard, tsa, Secret Service. So her portfolio is really huge. And she'll continue with CBP and ICE. We've arrested and deported over 700,000 criminal legal aliens. I want to get to that million self deportations and she'll continue to continue with that work. Okay.

His regime were focusing on today was trying to promote Melania Trump's movie after the ticket sales have been absolutely abysmal, while our nation is suffering, while people are psychological, psychologically tortured, living paycheck to paycheck right now, if they're lucky enough to get a paycheck where people can't afford homes, they can't afford rent, where people are struggling here in this country, the long term unemployment is like the highest it's been in recent history. They're promoting Melania Trump's movie where Jeff Bezos at Amazon gave Melania $40 million for a movie that nobody wants to see, put an additional 30 million into promotion, put it into 1400 theaters across the country that no one wants to go to. But here's what Melania had to say this morning.
Melania Trump (clip)
Play this clip it was wonderful to have so many world leaders with me on Saturday from all different fields and we were celebrating it and the reception of the movie, of the film was very warm.

And then Melania says that she was very instrumental in the East Wing of the White House, that she was very instrumental. Who wants to tell her that the East Wing no longer exists here? Play this clip.
Melania Trump (clip)
This story was never told before so the audience will see me how I manage my business, my philanthropy, family, preparation for the inauguration and also establishing the East Wing for the White House. How I manage all of that in 20 days prior to the inauguration transition from private citizen to being a First lady again.

Now, one of the things we're hearing from our sources as well is that the Democrats will be calling for the impeachment of Kristi Noem. We've heard a lot of Democrats calling for the impeachment of Kristi Noem already. Like Congressmember Pat Ryan, who says impeachment exists as a last resort to be used only in the most grave and agreeable egregious offenses against our country. Weaponizing a federal agency with a budget bigger than most militaries to kill American citizens in the streets, deport US Veterans, and illegally break into people's homes and then lie about it all repeatedly most certainly meets the weighty standard. The Department of Homeland Security was created to make America feel safe and secure at home. Secretary Noem has failed at this mission. And today millions of Americans are living in fear because of the agency's action that makes us all less safe. Secretary Noem had many chances to take accountability. The Trump administration had many chances to hold her accountable. At every turn, they double down on their cover up of her egregious violations of the public trust. It is clear that action must be taken by Congress. On behalf of my constituents, I'm sponsoring articles of impeachment for Kristi Noem. And meanwhile, you have the Trump regime's top MAGA influencers like Scott Pressler posting the following. When Democrats try to insult me by saying I look like Brooke Shields, I take that as a huge compliment. I think she's absolutely gorgeous. Folks, that is the MAGA movement today. And meanwhile, we're also learning that ICE is a. We know this before, but New York Times confirmed ICE is arresting refugees in Minnesota who are in the country legally, flying them to Texas, re interviewing them and then releasing them without a way to get home. And by the way, have you seen these photos right here of what's been going on in Texas outside of this detention center, this deli detention. Detention center, this concentration camp. Do you see how they're there? The prisoners were having this protest outside of this facility and it just looks absolutely dystopian and horrifying. Take a look at this image of the protest right here at the Dilley, Texas detention center. They like, dress the migrants or people here like. It's like squid games or something. I mean, it's, it is, it is a horrific site that people are suffering. They're screaming, let us out, let us out. Let us out. The horrors that are going on in these facilities. I mean, we've no, we've known. Last year, 30, 40 people died. This year already in January, every other day someone's died at a detention facility. Horrific, horrific war crimes taking place within the United States. Crimes against humanity hit. Subscribe. Let's get to 6 million and thanks for watching.

Episode: Trump Has Terrible Morning as Biggest Fears Surface
Date: January 28, 2026
Hosts: Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas
This episode dives into a particularly disastrous day for Donald Trump and his administration, with the Meiselas brothers highlighting a cascade of legal, political, and cultural setbacks facing the regime. Covering everything from international lawsuits and diplomatic embarrassments to the collapse of the Trump-Kennedy Center and a failing Melania Trump movie, the brothers use their signature mix of informed analysis and caustic wit to offer a thorough recap of the chaos. The episode also addresses the call for impeachment of a leading administration official and the humanitarian crisis at US detention centers.
The conversation balances biting political critique with sardonic humor, blending urgent calls to action (“The horrors that are going on... war crimes”) with moments of comedic relief, particularly in their disdain for regime propaganda and public-relations flops. The banter is unfiltered, often laced with disbelief at the administration’s audacity and incompetence.
This summary covers all of the substantive topics addressed by the Meiselas brothers, preserving their pointed critiques and spotlighting the most significant political developments of the week. For those who missed the episode, this recap provides a thorough rundown of the Trump regime’s most recent crises and the urgent calls for accountability.
