Dr. Fauci has been revealed in all of these text messages and journal entries and emails that have been exposed by the Senate. Dr. Fauci has now been revealed to have known that the COVID shot might cause miscarriage. He told the public that it wouldn't cause miscarriage. But text Messages revealed between Dr. Fauci and some of his underlings, Rochelle Walensky, the head of the CDC at the time. They revealed that he knew there was a risk of miscarriage in pregnant women. Dr. Fauci writes, quote, I asked around a bit more and another issue came up that you need to be aware of. Since many people have significant cytokine storm and fever after the second dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the first trimester. So you will recall that all the COVID authorities said there was no risk of miscarriage whatsoever. Now we have Dr. Fauci, in his own words, saying this theoretically could carry a risk of miscarriage. Now some people are taking this text and saying that Covid the vaccine caused 82% of pregnant women who took it to miscarry. Some politicians are promoting this now. Some are concluding that Covid was the COVID shot, rather not Covid. The COVID shot was, practically speaking, an abortion pill. Wasn't just Fauci writing about this. You also have texts from Dr. Vivek Murthy texting Fauci saying, this is really helpful. Thanks. I've been hearing the concern about the MRNA causing mutations in the developing fetus as well. That is a really good point. Regarding the Cytokine storm post second dose. Another text from Dr. Murthy to Dr. Fauci. Tony Rochelle, Tony Fauci, Rachel Walensky, did you see this announcement today from the World Health Organization saying they advise against pregnant women taking the Moderna vaccine because of A lack of data. It has led to a flurry of questions. What is your take? I imagine we will all get asked about this. So the setup is, yeah, the vaccine could cause miscarriage. The follow up is the World Health Organization says that the vaccine could cause miscarriage and other problems for the developing baby. And the conclusion is how should we respond? How did they respond? Here, just to refresh your memory, because there were so many lies, there was so much injustice during COVID actively promoted by the FAUCI and the Walensky's and everybody else. Importantly, no safety concerns were observed for people vaccinated in the third trimester or safety concerns for their babies. As such, CDC recommends that pregnant people receive the COVID 19 vaccine.

So right there you got a little hidden nostalgia. Pregnant people, do you remember that? That was during Woke 1.0, which is the same thing as Woke 2.0. The Dems want to run away from it. Pregnant people. Because don't forget at that time, for you kids in the audience who don't remember, at that time the federal government was saying with a straight face that men could be pregnant. So you couldn't say pregnant women anymore. You had to say pregnant people. She says it is safe for pregnant people. Now she uses kind of slippery language. She says no negative side effects were observed in the third trimester. But then she makes a separate statement. She doesn't say therefore women or, sorry, pregnant people who are pregnant in their third trimester are safe to get the vaccine. She says, therefore pregnant people are safe to get the vaccine. So it's a little bit of a non sequitur. No negative effects were observed in the third trimester. Therefore if you are pregnant at any stage in any trimester, it's fine for you to get the vaccine. That would be a non sequitur. That would seem to be kind of slippery, duplicitous language. But it could kind of get her out of it a little bit. Well no, I never explicitly said it was safe for people in the first trimester to get the vaccine. It's just. No, see the preface was that the third trimester was safe there and I said pregnant people, but obviously I meant to say third trimester, but no, elsewhere Rochelle Walensky was even more explicit. Is it safe to get vaccinated while you're breastfeeding?

It absolutely is safe to get vaccinated. So I would say if you are thinking about getting Vaccinated. There is no bad time to get vaccinated. While you're thinking about having a baby, before you're thinking about having a baby, while you're pregnant with your baby or after you've delivered your baby, there is no bad time.

Couldn't be clearer than that. Could not be clearer than that. There is no bad time to get the vaccine before you're having a baby. Right? When you get pregnant at any point in your pregnancy, there is no bad time. Take the shit. Take the shit, you dirty sheep. That's what we hear from Rochelle Walensky, but we know from her own texts, text threads that she's in that they knew that there could be a risk in the first trimester. So what about this 82% number? Some politicians are pushing this idea that 82% of pregnant women who got the COVID shot miscarried. I think that is a statistical misreading from. Whatever. I'm not an expert on statistics, but from what I gather reading into that allegation, I think that is a statistical misreading. But that's not the point. Some people are even positing that the 82% number was put out there to discredit anyone who is pointing out that there might have been elevated miscarriage rates because of the COVID shot. Even that is beyond the point. The precise number of women who actually miscarried because they got the COVID shot is a red herring. It's actually irrelevant to the matter at hand. The real issue is that these people, Fauci, Walensky and others, knew that there was a risk, admitted that there was a risk, admitted that the World Health Organization admitted that there was a risk to pregnant women getting this shot, and they told the pregnant women to get the shot anyway. That's the key. And this is just the latest example of Fauci and co saying one thing in public and contradicting that in private. They knew something in private, or they thought they knew something in private and they told the public something else. They lied. Fauci did this with the masks. Fauci privately thought the masks worked. Now, the masks might not have worked to stop Covid. That's also beyond the point. Privately, Fauci thought the masks worked. Publicly. In the early days of COVID he told the public not to wear masks, that the masks would not work. And then he later admitted publicly that he lied to the public and told them not to get the masks because he wanted to save the masks for the healthcare workers. Regardless of the actual substance of the matter, the fact is, he lied to you. Whatever he really believed, he lied to you, and he admitted that he lied to you in that case. When it comes to the lab leak, Fauci publicly said this was not a lab leak. Covid arose naturally from a bad batch of bat soup in Wuhan in the wet market. Privately, he admitted that the lab leak was very likely. Publicly, he said he didn't talk to the intelligence community about these theories about COVID Privately, we know from declassified memoranda from the CIA, from other agencies of the intelligence community that he did speak to them. So it's lie after lie after lie. And this is a particularly consequential lie, because Fauci's dishonesty almost certainly caused the death of babies. Almost certainly. You know, anecdotes are not exactly data, though the plural of anecdote actually is data. But I know of people. I'm thinking of one person in particular who was pregnant, got the COVID shot, then miscarried. Could be a coincidence, but I think a lot of you know, people like that, too. I think a lot of you have at least heard of people like that. And the fact that all of the public health, all the very tippy top public health officials admitted that there was a risk that the COVID vaccine could cause women to miscarry and then lied to the public about it in undeniable, explicit terms just adds another layer, a particularly tragic layer of betrayal that the American people feel for the public health authorities. Which is part of the reason that when we no longer trust these people, when conspiracy theories arise, this is part of the reason that people are justified in feeling that way. Not all conspiracy theories are the same. Not all of them should be taken as seriously. Most of them are not true. But the people are justified in their conspiracy theorizing. In as much as the public authorities lied to you, they lied to you. And so when the conspiracy theories abound, when the distrust of the government institutions abound, that's not chiefly the fault of the people. It's the fault of the public health authorities. It's the fault of people like Dr. Fauci, whose lies have turned deadly. And you can trace this theme back in Fauci's career all the way back to aids, all the way back to the AIDS crisis. Don't forget he was at the helm of NIH for, like, 40 years. Okay. By the way, we have a series on Dr. Fauci. Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey signed a bill on Monday that would make Massachusetts now the 10th state to allow abortion up until the moment of birth. Big signing this ghastly woman, signing the bill, surrounded by all sorts of witches. There's Applause at the end. Yay. Yay. We can kill our babies now. Up until the moment of birth, it's particularly scandalous that this woman did it because she purports to be Catholic. Now, obviously, you cannot be a faithful Catholic and support abortion. You just can't do it. In our liberal age, we think that we can be anything. We can be anything that we want. A man can be a woman. Every boy can grow up to be an astronaut. A pygmy can play in the NBA someday. This is one of the defining features of liberal modernity, is we all just think that we can be anything we want. But Aristotle's law of non contradiction remains undefeated. And you simply cannot be a faithful Catholic and support abortion. But this woman has other problems too. She's apparently a lesbian, and she's in a lesbian marriage, quote, unquote. So her Catholicism is fake. She has an indelible mark on her soul. If she's been baptized, she is in a state of grave mortal sin if she is contradicting the faith and living in this very sinful way, and that's very bad for her. This is why the church traditionally excommunicates people who flagrantly disregard its teaching. It's actually an act of mercy for the faithful because they're putting their souls in very serious jeopardy. Not to mention all of the public sin and scandal. But the fact that people like this woman, this woman who's an infanticidal lesbian, just on its face, cannot be a practicing Catholic. The fact that this woman would continue to claim to be Catholic tells you something about the political order. The fact that Joe Biden, who is supporting basically the same policy on abortion, who supported trans and kids castrating little boys to pretend they're little girls, who supported redefining, defining marriage, I mean, who supported all sorts of things that you simply cannot support and be a practicing Catholic, things that should get you excommunicated. The fact that he would do all of that and yet still claim to be Catholic. Biden, in particular, more than the governor of Massachusetts, would make a big show about being Catholic, tells you an eternal fact about politics, which is that politics and religion always have to go together. And you see this going back to antiquity. The ancient Romans, the Roman religious and political system were intertwined before the Romans, the Etruscans, had the religious and political system even more intertwined. But that's true through the Middle Ages. It's true through the modern era, because the political leaders need legitimacy. They need moral legitimacy. And the only way they can have Moral legitimacy is by appealing to religion. And spiritual leaders have to be political because spiritual authorities lead flocks that live in the real world. So you can never pull these things apart. There's a little bit of a debate springing up on the right. It's mostly just among the chattering pundit, activist class. It's not a mainstream debate, but the debate is over the threat of theocracy. The more secular liberal types on the American right, they hate the idea of Christians actually being Christian in politics and doing Christianity in politics, which of course are founding fathers, to a great extent did. The framers of our Constitution to a large extent did. They called for it explicitly. They said the principles of Christianity are the principles on which independence was one. That was John Adams's line. John Jay says, thank God that we have this common religion here in America. This is a sort of very important aspect of our constitutional order. Nevertheless, the more secular liberal types on the right, they're really, really afraid of religion. And the point that they have to understand is you cannot have politics without religion. And you can't have religion in time and space and history without politics. The two just have to go together. I'm reminded of the more libertarian types who for many years would say politics is downstream of culture. Don't focus on wielding political power, which in many cases is authoritarian and wrong. We shouldn't do that anyway. We just need to focus on changing hearts and minds in the culture and making new movies and new paintings and. But forget about that nasty, ugly politics. But you can't actually neatly separate politics and culture, nor can you neatly separate politics and religion. This is really ghastly. So this woman claims to be Catholic because she wants moral authority, but her real religion is BAAL worship. It's Moloch worship. I mean, she's very literally sacrificing innocent little babies on an altar of false gods. That's what that is. That's what abortion is. Peter Kreeft famously observes that abortion has become this satanic sacrament of liberalism. It's satanic even in as much as, you can see, the inversion of the words. The consecration of the host to the holy Mass. The priest says, this is my body. He's repeating the words of Christ, this is my body, which is given up for you. And Peter Kreeft observes that the abortion flips that inverts that by sacrificing innocent little babies. It uses this line, this is my body. This is my body, my choice. In any case, the woman is claiming the moral authority of Catholicism but practicing a religion that is ultimately Satanic. And liberalism itself, not to get too abstract, we'll get back to. There's a little bit of good news on the kids front in politics, but liberalism itself, I think ultimately is kind of Luciferian. This is, this is really what John Milton is saying in Paradise Lost. In Paradise Lost, the radical romantics read Lucifer, read Satan as the hero of Paradise Lost who rebels against God and has this famous monologue where he says the mind is its own place and it can make a hell of heaven or heaven of hell, and it's better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven. And my reading, I don't have a totally radical romantic reading of Paradise Lost, but my reading is that Lucifer, Satan in Paradise Lost, is a classical liberal. John Milton is writing in the era of classical liberalism. He's espousing classically liberal ideas. And he's a very good writer. He is a very insightful and subtle writer. And the character of Satan in Paradise Lost is speaking the language of liberalism, which is that it's better to be in control than it is to serve. Even if being in control is hellish. Satanic involves killing babies and chopping up little kids and all the horrific stuff that comes along with it. It is better to be in control. It's better to have personal autonomy in a horrible world than it is to be obedient, to give up some of your control in a heavenly world. That is the argument of classical liberalism, which says that the only moral, not the actual classical liberal writers, but the people who interpret them today, who are pulling out, I think, the real seeds of classical liberalism, they're saying the ultimate moral criterion, perhaps the only moral criterion is consent, is choice, is my own individual autonomy. And a lot of the debates on the right right now are people rediscovering that. Actually, that's probably not the case. I would rather live in a good society. And I actually think we can know something about the good. And if the end game of liberalism is that we just sacrifice babies on the altar of Moloch, I would like something else. Okay, now there's some good news on the children's front. Really, really good news. Actually, Texas is just about to open the first detransitioner clinic in the country. After all of the scandal of all these hospitals chopping up little kids, giving them cross sex hormones, chopping up their genitals, stopping their puberty. We now have, by order of the court, thanks to one hero nurse, we now have the first detransitioner clinic opening up. And I think There will be many, many more. A sign that woke 1.0 is over. Really great news. Texas Children's Hospital fired a Christian nurse, Vanessa Sivage, in 2024. They fired this nurse because she exposed that the hospital was using federal funds to trans the kids. Cross sex hormones, procedures, surgeries. She exposed that that's against the law. And so she was fired for being a whistleblower. She then sued and she won a settlement. And the settlement is not just for her own personal good, to make up for the wrongs that were done to her. It was for a real political good. The settlement now requires Texas Children's Hospital to open a detransitioner clinic and to provide free treatment for minors who were transed for whom adults egregiously misled them and got them to pretend to be the opposite sex. The settlement also requires Texas Children's hospital to pay $10 million over the Medicaid fraud that they committed. And it requires the hospital to fire five doctors who trans the kids. So this is real justice. And every doctor who was involved in this should lose his license, should never be anywhere near a doctor's office again, and maybe should be prosecuted. But you know the conservatives, we always say, look, okay, we won the argument, we've convinced people, but there's never any justice, there's never any accountability. It's just a bunch of stupid hearings. Well, this is a case of some real justice. And really, we have this woman to thank, a real hero nurse here. But five doctors who performed the trans kid surgeries, fired, lots of internal reforms, and now a free detransition clinic for all the kids who are wronged by this. Further proof of that is that the leaders of the WOKE left are now running away from the term woke. They're not running away from the ideas. But AOC comes out, she says, wow, woke 1.0. That was crazy, huh? To which I pointed this out on the show yesterday. We must respond with a very simple question. Say, oh, yeah, what was crazy? Oh, yeah, what was crazy? The left is running away from this. The kids are suing the doctors, the adults in their lives who transed them. This is totally repulsive to the American people. Trump won the American vote in no small part on this issue. Yeah, yeah. They realize this is political poison. So they said woke 1.0 was crazy. Oh, yeah. WOKE was crazy about it. Supporting trans youth, was that crazy? No. Opening the border to illegal aliens, was that crazy? No. Abolishing the police and abolishing ice, was that crazy? No, no, no, no, no, no. On no issue will they actually say the issue was crazy. So you got to push them on it because Woke 2.0 is the same thing as Woke 1.0. It's just a little bit more deceptive. It's just changing the word, which the left always does, through the euphemism treadmill. Now, as smarter Democrats are trying to run away from the WOKE messaging, you'll notice a lot of really, really WOKE candidates are winning. Probably the clearest example of that is Francesca Hong, who is currently leading the Democrat gubernatorial primary in Wisconsin. Francesca Kahn, way above. I think she's got more than twice the support in the polls as the next place Democrat. And it's not that Francesca Hong is so different from all the other Democrats. It's not that these DSA candidates, Abdul El Sayed, Zoran Mamd, all the rest of it. It's not that they're so different in the policies they support from the mainstream Dems. They all support weakening police. They all support amnesty for illegal aliens. They all support mass migration. They all support killing babies. They all support transing the kids. They all support all this stuff. It's just that the DSA candidates, the WOKE candidates, are really honest about it, which is repugnant to voters, and the mainstream Dems are liars about it. So you guys have people like, what's her face? Abigail Spanberger, the governor of Virginia. She ran as a moderate little before the midterm election. She wins. She immediately enacts the most radical leftist agenda ever in the history of Virginia. But they all believe the same stuff. So Francesca Hong is one of the most open people about this. She came out, she said that her child being half white gives her proximity to whiteness. Whiteness, which she hates. That is a sick way to talk about your kid. Even down to could we build a statue of the great Republican governor Scott Walker that people can Go smack around. Which is kind of a funny line. It would be a funny line. It would be a funny idea if Hasan Piker didn't regularly call for the actual murder of Republicans. I don't know if it's actually funny, but it's not like haha funny. But you might get a little chuckle out of it because I don't think we should murder politicians. But Hasan Piker calling for the murder of sitting Republican senators, saying the streets should run red and capitalist blood. When he says you need to build a statue of a Republican politician that people can enact violence on, that hits a little different. That actually means something different because he openly calls for actual violence against Republicans. She says, yes, I agree to that. I agree to the enactment of violence against Republicans. Radical as it gets. We could be here all day going down the litany of woke radical positions from Francesca Hong. What's interesting about this story is do you know who's getting her elected? You know who's getting her nominated? I should say it's Republicans. It's the Republicans doing it. Allegedly. Reportedly. Allegedly. So this story here from a local WEAU paper in Wisconsin News network. Republican group spending millions to influence who Wisconsin Democrats choose for governor. So you got the Republican Governor's association spending nearly $3.6 million on ads. That's fine, that's sort of interesting. But what's more interesting than that are all these other little groups. There's one group, it's called Middle Class Priorities. Middle Class Priorities spending almost a million dollars on ads. The only donor to Middle Class Priorities is this group called Progressive Prosperity Caucus Incorporated. This is a relatively new entity. It has a Nebraska address and the address is just a FedEx store. So all the red flags going up here, the Democrats themselves are accusing Progressive Prosperity Caucus of being a Republican front group. And Progressive Prosperity Caucus is the only group that's donated to Middle Class Priorities. Middle Class Priorities, which is pushing Francesca Hong. So we don't have solid proof of this, but it looks like the Republicans are psyopping the Democrats into nominating this total lunatic. On top of that, you have these other groups, you have Republicans coming in running quote unquote, attack ads, openly Republican groups running, quote unquote attack ads against Francesca Hong. But it's in a Democrat primary. So if a Republican group is running an attack ad in a primary, the effect of that is just to help that candidate. Cuz the people who are voting in the Democrat primary want to do the opposite of whatever the Republicans say. There is no reason for a Republican group to be running an attack ad against Democrats in a primary unless you want that candidate to win. And it's working. Francesca Hong is totally crushing. I love. This is the kind of thing in politics that I love so, so much. This is real politics. This isn't just sitting. We're just gonna sit here and debate issues. I like debating issues. That's really interesting. But real politics is on the ground. It's messy, it's clever, it's creative, it's fooling your opponent. It's based on prudence. It's not based on pure academic ideas floating in outer space. It's about just get. It's about dirty tricks. It's about getting your guy to do something and manipulating your opponent. When you look at the radicalism and the craziness of the candidates and the stupidity of what they're suggesting, let's get rid of the Supreme Court, let's get rid of the presidency, let's get rid of the Senate. They want to get rid. Sometimes I'd like to get rid of the Senate to do. But I don't say it and I wouldn't do it. But you know, they want to get rid of the Senate, they want to get rid of ideally the House, but they're thinking about maybe keeping the House. You know, isn't that nice?

He's going off. He is signaling to normal voters that these, these candidates are really radical. But by going after them. And he's being pretty pointed about Hong here, he's also buoying those radical candidates in the primaries. This is great politics. There's just one little caveat here, which is if the Republicans can psyop the Democrats into nominating bad candidates. Abdul El Sayed if he's really a bad candidate, he's not gonna be a shoo in. He's gonna be very controversial. This woman Hong is a total joke. There are many more serious candidates in that race than Hong. Previously you had in Maine, you had the Nazi rapist. The Democrats were able to avoid officially nominating him or permanently nominating him. So then they replaced him with a guy who had two kids with his cousin. Not much better. If the Republicans can psyop the Democrats into picking these bad candidates, that could pay off really well in a tight election year. You might be able to have the Republicans squeak by and beat them. The only word of caution is don't forget this is exactly what the Democrats did to Republicans in 2016. The Republicans, the Democrats in 2016 were encouraging Republicans to nominate Trump. Bill Clinton reportedly personally encouraged Trump to run for president because he thought it would screw up the Republican primary and make it easier for Hillary to win. But what happened was the Democrats were so unpopular that it backfired and Trump ended up winning. I think the same thing could happen here. If the Republicans can maintain some popularity, which up until this moment in the primary, the Republicans have done pretty well, then getting the Dems to nominate a bunch of terrible candidates is really great because then we're beat all those candidates. We're going to hold the Senate, we might hold the House maybe. And that's a genius five dimensional chess win. However, there are really worrisome signs that the GOP is cratering in support, not just the presidential approval rating, but losing important parts of the conservative coalition. CNN citing a Marquette Law School poll showing that MAGA is hemorrhaging young men. We'll get to that in a moment. First though, my favorite comment yesterday is from Kendall Westoff who says, a friend of mine said to me the worst part about Michael Knowles criticizing Abdul El Sayed for the gay dancing was the hypocrisy. I disagree. I think it was the gay dancing. That's a good point. Some people are drawing a comparison between Abdul's oh, I want to dance with somebody campaign ad and the introduction to my show. Net favorability rating the MAGA movement, non college adults back in October of 2024. Look at that. On the plus side of the ledger, positive plus six points down we go into the Atlantic Ocean. Now look at this movement now, -22 points. That is a shift. Johnny B. Of 28 points away from the MAGA movement. Away with non college Americans. Okay, in the 2024 election, he, he won him by 13 points, right? That was the reason he won. He won among non college voters, a very strong performance amongst them. And that of course was the reason he was Able to win because college voters were against him. But look at this now. Minus 19 points choice for the House non college voters, 2024 election. Look at this. Republicans plus 13 points. Now Democrats, Democrats actually lead among non college voters.

This is bad stuff. And you might say, well, who cares about cnn? You know, CNN is super lib, whatever, but Harry End has been great. The CNN pollster is not afraid to air good news about Republicans. And so when he hears bad news about Republicans, you want to pay attention to it. This segment of his polling is specifically about non college voters. Now the mag coalition reshaped the gop, reshaped the Democrats too, by bringing in a lot of non college educated voters. By making the GOP more the party of the working class, which it had been before, but, but had not been in a long time before 2016. And of the non college voters, a huge number of them were men, young men too. And Trump was leading with these groups. Trump won. I mean this was made a crucial difference in 2024 and now the numbers have totally flipped. If you look at some of the cross tabs, do you approve or disprove the way Donald Trump is handling the country? Registered voters you have approval is at 32%. Disapproval is at 58%. For Republicans, even now, approval is 76%. Disapproval is 12%. Don't know, not sure. 12%, not great. This is bad news. But the question is, what did you expect? What did you expect? I mean, the. We'll get to some of the numbers for the rest of the coalition right now, but it's very tough. Trump has a bad situation on his hands in as much as he inherited massive inflation from Joe Biden, so he's brought that inflation way, way down. But there's still a holdover. It's not like prices have actually come down. It's just that the rate of growth has decreased. That's gonna hurt him. People expect the grocery prices to go back to what they were before COVID and that's not gonna happen. On top of that, Trump has a very delicate balance with housing. For housing, there's this big problem. A lot of young people can't get houses. So some people are saying, well, let's just build a lot more housing, bring down the cost of housing, bring down the home prices. But Trump has to also balance that with his boomer and Gen X voters who don't want their housing prices to plummet. He's been open about that. He says, no, no, I don't want the values of their homes to decrease. But that means necessarily that you're gonna struggle to get the homes to the younger people. It's a brutal choice. There's really no win there on the Iran war. Most Americans don't want Iran to have a nuclear weapon, but this war is deeply, deeply unpopular, especially with young men, especially with non college educated voters, which is an important part of the MAGA coalition. The war itself has led to a lot of economic destabilization. Now Iran is saying they're gonna keep the Strait of Hormuz closed until 2027 because they hate Trump so much. Brutal, brutal situation. Now how do you fix that? I think the only way you fix that on the Iran wars, you just have to. Either you have to try to strike a deal, which is not going to happen, or you just try to keep the issue suppressed and just manage the issue until after the midterms. I assume that's what the White House is trying to do. But then on home prices, you have to refocus the home price debate, the affordability debate on mass migration. You can do that. Mass migration is driving most of this stuff. As I've mentioned before in California and New York, 100% of the increase in housing prices in recent years is due to mass migration. And nationally, the number's about 60%. So you can make a very serious, plausible argument that it's about mass migration. Wage suppression is in part at least about mass migration. You can focus and try to rechannel that energy, but a lot of the energy has come out because of the Iran war, which remains pretty unpopular. Okay, so looking ahead past the midterms, what are we Looking at for 2028? President Trump, according to the Washington Post, has settled on the Apprentice. Will it be J.D. vance? Will it be Marco Rubio? Will it be Rand Paul or Ted Cruz or Ron Desantis? Will it be Mitt Romney or I don't know. According to the Washington Post, grain of salt. Trump is privately telling donors to back J.D. vance. Now he's publicly, according to the Washington Post, grain of salt. He's publicly keeping the race open, but he's apparently privately telling donors to back J.D. vance, which, you know, I hate to say I told you so, but I've been calling that from the beginning. Part of picking a vice president, a running mate for a non consecutive second term is setting that guy up to be the president. No knock on Rubio. Rubio's doing a great job. I'm sure Rubio would be a great president, but Ted Cruz is great. You know, I love Ted Cruz. Very good friend of mine, Ted Cruz would be a great president. And there are ways that the campaign could play out in which. Well, probably not Rubio because Rubio is so closely tied to the administration. But there are ways the campaign could play out in which Senator Cruz has a real shot at the presidency. Or there are even ways that the campaign could play out that DeSantis has a shot at the presidency, though it's harder for him as well. Senator Paul probably not, cuz the libertarian moment never seems to come. But nevertheless, you know, it's a great field, but it's almost certainly gonna be JD Dance that seems to me already baked in one. You're seeing it from the polling I just mentioned. President Trump's approval rating among Republicans is at 76%. Pete Hegseth's support among Republicans is at 79%. Marco Rubio support amongst the Republicans is 81%. J.D. vance 85%. So within the Trump administration, the Vice President is actually the most popular figure among Republican voters. Now, it's no knock on Trump. Trump has taken all the slings and arrows. Trump is the main guy, so obviously his approval rating is going to suffer more than the B characters in the administration. But J.D. vance has taken a lot of slings and arrows recently too, in coordinated campaigns to try to kick him out of the heir apparent spot. His approval remains higher than anybody else in the administration. So this reads to me as a true report that Trump really has settled on Vance. Who knows? You never know with Trump, he's very unpredictable. But the fact that it follows the logic of everything else we've heard from this administration, the fact that Trump himself has already basically endorsed Vance and Rubio, Vance and Rubio as a ticket multiple times suggests that. And the good news here in this storm cloud, the silver lining in the storm cloud of the MAGA coalition, losing non college educated voters, losing some young men, is that the coalition politics from the leadership seems to be strong. You don't really have Rubio running a shadow campaign against Vance. You don't have a ton of Republican infighting in the political class. You have a Republican infighting in the media class. You have Republican infighting a little bit in the activist class, but not really in the elected political class. However, the fear is that the MAGA coalition has shrunk and that's gonna be a big test. Now you might even say that if Republicans lose the midterms and that these crazy Democrat candidates are elected, these especially crazy candidates are elected, that actually increases Republicans opportunities in 2028. But my view on this is Always in politics, you don't win by losing Democrats. If they take that House, which they probably will, certainly if they take the Senate, too, you're gonna see a lot of problems. You're gonna see basically a full stop to the Trump legislative agenda. You're gonna see a lot of investigations. You're gonna see all sorts of recriminations. You're probably gonna see another impeachment fight. It's gonna be brutal.
