Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been arrested in Miami on charges of rape and human trafficking in compliance with an extradition order from the United Kingdom. The arrest is a stunning reversal of the UK's long standing policy never to arrest Muslims for rape or human trafficking. We will dig into the details then. The Odyssey banks over a quarter billion dollars at the box office even though nobody liked it. Hmm hmm. Young conservatives are Nixon maxing and women on TikTok cannot stop buying pants that might kill them. I'm Michael Knowles. This is the Michael Knowles Show. Welcome back to the show. Barack Obama is now attacking Vice President J.D. vance over the race of Vance's wife. You know when they go low, we attack your wife over her race. When they go, just a completely disgusting person, Barack Obama. Just a reminder, cuz he plays like a really nice sort of gentlemanly person on tv. He's a disgusting person. Truly one of the worst people ever to occupy the presidency. Anyway, we'll get into all of that in a moment. First we gotta get to the big news. Andrew and Tristan Tate arrested in Miami. What is the charge or charges? This was not an arrest coming from the United States. This was coming from the British government. The Crown Prosecution Service released a statement. This is out of the uk said that it was seeking extradition for the two brothers, aiming to bring them to Britain to face a total of 59 charges. This coming after, obviously they were charged in Romania. According to Assistant Chief Constable Corinna Thomas from the Bedfordshire Police. She said this was a complex investigation that involved both national and international law enforcement. Quote, we understand the interest that this case will generate, but we would urge the public not to speculate and to allow the legal process to be carried out correctly. Quote, there is no place for male violence against women and girls. And we will continue to work tirelessly to support victims and investigate all reports made to us. Is that so? I guess we should celebrate. Forget about the Tates for a second. We should celebrate that the UK is finally, after how many years, after how many decades, arresting Muslims for grooming and raping girls. Wow, that's about time. I didn't know the UK had it in them. But this quote here, there is no place for male violence against women and girls. We will continue to work tirelessly. Are you kidding me? The United Kingdom more than any other government on earth, is infamous for neglecting the grooming, the sex trafficking, the rape the of young girls. The reason I keep bringing the Muslims up is because in the uk, the kinds of grooming and mass rape that the British Police were neglecting. It was all being done by Muslims, almost Pakistani Muslim immigrants. And because of political correctness, they didn't want to prosecute them. They wouldn't believe the girls. Some of the girls were murdered by these guys. Some of the girls killed themselves. So, okay, what about the Tate brothers? Well, the charges seem plausible. The charges seem. I mean, the guys have been pretty open about running essentially Internet prostitution rings and this videotape of them being kind of rough with girls. And so, you know, it definitely seems plausible. They did move to Romania. Not a lot of good things happen in Romania. So, you know, it all seems plausible. But I just, I don't wanna let the UK off the hook for the bigger issue here. What about the Pakistani rape gangs? What about the fact that the United Kingdom has two tier policing, overtly two tier policing. You saw the guidance from the College of Policing, you saw the race action plan from the UK police where they said you basically need to let Pakistani rapists off the hook because we don't want colorblind policing, because we don't wanna be racist, because we need to focus on the real problems which are white fragility and racism or whatever. So, okay, the new rule is the UK will not prosecute Muslim rapists unless accused rapists, unless they're red pill celebrities, unless they're TikTok influencers. Okay, all right, that's fine. I just. Can we see. Forget. Well, the Tates will get their day in court and there will be an investigation and. Okay, but can we. What about all the other guys? What about like all the guys that are in the UK right now who have been grooming and raping girls? Are there gonna. Is the UK gonna do anything about that? No, no, they're just gonna focus on the Twitter celebrities. Okay, all right, well, that's something, I guess. Speaking of violence, epic journeys, the Odyssey is raking in money. I did my video review. It was kind of a first take video review of the Odyssey. It's up on the YouTube channel and all the other channels. I saw it on Thursday or Friday and so I won't rehash my whole review there, but the short version of it is. It was an enjoyable movie. I'm glad I saw it. I kind of wish I saw it in IMAX also. It's not the Odyssey. There are these woke elements to it, very overtly woke elements that make me wonder if Christopher Nolan is not merely depicting Odysseus, but actually channeling his inner Odysseus. Is he being a little wily? Is he being A little crafty here in the ways that he's playing on the Hollywood rules of dei, especially when it comes to the Academy Awards. But beyond that, the moment of the Odyssey that has probably attracted the most attention for the wokeness or the DEI is the casting of this trans identifying actress Ellen Page to play a man. And she plays this character, Sinon. And it was initially rumored that Ellen Page played Achilles, but then you find out she's playing this character, Sinon. And what's interesting is that Sinon doesn't appear in the Odyssey. Achilles does appear in the Odyssey. Sinon does not appear in the Odyssey. Sinon comes from a later Latin poem, Virgil's Aeneid. And then you see Sinon through the later Western tradition. You see Sinon in Dante. Also Odysseus. You see him in Dante, too. You see references to Sinon in Shakespeare and so forth. So what this tells you is that Christopher Nolan is reading the Odyssey from through a later Western tradition. But what's interesting about the rumors that Ellen Page was playing Achilles is that the Sinon character that Christopher Nolan inserts into the Odyssey in crucial ways fulfills the Achilles character. And notably, this comes a little bit of a spoiler alert in the scene from Hades. Odysseus goes down to Hades, and in the poem, he talks to Achilles and he tries to comfort Achilles about his death. And Achilles says, don't comfort me about my death. There is no comfort in death, which is a very Greek pagan view of death, that death is always worse than life. And all the people in the land of the dead are just looking up to the land of the living. And that speech Christopher Nolan takes out of the mouth of Achilles and puts into the mouth of Sinon, which I think is part of why those rumors started to float around. It's very funny, too, because I gave a review of this on X and I said, you know, Achilles, you have Helen of Troy is played. Not only is she not Greek, she's played by a black actress. So black that she calls herself dark as night. It's how Lupita Nyong' o has described herself. You don't just get a little bit of kind of LGBT propaganda in there. You get Achilles, the greatest warrior ever, who is recast as a different warrior, who's played by this woman who thinks she's a man, what have you. And it's really increased my ex, Elon Buck's payouts, I think, this week, because you had all of these people who were clearly not familiar with the poem and maybe not familiar with the movie, they say, don't you know that Achilles wasn't even in the movie? And you say, well, no, Achilles wasn't in the movie, but he is in the poem and he was sort of in the movie and that he was recast as sin on. Anyway, anyway, audiences love it. The movie has garnered 1:24.5 million bucks opening weekend in North America. In addition, it had a big global release. So now the Odyssey is pushing over a quarter billion dollars globally. Very, very impressive. As I said earlier, nobody liked the Odyssey. That's it. Mm. Do you see what I. Do you get it? Do you get what I'm putting out there? Do you see what I'm saying? Nobody liked the Odyssey. It's another one of those comments that will separate the wheat from the chaff on reading or watching the Odyssey, much like the Achilles comment. But in any case, it's done very, very well. And what's really important is right now on Amazon, translations of the Odyssey are at number 4, 8, and 49 on all of Amazon's bestsellers. And there's a translation of the Iliad that's at number 61. So this is good. I haven't seen where Emily Wilson's feminist translation is. Hopefully that's way down the list, but hopefully the Fagals, the Lattimore, the good translations, Pope, maybe are up toward the top of the Odyssey and the Iliad. In any case, that is good. The best thing that the Odyssey movie can do is get people to read the Odyssey and the Iliad. And the one issue with the movie, one of many issues, but one of the issues with the movie is when people read the Odyssey, they're gonna realize that Christopher Nolan's movie might be a really good movie, but it's not the Odyssey. The Odyssey is pagan. Christopher Nolan remakes this Odyssey as really overtly on the Nose Christian. 1 Reading of Christianity in the Odyssey. Odysseus is a wily, crafty, deceptive hero. In Christopher Nolan's Odyssey, he is a broken man tormented by PTSD in the Odyssey, the Trojan horse is a great trick. In Christopher Nolan's Odyssey, it's basically original sin and it destroys civilization. So I think this is where some of the commentary in the Odyssey is getting pretty confused. I would give the Odyssey a strong B, maybe with great inflation, I'd give it an A minus. But it was an enjoyable movie. I don't regret seeing it. I wish I saw it on imax. But it's not the Odyssey. The protagonist of Christopher Nolan's movie is not Odysseus someone. I'm not the first to observe it, but someone pointed out that in many ways this Christopher Nolan movie is much more a sequel to Oppenheimer than it is an adaptation of the Odyssey. It's a Nolan movie. It's not really an adaptation of Homer. In any case, though, if it gets you reading the Odyssey, if it gets you reading the Iliad and the Aeneid and the Divine Comedy and Shakespeare and all the better, that's great. Okay, Speaking of danger and death, women are wearing pants that keep injuring them. They're wearing death trap pants and they won't stop. We'll get to that momentarily though. I mean, I have some account that people run for me, but I'm not on it. I don't do that. I'm a Twitter man. I occasionally dabble in Instagram when I want to play ukulele and I don't TikTok. It's like to me, Twitter is a cigarette and Instagram is like speed or something and TikTok is crack, so I don't play with it. But what I've been told, reliably informed, is that women are taking to TikTok because they're buying pants at Zara, you know, the sort of cheap fashionable clothing store. They're buying these pants that keep almost killing them. Do we have some of these videos? I put them on, I walk around Palma and I trip and fall, eat in front of everybody. No one's helping me out actually. And then one more time on the way to dinner, I fall. Like I trip. I had like little of kitten heels on and just fall. I just, I just fall. Do we have. There are like a billion of these videos. Do we have another one? Yeah, give me, give me another one. The other day I almost accidentally tripped and flew head first down the stairs. I'm going to do a live demo of how it happens. Cuz it's not the length, like I roll them up like that, like good to go. But what happens is all the people don't look at me. You're walking, walking, walking and then you're blowing in the wind and then this thing catches here and you go, ah, all right. We could be here all day watching these TikToks of these women. I just. The whole trend, what they're saying is there are these pants, these very popular pants at this very popular store, Zara, and they keep injuring, I mean these reports. One gal nearly fell down the stairs because of what just happened. The pant caught the opposite foot, though she wasn't seriously injured. Another woman, Holly Gilmer, tripped in the pants, fractured her knee, was in a wheelchair in a cast. Another woman fell while wearing the pants, broke her wrist, had a deep cut on her temple, had a facial injury, people falling down the escalators. And something I just love about women is they're wearing these pants. The pants keep almost killing them and what do they do? They double down on the pants. They make videos wearing the pants, talking about how dangerous the pants are and then they keep wearing the pants. I just love it. It's so delightful. I love women so much. It's just the Eve. Hey Eve. You can do literally anything you want. Just don't eat that apple. What'd you say? What was that? Don't. No. Don't. No. Why is sin and death pervading the world? I don't. Anyway, I just. I know some people will react to this with misogyny. This just even further draws out my total love of women. But on this point with these wide pants, I won't belabor the point too long, but I have to make it. These young women, these Zoomer women are totally right. The problem with the pants is they're a little bit too loose. And zoomer clothing is loose. It's way loosened up on the shirts, on the pants, the socks are longer. They're not as everything. Millennials shrunk everything down with the real tight pants. So men are walking around in these capri pant leggings. Men, Men. They're ostensibly heterosexual men. And all the jackets got too short. So all of a sudden, men who used to wear n coats and suit jackets and blazers used to be a normal length that would. You could kind of feel it with your knuckles and it would bisect your body. They just start coming up like a woman's jacket. And everything just started to look really androgynous and gay and tight. And the zoomers have reversed that and now they've gone a little too loose on their clothing and they keep falling down escalators and breaking their bones. But the Zoomers are right, okay? The return of wide legs and classic cut is good. The return of clothing that allows men to age like potatoes is good. Millennial slim cut. The millennial slim cut was the canary in the coal mine for transgenderism. It was, it was the warning. It was the omen of the androgyny peak that hit in 2022, 2023. I don't wanna beat up on the Tate brothers too much. They obviously have plenty of other problems. But a lot of people were making this joke on the Internet. They said, yeah, they were arrested by the police, the fashion police, cuz their clothing is too tight. And I don't like. I'm just on the clothing point. I don't. The Zoomers are right. Even these girls who are almost killing themselves at Zara are right. The looser, it's better. Looser clothing is not only more comfortable, it projects greater confidence. Even if it almost kills you. It's great. Speaking of Zoomer trends, there's another one that I love. I love this so much. I think this is in the Wall Street Journal. Yes, young conservatives have an unlikely new icon. Richard Nixon. Nixon Maxing swag and TikTok videos have helped trigger a rethinking of the former president's legacy among some conservatives. The only thing I don't like about this article, and I don't I say this with as much humility as I possibly can, is I played a role in the Nixon Renaissance and I Did not get any credit. It's okay. I don't want to have the hubris of Odysseus. I don't want to offend the gods. So I will take this as a penance to to grow in humility. But I have been on the pro Nixon train for a very, very long time. And I got to speak last year at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. I've been Nixon maxing for a while. I think Mike Cernovich credited me with helping to Nixon pill him. But in any case, you know what? It's not about me. Just like with Richard Nixon. It's not about him, it's about the country. I have been though Nixon, there's a little picture from, I don't know, about 150 years ago with Henry the K. Nixon, Secretary of State. Anyway, Nixon, cuz he got such short shrift in the conservative movement. Everybody wanted to talk about Reagan. Nobody wanted to talk about old tricky Dick Nixon. And now Nixon's coming back. Why is that? Why are we getting the edits of Nixon? Why is this all happening? I was a little early on the trend, but it really is not about me. Because the trend was inevitable. That's why. The reason why the kids are Nixon pilled right now, the reason why I'm not saying this is like a mainstream broad trend. I'm saying among a certain subset of nerdy conservative movement types, staffers, students, political nerds, Nixon's coming back. The reason that was basically inevitable is because Nixon was treated unfairly. He was the victim of a Deep State operation with Deep Throat and Woodward and Bernstein. He was targeted by entrenched bureaucrats and he was treated very unfairly. Not only in getting run out of Washington, not even for a crime, for finding out later and sort of covering up a crime that someone else committed from a team of people that had a bunch of CIA operatives on it. And the whole thing just stunk to high heaven. But he was treated unfairly even before that. Like when Kennedy stole Illinois in the 1960 presidential election. And Nixon, like a true patriot, just ate it at that time. Cause he felt it would be too damaging to the country to challenge the election, especially during the Cold War. So he ate it. But he may have had that election stolen from him. And what it really goes back to is that when Richard Nixon was a congressman, he nailed Alger Hiss, he nailed this communist who was in the State Department. You know, we hear about McCarthyism and the House UN American Activities Committee, HUAC as its detractors call it. And we can hear about the Red Scare and all of this. But in fact, there were communists who had infiltrated the US Government. They worked at very, very high levels, including Alger Hiss, who was at such a high level in the State Department. He helped found the United Nations. Alger Hiss was a communist spy. And he was ratted on by his former comrade, Whitaker Chambers, who is this communist who became disillusioned with communism, became a Quaker. And anyway, he was telling a story. Nobody believed him. Richard Nixon believed Chambers. He really thought Alger Hiss was a communist. Everyone made fun of him. And he got it right. He led the investigations into Algerhis. He got him, he nailed him. And the left never forgave him for it. So he was treated very, very unfairly. But the other reason that the kids love Nixon is he's a figure who meets the demands of this moment. Richard Nixon. The kids love Richard Nixon because he was a sensitive young man who was treated very unfairly by the system. That's a big part of it. I really mean that about a sensitive young man. He was very musical. He was extremely talented. There are these great videos of him playing piano and stuff like that. I was in Richard Nixon's childhood home not that long ago. You have the violin there and the piano. And he was courting his wife. She wasn't that interested in him. He would drive her to dates with other guys. He just wanted to spend time with her. He eventually won her over. Very sensitive young man who was run out. He was treated very fairly. The other reason the kids love Nixon is because Nixon aesthetically is the anti Reagan. Reagan is this Hollywood movie star glitz and glamour and optimism. And that speaks to a certain moment of American history, but it doesn't speak as much to this moment. At this moment, the right realizes that a lot of what we've been told is a lie. The right realizes that the situation is more dire than we thought it was. We've been kind of whistling past the graveyard when it comes to issues like mass migration and economic globalization. And so the kind of figure that is called for in this moment is less the poetry of Ronald Reagan, more the prose of Richard Nixon, less the smiling movie star, more the scowling kind of crooked looking politician. That's who is called for in this moment. You know, a guy who just seems like a real killer, which Reagan didn't look. He kind of was a killer, but he didn't really look like one. Richard Nixon really, really did look like one. This is no knock on Ronald Reagan. Reagan was great. It's just Reagan has shifted in what he means to people. In 1980. Everything that people said about Donald Trump in 2016 they said about Ronald Reagan in 1980. He's dog whistling to racists. He's a neo Nazi. He's empowering the worst elements of the a populist. Everything they said about Trump in 2016 they said about Reagan in 1980. The two factions of the GOP in 1980 were the more conservative, wily populist wing, which supported Reagan, and the more establishment wing, which supported George H.W. bush. And what's ironic about Nixon's meaning now sorry, Reagan's meaning now is that it is now the more moderate and establishment wing of the GOP that is most likely to call itself Reaganite. In other words, Reagan has transformed in the public imagination from being Ronald Reagan to being George Bush. He's now the more kind of establishment figure and guys like Richard Nixon or Donald Trump or Pat Buchanan, these other guys have kind of filled in the gap as the more edgy, conservative right wing part of that movement. You're seeing this play out in the shadow war for the 2028 presidential election. I think you're seeing the return of these factions, especially with an organized campaign against J.D. vance. Right now, there's a big campaign underway on social media, which has been talked about ad nauseam, but I kind of want to take a different angle on it. There's this campaign against JD Vance to say that Marco Rubio should be the nominee instead of J.D. vance. J.D. vance, who has vice president, is the heir apparent. Even though Rubio has endorsed J.D. vance for president, even though Trump has endorsed Vance and Rubio running as a ticket. There's still this kind of shadow war going on from some of the pundits and the influencers, some of the activists, some of the lobbyists, all of the different ingredients that go into the conservative movement. There's this concerted effort right now to try to take JD Vance down a peg, and some people are getting really angry about it. Some people are getting very frustrated. I take it as a fait accompli. This is just part of politics. It is simply a fact that many of, if not most of the most strident voices against J.D. vance right now were 10 years ago. The most strident voices against Trump. The Never Trump movement, which existed in 2016 and which then splintered off into the people who really couldn't vote for him. Some of them voted for that CIA operative Egg McMuffin. Some of them didn't vote at all. Some of them, I guess, voted for Hillary. Perhaps. Then after Trump won, some of them kind of came back into the party and played ball. Some of them did not. They split off forever and became Democrats like Bill Kristol. But nevertheless, the hardcore Never Trump movement in 2016 was largely the movement that supported Ron DeSantis over Trump in the primary of 2024. And it is also the same movement that is going after J.D. vance right now, which is good news for J.D. vance in many ways because that means that he really is inheriting a lot of the not just the Trump coalition, but the people who oppose the Trump coalition even the first time around. But these are the dynamics at play. I mentioned Ron DeSantis. This shows you a lot of the dynamics that are at play looking into 2028 because the craziest thing, the tragic part of the Ron DeSantis 2024 campaign is that Ron DeSantis as a candidate should be in the Trump lane. He is the Trump like candidate. He won because of Trump's endorsement, and then he was very, very popular because he governed in this way that was very thoughtful. It wasn't just rehashing old platitudes from the 1980s. He really was avant garde in his thinking on right wing politics. He did lean a little bit more populist. He did lean a little more common good. He did lean. All of you know, he really naturally was in the Trump lane. That's one reason people liked him so much. Indeed, the initial pitch for Ron DeSantis for president was he's like Trump, but more disciplined. He's like Trump, but he'll be more effective. He's like Trump, you know, but it was he's like Trump. That was the pitch. The problem for Ron DeSantis was because he was literally running against Trump because Trump wanted the nomination. Again, his lane, his only real base of support, were the people who didn't like Trump. So you had this immediate paradox of the campaign, really. It's just a contradiction. DeSantis at his best was the next evolution of Trump. But the people who would support a candidate over Trump in 2024 were the guys who hated the first version of Trump. So it wasn't. It just wasn't gonna. It wasn't gonna work for vance. Looking at 2028 for Vance. Vance is almost certainly, unless the Trump administration collapses, he will almost certainly inherit the Trump wing. If Trump is still the king of the gop, he'll be the kingmaker. I don't think Rubio's gonna run against him. If he's running. You know, you have all these things. You could have other candidates. You could have DeSantis, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, other guys who would all have their own other lanes. You know, Rand Paul probably gets the libertarian lane. Thomas Massie could vie for the libertarian lane, but Rand Paul has the libertarian bona fides without attacking the gop, without sidling up with Democrats, working with guys like Ro Khanna, like Thomas Massie. So I think Rand Paul gets that lane. Senator Cruz has a real lane. He was the number two guy in 2016, the last time there was a competitive primary. He could get the more hawkish foreign policy side of the lane with the more libertarian economics. He could get the more kind of Reaganite lane. You could see that shaping up, but it's basically all going to be contingent upon the strength of the Trump administration. If the Trump administration remains strong, he'll just pick the nominee. That's how it'll go. If the Trump administration is weak, you're gonna see a guy from outside the administration. Now, the Democrats clearly think Vance is the guy. You saw this just within the last few days with Barack Obama not only going after Vance, but attacking him in the nastiest, ugliest, most nauseous of ways. He attacks Vance over Vance's wife. And he attacked. It's even worse than that. He attacks Vance over Vance's wife's race. One of our major party has been captured by politics. That is not that subtle about suggesting that we the people means a certain kind of people. That when you have the vice president, current vice president, making a speech that is basically a blood and soil version of we the people, that it matters who your parents were and how long they've been here. Despite him being married to an immigrant daughter of an immigrant himself. That echoes then ideas about who can be a citizen, who belongs, who gets to make decisions. Okay, right off the bat, just a reminder, because a lot of people forget, even on the right, do not forget Barack Obama is one of the nastiest people ever to occupy the presidency. He is a disgusting person. He clearly hates America. He made that clear when he was running for president the first time when he said he was running to fundamentally transform America. You don't fundamentally transform things you love. He is a nasty, unpatriotic, disgusting person. It is disgusting to levy this kind of an attack on a political opponent. He's doing it obviously cuz he's afraid of Vance. But to go after not only the guy's wife, but the guy's wife on account of her race. Nauseating. But what's almost more offensive than the attack itself is how stupid the attack is. Vice President the other day he made a speech in which he suggested that we the people refers to only a certain kind of people. Yes, we the people does refer to a certain kind of people. That's why there is a definite article before the people. There are things like indefinite articles, like a people an people. No, it would be a people. But there's a definite article here. The people. It's referring to a specific kind of people, the American people. We the people does not refer to the Italian people. We the people does not refer to the Tibetan people or the Nigerian people. It refers to the American people. If there is such a thing as the American people, there must be something that distinguishes the American people from other kinds of peoples. What is that? He thinks it matters who your parents are. Hold on. It's not J.D. vance who thinks that. It's our Founding Fathers and the framers of our Constitution. The Constitution is what says that if you're not a natural born citizen, you can't be president, for instance. That's our framers who said that. That's not the vice president. It's not the racists and the blood in soil nationalists. To call someone a blood and soil nationalist is to call someone a Nazi. So he says, yeah, J.D. vance, he's got a brown wife and he's a Nazi, and he thinks that the American people is a coherent concept. It's just so offensive, alternatingly nasty and stupid. But it's John Jay in the Federalist and Federalist Number two says, thank God that we have. We're a common people with a common experience, with a common language, with a common religion, with a common. All these sorts of things that it matters who you are, what you believe, what you do. Yeah. If you're a Venezuelan criminal, you don't magically become an American because you cross the Rio Grande. Because you pay some coyotes to cross the Rio Grande. You don't. That's true. And I think what's at the bottom of a lot of this consternation, not only from the left, but from the establishment right, which really just wants cheap labor, which is why they support mass migration. The Chamber of Commerce, right, which supports mass migration because they think it helps boost GDP and at the very least allows them to pay slave wages to their workers, is I think they fear that the immigration issue, beginning with Donald Trump in recent times, has really taken center stage. People are really speaking of immigration restriction and actually enforcing the law in a serious way. JD Vance has clearly thought very deeply about this idea. He clearly backs the administration's policies on this sort of thing. And so there's a real focus to take him out. It's not really even so much about him personally. It's certainly not about his wife. It's just about his lane. If he really is the heir to the Trump lane, which is how he's positioned himself, how Trump has positioned him, and I think how his opponents have positioned him too, then it's no surprise that he would get opposition from the left, the mainstream left, and also the never Trump right, also some more of the establishment or neoconservative elements at the heart of that. It's not the only factor, but at the heart of a lot of that is the immigration issue. No wonder Obama would levy such a nasty personal attack centered around immigration. Okay, speaking of Democrat attacks on Republicans, Hunter Biden is still going on podcasts for some reason, and he wants you to know that America's biggest problem is that Republicans are secretly gay. The SpongeBob SquarePants movie from 2004 is a better adaptation. Yeah, that's the thing. You can't. A lot of the people who are making political comments on the Odyssey, especially from the left, who were kind of attacking the right for apparently attacking the movie or whatever, they're just. They're not listening. They don't understand what we're saying. Yeah, the Odyssey. Christopher Nolan's Odyssey is a terrible adaptation of the Odyssey. It's a pretty good movie. It's an enjoyable. I enjoyed the movie and some parts of the movie I thought were really good. Some didn't work, but it's quite a good movie. It's just not the Odyssey. If it gets you to read the Odyssey, great. You should read the Odyssey. And the Odyssey is easier to read than the Iliad. You should read the Iliad too, though, and the Aeneid, and so on and so forth. But it's not. Yeah, it's not an adaptation. It's a good Christopher Nolan movie. It's maybe my favorite Christopher Nolan movie. It's not the Odyssey, though. Okay. Speaking of media phenomena, Hunter Biden, he's on his rehab tour. Hunter Biden, he said he's endeavoring to unite the left and the right. He's gonna advance a new kind of politics. He's against the uniparty. He's gonna say it like it is. So what does he do? He goes on, I don't even remember the woman's name, but it's one of these extremely left wing shows. And he advances his really interesting thesis that the cause of our political problems is that Republicans are deeply closeted homosexuals. Take it away. I believe that the biggest problem in America, in Washington D.C. with the federal government, is not the oligarchy closet cases. It's the closetocracy, as I call is. And I'm being totally serious. Everybody knows there is like this closeted gay mafia, largely Republican Republican that exist in Washington D.C. and everybody knows every single one of them who's gay. And so it's. And what I believe, the only reason that that is relevant is because I believe that internal conflict creates so much vitriol inside a person that they take it out on the rest of the world. And they do. And so what they do is their whole lives they've been closeted until you have this black ball inside yourself, this blackened heart by the fact that you can't be who you want to be. And so you take it out on everybody else. And these people, men, largely men, have done exactly that. And everybody knows who they are. Everybody. Yeah. So much to get into with this. I love this comment because I think it's gonna clear a lot of confusion, especially about Hunter Biden. So much. He opens up, he says, everybody knows. Well, first of all, he says there are a lot of homosexuals in D.C. that's true. That part is true. But then notice what he does. He says, and it's. They're mostly Republican now. He says they're mostly Republican to advance his thesis, which is this kind of Freudian Wilhelm Reich thesis, which we'll get to in a second. But it's also because he wants to make fun of them for being Gay. But as a tried and true card carrying liberal, he can't make fun of people for being gay. I mean, he is doing that, but he can't seem like he's doing that. So what he does is he makes fun of them not for being gay, but for the apparent hypocrisy. Wouldn't even be hypocrisy, by the way, if you were a homosexual who didn't act on it. That actually wouldn't be hypocrisy. You'd sort of just have a different set of principles than your desires or whatever topic for another time. Nevertheless, that's his way in. Basically what he wants to do is be like you Republicans are dumb and gay, but he can't say that as a liberal. So he's gotta construct this whole theory out of it. Okay, so let's get into the first of all, just as a. There are plenty of gay GOP staffers and stuff in dc. He's right about that. But it's not most of them. That's most of the. Most of the more homosexual inclined people in politics are in fact on the left. There are some on the right and we love the ones that are voting conservative and Republican and working to advance conservative causes. That's great, but he is misrepresenting what actually happened. Then he goes on to create his thesis. And the theory that he has here is that Republicans are especially vitriolic and nasty and violent and dangerous because they are repressed homosexuals. Okay, now the second problem with his theory is that Republicans are not the ones who are violent and vitriolic and who hate the other side. All of the social scientific literature that we can look at right now shows that the left hates the right much more than the right hates the left. The left is more violent against the right today than the right is against the left. And that's not even counting most of the left wing terrorism. The left justifies violence against the right much more than the right justifies violence against the left. This is borne out in like all of the social scientific data. So the second part of his stupid syllogism is false. Namely that the right is especially vitriolic and it owes this vitriol to its repressed homosexuality. It's supposedly repressed homosexuality. And then he goes on and embraces a theory that kind of originates with Freud, but really reaches its fullness in this 20th century thinker Wilhelm Reich. Who was he? German or Austrian? I forget. But he had this theory that basically every problem in the world is caused by a lack of orgasms. Sorry, parental guidance, parental warning here. His theory was that a lack of orgasms caused every problem in the world. Not just, you know, violence and sociopathy and things, but like war, cancer, disease. So he invented this box called the orgone accumulator. He thought that there was this in the ether, there was this substance called orgones, and when you had orgasms, you accumulated them. And so he had this box. It was like, again, if children are listening, cover your ears. It was a goon box. Basically, he invented a goon box, and it was called the orgone accumulator. And his theory was, if people had more orgasms, we would have world peace, we would live in utopia. And Hunter Biden is just rehashing that stupid theory. This was a theory that was embraced by intellectuals 60 years ago. Guys like J.D. salinger, guys like Norman Mailer, guys like. Who was the other very. Oh, Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders embraced this theory in the 60s. He wrote an essay about it, but nevertheless, that's been discarded. It's totally insane. Hunter Biden's just rehashing that. He is, in other words, rehashing the dumbest woo woo boomer, New agey liberal theories. And this brings me to my bigger point on Hunter Biden, which is Hunter Biden. Hunter Biden's greatest deception was convincing podcasters that he's interesting. He's doing this interview circuit where he's talking to people on the right and on the left and people who are kind of. You don't know if they're on the right or the left, but he's going. He's supposed to be so interesting. You know, man, he's this guy. He's finally breaking his silence after he was supposedly oppressed. Now again, don't forget, he's just a criminal. He's just like a degenerate criminal. He was an addict. He was a sex criminal, a sex fiend. He was corrupt. He sold his father's influence and a mischievous the American, the integrity of the United States to foreign powers to be bribed. And look, he says he turned his life around. I hope he did turn his life around. We shall pray for under Biden. But that's it. That's his story. He was a degenerate, irresponsible criminal, and now he's got a chip on his shoulder or something and he's blaming everybody else. But the great deception was that he had something interesting to say. His political opinions are indistinguishable from your most normie boomer lib wine aunt. His political opinions are just like, yeah, you know what those Republicans are? Republicans are bad cuz they're gay. That's his opinion. That's his, like, great insight. Oh, thank goodness Hunter Biden broke his silence so he could just rant with the same lunacy that like Aunt Shelley does after four glasses of Chablis at Thanksgiving. It's just so pathetic. Okay, speaking of the liberal establishment, head of the California Teacher Union is in trouble for urging people to take to the streets to stop the fascist Trump regime.
